If you like thin crust, which to me is more tasty and the bread/crust to substance (sauce, cheese and topping(s) ratio is so much more delicious and better as well as lower carbs therefore possibly more healthy... it's prefect here. It's not the "cracker" style that's too dry and crisp, but it does lack the doughy standard some people prefer (often to get more "full") - - I agree with the way they prepare the Pizza here 'tho with no complaints. I do think the Meat Pizza with Peperoni, Ground Sausage, Ham and Salami as a combo should dump the Salami and replace it with either Linguica or another meat since Peperoni and Salami are so similar and both a bit salty. I heard you can custom swap toppings on pre-set combos 'tho so that's a decision maybe left for the customer to create. They had some sort of "Lunch Special" that ends at 2pm where we ordered a Pizza and received complimentary canned 12 oz standard sodas as an appreciated perk bonus in my opinion. Parking is super easy here, and they have spacious dining areas for in-store indulgence to eat there. read more

One of my SJ native friends told me that she drives from East San Jose just to get this pizza. Cicero's is in my neck of the woods. I usually come to this plaza for the Safeway or dim sum. Parking in this plaza can be hit or miss, depending on time of day. You definitely want to avoid when Grand Dynasty is selling dim sum on weekends. It's great that we have local mom and pop shops still. I placed an order on the phone and paid for the order in store. We had to wait another 5 minutes or so for the pizza to be ready once we got there. Pizza was piping hot and delicious. I definitely need to come back soon! But I've had the veggie and meat toppings before and I love how finally diced everything is. They always spread the toppings nicely over the pizza. When I got my cheese pizza, it wasn't piping hot, but still a solid cheese pizza. I put a few slices in the air fryer and preferred the slices that were not warmed up. So tasty! We were visiting family in SJ and they grabbed Cicero's for everyone for dinner. I dove right into the Cicero's special and boy was that a great pizza. I decided not to wait, found a table and started digging in immediately. It burnt my mouth!! Burnt mouth aside, pizza was undoubtedly delicious, the "spicy" part was from the pickled jalapeños. This is the thin, crispy and not floppy kind of pizza. Not too much cheese and the right amount of veggies. The outer rim was burnt on one side though. Visited from Sac and wanted to get some pizza. We looked online and many people recommended Cicero's Pizza. We placed an order online, and it was ready within 30 minutes. While the food was overall decent, it was not worth the $44 we spent on food + tip. We had also found a bell pepper sticker label on our pizza (see picture). I ordered 2 pizzas over the phone at 545. They said it would take about 20 minutes I arrived at 600 and I paid and the gal checked and said it wasn't ready I sat down in the front where I could see the pizzas coming out. They announced about 3 pizzas on the speaker for other customers. I continued waiting until I realized it was 620. I stood in line to ask and they found my pizzas in the little oven. She apologized but forgot to give me cheese or peppers. I had to return to get those. There were 4 working at the front counter when this happened . I would hope that you have a protocol for checking in on pizzas inside the little oven. Needless to say the pizzas were barely warm by the time I got home. Great pizza. This is currently the best pizza in the Silicon Valley & the great San Francisco bay area. It is its own style, which is crispy at the edges & thin, with a good amount of toppings. Their spicy vegetarian is our favorite, though plain cheese is a close second. My wife and I get a large spicy vegetarian minus cheese, with extra sauce & well done. If you come at lunch, they throw in free drinks. They even have Detroit's Vernors - be sure to try it if you have not.The pizza is neither deep dish, soft NY style, or gourmet Californian. Vegetarian have one choice only, which is spicy Vegetarian pizza. Jalepeno, cheese, tomato, onion, bell peppers on a thin crest and unlike other places you have ingredients to the edge and right portion of vegetables. Ordered a large belly buster and some Modelo, waited about 20 minutes and the guy was kind enough to bring our pizza to the table. The pizza was very tasty, very crispy definitely a low carb delight with the super thin crust. It however didn't quite live up to the name as we'd expect more cheese and other toppings in order to 'bust the belly'. There's a reason cicero's has been a neighborhood favorite for so long! They do not pre bake any pizza because mine was super hot when I got it and the pizza took a good amount of time to come out. So the flavor was wonderful and the crust was nice and crispy. Their crust also tends to be on the thinner side which I love. Depending on who's working, the service can be really sweet and nice. We are coming to Cicero for almost 13 years but for the first time the quality was very bad. $75 for 2 large pizzas were not at all worth it. Did they change the chef ? The taste was not at all good, no flavor, it was slightly burnt at the bottom, they didn't even cut the pizza properly. I would probably never have known about this place if it had not been featured on an episode of "Check Please Bay Area." It's in West San Jose, in a strip mall with a Safeway on Bollinger. You order at the counter and they call your name when your pizza is ready. We ate in. Their soda's are in cans rather than out of a dispenser. The menu is small: pizza's and salad, but they do have a choice of salad dressings. The salad is rather basic, but not bad. The pizza crust is very thin and crispy. We all enjoyed our pizza. My "No Meat Treat" could have used more cheese; perhaps next time I'll ask for extra cheese. Otherwise, it was very good. I was able to finish a small pizza. My husband had the Hawaiian and loved it. My daughter really liked her spicy veggie. We came at around 4 pm, which turned out to be fortunate since they were already getting busy. I would definitely go back. read more
