Gee, I don't know what happened here. I was thinking it might be a one-off. I stopped by the pizzeria twice to speak to the manager or owner, but he was not there. I dislike having to write a negative review on any establishment related to Italy! I read the reviews, so I was expecting a thick crust, crisp on the bottom with ample topping. When I received my large pizza I noticed it seemed quite small. I asked the pizzaiolo if he had accidentally prepared a medium. He said not. Upon serving it at home to the family, it was unanimously rejected. My feeling was that the pizza maker had indeed used a large ball of dough, but did not stretch it out to the full round of a large. All the large topping was piled on top, literally piled. It's a convenient pizzeria for me, so I was sorry about this faillure. read more

Horrible pizza that we ordered through door dash. 35.99 for a medium thin crust extra cheese with onions, mushroom and black olives. Part of the soggy pizza had nothing on it and there was only a few, like three pieces of mushroom, barely any onion but decent amount of olives. The cheese was not double either. Found this place on YELP. Almaden Valley south San Jose. Where the rich and famous live. LOL!! Hijole!! First time here and I will be back for many visits. The menu was splendid with many choices for our cravings. I decided the #5 All Pro today and took the small size. I had to take the last two slices home. It filled me up for the day until tomorrow. Met Andrew and his cook Jorge and they took care of me with First Class service. The cook brought me some Jalapeno's and Paremesan cheese and Ranch Dressing to handle my taste buds. Could not ask for anything more. The all you can drink fountain was right across from my table. So I had a couple of refills without having to pay. The salad bar was beautiful and pretty big for those of us looking for the side dishes. Inside seats were perfect for those of us Physically challenged. As I sit here right now, arriving at 11:30 when they open it is now 12 o'clock and I'm still waiting for my pizza. This is the most ridiculous weight and most inconsiderate facility. I've been to in a long time. They are serving everybody that has made online orders, but not even attending to two people that are sitting in their restaurant. This is a mess. There are only two people working in the entire kitchen. A waitress and a chef that's taking it all on. I advise not to attend this location. It is a hot mess. I really liked this place! Went after church so a sunday at 12pm. It wasnt busy at all and food came at a normal speed. We got half and half another topping. I got pepperoni, salami, and garlic. The only reason that I went to Legends Pizza was because it gave extra points on one of my airline dining apps. Oh my goodness am I glad I found this place!! I ordered the Korean BBQ pizza for carryout. Korean BBQ sauce, white onions, Bulgogi beef topped with green onions, cilantro and spicy mayo. It comes on thin crust but I ordered thick, a really good call. The pizza was coming out of the oven when I walked in from my 10 minute drive. I was offered disposable tableware - I don't know if I've ever been offered plates before. I did get the mayo on the side which worked out well when I reheated the leftovers. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I've had some pretty good pizza lately but this blew the others away. This is definitely going to be a mainstay when I visit San Jose. I ordered the large - I'm not sure if the 8 slices would have been enough for 4 hungry adults but it worked for the two of us and two hungry toddlers. Like I said, service was quick, the staff friendly. The restaurant was easy to find - in the middle of a small strip with ample parking. So living nearby a great pizza place is definitely a good thing! First time there I tried the Korean BBQ...when you take your first bite it's as if you've never had a pizza before! The combination of flavors is wonderful and very unusual for pizza...not pineapple unusual, more like amazing! I'm a frequent customer now and have several "favorites." As a result the staff all know me, listen to my stories and genuinely seem interested. It's a treat to feel welcome and even better to get such great food. Best pizza in this area by far. They put a lot of toppings on and the sauce is nice and tangy. They also have a garlic tomato sauce that's delicious. Online ordering is sometimes clunky but staff is friendly and helpful. This the type of pizza place I remember going to as a kid. read more

My family and I have been coming here for years. Although I feel the quality of the pizza has really gone down in the last few years we still come for sentimental reasons and because my son loves it. We just came back from a terrible experience. It's raining and cold outside, but this establishment had the doors propped wide open. We were seated close to the door so we were freezing, especially my elderly mother. I asked if I could close the doors and they said I could. So I got up and did it myself. Towards the end of our meal, we were still enjoying chatting when we got cold again and we realized that the doors had been re- opened. I went to close them and was told that I could not do that even though they gave me prior permission to do it . I asked to speak to a manager, and explained that my mother was very cold and this is where things got really bad. The manager was a very very unpleasant woman who told me no other customer had ever complained about being cold which I'm sure is a complete lie. She said as she could see the we were almost done we should just leave and this was said in a very sarcastic voice. She also said they have no choice but to leave the doors open because of the poor ventilation and smoke alarms will go off. I said there are many pizzerias nearby who don't need to keep the doors open. She repeated that if we didn't like it, we could just leave. Understand we are very, very loyal customers, we come at least once a month. We have always had very good service so I'm absolutely shocked that we were treated this way. When I said to her, so no apology, no understanding that my mother is very uncomfortable? she replied "no, not at all." This is not the way to manage a restaurant and not the way to talk to very loyal customers. We will never ever be back and I will make sure I'll spread the word. If she had told me there was nothing she could do about it and she was very sorry we were uncomfortable and maybe offered to find us a seat farther away from the door I would not have written this review. But because she was so sarcastic, with so much attitude, and no sympathy for my elderly mother's condition, I feel I have no choice but to let everyone know what happened. Last but not least when I said I was going to put this on Yelp, she sneered and said "go right ahead". This is our first time at the restaurant on Almaden. I tried the pizza when I visited my neighbor at the hospital. His cuzin owns the restaurants. I couldn't believe how fresh the toppings tasted. They were so good. We ate them so fast I didn't get a pic. We got a medium Bases Loaded and small Creamy Garlic Chicken. They were both delishes! The employees are all really nice. We rented the back room as private event and it had plenty of space. Bathrooms are located outside which wasn't bad since they had a back door and it was right next to it. I ordered a large hawaiian pizza via their website on Sat 10/5 around 11am. It was easy and convenient. You can either pay online or when you pick up. In response to Shelly G's one star review on December 23, 2025... I was there when she was complaining about being cold. Yes the doors were open, yes it can get smokey from the ovens. It wasn't freezing outside (was in the low 60's) and very comfortable inside. Shelly says she's a "frequent customer" - if that was the case, then she should know it can get smokey when the doors are shut, especially on a busy night like tonight. They were sitting one table away from the doors and could have moved to an open table down the aisle way, but it was far easier for her to complain. The comical thing was when she was telling her family "we are leaving." They were all looking around and very confused. Shelly had to explain what happened. She even asks the family at the table behind them if they were cold. They shrugged and said "no, we're fine." So her rant was obviously for herself and not for her family. We got a chuckle at her threat to leave a bad review on yelp! Typical entitlement. We go to Legends at least once a week, sometimes more. The staff is great, and the pizzas are excellent! Don't let Shelly's rant scare you, because it has nothing to do with the food, or the staff. She didn't get her way, got mad and threatened to leave a bad review because of that. One of our last meals of 2021. Legends seemed moderately busy on a Friday evening, New Year's Eve. Placed my order through DoorDash for pickup. There was some miscommunication at first, but it got resolved quickly. They provided Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, ranch, and plates (upon request). We ordered two small pizzas (10"): creamy garlic chicken (thin crust) & Korean bbq (thick crust). It came out to about $48 before discounts. The pizzas were good, but not amazing - the toppings were unevenly distributed & sparse. We used a DoorDash promo code for the order but if we didn't have one, I would say the prices didn't justify what we got. read more

If you are looking for a bread-y and doughy pizza then look no further! As usual, I was craving pizza, but wanted something a little different than what I usually get. Remembered that I had legends YEARS ago and loved it, so thought I'd give it a try again! Ordered takeout over the phone, and was told it would be about 10-15 minutes. Definitely got there after 15 minutes, so it was boxed up and ready to go. The moment you walk into the restaurant the overwhelmingly delicious smell of melted cheese fills your nose. It took so much self control to not open the box and eat the pizza in the car. We went with a medium BYO of grilled chicken, mushrooms, and black olives. Pizza had 8 slices of various sizes, probably should've only eaten 2 slices but it was too good to stop at that. Medium was more than enough for two of us, we ended up with two slice leftover. We had wanted to get a small and do a salad, but unfortunately the salad bar is still closed and they aren't doing pre-made salads. Pizza was a little cooler by the time we got home, but nothing 20 seconds in the microwave couldn't fix. Also, we showed up about 5-10 minutes after it was ready and had a 10 minute drive back home, so not the restaurants fault at all.
