My friends and I came here for an early dinner before heading into the city. We were seated upon arrival. Food: I ordered a mushroom pizza. It was very hot when it came as it had just gotten out of the oven. It was pretty good. It may have been softer than I normally prefer my thin crust pizzas, but it was still good. Service: Service was quick. You could see from the table how they're making the pizzas and putting it into their large pizza oven. The food came as it was ready. It is a small restaurant, and it was decently busy when we went. Our server didn't check in on us too much, but it wasn't difficult to get anything we needed. TL;DR - pizza is a little softer than I prefer but still good

The place was pretty quiet on a Sunday noon, so we had no problem getting a table. -wood- fire Napoletana pizza: dough was good and chewy, the pizza had good flavor as well. - carbonara: a little peppery but tasty. It used traditional ingredients, which was a nice change from the Americanized versions you usually find. -vodka pasta: this was okay. It wasn't as creamy as what I'm used to; I've had better ones. -tiramisu: delicious, it didn't have a very strong coffee liqueur flavor. Overall, we enjoyed the food, but there wasn't anything that particularly stood out.

Pretty lowkey Italian restaurant. Friend shared their carbonara was pretty good and it did not disappoint! The Napoletana pizza was also great! The space is pretty small but by dinner time had plenty of customers! Good service too.

This pizzeria is one of the few in South Bay to mark AVPN authentication (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana). a friend introduced me to this place over 10+ years ago, the pizza was so memorable back then and I was delighted to be in the area recently and see it's still around! We were a walk-in at 8pm on a Friday night w party of 3 people, seated right away and there were still others streaming in filling up all the tables. It's a small, simple restaurant (no frills) w a single dining room and closes early at 9pm. There was only 1 dedicated server + the owner bringing out food, yet we were able to order promptly and food came out quickly. For 3 adults, we ordered the following: Salad: INSALATA NOCI E GORGONZOLA (WALNUT AND GORGONZOLA) Radicchio, Belgian endive, dried cranberries and arugula topped with gorgonzola and walnuts in a homemade apple cider vinaigrette dressing. - ordered this tossed in very LIGHT dressing, and they actually tossed it lightly (unlike so many American restaurants) - it was wonderful! generous portion even for sharing, took 1/2 home in takeout box so we wouldn't fill up too fast before mains. Pasta: CARBONARA Spaghetti with pancetta, egg, parsley, parmesan and extra virgin olive oil. - the pasta here is all cooked al dente by default, so you don't need to worry about requesting this. it's really flavorful without being completely soaked in soupy cream like many Americanized pastas tend to be ruined in. 2 Pizzas (12" diameter, 8 slices each), ate 1 1/2 while bringing 1/2 home in takeout box): NAPOLETANA Tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, Italian homemade sausage, basil and extra virgin olive oil. - this was easily the best dish of the night, so classic and easy one of their most popular items on the menu recommended by our server; SO SO GOOD! BIANCA AL PROSCIUTTO Fresh mozzarella and garlic topped with Parma prosciutto and arugula (no tomato sauce). + added anchovies for $4, they were a wonderful addition! We also added a chilled bottle of Moretti (shared among 2 ppl to not overstuff ourselves while already having so much carbs) halfway through dinner which was a perfectly crisp type of light and popular Italian beer to accompany the savory sensations in our meal. *** The only drawback would be if you are bringing someone more elderly to the restaurant, know that there's 1 single restroom in the very back and you need to weave yourself through their kitchen which has uneven flooring, thick rubber holed mats and staff working in the walkway. Children and seniors may need to be accompanied, and if you're standing outside the restroom waiting, there's really not much space as one of the dishwasher machines is smack right in front of the door. Other than this logistical heads up, really enjoy the food here and appreciate how it's so classic, low-key and non-stuffy amidst all of the newer trendy hyped places in Silicon Valley.

Came in for dinner a week ago. Ordered fried calamari, Caesar salad, two pizzas and a pasta. Favorite dish was the pasta. Everything was flavorful. This restaurant has a nice lively ambiance but seating is limited. If you have a party larger than 6 people, space may be limited.

Terrific, authentic and very delicious pizza. It's a small, quaint space but was bustling when we went on a Sunday night for dinner. We got two of their veggie pizzas and a salad all of which was super satisfying. Very light on the stomach too which I appreciate a lot. Will definitely be back to taste more of their offerings.

**this is a true 3.5 stars but I have rounded up** I have tried pizza in Naples, Italy and man oh man one of the pizzas we got so much like authentic Napoli pizza! Specifically the Del Carcerato - amazing amazing amazing! I would give that pizza 5/5. It was incredibly thin, light amount of tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and basil. The best part was the ricotta stuffed crust -- that was a game changer! This must be eaten immediately. Try to not order it to-go and have at home. There is something about having it fresh and a bit on the pipping hot side (esp. on a cold day/night). We got the Cappellaccio as well, but it was not my favorite despite it being a thin pizza with mozzarella, mushrooms, and basil. I was so floored by Del Carcerato, that anything else would not have had that wow factor at that moment. I would give this pizza 3/5. Price for each pizza came out to $25 including tax. To me that is pretty steep given these are personal sized pizzas, but also give its in the Mountain View area, you would need to be ready to pay those prices (I guess). Staff & Ambiance: Staff was attentive and friendly. Ambiance was more on the romantic-low-light environment. I went on a mom date with our kids so that threw a different vibe but everyone was very sweet to our excited kiddos. :) The taste of the pizza, staff, and ambiance puts this review at 4/5 but the price pulls that down to a 3.5/5.

I went here this weekend to celebrate my birthday. Super cozy, cute little pizza shop in Mountain View. The only hard part was to take pictures. The food is super delicious , freshly made, and you can't stop eating. They definitely hold the standards very high. Since I went with all girls, I'll definitely be back with my family. My kids loved the leftover pizza. It's a family business, super friendly staff.

Can I say that I just love this restaurant? Myself and 2 other friends always meet here and it's our regular spot when we get together. The waitress is the sweetest and knows us. I enjoy supporting a local business and not a chain. I love that there is plenty of parking and everything we ordered off the menu is good. The penne alla vodka we always have to order, the best. The pizzas are all very good but we get the prosciutto and fungi usually. My friend made me a lovely dessert trifle for my birthday and our waitress even refrigerated it for us. At the end of the night, my sweet friend gave the trifle to the wait staff and kitchen to take home (this is why she's my sweet friend, so generous!) Support this gem of a restaurant! It's a small place and it gets busy! We usually go early.

Best Napolenta style pizza I've had in the US. Our goto spot for Italian. The dough is stretchy, holds up under wet toppings, addictively chewy. The dough has been appropriately fermented and the oven is hot. They put enough red sauce. We always get sausage and mushroom. It's juicy, salty but not too salty, and basil is punchy. Also got margherita which didn't taste plain. Pastas have good bite and sauces are well balanced. It's a smaller restaurant so expect a wait on weekends.

Lacking service!!! This lady seemed annoyed at us. Never said a please or thank you whatever, ick, food was ok. Nothing to bring me back, I would not recommend. Food was mid but tiramisu was super good.

Amazing napoleon style pizza with pretty decent value, especially given the area that it's in. The pizza has the right amount of toppings and the brick oven gives it that perfect char flavor to the edges. Can get a bit warm because the oven is in the back of the dining room. But great place if you're looking for something quick and delicious.

Arugula Salas drenched in heavy, sweet dressing
    Sona K.

5 stars for pizza! 5 stars for fried calamari, lightly battered and crunchy. 1 star for pasta, we ordered carbonate. It was the worst carbonara we ever had. Salty and watery. We sent it back and they kindly removed it from the bill. 2 stars for salad because of excessive dressing. Arugula was all saggy, drenched in dressing. Most definitely return for more pizzas!

It's very spacious with modern decor inside; service was always friendly. While their happy hour menu wasn't very extensive, everything we had tried had been solid, and their cocktails were delicious and never watered down; pricing was very reasonable, but they did have a 3% surcharge. This time we ordered the Sorrento King and Tiki Taormina cocktails and 3 food items. My husband liked his whiskey with the smoky flavor; my cocktail was fruity and refreshing, just a little on the sweeter side. The calamari was lightly battered and not oily, it's very flavorful with or without the spicy marinara sauce. I liked that they included a lot of tentacle pieces. While I missed their roasted cauliflower, which was no longer on the menu, their braised artichoke was surprisingly good. It was soaked in a yummy garlicky olive oil, perfect for dipping the crostini in. It took a bit of work to get to the artichoke heart, but it was well worth it. The center was so soft and tasted heavenly. I liked the Pizza Fradiavola's thin crust, and it had just the right amount of spiciness with the peperoncino. The complimentary vanilla gelato with raspberry sauce and birthday candle was a really nice touch. We also claimed the tiramisu birthday reward we received via email. Both were very satisfying. Given the holiday, there restaurant was pretty busy when we had arrived, but we were promptly seated at an indoor table. They had some outdoor seating as well, but it was pretty chilly that evening. Now the interior is quite small almost to the point of being cramped. The spacing between tables felt like you had elbow space and then some, and the given the surface area on the tables is quite small. We had the complimentary bread & dip appetizer to share, and when our appetizer came out, the waiter tried moving around our dishes to set it down. Unfortunately that meant spilling the dip onto the ground given the crampedness of it all, and some of it did splash onto my dress and boots. Fortunately the quality of the food made up for the spill. They had a Valentine's Day-specific menu, which had some offerings not present on their regular menu. We shared the Arancini di Riso to start. He got the Pollo Milanese and I got the Gnocchi Tartufati with a side of chicken (I love my gnocchi, but I find pasta alone is never enough to fill me). We then shared a Tiramisu for dessert. We really loved how fresh and flavorful all the dishes came out to be. I was absolutely in love with my gnocchi given how light and airy each bite came out to be. The sauce made it even more addicting, as I was consuming bite after bite. The prices were very competitive for Italian food as well. We'd love to come back to try their other dishes, and hopefully we either get a bigger table next time or we sit at one of the outdoor tables.

I am always on the lookout for an excellent pizza spot, and Terún definitely hit the mark!…read more I ordered the Calabria Margarita and San Daniele pizza. I love a good spicy marg (and I also love Calabrian chili oil) but should warn that this one is *actually* spicy! This wasn't quite the spicy marg that I was going for. However, the pizza was delicious! The crust was so soft and fluffy, and despite eating a majority of the pizza, it didn't sit heavy. I loved the prosciutto, mushroom and truffle oil combination. My boyfriend also loved his pizza and the crust, but I would add that this isn't the meat lovers pizza spot (obviously the menu is Italian but I think we were still surprised there wasn't at least one option or additional toppings). The service was great and the restaurant was clean, bright and lively on a Saturday night!

The outdoor furniture is just ok- inside is nicer. The food is mixed. I have had the fish, pizza, and pasta. The pizza is very good. The appetizers are just ok, the salads are mix, the fish is mediocre and the pastas are just ok. The risotto was reasonable. So again a lot of variability in the quality and quantity. (Mountain View) Food:*Green & Apples ~ Side of Salmon (9/10)- Garden lettuce, gorgonzola cheese,…read morewalnuts, cranberries, apples, and poppy seed dressing .Vegetables were fresh and the dressing was flavorful but not overpowering. Ordered salmon on the side which was cooked and salted well. *Fettuccini Carbonara(9/10)- Served with pancetta, English green peas, and mushrooms in a white cream sauce. Pasta was fresh with perfect amount of sauce ratio. A lot great of texture and the meat added some saltiness to the dish. It does have too much mushroom for my preference *Sausage & Honey Flatbread(8.7/10)- Tomato sauce, homemade Italian sausage, serrano peppers, mascarpone. *Fortaleza Repo Winter Blend Margarita (8.8/10)- drink was delicious. Tequila was definitely spot on and is high quality. However it's mostly ice and definitely not worth $55 Ambience: restaurant is very elegant and clean. A bar on the back. Great for special occasions. Offers both indoor and outdoor options. Service: Great service. Servers were attentive, gives recommendations, and communicates with you at a personal level. Price: Expensive. Be aware that there's a 20% gratuity already Parking: plenty of parking in the front

We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary at Cucina Venti!…read more I first visited last month for a company dinner, and I knew right away this is where I would bring my wife for our anniversary. Their interior design is incredible; so sceney with a lot of white roses and chandeliers. We enjoyed dinner on the patio which was surrounded by beautiful flowers and ivy growing up the side of the building. Such a great ambience. There were printed out Anniversary cards on the table for me and my wife which was very sweet! Recommend getting a reservation around 6:30-7:00 if you can, that way you can watch the restaurant transition it's atmosphere. The food was such a hit! We got the Spanish Octopus, prawns, Burrata and Heirloom tomatoes salad, filet mignon and the star of the night: the Paella with added scallops by our server's recommendation!! They somehow managed to pull off stellar Mediterranean and Italian food at a single location. They also brought us a spececial dessert with The drinks were also absolutely fantastic; I got one of their special old fashions with their home made smoked syrup and it was legitimately one of the best Old Fashions I've ever had. My wife also loved her cocktails. Lastly, our experience was made by our server and all the waiting staff- one of the best We've ever had at any restaurant! The wife was impressed and very pleased.. our new favorite restaurant!

The crushed…read more olives tapenade is just brilliant and it shows how much they care even in the smallest things. And it goes really well with the fresh bread they offered. The brown layers of the tiramisu it's the kind of cookie called ladyfingers and it should be soaked in espresso for the texture and flavor so the complains of the "wet and moist" reviews don't stand. This is just how traditional tiramisu is made and I absolutely loved it 1/1 star on the service. We came here to eat but their hospitality was so amazing we felt like folks coming home 0/1 for my cleanness fetish. The utensils and scotch glass seem pretty old and chewed up. I would polish them more or maybe replace them with new ones. Also there are small tiny fruit flies towards the end of dine. I killed 2 but 1 kept coming back and taunting me. Overall 3.5, I would lean towards 4 cause the food and overall experience is pretty awesome.
