Very busy during the 4th of July weekend and they seemed to have only two waitresses. We weren't really greeted and the waitress never really smiled and seemed very rushed but I understand it's not always easy. Food was ok. Unfortunately the sauce was salty in the lasagna and I love salty. The pasta dish which I forgot the name, surprisingly my friend sent it back, they felt the pasta was undercooked and i had to agree. We sent it back and unfortunately the pasta was still a little more on the harder side almost crunchy still. We researched the pasta to see if it was just the nature of the pasta but it just probably needed more time. The calamari and shrimp were delicious!

First time here and ordered a couple of drinks and pizzas. Pizzas were delicious and surprisingly they came out extremely quick so they've got a solid kitchen operation. It was about five minutes from ordering our food to getting our pizzas. I definitely think this is a good spot to come, especially for handmade artisan pizzas, and I don't really have any complaints

Yet to try the Pizza. Had been on my Castro list for ever. Unfortunately the food we tried was pretty average. The chicken was dry(probably reheated) as we were the last ones for the night & the huge serving of Kale was insipid. The Ravioli so-so. Ambiance & Service is good. Will hv to try the main draw - Pizza.

Pizza had a great crispy, chewy thin crust with tasty toppings, but toppings were a little slippery. Really enjoyed the ink pasta with scallops and clams. Everything was good by itself but together was amazing. Food came out fast, hot and fresh. Very flavorful and saucy.

Decided to finally try this place since we're frequently in the Mountain View area, and it definitely seems to be a popular spot. Especially on Friday nights. The restaurant itself is very lively, spacious, and able to accommodate a large crowd, which gives it a fun atmosphere for groups or date nights. Service was a bit mixed, particularly at the host stand. There were two hosts working, and one definitely came across much friendlier and more attentive than the other. We were initially quoted 30-35 minutes for a table for 3, which felt reasonable for a Friday evening. However, after waiting around 45 minutes, we checked in on our spot in line and the second host brushed us off without actually checking the list, simply repeating, "It's 35 minutes." Thankfully, the first host stepped in, checked the waitlist properly, and let us know we were actually next once a 4-top left. It wasn't a huge issue, but as first-time customers, the inconsistency in communication left a slightly off first impression. In total, we waited about 1 hour and 15 minutes, though we did end up getting seated indoors, which was nice. As for the food: * Jalapeño Pizza - The salami being sliced thinly was unique and gave the pizza a nice texture, though overall it leaned saltier than I'd prefer. * Doppio Zero Pizza (without arugula) - Easily my favorite dish of the night. The combination of prosciutto and burrata worked really well together, and the flavors felt balanced and rich without being too heavy. * Seafood Stew - Surprisingly one of the more balanced dishes flavor-wise. Not overly salty. Overall, the food was solid and the atmosphere was energetic, though the long wait and uneven host experience made the night feel a little less smooth than expected.

The images speak for themselves, food was amazing! The only downside is wait time was a bit long. Highly recommend!

Visited on a Thursday night for dinner and the restaurant was packed! They seated us inside which was very humid and loud. We tried the Diavola pizza which was amazing! I absolutely love the dough and how light it is. They served their pizza real fast which was greatly appreciated. Our server missed our order of Gnocchi the first time because the restaurant was so packed and loud so we had to wait another 15 minutes for it. The gnocchi was flavorful and if you like eggplant you love this! I think the servers seemed very stressed out honestly and the environment was so loud to the point they couldn't hear our orders. There's barely any space to walk at times too. I would hope they fix these issues and maybe add some AC in there since it does get real stuffy at times. I would love to come back sometime and sit outside. Love the pizzas here!

Food tasted good, the pizza was a sweet and savory type which is what I prefer. The dessert was good mixture of chocolate and the bread pieces were covered under the chocolate. It has more of a pudding type texture. The cider was amazing! A sweet not too strong beer and berry flavor. The service was top notch as well and they attended to our 6 person table very quickly. Tip was included in the bill since we had 6 people with us. The ambiance was very crowded and loud. It was hard to hear each other and people can barely walk to their tables. There's a lot of indoor seating plus outdoor seating. I think next time I'd prefer to sit outside. Overall it was a nice experience.

Recommended by a friend so decided to try it out. Had a reservation. Initially, led outside (when I had booked an inside res) so let staff know. Also, super weird placement for staff to have all the outdoor utensils and cups at a high traffic area at the front. A lot busier than expected. Two of us ordered: nectarine salad $14 marechiaro $25 bistecca $42 margherita pizza $19 limoncello spritz $15 almanac hazy ipa $9 Overall, food was ok. Nothing really stood out. A bit disappointed on the main entrees.

Doubt I'll ever be back. Service was slow and out of the 2 items I ordered 2 came out wrongly even though I pointed them out on the menu and they were one after another. When informed the waiter that one of the items was wrong, it was replaced but took was too long so I did not even bring up that the second was wrong too because I needed to eat at least something before leaving. Food was okay, good location.

Love this place. It's been a while since we came to this place. We used to eat here a lot. Quality is still pretty good. Service is excellent. Food came to the table so fast, I am wondering how the kitchen keep up since the place is packed most of the time. It's very noisy inside so I am not too fond of it. Maybe we can request to sit outside next time.

Food was all amazing, we had the potato croquettes, pear salad, and mushroom pizza. Everything was well seasoned and cooked perfectly - very authentic Italian vibe pizza. We also had an affogato to finish which was absolutely perfect. Would love to come back and sit outside!

Restaurants are lucky to have people like him, and if I were the owner, I'd do everything I could to keep an employee like Jose. However, after the incident, observation and order of food I received on 6/13/26, I cannot support this location. As mentioned we always had a pleasant experience at this location, with great service and great food. But this day the entire staff was off, and it was mainly due to the negative, micromanaging and rude manager/owner Partika. From the moment I walked in the establishment the vibe seemed completely off than what I was use to from past visits. It was scorching hot inside and the employees looked miserable. I quickly figured out why, as I placed my order with the gentleman upfront who was doing a great job, and here comes Partika hovering over him and reaching over him re-asking my order, although the employee had already entered it in and was simply trying to ask if I wanted to add anything else. Once done and paid, she then moves to the back counter and begins to holler over to the employees in the back about hurrying up with tickets, although they weren't very busy. I stood to the side as I had ordered a slice to grab now for my child, and then a full pizza and wings to go. Upon waiting, Partika approaches and tells me to sit down. I looked at her and told her it was not her discretion and I would await the slice to come right out as I already discussed with the employee. Once I obtain the slice i exit and wait in my vehicle in front of establishment. Out comes Partika harassing two men who had just finished up their pizza when I originally walked in and were still sitting at one of the table now having a refreshment from the adjoining establishment. She told them they could not sit at the tables they were reserved for her customers, and they told her they had just ate there and she begin to argue that now they had to move . Be advised there were many tables outside that any guest could choose from and her establishment was far from busy. Once my order was ready, I went back inside , and again she was arguing with another customer who stated the pizza she attempted to hand her was not hers if she could double check. Her rude comment was yes this is yours and the customer explained no her receipt clearly showed this was not her order. The gentleman apologized for the entire ordeal I had experienced and seen and gave me my order , in which I asked who she was and her name for reference. She then bolted towards me asking what the problem in which I told her the issue is she is very rude to very customer I had seen her interact with in the last 20 minutes. Fast forward to arriving home to now enjoy pizza and wings with my family. Open the box and the cheese is stuck to the top bc they failed to properly package it to avoid this mishap. Furthermore several of the winds were undercooked which could have created severe illness. I blame her presence, bad attitude and rushing her staff for these issues. I love the Tony Gemignani pizza brand but this Slice House in Mountain View has a terrible manager/ owner Partika who needs better customer service skills as well as management skills. I much rather have spent $100 with an establishment who had good customer interaction and treated their staff with respect.

Classy restaurant with really lovely outdoor seating…read more We came on a Thursday evening and there was no wait. Less than half the restaurant was full. The weather was good, so we sat in the back patio and it was so nice. I ordered the Dungeness crab fettuccine and it was really well made, but a little too salty for me (although I'm very sensitive to salt so it's probably not too salty for the average diner). My husband ordered the short ribs. He enjoyed his dish but wished there were some vegetables in it. My favorite part was the complimentary bread. So warm and delicious. We came for my husband's birthday, so they actually prepared a small piece of chocolate mousse cake with candle for him after our meal, which was a nice surprise! It was very good--not too sweet. Service was also excellent. Gratuity is already included into your bill, and they're kind enough to remind you of it when giving you the check.

Ordered salmon on the side which was cooked and salted well. *Fettuccini Carbonara(9/10)- Served with pancetta, English green peas, and mushrooms in a white cream sauce. Pasta was fresh with perfect amount of sauce ratio. A lot great of texture and the meat added some saltiness to the dish. It does have too much mushroom for my preference *Sausage & Honey Flatbread(8.7/10)- Tomato sauce, homemade Italian sausage, serrano peppers, mascarpone. *Fortaleza Repo Winter Blend Margarita (8.8/10)- drink was delicious. Tequila was definitely spot on and is high quality. However it's mostly ice and definitely not worth $55 Ambience: restaurant is very elegant and clean. A bar on the back. Great for special occasions. Offers both indoor and outdoor options. Service: Great service. Servers were attentive, gives recommendations, and communicates with you at a personal level. Price: Expensive. Be aware that there's a 20% gratuity already Parking: plenty of parking in the front

The pasta dishes were cooked perfectly al dente and served with rich, delicious sauces made from fresh ingredients. Every dish was comforting, flavorful, and generously portioned. The service was friendly and attentive, and the welcoming atmosphere made us want to stay and enjoy the evening. Whether you're looking for a romantic date night, dinner with family, or a meal with friends, this is an excellent choice. Great food, wonderful ambiance, and an authentic Italian dining experience. I'll definitely be back!

The brown layers of the tiramisu it's the kind of cookie called ladyfingers and it should be soaked in espresso for the texture and flavor so the complains of the "wet and moist" reviews don't stand. This is just how traditional tiramisu is made and I absolutely loved it 1/1 star on the service. We came here to eat but their hospitality was so amazing we felt like folks coming home 0/1 for my cleanness fetish. The utensils and scotch glass seem pretty old and chewed up. I would polish them more or maybe replace them with new ones. Also there are small tiny fruit flies towards the end of dine. I killed 2 but 1 kept coming back and taunting me. Overall 3.5, I would lean towards 4 cause the food and overall experience is pretty awesome.

If I live within 10 minutes, I probably will come as a "let's not cook today" go-to. But I wouldn't travel far to experience this place. Everything was reasonable and well made. But none will be at "I am impressed" level. I got a glass of Chardonnay while waiting for my companion and another bottle of Pinot for the meal. The selection was not large and wine quite good. We shared calamari appetizer; lamb chops and lasagna as entreé; then tiramisu and lava cake for dessert. Pretty much standard test items for first time. I enjoyed them all, yet not quite had an impression when I got home. Service was friendly and prompt. They appeared to have WiFi but the server did not know the code.

One little pettiness is the seasoning of the linguine scampi. The flavors are not cooked into the shrimps which make it a bit less enjoyful while dining. Service: the staff is nice but it seems like the time we visit is almost their closing time or it was a down time in the town, so they didn't really put too much of attention to our table, which is a good and bad thing. We got to have some nice time without being interrupted. Ambiance: nice and clean, suitable for small family gathering or dating.
