    pineapple pizza

My family and I were in the area and decided to stop by Slice House for some pizza. They have a free parking structure and both indoor and outdoor seating. When we arrived there was a short line and a few people inside watching a game on the TV. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a pineapple pizza. The pineapple pizza was really good with the large pieces of pineapple! They brought the pizzas out to our table and we enjoyed them outside with some ranch and hot honey.

The pizzas here are super tasty and the portion sizes are huge! For the price, you really get your money's worth. We also tried the buffalo chicken wings and they were perfectly cooked. The service was top-notch, too. Even though we ordered a large pizza, it was out in under 20 minutes. Just a heads up on the food: the pizza is quite oily and the ranch is very rich/fatty. However, the oil actually seems to indicate they're using real, high-quality ingredients, so it still tastes fresh. Parking Note: Since this place is right next to Trader Joe's and all the Turing apartments, the parking situation is pretty hard. Give yourself some extra time to find a spot!

(Take out review) Not bad, but not amazing either. I ordered a Hawaiian in NY style & a Motorhead in Grandma style + got hot oil and spicy honey on the side, along with the garlic cheese bread. This was enough to feed 7 people. The Hawaiian pizza flavor did indeed taste good, but the crust on the end was thicker than I expected for a NY style. I think everyone went for a slice - even those who don't like pineapple on a pizza. The Motorhead was also pretty good. The slices were still pretty big (8 slices) even though it was double sliced. I only had 1 garlic cheese bread, but I didn't think it was amazing. It wasn't garlic-y enough for my personal preference. The hot honey and hot oil were a bit disappointing since it wasn't spicy at all in my opinion. We added our own chili flake from home.

I live about a 3min walking distance from Slice house (MV) so I frequent this place every so often. They have a large selection to choose from. Today I tried the motorhead (detroit style) and "big papas" which apparently is not always served and only served on select days of the week I believe. Motorhead pizza 4.5/5 - classic tomato sauce with a ton of meat and cheese (think pepperoni, bacon, italian sausage, ricotta, salami, mozzarella). Well-made and I loved the crunchy cheesey crust. I also love that they re-heat your pizza without even asking. Big papa 4./5 - Heavier, more unique toppings (cheese, seasoned beef, purple potato, calabrese aioli, ranch). this was more unconventional with different types of cheeses. Also very well-made. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Worth trying at least once! The staff are always so nice and attentive. They always go above and beyond in terms of giving you their own recommendations .

My buddy knows I like pizza especially Detroit style so I had to try this place out. I was in the area and didn't know how the parking would be around noon time so I ordered from the website which was pretty simple. I ordered the Detroit style Wiseguy and the XL 20" Apricot Fields to go. Estimated time was a 20 minutes. When we arrived, there was a parking garage and street parking. We got lucky and were able to fond street parking right next to the pizza joint. We got there a little earlier so our pizza was not ready yet. My wife was hungry and she decided to get the BBQ Chicken slice while we wait. The crust was soft but the chicken was more on the sweet side. I don't like my pizza sweet so I was not a fan of this one. I ordered the Apricot Fields since it sounded interesting. It had an interesting taste. A little on the sweet side. I gave a slice to my parents and they thought the same thing. It wasn't bad but I don't think I would order this again. I had 2 slices leftover the next morning and heated it up. Honestly, it tasted better the next day after in the fridge where it wasn't as sweet as the first day. I checked Yelp and everyone was raving about the Wiseguy so I decided to get this in Detroit style. This had a lot of flavor. It's your traditional type of pizza toppings and did not disappoint. My kids and parents enjoyed this pizza a lot. The square slices are big so you can actually share one slice if you are not a big eater. For me, I didn't mind the big slice. The dough was good also. They do not give the Tony's Hot Oil for free so decided to buy the 8oz bottle to see what the rave is about. The initial taste was bland but after a few seconds, the flavor did come out with the heat. Still don't understand the rave about this chili oil when there really isn't anything special about it. They have another location that just opened up in Milpitas so if Mountain View is too far, you can hit up the other location. If you like detroit pizza or just pizza in general, definitely try this place out. They have a good variety of options and you can also get them by the slice as well depending on what is available during that time and day.

My favorite pizza was the Apricot Fields, definitely recommend. It was packed with flavor in every bite. The crust is on the thinner side since the pizzas are more flat, but still really delicious. I was a little disappointed with the hot honey pizza though. It might have been because my pizzas were delivered stacked in a to-go box, and the one with honey was on the bottom. When I tried it, I could not taste the honey at all so it ended up tasting like a regular pepperoni pizza. Even with that, it is definitely still worth trying. I would go again, especially earlier in the day since a few options were already sold out later in the evening. Staff was friendly, which is always a plus.

I've driven by this place so many times, but tonight I had to check it out. There's a nice vibe Keith indoor & outdoor seating. Came on a Saturday and it was super busy. Was greeted immediately upon entering and staff here is dope and friendly. Never been here before so asked for recommendations and was told try a pepperoni deep dish and I believe it was Detroit slice as well and they both were delicious. The sauce had the right amount and it wasn't too much crust/bread. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Underrated pizza spot for sure. Check it out when you're in Mountain View area off of San Antonio Rd.

First time trying the pizza . Food: yummy and hella big slices!! Service: cool for school . Ambiance: we did a to-go order so I can't speak for it. Looking forward to coming back.

went next door for açaí smoothies and was enticed by slice house! my sister, fiancé and i always repeat the same activities every morning after boxing but this time we decided to change it up and i'm so glad we did!! i've always been interested in trying slice house and i wished we had it earlier. we were there just two minutes before opening but they already had fresh pizza ready! we all got a slice and i do have to say the focaccia was honestly my favorite. it wasn't too heavy, the bread tasted like sour dough which was a first for me when it came to pizza, and the fluffiness of the pizza was a really nice change. the pizza is on the oily side but it really hits the spot when you're craving good pizza! they have different daily pizzas - you can get it by the slice or a full size pizza as well. definitely will come again! i got the traditional pizza and even though i was getting full, given the portions being so big!, i couldn't stop eating it!

Satisfying slice with a delicious crust, which is slightly crispy but has a soft interior. It's a simple veggie slice but so tasty. I especially love the red onion and olives. Hope they offer more vegetarian-friendly slices at the front but they do have a vegan menu for whole pies. Short 10 minute wait for them to heat the slices up.

Despite originating from an award-winning chef, this pizza place is actually quite affordable! Coming at ~$8 per slice, our $25 dollar order fed my family of three--with leftovers for a one person dinner the next day! When you come inside, you can either order a whole pie or order by the slice. If you want to order by the slice, you are limited to the flavor selection in the display. Typically, the display is large pizzas and a slice truly is one slice. If there's a small-sized pizza in the display, one slice is equivalent to half the small pizza as seen in my picture !! I thought the traditional was just okay. Nothing special about the sauce or toppings. The Detroit dough is pretty good but felt a little too air fried. The grandma sweet gino was fantastic. I'm not the biggest fan of thin crust, but this makes me reevaluate my opinion on thin crust. It's crispy and the perfect texture to make you really enjoy the flavors and opening. I liked the sweetness of it and how juicy it is. There's a lot of sauce but it still doesn't get soggy, making every bite super yummers. The ricotta is good too. Besides being a fantastic deal of $7 for like 3 slices, the NY style Genoa was great! I will admit that the dough is a little chewy and dry, but it is a sauceless pizza. The juicy cherry tomatoes and olives do great at making up for the lack of sauce. The pesto swirls make for interesting bites. It's like the flavor of the pizza changes depending on what you bite off, making it a fun experience. This shop is at a very nice area situated by some townhouses, a hotel, and some offices. There's a lot of seating by the shop. There's seating indoors, seating right outside the shop, and seating across the street by the office buildings. Despite being a fairly new area, it's very lively with families walking around. There's a park and dog park that's a short walk away as well as a few shops nearby. Even though it was dark after we finished eating, we still felt safe walking around the neighborhood which is definitely a big plus! Would come back!! So excited for the Milpitas location which is way closer to my house than this location.

Located in San Antonio Shopping Center, parking is plentiful and easy to find. The area is really nice as well. There's a lot of seating indoors and a few tables outside. They have both new york and Detroit style pizza. Combo Americano (4/5): so yummy. Flavor was absolutely amazing. The herbs really brought it all together and I liked how crispy they were too. Good selection and toppings. The tomatoes were so juicy. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, Slice House has some bomb pizza. Slices are good and worth it for the price. Service was quite speedy too.

Looks better than it tastes. The hot honey pizza was so oily and didn't taste sweet (where did the honey go?) Also, the pizza dish on the stand just suddenly collapsed onto the table, so I don't think it was very sturdy.

Slice of the Rosa (front) and slice of the Wiseguy (back).

Fortunately the quality of the food made up for the spill. They had a Valentine's Day-specific menu, which had some offerings not present on their regular menu. We shared the Arancini di Riso to start. He got the Pollo Milanese and I got the Gnocchi Tartufati with a side of chicken (I love my gnocchi, but I find pasta alone is never enough to fill me). We then shared a Tiramisu for dessert. We really loved how fresh and flavorful all the dishes came out to be. I was absolutely in love with my gnocchi given how light and airy each bite came out to be. The sauce made it even more addicting, as I was consuming bite after bite. The prices were very competitive for Italian food as well. We'd love to come back to try their other dishes, and hopefully we either get a bigger table next time or we sit at one of the outdoor tables.

It is a smaller portion for an Italian restaurant and unfortunately it was just okay. I really needed the crushed red pepper for more flavor. The guanciale had a bit too much fat for my liking. My friend had the gnocchi pomodoro and we thought the gnocchi was overcooked as it was quite mushy. Unfortunately I was disappointed as I had high hopes for this restaurant but have had much better.

I am always on the lookout for an excellent pizza spot, and Terún definitely hit the mark!…read more I ordered the Calabria Margarita and San Daniele pizza. I love a good spicy marg (and I also love Calabrian chili oil) but should warn that this one is *actually* spicy! This wasn't quite the spicy marg that I was going for. However, the pizza was delicious! The crust was so soft and fluffy, and despite eating a majority of the pizza, it didn't sit heavy. I loved the prosciutto, mushroom and truffle oil combination. My boyfriend also loved his pizza and the crust, but I would add that this isn't the meat lovers pizza spot (obviously the menu is Italian but I think we were still surprised there wasn't at least one option or additional toppings). The service was great and the restaurant was clean, bright and lively on a Saturday night!

The outdoor furniture is just ok- inside is nicer. The food is mixed. I have had the fish, pizza, and pasta. The pizza is very good. The appetizers are just ok, the salads are mix, the fish is mediocre and the pastas are just ok. The risotto was reasonable. So again a lot of variability in the quality and quantity. Ordered salmon on the side which was cooked and salted well. *Fettuccini Carbonara(9/10)- Served with pancetta, English green peas, and mushrooms in a white cream sauce. Pasta was fresh with perfect amount of sauce ratio. A lot great of texture and the meat added some saltiness to the dish. It does have too much mushroom for my preference *Sausage & Honey Flatbread(8.7/10)- Tomato sauce, homemade Italian sausage, serrano peppers, mascarpone. *Fortaleza Repo Winter Blend Margarita (8.8/10)- drink was delicious. Tequila was definitely spot on and is high quality. However it's mostly ice and definitely not worth $55 Ambience: restaurant is very elegant and clean. A bar on the back. Great for special occasions. Offers both indoor and outdoor options. Service: Great service. Servers were attentive, gives recommendations, and communicates with you at a personal level. Price: Expensive. Be aware that there's a 20% gratuity already Parking: plenty of parking in the front
