Stopped in after a walk around town for a coffee. We got a friendly greeting from the staff and was helped immediately. There are ad few tables inside and a small covered patio with a couple of tables. Iced americano was smooth and delicious. The iced matcha sweetened with a bit of strawberry was amazing! Drink was pretty good. The rest was less than interesting. Staff kept messing up my order when I clearly said Iced Espresso. They left my drink without ice and rarely any oat milk on it. Stopped by Café Dio for a quick pick-me-up and tried the vanilla latte--super smooth and just the right amount of sweetness. You can tell they care about their coffee. I was in the area and needed to kill time until my appointment. I looked for nearby cafes and chose Cafe Dio because it's one I haven't been to before. I got to Cafe Dio around 9pm and found the cute, simple spot on a corner off Main St. It wasn't particularly busy that Saturday morning. I was helped immediately by the friendly barista and got my order shortly after ordering. My soy latte was solid, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the veggie burrito was. They finally reopened after new ownership/remodeling. Equipment looks good, Verve coffee is ok. Good offering of pastries. I cringe when I see a barista pouring foam with a spoon, seriously Watch some YouTube training videos. Latte art is not essential if you're not into it but shows passion for the craft. Came here a Sunday morning for a nice cup of coffee. I read some other comments about the price of coffee here being too expensive but I think $4.50 for a cup of coffee outside is pretty normal nowadays. I got the cardamom latte and it was delicious. They add a house made vanilla syrup in it also. The also shake some cardamom on the lip of the mug so you get a taste of the cardamom in every sip. The place is small inside and has some seating in the front. The morning light that hit the cafe was nice so it felt warm on that cold Jan day. Loved this spot! Conveniently located across the street from Hotel Los Gatos, our weekend getaway spot. We came here each day for a morning latte and the breakfast wraps. We tried a couple different types- all were delicious. Our go to was the Homer, but the spinach wrap was delicious as well. We encountered that they sell out pretty quickly each day. This is a small cafe with a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. I went on a Sunday around lunch time and there was plenty of seating available, including a decently sized outdoor patio with a roof. The barista was friendly and patient. I had a strawberry matcha latte and it was very good; not too sweet! I also had their Greek yogurt, which was the best I've ever had, and a raspberry scone. This small, however very cute cafe is located at on a street corner across from the Los Gatos Hotel and the Los Gatos HS. It has a beautiful seating area that overlooks the HS. The indoor area is smaller and is well decorated with wooden tables and furnishing. Was so excited to finally try this place. Walked up to grab 2 coffees for myself and my partner. And the employee working there walked right up to the door and turned the closing sing in front of my face. We exchanged and look and she closed the door. It was honestly bizarre. They were still technically OPEN. For another 20 mins? Just weird. Tip to management: do not "close" a business early in front of someone's face. It's disappointing to go into an establishment in a beautiful neighborhood that has staff who do not want to be there. I had to walk up to greet the staff. You can tell they like down time. Being a Saturday at 12:00 noon, I was in an amazing mood until I had to interact with these employees. Depressing radio head music in the background on a sunny day... come on. They had no cold brew. They didn't offer any replacement. A girl rudely commanded I take my 9 pound service dog whom was in my arms outside. Note- California law. You must ask first if this is a service dog. Super cute coffee shop in Los Gatos. The inside is gorgeous. I love the wooden aesthetic with the lush, green backdrop. If I needed to get a lot of work done, this would be a great place to do that. The drinks are super good too! I recommend the chai latte. Unfortunately, I have to give a low rating because the service here has been consistently awful. I understand if a server was having a hard day, but it just seems like I am greeted with hostility every time I am here. I can push past it, but my final straw was when my server got irritated at me for asking for ice. For context, when I orderer my chai latte, I forgot to mention that I wanted it iced instead of hot (but also, shouldn't they ask me when I am placing my order?) No big deal, it was totally my fault for not being clear, so I asked the short blonde girl if I could have a separate cup of ice so that I could add it myself without hindering them. This barista looked at me angrily and scooped the ice with so much hostility. It was such a small request, and it wasn't even like I asked her to remake the drink for me! Yes ! Verve coffee is served here yay! Went on a busy Saturday and didn't realize it's so far from the main strip. No problem since the place had ample seating and bonus is seating outside too. Immediately when you stop by, you notice how nice the decor is, even from the outside! There is quite a bit of greenery, and the chairs and benches are all wood based. I can certainly imagine coming here to work if not for Covid. I got the cold brew coffee, and to be frank, it tasted like any normal cold brew. I'm not a coffee connoisseur by any means though. I would say the caffeine kick was very strong, and certainly took me by surprise. My friend got the dark chocolate mocha, and I was quite surprised. There was a floral taste to it, and it was not too sweet as expected of dark chocolate. I enjoyed my sip of it, and my friend really liked it as well! This is one of my definite favorite destination spot when I am either in the mood for chilling on a morning coffee on weekends or having a quick client meeting. The quality of their coffee is awesome, and the atmosphere is fundamentally quiet and is located in a slightly secluded spot from the more crowded Los Gatos avenue/street thus as long as I don't hit the crowded hours there are always a seat or two. Also, I always enjoy chatting with one the staffs as they seem to have common hobbies with me as an avid follower of classic rock music. I really really miss this place as I had been out of town (country to be specific) for more than a year and would love to be back here to enjoy their coffee again.. :-( read more

If I could give this place a 10/5, I would. This spot is legit the best coffee spot in the area. My boyfriend and I went here on a whim and was hopeful that it was a sister company/expansion of @dio_deka , since we absolutely loooooved eating there a couple years back (oh it's even better than @kokkarisf ) too. Lots of comparisons when you get to this level of Michelin rated restaurants. Anyhoo, this place looks like it is indeed tied together with @dio_deka. They didn't have their full selection of Greek drinks up and running yet, so instead got the White Mocha with Oatmilk. This drink MADE MY FREAKING MORNING! You know, the "holy cannoli, I just found a freaking gem and can't believe it's accessible-type feeling?" Yeah, that type of morning. It was soooo darn good that I'm sipping the last bits of it as we speak and wanting more. The espresso was fresh-Turkish like and did not at all have the bitter coffee aftertaste or watered down or too sweet, cheap taste many other small-down wanna-be uppity places are. The milk was frothy and had tight air bubbles so the richness proceeded to engulf my palette with every sip. The poor gentleman was working by himself, but he did an excellent job in delivering the perfect cup of white mocha. I cannot and will not stop talking about this place. It has amazing vibes, located across the street from @dio_deka , but don't be fooled as the drinks and oh did i mention the freshly, thick, non-overly sweet Greek yogurt parfait they have on hand are divine! Do not skip this place if you're ever in the area. This is a coffee/foodie person's best bet for the best coffee in town. Thank you @cafe.dio in Los Gatos. My guy ended up getting the same drink but with regular 2% milk, and still... he raved about the taste just as much. He also agreed that there was no bitter taste at the end, no weird dry and nasty aftertaste... we may just very well become regulars, so it still remains a 5/5. read more
