I don't know if the burger COOKS the burgers per say but it definitely assembles them! Another table ordered a burger so we were all able to enjoy the spectacle. Souffle Pancake: not super jiggly but it was yummy so all is forgiven! Churro French Toast: I wish we ordered more. This was so good! The photos online made it look SUPER sweet but it was perfectly sweet and not overbearing at all! The hawaiian rolls were a perfect fit for these kinds of french toast. Fo Sizzle (beef): my word. I loved this. This place left us absolutely speechless. The best thing about a restaurant is when they offer dishes you can't find anywhere else, and this is one of those places. Starting off with atmosphere, the dining room is elegant when it comes to the look and even the gold trimmed furniture. There was also surprisingly a DJ playing the entire time (throwback R&B jams that fit the brunch vibe). RBF: subbed the coffee syrup for coconut syrup and it paired really well with the pandan waffle. The chicken are thighs compared to some places that will just use tenders and the breading tasted so flavorful. Pho poutine: what I meant by something you can't find anywhere else! First their pho poutine fries: what a fun unique combo of an appetizer that's both crispy and soft from the pho toppings. It's a LARGE plate too so you can definitely share this. The entire shrimp is easily eaten (only the tail still has the shell but it's pretty crunchy) - We didn't seem to get half of the described items like lettuce, green apple, possibly papaya, and purple onions. 2. Crispy pork belly fried rice - Pork cubes were halfway between crispy and soft/fatty. Red like Chinese char siu (barbequed) and delicious - Taste of truffle unagi sauce in the rice was pretty faint but overall rice texture and taste were excellent 3. Fo sizzle: Beef cubes were super tender as were the cooked cherry tomatoes! Also came with two poached eggs. There's quite a bit of sauce at the bottom - I think oyster sauce and other marinades so it tastes like shaking beef. 4. You know when you go to an air bnb and the pictures online look gorgeous but you get there and it's really just cheap finishes that don't even appear to be clean? That's how breaking dawn felt I knew it wasn't going to be great when we came in for Sunday brunch and the place wasn't even busy. I ended up ordering the beef fo sizzle which is their most popular brunch item. $29 for 6 pieces of cubed beef, two unseasoned eggs, and half a banh mi roll. Beautiful decor with a focus on the small details. This LG gem did not disappoint this morning. We came in for brunch and had FANTASTIC SERVICE. The menu here is pretty large - they serve brunch, apps, and burgers during the first half of the day. This place is certainly pricey, but we really enjoyed it. The soufflé pancakes took about 20-25 minutes (they warn you in advance) and were excellent. The Fo Sizzle plate had two eggs, two large slices of baguette, and a generous serving of beef. They have a full bar and lots of non-alcoholic drink options too (Vietnamese coffee was AH-MAZING). They also have a machine that apparently assembles burgers?!? Came here with my group of girl pals for a lovely brunch. We were a group of 6 adults and some kids. I started with the caramel coffee at the bar while I waited for the gang to come. The bar server attended to me right away. We finally got seated and started ordering some apps like the truffle fries, tacos and stuff. I got the noodles with chicken and my friend got the eggs Benedict. They had a lot of options which was good for a big group like ours. It's an Asian fusion menu but honestly, this is exactly what you could expect from a hawaiian brunch point of view. I had the crispy pork belly rice dish and my partner in crime (Mom's) had the resting brunch face, pancakes and fried chicken. And that chicken is pure Crack a lackin good!!! Found this place on Yelp and it was a game changer. Bottomless mimosas and right across the street from the weekend farmers market. Came here because we had planned to go to Oktober fest but plans changed after we ate here and were super satisfied. I had the crab cake burrito and swallowed it lol. Place is a very nice chill spot. This spot has probably been here over a year, but we hadn't got around to trying it. It's a Vietnamese/American/Asian fusion brunch spot. It seems odd at first, but it just works and pretty much everything we sampled was super tasty! I had the sesame grilled chicken salad, this was very crispy and crunchy and refreshing on a hot day. The dressing wasn't too overpowering and the chicken was excellent and clearly marinaded nicely before grilling. We also shared the beef poutine which was delicious! My wife had an omelette which she enjoyed and we also couldn't resist the soufflé pancakes. These took a long time to arrive, so order early. It made for a great desert (which we all shared). Had a reservation for 14 here on a Saturday morning at 11:30am. The table before us was still seated when we arrived but we were ok with it since it was traffic and a portion of our party had yet to arrive. Then when I showed up at 12:25, the host asked if I'd like to sit near the wall next to the windows, I said yes, and they went to clean up another table and left me waiting at the door. Water was refilled, recommendations were offered and we were even reminded to go watch the burger packaging machine when our order was made. So onto the ambiance, it is VERY NICE! Elegant decoration, with a DJ playing music the whole time, and a burger packaging machine gimmick at the back, a nice bar table with a flashy shelf against the wall, even the restrooms are nicely modeled. Everything spells comfort and elegance. The menu was like a printed daily newspaper. i ordered a Pep in Your Step $17 cocktail with Real Del Valle Reposado, Lychee, Lime, Peppercorn, Agave Ginger, and Peychaud. It tasted quite strong in alcohol and a tad more lychee juice may sweetened it for me. The presentation looked pretty. I also ordered a Pho Poutine as it looked very creative and 5 stars! The dish was loaded in huge portions as a starter, the aroma of pho broth hovered around our table as soon as the dish was brought onto the table. The potato was crispy, the beef was soft and the cheese was soft and stringy, what a perfect combination! For the machine gimmick, we ordered Banh Mi Burger. The burger patty was still cooked at the kitchen by the chef, but the assembling and pacaking (aka put the burger in the box) was done by the massive machine at the back. After the burger was assembled, it was placed inside a box, along with the fries in another box. We were just given the 2 boxes, no dishes even came with the burger. lol....So if you only want to check out the machine, I guess you can just order a take out and watch it done there. The burger tasted good, but a burger is a burger, kinda hard to have a break through IMHO. To conclude, highlights are great decoration, pho poutine and good service. read more

First time here, would def come back to try other items from their menu! Their menu was very interesting, their Asian fusion dishes were unique & the ones we ordered tasted pretty good. We tried their Banh xeo tacos, garlic noodles with beef & chicken pandan waffle. All the proteins were flavorful & the chicken paired well with the pandan waffle! Ambiance was nice, we were able to get a table right away as we chose to sit outside. They played good music. Service was great. I also tried their Salted cream viet coffee. It was a bit sweet, but viet coffee flavor was spot on. Overall, I would recommend! read more

(Late review May 2024) Hubby and I wanted to go on a brunch date and stumbled upon this spot. We dig it! It's a Vietnamese fusion brunch spot, and tbh, I get a little skeptical when it comes to Asian fusion flavors in a non-Vietnamese area. The staff is very courteous. The atmosphere is lively, they have live music on the weekends I believe. The live music can get a bit loud, but if you don't mind it, then you'll enjoy it. We were intrigued by the phở poutine, so that was one of the items we ordered. We also ordered bánh xèo tacos, salted crema coffee, and fried chicken burger. The poutine was BOMB!!!! SO GOOD! We were so shocked at how good it was and how it actually tasted like phở! The coffee was incredible. I'm not a coffee person and I wanted to finish the whole drink myself! Bánh xèo tacos was a no go for me. It was very hard and dry, the sauce was okay, not as much umami as I'd like it to be. Actual bánh xèo doesn't become hard even when you leave it out for a bit. Fast forward to July 2025, we came back. This time we ordered pho poutine, salted crema coffee, burrito, and a burger from the burger bot. Poutine and coffee were solid! Just as good as the previous year. Burrito was lacking flavor to me, it was very one note. My husband said the burger was pretty good. They have a robot making the burger in the restaurant and it was pretty cool. We've already decided we will no longer share the pho poutine but will be getting an order each, lol! After seeing this place featured on NBC Bay Area news, my husband and I wanted to try it out for brunch. We went on a Saturday around 1PM. The ambience is very modern and clean, with a flashy interior that's fun to look at. We ordered the popular Pho Poutine and it was super delicious! Pretty good overall. I've been here a few times-- there are a few things I think are amazing and a few others that are so so. Definitely love the soufflé pancakes. Those are a must get. The sesame ginger chicken salad was pretty good, not the best I've ever had. Can't remember the name of the cocktail I had, but it was great. Came to Breaking Dawn Brunch for the 2nd time on a Sunday at around 930am and there was no wait. We chose to sit outside and our waiter Raymond quickly got us waters and menus. The outdoor parklet seating is nice and clean with some cute planters on both ends. RBF: the pandan waffle itself was very light in flavor, but the café sua da syrup went perfectly with the waffle and helped balance out the umami of the chicken, which was nicely breaded and crunchy but still tender inside. Even though there was only one strawberry cut into quarters as garnish, it was perfectly ripe. It would've been nice if there was a bit more fruit to balance out the chicken and waffles though. Pho Poutine: I've gotten this before, and it's still just as good as before - a generous heaping of tender meat with very umami gravy that perfectly melts the cheese. The potatos are piping hot and lightly crispy. Everything is very umami - almost a little too much. It would be nice if the dishes came with a side salad or something fresh to balance out how rich everything else. Despite the price, the portion sizes are large, and Breaking Dawn Brunch is one of the few options for Sunday brunch without a wait. read more
