My cousin wanted pizza for dinner so my wife and I decided to take him here since we tried other pizza places around our area and wanted something different. We ordered the 20 wings, 10 plain and 10 tandoori. Both were really good. The wings came out really hot and very juicy and tender. We had to wait for it to cool down a little bit. The tandoori had a really good flavor and the wings were baked and not fried. The plain one was really good too. Recommend getting their wings. We didn't know what toppings to get for our pizza and ended up getting the traditional western style. We got half combination and half garlic chicken. We didn't know how big the pizza was and ordered the extra large. When it came out, we were shocked how big it was. The bottom crust was cooked to our liking where it was thing and crispy and not doughy. The ingredients were fresh and we had to hold the pizza from each end so some of the toppings do not fall off. They use the right amount of sauce where we were able to taste the toppings and breading more than the sauce which I preferred. Of course we couldn't finish the pizza and had to take it to go. But it was a good thing since our kids could have the leftover. Our boys don't like many toppings on their pizza but they really liked it when we brought it home. I would recommend getting a medium or large if it's just for 2-4 people. They have a few different beer on tap ranging from IPA to lager to wheat. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. It was not crowded when we went. The husband and wife that run the place were very nice and helpful. They didn't mind that we took our time to decide what type of pizza we wanted. They were very sociable. The place also sold soap which my wife love the smell and ended up buying 3 bars from them. I went in to get some takeout pizza, very clean facility, television for sports, lots of tables and space, (also a very cool kiosk kind of thing with fresh made soaps n such, and such at the register! The pizza was excellent. I am definitely going back. That parking lot can fill up, it depends what time of day or night you're there, but otherwise there is generally parking. I last rated Bossman's six years ago, just before the pandemic. So much has happened since then. One thing hasn't changed though; their pizza and service haven't gotten any less excellent. It is kind of strange now - I go into the store on a Sunday at lunchtime with my daughters, and the place is empty; nobody dines in anymore, but is fun having the whole restaurant to ourselves. Lots of takeout orders come in and out though. The owners and staff are still wonderful to us dining in, the restaurant is immaculate, the pizza is at least tied for best in San Jose, but their secret weapon is really their wings - American or Indian style. A neighborhood's favorite. My favorite is the double pepperoni with basil in thin or regular crust. You really get a lot of pepperoni and the basil added some freshness. Staff is always nice and friendly, and the pizzas are prepared on time and exactly as order. It's a small family business so it's quaint inside. This place is hella cool, i have only had the burgers so far though. I had the Bossman Burger, pretty good and the Double Cheese Burger which was alright. The prices is what you cant really beat though ya know. The Bossman at the counter when i was there and he was a really great guy. They have hella vegetarian options even Vegan items as well. I really come here to support the local neighborhood business though. Great owners, im currently working my way through the menu. I havent yet but i would ask for the fries to be double fried as they are not crunch to say the least, but the flavor is there. They have 7 TV's too which they have all the big games on too. I love this place. Came across it wilst going thru a tough time. And I was really taken a back by the outrageous delicious fusion of flavors. That Indian garlic bread is out of this world and their pizza! Traditional or Indian it's simply amazing and always loaded up with toppings. The fam is so nice. Their always kind and helpful. I've been here twice, both times we got Indian-style pizzas that were super delicious. The first pizza was half palak paneer, half paneer tikka masala. Second pizza was half palak paneer, half tandoori paneer. All variations were great but we preferred the second combo. I'm not usually a thin crust person but I really enjoyed it here, especially combined with the toppings. The pizzas were flavorful and had the perfect amount of sauce. I've been to other Indian pizza places that put too much sauce and not enough cheese/toppings, so it ends up tasting like just naan and curry. This place exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is that there's no option for a half/half Indian style pizza on the online ordering site, so we had to order in person. Amazing pizza and amazing service! I came in on Christmas Eve after some last minute shopping and grabbed a medium Meat Lover's and the cheesy garlic bread, and MY GOODNESS!! It was delicious! I have grown up/lived in the area a majority of my life, and remember when this location was Mountain Mike's previously (one of my fave pizza joints) and the pizza they serve here now is top tier, honestly better than MM's, lol. I love Indian/vegan pizza as well, so it's nice to know the options are there when I'm having a craving. The owner, Bossman and his wife Preeti (I apologize if I butchered the spelling) are very warm and inviting. I grabbed a late(r) night snack with a friend from here and wasn't disappointed! We were looking for vegan options and she recommended Bossman's. There was lots of parking when I pulled in, and it was easy to spot the place. Service was great, the employee at the register was very friendly and got my order ready pretty quick. I ordered online and it was ready to pick up a few minutes after I got there. I got two vegan garlic breads with cheese, and they tasted great flavor wise! It was a little softer/gooier than I would have preferred it, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. They have a lot of vegan pizza options if you're interested, and vegan wing options too! The first time I had the chicken tikka masala and the last time I had their chili chicken. Warning! If you ask for heavy on the spicy level, it will be spicy! Both my chicken tikka and chili chicken pizza was spicy. I didn't need to add red pepper flakes on top. Even though the pizzas were spicy, it did not overwhelm the herbs and spices from the chicken. Bossman's Pizza on Capitol Expy, in San Jose, is by far my favorite place to eat! They have the best vegan options for both my gf and myself! It's always a challenge finding good vegan food that doesn't contain any nuts, as I have a severe allergy. However Bossman's Pizza has an entire vegan menu with the most delicious pizza, buffalo wings and my absolute favorite must try item is the jalapeño garlic cheesy bread, you genuinely have to try it! You will be amazed! Super friendly and helpful staff, they honestly made my year and especially my day so much better! It's a super cute restaurant, with good inside seating and lighting. Cajun spicy chicken wings and Paneer Tikka Masala Pizza are the 2 must try things at this place. Cajun spicy wings feel kind of fried but it's packed with so much flavor! Just the right amount of heat and super juicy. So much better than the tangy tandoori chicken wings. And the paneer tikka masala pizza is a crowd favorite. We ordered the cheeseburger pizza, meat lovers pizza and hot wings. It's actually better than I expected it to be-- the toppings and combo were all tasty but the only thing I didn't care for was the crust. I never received a notification that my pizza was ready., I walked in and checked on the status. We ordered The combo and a tandoori chicken pizza. The pizzas were fine. Nothing to rave about. The crust is different, it's like a really bread-y thin crust is the only way I could describe it. The combo was ok, all of the toppings were there, but it just didn't have that pizza taste where you have the fragrances of meat from the cooked/caramelized oils. The tandoori chicken was tasty, there was a white sauce that almost tasted like ranch which was a little strange.
