Bona Pizza is a small pizza joint located in the Waterford Plaza. There is plenty of parking in this shopping center. Simple interior with a several tables to sit at. It could accommodate a group of 8 people if you are allowed to move tables. The service was nice and friendly. 10-12 minutes for my pizza lunch. Meal #1 $7.99: A personal 8" one topping pizza plus Shasta soda. The pizza crust was thin, crisp, but had a nice chew. The owner came out and greeted me and chatted a bit. Super nice guy! My union catered to us a few Bonazilla pizzas and at a whopping 24" this thing was massive. I was quite amazed, and their pizza was pretty good. Good chew to the crust and a good amount of toppings. I went ahead and created a spreadsheet of the price per area for their pizzas and their deals. It seems like the best value if you're only looking at amount of pizza and ignore amount of toppings would be the Easy Deal online, being a specialty pizza and a 1 topping of the same size at 0.06 cents per inch square of pizza. I went with a large Spinach Garlic Pizza. This is one beautiful looking Pizza Pie. The Crust is Phenomenal. It's so light, but packed with flavor, Baked right in. I like how the Spinach is cooked just right, barely wilted. There's so much contrasting textures. And I like how there is Feta Cheese in it, that's kinda different. I never had a calzone before and this will be the beginning of adding to my Italian food choices. Service was great, fast and ready for pick up. Their restaurant was spotless clean inside. Italiana pizza -- creamy garlic sauce, mozz cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, garlic tomatoes, green onion, and Italian sausage. Pesto cheese breadsticks with marinara sauce. I liked both pizzas equally. I'm a white sauce more than red sauce person mmmm. Prices range from $25-$33 depending on size. We were all satisfied with our meal. I will need to try their calzones next time! Grew up in San Jose and finally found one of the best pizzerias. We wanted to sample a bit of our family's faves and did half orders of pepperoni/Hawaiian and chickn bake/combo. My favorite was the chickn bake, it reminds me of Costco's but better! Everything tastes fresh and delicious. The price is fair, however the crust was quite dry. The toppings were distributed evenly. The pizza as you can see was well topped, however they were stingy w/ the sauce (my opinion) so it made the overall experience subpar. Located in the Lucky's plaza. W/ various shops (cleaners, grocery, bakery, haircut place, UPS, a learning center, Cha Cha Sushi, boba place, hot pot, Subway, Egg Head, banks, Taco Bell, Aquis, and etc.). Calzone was nice and hefty, like a Costco chicken-bake but 10x bigger& better lol. Greek Feta pizza was delicious and filling (didn't make me feel gross afterwards, like other lower-quality pizzas). What really stood out though were the sweet & spicy wings! I've had the sauce with lumpia and egg rolls before, but have never thought to put it on chicken wings!! Such a great combo, we were mind-blown. The person who took our order (pretty sure it was the owner) was very nice.
