Mushroom Quiche
Angelica G.

We came in for a quick breakfast and everything we tried was delightful! We had the mushroom quiche, which was flavorful and perfectly baked. The breakfast croissant was also very well done, buttery, and satisfying. Surprisingly, what stood out the most to me was the cornbread (at least I think it was cornbread!). I'm usually not a fan of this kind of sweet, but I absolutely loved it here, it was moist, slightly sweet, and super comforting. Our coffees were also well made and paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, it was a lovely spot for a cozy morning bite.

We biked over to visit downtown Campbell and stopped for a snack at OVC. I love the open, comfy atmosphere with a combo of tables, couches and upholstered chairs. Although we were too late for breakfast, there were still a number of pastries and quiches available in the case, along with some desserts. I had the Mexicali quiche which combined jalapenos, black olives, red pepper and lid of cheese with other deliciousness. My wife had a half egg salad sandwich, which she says was good. We also had an iced matcha latte and iced Americano. Both very good. They were doing a surprisingly brisk business for mid-afternoon on a Wednesday, and they were training a new cashier, but the service was very polite, and they got the order right. They even brought the food out when there was a delay.

Love this little cafe. Super comfy. Lots of seating options. Great food! Delicious coffee. And super fast and friendly service. They have a $5 minimum for credit cards, so bring cash if you just want a coffee since prices are so cheap!

Dragon fruit Italian soda

Perfect spot to grab your coffee and do your work or catch up with friends. The place is located in Campbell downtown, parking can be hard to find sometimes, but it's a very nice area to grab your coffee and walk around. The inside is spacious and has a very warm vibe to it. There are plenty of chairs and table that you can just sit and do your works. The only downside is a lot of them are not near any outlets, so make sure you charge your devices before coming in to do your work. The servers were nice and friendly, you can ask them for help with the menu if it's your first time there. I got the dragonfruit Italian soda because I wasn't feeling caffeine at that moment, it does not taste good at all. It was plain and tasted almost like just water with pink color. I would recommend to try their coffee menu instead of going adventurous with your drinks here lol Overall, it's a nice and cool looking coffee shop to sit and relax inside with your typical choices from an American coffee shop.

I love this little local spot!! They always have a number of delicious cakes, pastries, sandwiches, as well as refreshing drinks!! Apparently they have a new drink that I didn't know about, which is what I got! I am holding a dragon, fruit lemonade, spritzer!! It's quite literally a dragon, fruit juice mixed with lemonade and then some seltzer water! Perfect for a sunny afternoon since it was 87° outside!! I also love the fact that this café is a working café with a number of chairs for their customers to sit in and lounge!! A lot of people do work/homework here and hang out granted it's kind of warm for me to be indoors, getting this dragon fruit lemonade spritzer was a nice way to cool off on my afternoon walk!! I love checking out downtown Campbell and also found some really great deals at Bombshell and Besties Boutique!! You guys should really check out those women clothing stores as well!!

One of my favorite independent coffee shops in Campbell. I've been coming here for decades. Every trip to downtown Campbell usually involves a visit to this coffee haven. Good pastries too. This place has a big interior and outside seating to people watch as you drink your caffeinated beverage. I enjoyed the ambiance and food as well. It's always nice to order a coffee and then talk a stroll along the street to window shop or check out the bookstore.

This place has been around for a while and understandably so - it has a nice amount of food and drinks, ample seating, and is in a good location, literally in the heart of Campbell downtown. I persoanlly have enjoyed coming here earlier in the morning when it's quieter and there's less people. Service is alright, and the vibe of the coffee shop is a bit older-fashioned, hence my 4 star rating. But it is still a coffee shop I have visited a lot in the past and plan to still stop by if I'm in the area every once in a while.

He explained that they are a small batch bakery. All the pastries, behind the glass, looked amazing and were decorated so beautifully. I decided to get one Lemon-Raspberry Meringue Tart and one Mix Berry Vanilla Creme Tart. Mr. Manaois boxed up my selections and helped me at the register. They also gave many varieties of hot beverages, sweet and savory scones and sweet and savory croissants. There are also a lot of different pastries. This would be a great place to have a small relaxing breakfast. There are several places inside to enjoy your goodies. Both desserts, that I purchased, were so delicious. My favorite was the lemon raspberry meringue tart. The tartness of the lemon-raspberry filling worked so perfectly with the delicious sweet meringue. I will definitely come here again to try other items.

I've been here a few times, and I honestly don't know why I haven't reviewed this place yet…read more The moment you walk into Manresa Bread, you're greeted right away. The space has a modern yet warm feel with beautiful natural wood finishes, fresh loaves of sourdough lining the shelves, pastries displayed in the case, and a mix of large communal wood tables, regular seating, and high-top tables. It's the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The staff was friendly and helped us choose both a pastry and our toast. They were also happy to customize our order--we asked for the levain sourdough toast with butter instead of the usual olive oil. That toast was absolutely divine. The sourdough had the perfect balance: chewy without being too sour, with a crust that was crisp but not so hard that it fought back. Easily the best sourdough toast I've had in the Bay Area. If you come here, this is the one thing you have to order. The only disappointment was the butter. They serve French butter, but for an extra $2, the portion was tiny and honestly nothing special. I've had better butter from Whole Foods. It didn't take away from how incredible the bread was, but it wasn't worth the upcharge. Their Kouign-amann is also one of the best I've ever had. Instead of the typical flat, flaky style, theirs is taller with countless buttery layers that create an amazing texture. The cappuccino was another highlight. It had subtle notes of orange peel, whiskey, and cardamom, making it unique. The latte art was beautiful too. Overall, Manresa Bread is one of those cafés that makes you want to sit down with a laptop or a book and spend a few hours there. The only downside is there are no power outlets, so come with a full battery if you're planning to work. Must orders: Levain sourdough toast with butter and the Kouign-amann. Both are worth the trip.

After checking out their yelp page I saw they had food as well so the plan was set to go for lunch. There's a small but empty enough parking lot along with street parking. I walked over around lunch time and there was one person ahead of me. I ordered a steak torta which seemed promising. The lady who took my order twisted my arm into getting a licuado (milkshake). While waiting for my food, I went next door for a drink and chips. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes and the line had grew by that time. The torta was really tasty and fresh, all the ingredients hit the notes needed. The bread stood out in good and bad ways. The flavor was above average but it crumbled quite a bit. There was enough inside to hold up to the thick bread so I cant complain. My biggest gripe is there wasn't any salsa on the side and I didnt see any in the store. Maybe I just didnt ask? But if there is some available, this place could be a hit out the park. There was also a slight taste of tuna in my sandwich. They may have used the same spatula for the mayo as the tuna perhaps, im not sure. I didn't get sick or anything so I won't complain too much, just mentioning it. Salsa woulda covered it and elevated it but this is just my take. The licuado was standard mexican childhood approved. 7 bones for the drink and my total was like 19 bucks. Thats very fair because the torta is filling enough for barely 11 dollars, great value.

For my family of three we definitely got over excited in order too much, but each bite was delicious. We got a leek quiche, a banana latte, spinach, artichoke danish, mango croissant, almond croissant, and a ham and cheese croissant. I was trying to increase the protein to not spike my blood sugar. Lol. I'd have to say the mango and the almond croissant were probably my favorite. The strong second would definitely be the artichoke and spinach croissant danish thing. Sorry, I forgot what they called it. They offered to heat it up a bit and I definitely recommend this. They did the perfect temperature for the perfect timing. Just enough to make the outside flaky and the inside warm and soft. The pieces that had cheeses were so much better warmed up. They definitely know what they're doing there. Seating was great. I'd love the decor. You can also order off of a menu, but we were too enamored with the actual pastries to even glance at it. I took photos but made sure to not take photos of the staff.
