I usually went up Mountain Mikes nearby, always paying over $29 for a medium pie. I didn't think twice about it until one day when I saw Cali Pizza and decided I'd give it a try. I ordered my usual, which is a medium combination. I will tell you the price after I discussed my experience.. The place is really small with maybe four or five tables and it reminds me of the small mom and pop pizza places near where I lived as a kid. The Customer Service, there was really friendly and very relaxing. Everyone had a smile on their face and they were always friendly.. My Medium combination pizza only took about 10 minutes, which was surprisingly much shorter than Mountain Mikes, which is a bigger pizza place with more employees. My pizza itself was amazing and it literally was much better than I expected. The cross was nice and crisp, but had a little bit of chew in it just enough to satisfy with every bite. The collection of toppings was spot on with not too many or too little of any particular ingredient. All of the toppings were fresh, whether it was protein or veggies.. Everything was cooked to perfection without being raw or burnt. They had applied the perfect amount of cheese. It was enough to enhance the pie without overwhelming the toppings.. The collection of meat was particularly noticeable because it was so seasoned and flavorful. The pepperoni was really zesty, and I particularly enjoyed the Italian sausage which reminded me of roundtable when I was a kid growing up.. So, with all of this, how much did it cost? $15 dollars... I ordered for delivery and my order came on time and was packaged well. The bad: The Indian pizzas for gluten-free crusts only come in a size large. The butter chicken was a bit too sweet. The crust on the custom pizza was hard and not tasty. The toppings were also dry. The nuggets were also dry. My 5 guests didn't have anything positive to say about the pizza (though they didn't say anything negative either). This may have all been due to the gluten-free crust.
