My wife and visited Cali Pizza for the first time a week ago. What a great experience! The pizza was delicious. We ordered half creamy chicken tikka and half creamy butter chicken. What a great decision! The price due to the 40% off deal on Tuesday and Wednesday was quite affordable. And the hospitality of the team working there was unmatched. Both of the gentlemen were super friendly, and welcoming. We will certainly visit again! If you like pizza, but especially if you enjoy Indian pizzas, Cali Pizza is the spot for you! read more

Cali Pizza - Half creamy Butter Chicken Pizza and half creamy Pesto Lover - Salad Near Me - San Jose, California

We are vegetarians and we tried the creamy tandoori paneer pizza. The pizza was made exactly as per our preferences, medium spicy and well done! We have tried the pesto pizza too before and that was amazing as well! This pizza was in the same league as the other premium Indian pizza places in Bay Area which charge north of $45 for a large pizza. This place doesn't get enough love and I would highly recommend this place! read more

November 2025 Update This Thanksgiving, I'm especially grateful for Cali Pizza. Years after my first review, they're still the same honest, generous place. One bite of the paneer-pesto pie and I remember why I keep coming back--bright pesto, fresh onions and peppers, tender paneer, and a crisp, golden crust. It tastes like care. While prices everywhere jumped 30%+, they kept theirs fair without cutting quality or portions. That choice matters. It helps families share a good meal without worry, and it feels like neighbors cooking for neighbors. Thank you, Cali Pizza, for staying true to your food and to this community. You make gratitude easy this season. read more

Call in order & they were very friendly over the phone. Answered my questions about other items on the menu & were very helpful & willing to recommend items from the restaurant, they think we would like. Really appreciated during the call, we did not feel rushed or in a hurry to hang up during the conversation. Located in a shopping plaza, in between other restaurants, so you're going to have to for the place. They also have specials on the menu The 2 types of pizza we ordered was pretty good, nice flavors & it was winning for us, knowing they offer cauliflower crust. read more

Cali Pizza is solid and has deals: Mon wed thurs a large 1-topping is $12.99, and Tues/Wed a medium or large is 40% off! We got an Italian sausage large pizza and the total was about $14 after tax. Other than being a bit oily, it was delicious! We just used a napkin to dab the oil off and it was nice and tasty. read more

My son recommended Cali Pizza, he said a coworker bought it for a work lunch. We ordered a large Super Pepperoni Pizza, Garlic bread with Pineapple & Jalapeno, plus two bottles of Mexican Coke. We enjoyed what we ordered, I would appreciate d more sauce on the pizza, but the cheesy bread really knocked it out the park. Our food was hot and appetizing. The gentleman there gave friendly and courteous counter service when we placed our order. The restaurant is on the smaller size, but it's very clean and well lit. The booths are comfortable. I will come back to try a different style of pizza. Also, you can get great deals on Tuesday and Wednesday. We came on Wednesday and got 40% off our food. read more

Delicious Pizzas! Wonderfully and refreshingly friendly customer service! So much flavor and made with so much care! Perfectly cooked every time we have come here! My personal fave is the butter chicken pizza. Must try! One of the best pies in South San Jose! They offer great deals during the week and are always very quick! Can't beat the high quality pizza for the old school pizza price! Definitely comparable - if not better than - the "mountain" and "table" chains, if you know what I'm sayin! read more

This review is long overdue. I've ordered from here twice and both times the pizzas and service have been amazing. I've tried multiple things from the menu and they all tasted amazing. The second time I ordered, I ordered 4 pies and 2 sodas and I was the only one picking it up so I told them I'm going to have to take two trips to the car. Unfortunately, I'm forgetting his name but one of the employees helped me carry everything to my car. So if you're craving a pizza, you won't go wrong here. read more

This review is for a DoorDash delivery order. I was craving Indian pizza flavors and opted to do a taste test. I ordered one mini each of chicken curry, chicken tandoori, and butter chicken. Also ordered spicy bourbon hot wings. The delivery was on time and the food for hot and fresh. The flavors were great! read more

This place is definitely worth trying! The service is great and the quality of the food tastes amazing! The prices are a bit high if you don't come on a day where it's on sale. I would come on a Tuesday and Wednesday! We got the Tikka Masala chicken pizza, chicken combo, and the Butter chicken. I would say the best one out of the three would be the Tikka Masala chicken pizza because it had the best flavor! The pizzas are topped perfectly and we ordered them with extra sauce as well! Definitely would recommend supporting a local business if you're in the area. The ambiance is nothing special. read more

Honestly........ I was not impressed at all... really middle of the road, slightly better than Little Caesars type pizza.. Not sure why this place has a 4.7 rating, it seems to be very overrated.. With the Tuesday 40% off deal I paid $14 for a Medium, I just wish it was better quality.. I'd pass this one and opt for something like High Five pizza for something in the similar pizza style but wayyyy better ingredients read more

I usually went up Mountain Mikes nearby, always paying over $29 for a medium pie. I didn't think twice about it until one day when I saw Cali Pizza and decided I'd give it a try. I ordered my usual, which is a medium combination. I will tell you the price after I discussed my experience.. The place is really small with maybe four or five tables and it reminds me of the small mom and pop pizza places near where I lived as a kid. The Customer Service, there was really friendly and very relaxing. Everyone had a smile on their face and they were always friendly.. My Medium combination pizza only took about 10 minutes, which was surprisingly much shorter than Mountain Mikes, which is a bigger pizza place with more employees. My pizza itself was amazing and it literally was much better than I expected. The cross was nice and crisp, but had a little bit of chew in it just enough to satisfy with every bite. The collection of toppings was spot on with not too many or too little of any particular ingredient. All of the toppings were fresh, whether it was protein or veggies.. Everything was cooked to perfection without being raw or burnt. They had applied the perfect amount of cheese. It was enough to enhance the pie without overwhelming the toppings.. The collection of meat was particularly noticeable because it was so seasoned and flavorful. The pepperoni was really zesty, and I particularly enjoyed the Italian sausage which reminded me of roundtable when I was a kid growing up.. So, with all of this, how much did it cost? $15 dollars... I am totally sold on Cali Pizza!!! read more

So happy we found an Indian style pizza place nearby! We called in an order for pickup and it was ready within 20 minutes. When we arrived, our pizza was ready and the worker let us know about some deals they have (such as 40% off on Tuesdays). The place is small, but there was still plenty of seating. I highly recommend checking this place out! read more

I love CaliPizza! My husband and I stumbled upon CaliPizza when we were in the plaza looking for a late night meal. It was our first time trying the Garlic Chicken Pizza and we were very impressed with the quality of the pizza. Since then, we haven't gotten pizza from anywhere else as it is now our favorite pizza place. Great pizzas, great service, great prices! I have ordered from CaliPizza many times for work lunches and department parties many times and it has been a company's favorite. From my coworkers, the sandwiches and Indian Pizzas are pretty good too. The Garlic Combination Pizza is a personal favorite. The churros are so good when they're fresh hot! The owner is super nice and considerate. Thank you for always meeting my random requests and cutting my pizza slices smaller than usual. read more

Perfect place for a good food / pizza and services at its best , always love to enjoy their pizza in the evenings .must go and enjoy .

Got the creamy chicken tikka masala pizza. Not going to lie the pizza was 9/10 for me.. good spice savory flavor, not excessively greasy nor salty. The bread was a 10/10 compared to all other pizza breads I've had. Overall the guys there sure know how to select quality ingredients for their pizza. Service wasn't special, just a guy behind a bar top counter top takes your order. That's to be expected since the place is a small hole in the wall with two people working. read more

I celebrated with a pizza party at home, featuring delicious pizzas from Cali Pizza (Snell Ave.), where they offer 50% off pizzas on Wednesdays. We ordered the Combination, Hawaiian, and Indian Butter Chicken pizzas--plus a half Spicy Hawaiian because I love jalapeños and pineapple together! The chicken wings were absolutely perfect--crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. The food was fresh baked and delicious. My family really enjoyed the food. read more

I have to give Cali Pizza another 5 star review. Amazing quality pizza and always top notch customer service. This is my families favor pizza spot. Indian food has been the greatest thing to pizza. What a great fusion of flavors. I normally just get pizza, but I decided to try Rhett wings. I got the Cali Style bone-in wings. Tremendous!!! What a flavor bomb! I highly recommend these. Yum! Ordered via Doordash today on New Year's Eve even though I live a couple minutes away from here lol. My husband & I decided to stay indoors due to the rainy weather and enjoy some Indian pizza. We ordered a large half tandoori chicken and half tikka chicken masala pizza. The pizza tasted amazing as it looked. It was full of flavor and spicy. Just how Indian pizza should be! Next time, I'll order for pick-up and try out the butter chicken pizza. The other Indian fusion items like the tacos, pasta, and calzones look interesting, too. Can't wait to try other yummy items. This Indian fusion pizza place was pretty good. We ordered for takeout and it was fresh and hot when we picked it up. They were so generous with the toppings and the employees made the process fast and easy. read more

Best pizza place in San Jose! And I've lived here for 20+ years. Quality service and reasonable prices as well. 10/10 recommend.

The good: I love Indian pizzas and think pizzas with influence from all sorts of different cultures are great. I love Vietnamese pizzas, Indian pizzas, Italian pizzas, Japanese pizzas, Mexican pizzas, etc. I was excited to try this place because of their unique Indian offerings. I had to order gluten-free pizza for a friend with diet restrictions and this place came to the rescue. I tried a large butter chicken pizza, nuggets, and a small chicken pizza that I customized myself. I loved that they had lifestyle options like cauliflower crust and gluten-free. I ordered for delivery and my order came on time and was packaged well. The bad: The Indian pizzas for gluten-free crusts only come in a size large. The butter chicken was a bit too sweet. The crust on the custom pizza was hard and not tasty. The toppings were also dry. The nuggets were also dry. My 5 guests didn't have anything positive to say about the pizza (though they didn't say anything negative either). This may have all been due to the gluten-free crust. The interesting: They also offer some Indian pastas, desserts and mango lassi. read more

I started ordering pizza from this place a few months ago. Found it here on Yelp and decided to try it based on the positive reviews. It did not disappoint. This pizza is delicious! First time ordering from Cali Pizza, after reading their Yelp reviews we decided to give them a try. Called in an order for delivery and the customer service was friendly and fast. Only disappointment was they only offer specials if you pick up. We ordered a large combination $25.99 and a small pepperoni $11.99. Keep in mind they charge a $4.99 delivery charge. I called in the order at 7:00 and the food was delivered to our door by 7:29! Talk about fast pizza! The pizza wasn't great but it also wasn't bad, if that makes sense. If we do order again, I'll ask they cook it a little bit longer for a little crust crunch. I do like that they have many pizza options which all sound pretty good. read more

My dad ordered a combination pizza for Tuesday dinner. OMG it was freaking awesome! I haven't had a good pizza for awhile! Since I'm a fan of a thin crust pizza so I didn't have a lot of hope for their pizza since I thought it's not what I prefer... But after trying it, it's so good . I think they have special discount for Tuesday for 40% off. But tbh, their pizza was delicious! I will definitely come back and try more flavor! Good job for a new business! Whenever I drop off packages at UPS next door, I've wanted to try their pizza. I ordered to go on the Slice App, which gave me a discount. I ordered a large pepperoni, which was ready in 20 mins.
