Good service! Food was delicious. The pizza is probably one of the better neopolitan pizzas I have had in the area. We sat outside and was dog friendly!

Doubt I'll ever be back. Service was slow and out of the 2 items I ordered 2 came out wrongly even though I pointed them out on the menu and they were one after another. When informed the waiter that one of the items was wrong, it was replaced but took was too long so I did not even bring up that the second was wrong too because I needed to eat at least something before leaving. Food was okay, good location.

Recommended by a friend so decided to try it out. Had a reservation. Initially, led outside (when I had booked an inside res) so let staff know. Also, super weird placement for staff to have all the outdoor utensils and cups at a high traffic area at the front. A lot busier than expected. Two of us ordered: nectarine salad $14 marechiaro $25 bistecca $42 margherita pizza $19 limoncello spritz $15 almanac hazy ipa $9 Overall, food was ok. Nothing really stood out. A bit disappointed on the main entrees.

Came here for valentine's dinner and it was great. The truffle French fries and doppio zero pizza was delicious as well as the branzino and gnocchi. Service was attentive and ambiance was okay outside, just a little cold. They have space heaters which is helpful though.

We got 3 pizzas, calamari and truffle fries. Everything was really good and I highly recommend getting the truffle fries. I liked how the pizzas reminded me of the pizzas I got in Italy. We sat inside but I recommend requesting a seat outside because the outdoor seating was cute. The only downside was that the pizza wasn't really cut so we had a difficult time getting a slice and the pizza would come apart while we tried to cut it.

3.5 Stars Casual spot with Neopolitan style pizza, antipasto, and gourmet looking pasta dishes. The inside is warm and stuffy, but hey I guess that's how it is when you're operating a real wood-fired pizza oven. There's food came out lightning quick so if you come hungry that's good. Beets ($16) with truffle stracciatella - wouldn't get these again, these were just missing a "zing" - basically just tasted like boiled sliced beets. BF and sister got the Bufalina ($24) and Fungo ($23) pizzas - the crust was wonderfully puffy and fluffy and charred and the toppings were wonderful and fresh. There's a bar with a TV inside too. Staff were nice.

Authentic pizza crust, attentive service, and a casual ambiance. I decided to try this place despite a friend mentioning that he'd never managed to get a table there. To be safe, I made a reservation for the only available time slot, which was later than we preferred. After we arrived, one of us let the staff know that we'd be happy to be seated earlier if possible. They were very considerate and seated us as soon as our full party arrived--table availability clearly worked in our favor. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone, including vegans. The food was good overall, and the pizza crust was exceptional. I do wish the tiramisu lived up to its name, though--the dessert lacked the essential coffee flavor. That said, I would definitely return for the pizza and small plates.

I like that the food comes out relatively quick here but I thought the food was relatively mid given the hype. We got the doppio pizza and the seafood pasta that tasted more like a risotto than pasta dish. They're always crowded though, potentially due to the michelin nomination, so make sure to make reservations before hand

On Christmas eve we hopped on the Cal Train from SJ Diridon and got off at Mountain View for a short walk to Doppio for lunch. Years ago my husband and I were in Napoli and the Amalfi Coast for the holidays and this felt like a toddler friendly version of that. We were seated right away in the sunny patio and ordered their calamari and shrimp along with a classic margherita pizza and the pizza vegana for me. The seafood appetizer tasted so delicate and fresh, not greasy or heavy. The red sauce that it was served with was spectacular and tasted like they just made it. My husband said their Napoli style pizza was legit and I am obsessed with their vegan pizza. It had grilled bell peppers, mushrooms and a pumpkin puree. I drizzled some oil and had to practice restraint to not finish it all and over do it. The service was prompt and friendly. The one bathroom was very clean. It was an early lunch so it wasn't busy and there were several families with kids.

Having lived in Mountain View for a few years now, we finally got around to trying Doppio Zero. We got their Saliccia to share and it was delicious. Very flavorful, colorful, and fresh. We then finish off with some gelato and cheesecake. Great spot if you're craving pizza. Servers were friendly and outdoor seating is great during warm weather.

I am an Italian food lover. I could literally eat it breakfast lunch and dinner. There are so many restaurants that claim to be authentic Italian but aren't even close. Doppio Zero is 100% authentic Italian!! My pizza was delicious and cooked to perfection, the lasagna was delicious. But! The star of the show was the fried artichoke. We went on food tours in Italy with a famous chef and had the best artichokes ever and have been searching for them ever sense. Doppio!! You did it!! Your were ever but as good!! They were soft yet crispy. And the flavoring you had on them - chefs kiss!! We will definitely be back!!

I tried going back and the quality had fallen off a cliff. After trying multiple times the seasoning level has gone through the roof and everything's just too salty

Vibes were high here! Came for happy hour and the deals were pretty decent. The food was all tasty. We loved the truffle tries (we got two). Really enjoyed our time and the employees gave us a better experience!

Where is parking? Is it nearby restauarant as my uses a walker.

That entire portion of Castro Street is closed, but you can park on the opposite side of the block in the parking garage or on the street. There is a walkway in between the buildings that you can use to cut through the middle of the block.

I love that each location has its own signature pie, which makes it feel unique instead of just another chain experience! The apricot pizza at this location ONLY completely surprised me! It had that perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the cheese tied everything together so well. It did not feel gimmicky at all and bite felt intentional and balanced. I also tried the Little Italy Detroit style and DET Motorhead style slices. The Detroit crust is thick and fluffy with crispy, caramelized edges and a cheesy center that does not feel overly heavy. The bread to cheese ratio is honestly just right. The DET Motorhead with the sauce layered on top was rich and satisfying without being overwhelming. The Italian sausage was juicy with a slight sweetness and a little spice that added great flavor! Beyond the food, the employees were so nice and attentive. They were patient, helpful with recommendations, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and comfortable. Definitely a place I would come back to again for both the quality of the pizza and the friendly service!

Got the cheese slice and the New York style hot honey pizza with pepperoni and sausage. The cheese was solid but nothing to write home about. The hot honey slice was definitely better, nice flavor overall, though a bit on the salty and greasy side, but it's pizza so it's kind of what you sign up for. Crust is on the thinner, hard and crispy side. They also offer Sicilian and Detroit style pizzas, which we'll probably try next time. Staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience better. Overall a good casual spot for a quick slice.

I like Blue Line's deep dish! I know they do other things, but that's what I come for. And IMO,…read moreit's (1) cheaper (2) healthier than people give it credit for. Is it healthy or cheap? No. What I mean is, if you break down their pizza (as I did in one pic below bc I have a cold, so I got mine to go), it's a cornmeal crust with a bunch of toppings and cheese, topped by a thick layer of tomato-based sauce. The crust is not super thin, but neither is it super thick and bready. It basically forms a shell around the toppings and sauce. The toppings can be healthy depending on what you choose. This time, I got 1/2 brass monkey 1/2 free bird. Brass monkey has a lot of sausage and ricotta, so not a healthy choice. Free bird has a really great amount of chicken! ... and some bacon, but I chose it. You could easily get a delicious veggie and chicken pizza, and it'd be better nutritionally. There's a good amount of cheese, but it's not overwhelming or super greasy. If you want in-your-face cheese, add more for another dollar or two. I like if the way it is. The tomato sauce is thick and surprisingly tangy. That reassures me it's not loaded down with sugar. Basically, is this super healthy? No -- in terms of my eating out/takeout, that would be a sashimi salad, or salmon with lightly steamed vegetables and a bit of sweet potato or quinoa. But it's decent for a Friday night out (or in) when you're not really trying to be healthy, but also not making a point of doing the opposite. As for price -- this is March 2026, and the large half-and-half composed of 2 of their priciest options was $39.14 after tax before tip. Now, that seems a bit high for one pizza. But I didn't eat all day, and 2 slices (out of 8) filled me right up. 3 slices would have left me too full, but probably still thinking "worth it!" 4 slices would make me super uncomfortably regretting-my-life-choices overfull. Sure, you can get cheaper pizza/takeout. But this is good stuff, like pasta toppings on a good cornmeal crust. If you ordered 2 solid pastas for under $40, you'd think that was a good deal! Well, this is 3-4 adult's worth of good pizza for under $40. Also, I used to cook and bake a lot more than I do now, and there's a lot of work and ingredient here, more than I'd commit to at twice the price. It would start making sense for me to mix up the crust and buy good cheese and meat and tins of San Marzanos if I needed 4 pizzas, i.e. to feed 15-20 people (with finger foods, salad, sides, dessert). Otherwise I'd just order here. Oh! I can't remember the last time I got takeout here. So they now have a shiny red takeout cabinet to the left as you walk in, and you just put in the last 4 digits of your phone # and your locker pops open! I would have liked not to be sick and to eat in, but the cabinet was pretty cute. :)

Next up was the Garlic Bread with extra mozzarella, the mozzarella tasted fresh and the bread was perfectly crispy. Then came our main courses, the gnocchi and the lasagna. I honestly never finish the whole plate at any restaurant, but I completely cleared the plate and so did my friend with his lasagna.
