Surprise side order of bread
Stacy C.

I lived in Campbell for a short time 30 years ago, and Luigi's was my go to place for pizza. Their pizza was scrumptious and they kindly made me personal size pizzas that weren't on the menu. For some reason I haven't been there in ... 30 years. Had the Super Baked Rigatoni delivered tonight. It arrived piping hot and was so delicious. I really liked the Italian sausage on top and the penne inside. It was very filling, so I saved half for tomorrow. They included bread with my order, which was a nice surprise. The bread was soft and chewy, but it didn't have any butter or garlic on it. Just plain bread. If it was supposed to be garlic bread, I couldn't taste it. I'd like to go back to the restaurant someday and see if it still looks like it did 30 years ago and try more of their pasta.

Very yummy!! Visited w the best company and found a pretty casual looking italian diner. We ordered a mushroom pesto pizza, baked rigatoni, and linguini with vodka sauce and they were all so great!

Baked Rigatoni

A homey and authentic casual Italian restaurant. I love trying new pasta places; came across this one while browsing on Yelp and it didn't disappoint. You order at a counter before sitting down, and our food was brought to us fairly quickly. The restaurant isn't a fancy one. I came at a quiet time but I can imagine it being lively and a fun casual dinner spot for friends or family. I ordered the sausage and chicken linguine with vodka sauce, and it was pretty good. The chicken and sauce could be more flavorful, but I still enjoyed it. My partner ordered the baked rigatoni and enjoyed it as well. I would say the pastas are nothing out of this world, but they were comforting and simple. I really enjoyed the garlic bread, I'd say that was my favorite part of the meal. Prices aren't cheap (somewhere around $20 per dish?) but the portions are decent-sized. I'd love to come back again to try other pastas and the pizzas!

This review is for their Sausage and Chicken Linguine with Vodka Sauce. I saw past positive reviews for this dish, so I had high expectations. I was a little disappointed. The sauce and the chicken lacked flavor. Sausage was good though. Serving size was also smaller than other pictures posted. I ordered it to go and ate it at work. I didn't eat much of it, but I took the rest home. I added some heat, salt, and cheese, which made it better.

Very bad experience of delivery leaking box The pizza typing in the box it looks like they dropped in floor and hand it to deiver

Is 5 stars even enough for this place? Seriously! The most vintage, family friendly place ever. We had our son's 16th surprise party here and they exceeded expectations. We rented the private room for 3 hours. It was the perfect size. They helped me a couple days before with determining how much food to order. Everyone LOVED their pizzas and salads! The owners were the friendliest people ever! We felt so welcomed and attended to. Thank you Luigis for everything! Definitely coming back again!

I was feeling a like some Italian today so I decided to try out this old fashion Italian little Ristorante Luigi's with very good authentic style Italian food. I had the Chicken Pesto and Salami Pizza and have also tried the Creamy Chicken Garlic and Ham. Both were excellent and Muy Bueno Pizza's. The menu is deep of choices from the Pizza's to the Sandwiches to the Pasta to the Stromboli and Spaghetti and the Vino- Wine and beers they have. The place is cozy and looks like it has the special rooms for the FAMILIA type of events. I suggest you check them out. They also have a coffee room - Luigi's Cafe. I met Joe and he was very service oriented and respectful a true professional and family type of personality. They have been around since 1985. In a big shopping center with a bunch of different types of merchants. I even saw some theatre cinema next to them. Check out the menu. I will be back with friends and family. Easy to get to with major streets and freeway access.

Luigi's was a great option for pizza. The pesto chicken was really good. It was a bit greasy but that was expected because it was pesto and the melted cheese. I also tried the chicken Alfredo, which was pretty standard. I felt like it could use some more salt but everything is to taste, so I just added what was right for me. The restaurant is self serve so you order and you get your own drinks and napkins, etc. They bring the food to the table however which is nice. They are pretty quick about getting the orders out. I went with a group of 6 people and we all had our meals within 20 minutes.

Great Spot for Families! We had a great experience here. The service was friendly, and our food came out quickly--just 12 minutes! There was plenty of room for our family, and it felt kid-friendly, which is always a plus. The pizza tasted great too. Definitely a solid place to bring the family for a casual meal.

Complementary Garlic Bread

Both the lasagna and 3 meat Alfredo penne pasta were delicious! Service was so friendly and prompt. They brought us a sample of the pizza which we will try next time. Garlic bread was also delicious. Definitely good quality food at a reasonable price point. It has a nice casual mom and pop ambience! I recommend for anyone in the Campbell area.

Came here for the second time before a movie. The pizza is pretty good. We got a veggie pizza and added jalapeno's. The toppings are ample and the crust is nice. If we were to order again, we would request extra crispy as the center was watery. We got the chicken pesto and it was average. Not a strong pesto flavor but the portion is good size. I wouldn't order chicken again. It was small cubed pieces that seemed as if they might have been frozen at some point. The garlic bread is probably their strongest contender. Soft and tasty. My biggest problem and why I would only get takeout is they were cleaning the kitchen while we were eating and the cleaner was so strong, I had to get out asap. It was making me physically ill and on the edge of vomiting. :( Even if I didn't have sensitivity to odors, I don't think anyone likes to smell chemicals while they are eating. It doesn't allow you to taste the food at all. I guess the positive is the place is probably clean but I can't risk getting a migraine or getting ill from it. It is very loud in the place even with only a few people and the kitchen staff going back and forth with a cart of dishes clanking as he goes over the carpet (3 times in the 40 minutes we were there) was less than pleasant. The place is very old school and very 'rough around the edges'. You grab your own forks, plastic plates, and super thin napkins. It's a good place for families I'm sure because of the portion sizes and prices, just know what you're getting into when going. They seem very nice so I'm torn with a not so great review, but I think honesty is the only way restaurants can know opinions and try retain customers.

Chicken Alfredo

Absolute best pasta, best fettuccine Alfredo, better than Cheesecake Factory, better than maggianos. My mom has been taking us here since I was a kid and she was coming here when she was a kid too. The pasta is authentic. It's an Italian family owned business with their family recipe of pastas and pizza. Inside is the cutest and transports you to the streets of Italy. Love coming here as a date, with family, or even getting to go. I've got my husband to love this place just as much. It's our pasta place now :) Their chicken Alfredo is the best - it's perfectly creamy, thick sauce, their bread is fresh soft and buttery paired so well with the pastas. I also enjoy the carbonara pasta or the chicken pesto. So many good options.

Linguini with Clams
Selena S.

This is my favorite pasta spot, beats any fancy Italian restaurant for me. Any pasta dish here is delicious. The linguini is perfectly al dente, but not too hard, and the calms are shucked so it's easy to enjoy this heart felt pasta. The baked rigatoni is cheesy and saucy and has lots of sausage and meat. Every order comes with free breadsticks, and these are the fluffiest breadsticks ever. This is a family owned business, the service is good, and the overall vibe feels homey. Don't forget to bring cash to avoid the $1 credit card fee.

We were sat right away, menus already on the table with a separate daily special menu. Our server asked if we wanted anything tho drink? (Water and lemon please) she walked away and water & lemon were brought to our table. About 5 minutes later she came back and asked if we were ready to order? She didn't ask if we had any questions or even told us about the days specials, she never came by to ask us if we wanted more water (which we did, wifey had to ask her) she didn't ask us if we needed anything or if the food was good (heck she didn't even ask if we wanted dessert!!! I was like what the heck! I wanted the tiramisu, but since she walked away, I said, screw it,) and when I paid the bill she asked me if I wanted a printed receipt? and I said yes " guess what she never gave it to me so I had to go upfront and ask for the printed receipt" (sorry no tip for you) i'm not the type of guy who arbitrarily gives tips just because you believe it's customary. When they don't work for them, I don't give them. " This server either needs to be retrained or the management needs to get their heads out of there You know what, such a shame because the food is excellent. Doppio Zero give me a reason to come back. Great food and bad service = 2 stars " service is just as important as the food" FOOD: 5 Stars I ordered the calamari for an appetizer and the fried calzone, wifey ordered the homemade spinach ravioli. The calamari came within five minutes, they were lightly bartered, crispy and succulent. The red sauce the give you is definitely homemade and has a sweet basil forward flavor "sooo good" The fried calzone honestly shocked me, it was basically a whole pizza folded in half, it was huge! The ricotta cheese was a very nice touch it melded well with the basil. (Creamy rich, decadent.) definitely the best calzone I have ever had. The homemade spinach ravioli with wild mushrooms came with a garlic white sauce. The ravioli melts in your mouth with pure decadence, the flavor is simply out of this world. dessert? We never got a menu and the server, never asked.

I went on a Sunday afternoon post-church, and it was pretty slammed lots of kids and football fans. I actually had to ask someone to wipe down a table for us, so definitely a "help yourself" kind of vibe. My friend and I had a bit of a communication breakdown. I was thinking a light salad; he was thinking beer and pizza. Since they don't do wine by the glass, I ended up with a $17 mini bottle. It was okay, but $17 for a single-serve is a stretch, not exactly a wine lover's paradise. The food was a mixed bag. The pizza was definitely the star; you can tell it's made with love and not some big-box chain stuff. The salad was fresh, but the chicken was pretty bland. I didn't mind it, but my friend was not impressed. Between the wine and the lack of listening on his part, even with my coupon, the bill hit $71 for a pizza, a salad, and a tiny bottle of wine.
