A cute cafe find in Los Gatos! I had a rather mixed experience here.. here goes: What I liked: 1. Ambience (think cute, aesthetic, fresh, lot of greenery) 2. bakery items (tried "Napoleon" (a layered puff pastry cake with cream - delicious!) 3. And yes - coffee (tried latte and lavender latte)! Also, they have lots of option for bakery items, I will definitely be visiting again to try more. What I didn't like/could be improved: 1. Raspberry brownie (this was okay-ish, nothing great) 2. The staff: I usually don't give bad reviews/comments unless something is really off-putting. First, the attitude while taking the order was rather rude. Unfortunately, if you are in the restaurant business, greeting customers warmly should be somewhere pretty high up in your job duties. I asked her about the pastry display on the side which had an array of some of the most exquisite pastries and whether I could order from there, she was quite standoffish in her answer, and that really made me not feeling like ordering anything from her. Thankfully, it was another person who handed me my coffee and pastry order that I did end up getting thanks to no help to the previous person. So yes, I loved the coffee, baked goods, ambience but because of my experience with the staff, I will give it a 3/5.

Finally tried for the first time! I ordered the lemon meringue pastry w the filling, the goat cheese waffles, and an iced tea. Really good. Customer service could improve a tiny bit

Came before ten. There was still some seating inside. My son was playing in the kiddie corner. Lots of little toys for kids. Ordered the Gruyère waffle and syniki with fruit and custard. The food was good. They had lattes to choose from too, maybe I'll try those next time. The baked goods also looked tasty

This won't be a detailed review because I don't want to mislabel these mousse cakes and spread incorrect information! But these were given to me by my wife for Valentine's Day and as you can see they're beautiful! Very light (like not filling, in a good way), not super sweet - kind of like a relatively guilt-free refined dessert with creative flavors. Great for special occasions or if you like to treat yourself because you just really like yourself, which is great. As you can see, there are different layers and compositions within these cakes. Some are mostly mousse and have sharper/tarter flavors, some are more cakey and are more subtle. But I enjoyed all of them a lot. We've also eaten here before, both pastry type items and lunch. This is just a nice locally owned cafe where you can get elevated quality food and desserts in a casual environment for a fair price. Their restaurant, Lele Kitchen, is superb and we've had a few special occasions there. Highly recommend that as well.

Gorgeous cafe, gorgeous food. I was attracted to this spot because I love light brunches, and it can be hard to find in a world that prefers heavy potato + cheese + meats in the morning! I loved the prosciutto and pear toast and the crepe with salmon. Yes, it is a bit pricey here. Luckily, the food is good enough that I won't complain about it. My party was the only Asian group there, and we were told to get our drinks at the front, despite the parties sitting next to us getting served their drinks at their tables. Of course, it could be a strange coincidence, but we couldn't help but feel a bit awkward about that. Hoping our next experience won't feel that way.

I had been to Lelé Cake and Lelé Kitchen many times. I loved everything they offered and was never disappointed. While I was too late to make a reservation at Lelé Kitchen before they're completely booked for Valentine's Day this year, I pre-ordered the Hearts Mousse Cakes (set of 4) from Lelé Cake for pickup yesterday. I arrived around 3pm, and they're very busy. I didn't mind waiting in line, though, as I could look at their decorations and various cakes/cookies. Their Valentine's Day decorations and cakes were beautiful. The 4 mousse cakes were just phenomenal (inside and outside)! Each of them had very unique and delightful flavors: . rich chocolate with tangy cherry . luscious pistachio with sweet strawberry . decadent chocolate apricot infused with aromatic Earl Grey tea . creamy raspberry & strawberry yogurt They're all so sophisticated, delicious, and only slightly sweet. Truly guilt-free indulgence. I couldn't decide which one I liked the most!

I thoroughly enjoyed this bakery! The location had plenty of parking. It's a quaint bakery with delectable desserts, cakes and breakfast fare. I enjoyed the Eastern European beet soup as well. The staff was patient and friendly as well. Needless to say that I will return again when I visit family.

Came to hang out with a friend and work on knitting projects. The ambiance is great, brownie was amazing and cherry lemonade delicious!

I've been going to this place since they opened and the quality of their food and drinks has stayed high to this day! There are definitely items on their menu I prefer, their savory waffles and toasts are delicious. I'm not a big meringue fan so I skip those, but their tarts and basque cheesecake are very tasty. I love their drinks as well. My favorite touch are the flower petals they dust on their waffles. It just gets me every time Earlier on they would get drink orders wrong but that isn't an issue anymore. Service has always been kind. I love working here, or dropping by on a day when I'm running errands locally whenever I can. I love how aesthetic the place is, they change their decorations for each holiday. The restroom is always clean and though I don't have kids and don't plan on ever having them, I love that it's clearly child friendly. I often bring friends from out of town here as it's such a gem The vibes are really wonderful. I hope they stay in business for a long time. I will have to try their restaurant next door for a special occasion!

Beautiful cafe, a weekly favourite for our family-- they have a lovely play area for littles, and their pastries are some of the best in the South Bay. Helpful and friendly staff

I visited Lele Cake with my son this past Saturday, and we absolutely fell in love with this place. The moment you walk in, it feels like an intimate, elegant French-style bakery -- classy, warm, and so inviting. The ambience alone makes you want to linger, but the food and coffee make it even better. Everything we tried tasted incredibly fresh and high-quality. You can tell they use great ingredients and make everything with care. We ordered the salmon and cream cheese crepe, a brown sugar miso latte, and my son had the chocolate éclair. All of it was delicious -- balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. This spot is perfect whether you're craving a sugary treat, something savory, or just a really good coffee. It's become one of my absolute favorite cafés to treat myself. Yes, it's a bit on the pricier side, but honestly worth every penny for the quality and experience. A total gem in the area. Highly recommend!

Delicious food & cozy ambiance! Whether you want to have a solo cafe day, brunch with the girlies, or a cute day with your partner, lele cake is such a cute place to chill at! I love the cute pastries they have on display in the front which I have yet to try. But I LOVE their smoked salmon here & I highly recommend this place for upscale brunch & drinks! The glass cups add such a nice flair too

Hey there Party People…read more I had heard of this place from friends so I decided to try it. I confused this place with another restaurant when I did my first review. So I want to set the record straight because Los Gatos Cafe was a really good experience. It's a small place but there are outside tables as well. You can order lunch at any time as well as breakfast. We started with Banana Chocolate Chip pancakes. Holy smokes they were the bomb. They had a ton of fresh bananas inside as well as a nice amount of chocolate chips on top. I had the Hot Turkey and Pear sandwich. I know the combo sounds weird but it was super tasty. The pear added crunch and sweetness to the sandwich. There was also a good dose of grilled onions to go with the owie gooey cheese....yum. Hubby had the Granite Flank Steak Sandwich . It was smothered in Gorgonzola cheese with a good portion of Flank Steak. The steak was tender and well seasoned. It was the perfect flavor bite. So going to add this place to the frequent flier list. Be kind to one another

The staff were all friendly and attentive. Service was quick. I ordered the chorizo Benedict. The chorizo was meaty and had a good spice to it but the eggs were definitely undercooked and on the watery side. The dish also seemed to be put together a little haphazardly as most of the fixings were half off the English muffin. I liked the potatoes but do wish they were crisper. I tried a good variety of the menu, Shrimp & Grits, Pulled Pork Benedict, Chicken & Waffles, Banana Nutella Churro Waffle, and Cornbread and Coffee cake. I've had grits a few times in the past and have never really liked them before, that was until these! The Shrimp & Grits was actually a highlight! The shrimp were cooked perfectly and there was a good portion of them. Really flavorful dish. Other favorite was the Pulled Pork Benedict and Chicken & Waffles. Great portions and flavor on each. The Banana Nutella Churro Waffle was a little decadent and sweet for me, but I would've loved that dish when I was younger, and probably could've eaten the whole thing too. Service was friendly and food didn't take long to come out. Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating, we opted for inside this time, but would definitely pick outside on a nice day!

If you're hoping to sit inside, I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. The service was wonderful from start to finish. My friend and I both ordered the smash burger and I've got to say it was easily one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned so well. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. And whatever you do, DO NOT skip the bread pudding. It was a 1000/10! Our server was Therese who took excellent care of us. She was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Also, the manager came around to check up on us, to make sure we didn't have last calls right before the kitchen closed. That was considerate. We decided on ordering the... Grilled Pork Chop: bourbon marinated grilled peach compote, peach, red onion & tomato salad (4/5). The presentation was gorgeous. A Sous vide pork chop with grill marks cooked to a medium temperature. Savory and complemented with the tangy, spicy, and tart salad. A tad heavy handed on the salt for the sauce, otherwise, it was still delicious. Gnocchi Ragu: lamb bolognese, pecorino (4/5). The meat sauce was delicious. The gnocchi itself was sizeable and decent. Fries (4/5) - medium shoe string cut fries that were hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned. So fresh and right out of the deep fryer. Parkside Bread Pudding: vanilla gelato, pecan praline (4/5). This was delicious. Therese was told by the kitchen staff that they unfortunately ran out of the pecan praline when she brought it out. Though, it was still decadent and divine. Therese even brought us a complimentary beignets for a birthday celebration. We will be back! Generous amounts of chicken breast in the chicken pesto crepe and the sauce is just right - tasty and mouth watering, without being salty or too rich. I've been here a few times, and I honestly don't know why I haven't reviewed this place yet…read more The moment you walk into Manresa Bread, you're greeted right away. The space has a modern yet warm feel with beautiful natural wood finishes, fresh loaves of sourdough lining the shelves, pastries displayed in the case, and a mix of large communal wood tables, regular seating, and high-top tables. It's the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The staff was friendly and helped us choose both a pastry and our toast. They were also happy to customize our order--we asked for the levain sourdough toast with butter instead of the usual olive oil. That toast was absolutely divine. The sourdough had the perfect balance: chewy without being too sour, with a crust that was crisp but not so hard that it fought back. Easily the best sourdough toast I've had in the Bay Area. If you come here, this is the one thing you have to order. The only disappointment was the butter. They serve French butter, but for an extra $2, the portion was tiny and honestly nothing special. I've had better butter from Whole Foods. It didn't take away from how incredible the bread was, but it wasn't worth the upcharge. Their Kouign-amann is also one of the best I've ever had. Instead of the typical flat, flaky style, theirs is taller with countless buttery layers that create an amazing texture. The cappuccino was another highlight. It had subtle notes of orange peel, whiskey, and cardamom, making it unique. The latte art was beautiful too. Overall, Manresa Bread is one of those cafés that makes you want to sit down with a laptop or a book and spend a few hours there. The only downside is there are no power outlets, so come with a full battery if you're planning to work. Must orders: Levain sourdough toast with butter and the Kouign-amann. Both are worth the trip.
