Just picked up pizza from here and it HIT. It was not just any pizza either, it was pickle pizza! I had a very good one at the Texas State Fair so the bar was set high and Craving Pizza didn't miss the mark. The presentation was perfect and the delicious salty/crunchy pickles really compliment the Alfredo. We also got wings and fries, the fries were very tasty and the wings are healthier because they bake them. The service was also excellent. My pizza was ready right on time and so fresh. My jalapeño ranch was forgotten and the guy (I think the owner) came running after me. There are a few seats inside and lots of drink options. Lots of vegetarian options! read more

I was really craving pickle pizza after having it while traveling a couple years ago. This was the only place that came up when I typed "pickle pizza" so I came to try it. I ordered for pickup over the phone and my order was ready within 25 minutes. The owner was there working and he was really nice! This is the best pickle pizza I've had. Just picked up my first pie from Craving Pizza--the butter chicken pizza. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Indian-style pizza, so I went in with tempered expectations. The pizza is excellent--so good that I had one slice and immediately came to write this review. The warm slice had soft, gooey cheese, well-cooked chicken, just the right amount of veggies, and a perfectly golden crust. The butter chicken flavor really comes through without overpowering the pizza. Saw this place a few time while driving by. Decided to try it out. Got a couple of pizzas and garlic cheese sticks. Our order came out fairly quickly. The crust was crunchy on the outside and soft inside. To top it off they add sesame seeds to the crust which gives it a unique flavor. Kids loved their half cheese half pepperoni. No pun intended--I was genuinely craving pizza on a Sunday evening. This happened to be one of the few pizza places that was opening late at night that was not any of the larger multinational joints. I ordered the Large pizza with Tandoori Chicken and Italian Sausage (*$17) as part of a special deal. *Craving Pizza does many deals, which you can find on their website. I really liked the sesame seeds on the crust and the generous amount of meat toppings. Beyond that, it's a solid, affordable pizza--nothing particularly groundbreaking, but good value for the price. I wished my tandoori chicken was less dry. If you happen to have leftovers, I'd recommend taking them home and adding your own extra toppings or sauces. We've been to Craving Pizza a few times now and it's a great spot for desi-style pizza. Tried the Peri Peri, Creamy Butter, and Tandoori Chicken, all super flavorful and different from your usual pizza place. The shop is pretty small (only about 3 tables), so not a ton of seating. The crust isn't my favorite, but the toppings make up for it. Only downside is we always ask for no sesame crust and they keep forgetting . Prices are a little on the higher side too. Service is good, the owner usually runs the place and serves, which gives it a nice personal touch. Good pizza. I really like the tomato sauce on the pepperoni. I think the pepperoni was better than the chicken pesto because the pesto flavor did not seem very strong, the pizza for the chicken pesto seemed a bit dry like it was light on sauce. The regular crust is a bit more doughy and the thin crust is a bit more hard. Overall though the pizza is good and I like the slice size for the small pizza. Received a mailer recently with some deals for this spot that I pass by on a daily basis. So when it came time for pizza night with the fam, I knew a place we could try! Even as a millennial I realized ordering over the phone was much easier, and the order linked with the Toast account I had created on their website prior to calling. I tried a new place named Craving Pizza located at 1111 Meridian Ave, Ste 2, San Jose, CA 95125 This is primarily a take out place with a huge menu to select from including 20 different pizzas. There are a few tables and chairs and the restaurant is very clean, including the kitchen. Delivery is available through their website. Now for the food! I had the small beef and bacon pizza, zaatar manakeesh (Persian bread sticks), and a Greek salad. The WOW factor was totally unexpected! The portion size was impressive but the pizza was unlike anything I have ever tasted. The crust was a special recipe with sesame seeds on the crust and tasted amazing! The selection of pizzas was impressive and the sides available were garlic cheese sticks, potato wedges to chicken wings. They even have desserts! I'm definitely coming back as it is one of the finest pizza I've ever had! I don't want to forget their fabulous Craving Deal specials which can really save you a lot of money, especially the party special deal. This was my and my son's first time here. Sammy welcomed us in and took our order. I got the Peri-Peri Pizza. I'm always up to trying something different and I like anything with spice. My son got the Pepperoni Pizza with additional bacon. You also have the option to place your order from the kiosk. The place is small, very bright and colorful. There is one table for four and a table for two. There are also tables outside to share with Togo's. We sat outside to wait for our food since it was a warm and beautiful day. I guess business was picking up and luckily we scored a table right as another party had been walking out the door. There are also outdoor seating options too for those who like vitamin D with thier pizza! The digital menu showcased 18 different styles of pizza to choose from and if that wasn't enough, you can customize your own toppings too! I'm not going to lie; my review of Craving Pizza actually starts in the car. It took me a solid three drive-bys to even figure out the name of the place, and I'm not entirely convinced I wasn't just guessing by the third pass. The logo, bless its heart....... Is that a pizza slice? A misshapen heart? A confused amoeba? The typography is so wildly ambitious, it seems to be in a competition with itself to see how unreadable it can be. As someone who appreciates good design, I have to say, this particular design choice feels less like a logo and more like a riddle. I was genuinely tempted to pull over and offer a full brand redesign on the spot, but my stomach was making a much more compelling argument to just get inside and eat. The regular pizza was... well, it was just okay. It was the kind of pizza you eat when you're hungry, and then you don't think about it again for the rest of your life. It didn't have that life-changing "this is why I don't work out" flavor, but it also wasn't bad enough to inspire a fiery social media rant. It existed. It was pizza. A solid B-. Maybe a C+ on a day when I've had better lunch options. It was a perfectly adequate, completely forgettable piece of dough, cheese, and sauce. Then came the grand finale: the s'mores pizza. Oh, the humanity. I went in with such high hopes, picturing a molten, gooey masterpiece of chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker goodness. It lacked the a rich, ooey-gooey texture that makes a s'more a s'more. The chocolate wasn't melty, the marshmallow was more of a marshmallow suggestion than an actual presence, and honestly, the whole thing felt like it had given up on its own dream. It didn't just miss my expectations; it drove right past them, gave a casual wave, and kept going. It was a tragic tale on a crust. However, amidst the wreckage of a confusing logo and a disappointing dessert, there was one hero: the ghost pepper sauce. Let me tell you, that stuff was fantastic. It was spicy, but in a "I can still feel my lips" kind of way, not a "my mouth is on fire and I'm reconsidering all my life choices" kind of way. It had a really great flavor and a kick that actually made the okay pizza a little more interesting. I could probably put that sauce on anything and be happy. So, in conclusion: the pizza was meh, the dessert was a letdown, and the logo is in desperate need of an intervention. But the ghost pepper sauce? That sauce should have its own fan club and a much better-looking logo. read more

This time, I decided to try the Greek Pizza and the build your own pizza, and the wings. Everything was really good! The sesame crust is unique and was a nice touch. First of all, the quality of the pizza has always been great each time we've ordered from here - whether it's a specialty pickle pizza, Nutella & marshmallow pizza, or something more traditional. We came with family visiting from out of town to get our order today, and the first thing they said was a comment on how clean the restaurant is. It's not small or "quaint" like some pick-up places are - It felt spacious and colorful. But my favorite part (and what prompted me to leave this review) was my interaction with the staff. I'm not sure if the person I met today was the owner or not, but they were very kind and took the time to converse with us and get to know us and even offered us to try a dipping sauce we hadn't tried before. And there's some good, and really hardworking people here. I got a large Peri-Peri Chicken Pizza this Friday Night. This is one beautiful Pizza Pie. It arrived straight outta the Oven scorching Hot. There's so much contrast in textures, and flavors. It was a flavor explosion, bursting with flavor. And the Crust, was phenomenal. This isn't the style that I'm used to; nevertheless, I really enjoyed it. I like their Modern interpretation of this Pizza. I gotta give them some points, for originality. And I like how they're up and running late Nights, until 12 AM, not a lot of Shops around here close at Midnight. This was the second time trying this spot, and will probably be the last. The pizza is fine. It isn't great and it isn't bad. The pizza crust has sesame seeds, so in case you have picky kids like me, may want to request they skip those. It also reheats almost like a cracker. No soft doughy crust here - which is my preference. The location is small and brightly lit, with some tables for dining in, but it's cramped. We ordered pick up so that wasn't an issue for us. Our wait time was frustrating because it was not communicated accurately. However, once it was ready, one of the guys quickly brought it out to us and was very friendly. The other guy working there wiped his nose on the back of his hand continuously, and I can only hope he wasn't the one preparing our pizza. It gives some extra crunchiness to the crust part, which is the best moment of finishing a slice of pizza. Everytime I come, the pick up is always on time, and who I assume to be the owner is friendly and suggesting me to try different pizza. Online ordering is easy.
