My partner and I had an amazing time dining here at breaking dawn for our anniversary!! Breaking dawn has a classy, luxurious atmosphere in the heart of downtown Campbell. There's various parking garages that you can find and it's within walking distance. We arrived around 10:30 am for our Sunday reservation. They have a reservation system! Our server, William, was spectacular. It was our first time there, so he was as very thorough and patient with us and offered several recommendations to make our brunch special. The restaurant also has a burger making machine so you should order a burger to get a show. We ordered the following: - Banh Xeo Tacos: crunchy, lots of flavor, and great fish sauce on the side. Very refreshing from the fresh herbs. - Shrimp Goi: there's some spice because of jalapeños but it's a dish of so many delicious flavors from spicy, savory, and sweet. Great medley of vegetables that make an excellent appetizer. - Loco Moco: heavy, heart meat dish with rice and burger patty! Lots of gravy sauce that was so filling. - Pho Poutine Fries: a heaping serving of fries with cheese, gravy, and short rib. Chef's kiss! We had an amazing time and would love to come again! read more

Came here for lunch on Saturday around 1pm. They were quite busy, and we got seated at the bar. I liked their concept of having two restaurants with different menus at the same location (Breaking Dawn for brunch and First Born for dinner). Inside was modern and inviting. They had an outdoor patio as well. There's a burger bot at the back, but we didn't see it working. Their fusion menu looked very interesting. My husband and I ordered two dishes to share. The Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice was quite tasty. I liked the sunny side egg, pickled onions and the sauce, but the pork belly was a little too dry for me, and the skin wasn't crispy. Maybe if they leave the pork belly on the side and let you mix it in yourself, the skin would stay crispier. The Crab Cakin' Bacon Burrito was a solid dish. It came with fries and a dipping sauce. There're fries inside the burrito as well. I could taste the bacon and egg, but there wasn't enough crab cake inside unfortunately. Service was just ok. They did check on us in the beginning and brought us a Vietnamese hot sauce, Chin-Su, which paired really well with both of our dishes. However, our water was never refilled. read more

Came here for a double date with my sister and we loved it! We tried a little bit of everything the rice plate, ube pancakes, chicken with pandan waffles, tacos *a bit hard to bite on but good, and the meat & pancakes plate. Everything was really good, and I especially loved being able to try different Asian inspired flavors. The place itself was really nice and had such a good vibe. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and bring friends and family! IG @imajaay read more

Super delicious brunch and lunch spot right across from the farmers market on Sundays. I had low expectations because vietnamese food in Los Gatos? We ordered the pho poutine, the pork belly fried rice, and the shrimp goi salad. I also had the coconut vietnamese coffee. The standout dish for me is the pork belly fried rice, it was so tasty and the pork wasn't too fatty. The pho poutine is good too but you have to eat it fresh while it's hot, and while it was good and the meat tender I don't think I'd crave it again however it is super unique! The shrimp goi salad was good, kinda sweet, and added a nice refreshing crunch to the rest of the food which was on the richer and oiler side. Definitely do not skimp out on the coconut vietnamese ice coffee, so decadent and strong! read more

Tried this restaurant again for brunch. I made a reservation for 7 people two days in advance. They do take reservations with credit card details and there is a charge involved if cancellations are not done on time. This is all the food we ordered : Crispy pork belly fried rice - 10/10 and a must have. Fo Sizzle - 8/10. It was flavorful. Only thing I didn't like was it was a tad bit oily Noods please - 10/10. We ordered with Tofu. It was really good Buttered pancakes - 10/10. It was for the kids and they loved it Tofu Banh Mi - 7/10. Without any kind of sauce on side, it was a bit dry Iced coffee - 10/10 if you love coffee As for service, this time we got better service than the last time. They were cordial and paid attention to our custom requests. read more

This place is so good! I love the fusion and all of what the menu has to offer. My favorites were definitely the chicken and pandan waffles, ube pancakes and the pho poutine. I literally dream of the pho poutine. It's so unique and so flavorful. It's also pretty surprising on how it tastes like pho! This is also such a beautiful restaurant, perfect for those instagram pictures. I really want to come back when I can! read more

The interior is decorated pretty nicely and it's definitely targeting people that want to enjoy a casual lunch in a fancier setting. I ended up getting a chicken salad that was surprisingly tasty. The chicken was tender and moist while there were enough textures and flavors in the salad to keep it interesting. Service is friendly and got my friend and I situated pretty quickly. There does look to be a pretty well stocked bar so it seems like this place could be good place to get cocktails. read more

I loved this place! I had the chicken and waffles which had a viet coffee maple syrup which was good. I am not the biggest coffee fan but I was a fan of this. While I was there I saw the burger bot which makes burgers and I cannot wait to come back soon and see the burger bot in action! They were accommodating to our big party and everybody enjoyed their meal here. 10/10! read more

Great place for some Vietnamese fusion in Downtown Los Gatos! Came here for brunch with some friends. There's plenty of parking nearby along the streets as well as some lots. The place is very unique and can be easily found. Inside the restaurant, there is plenty of seating. The menu we got was printed on newspaper which I thought was a really cool touch. Tastes: - Pho Poutine: Was not expecting this to be as good as it was. Straight up taste like pho with some fries and gravy. Super delicious and was a favorite for all of us. - Ooo Bae Pancakes: Ube pancakes. Nice and fluffy and super flavorful. It was a lot lighter than we thought but it was really good. - Noods Please: Garlic noodles. A solid option but wasn't as great as the other items in my opinion. Still good though don't get me wrong. - Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice: The truffle unagi sauce definitely makes this. Super rich and tons of umami. Really good! Overall, a great place for some Vietnamese fusion brunch! I really thought everything here was great and would 100% come back. read more

this is a vietnamese fusion brunch spot and as someone who is vietnamese, I LOVE THIS PLACE!! FOOD: delicious and unique pho poutine 10/10 - the pho flavor comes through SO well - i cant fathom a pho poutine tasting better than this RBF 10/10 - pandan waffles, fried chicken, ca phe sua da Syrup - such a genius combination..... i think about this dish very often and what i compare to whenever i try other chicken and waffle dishes Coconut coffee 9/10 Pork belly fried rice 7/10 - standard! nothing extraordinary but delicious :) Banh xeo tacos 6.5/10 - I personally wouldn't order this again. The idea is good in theory but I left wishing I got more out of it. I wish the shell resembled like a banh xeo more ube pancakes I only had a bite of this and WOW the ube flavor really comes through Service: - Very accommodating when it comes to seating. I've has a party / reservation for 10 people before - I love coming here for birthdays, they always give the birthday person a treat :) Ambiance: - Lovely decor and space - Every time I've come here, there's a DJ. I don't mind, but it's definitely not the typical brunch vibe you would expect as DJ can get loud. read more

We recently visited a modern fusion Vietnamese restaurant in Los Gatos for breakfast and brunch, which features a DJ. The place was bustling when we arrived, but fortunately, we had made a reservation a few days in advance. The interior is beautifully designed, resembling a Western restaurant rather than an Asian one. The restaurant offers full bar service, including cocktails, wine, and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The menu is pleasantly concise. For appetizers, we chose the Banh Xeo Taco and Pho Poutine. For the main course, we ordered the Resting Brunch Face (RBF) and Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice. We also tried the "Sleep When You're Dead" (Café Sua Da) and coconut coffee. The food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Banh Xeo Taco and Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice. The coffee was also excellent. While the prices are on the higher side given the portions, it's understandable given the Los Gatos location and the unique dining experience they aim to provide. read more

A heavily-hyped (by Tik Tok and Instagram influencers) brunch spot in downtown Los Gatos I was prepared to be bored by, yet surprisingly, despite all the flash, had decent food. I hate the ambiance. The DJ is too loud, tables are too tightly packed together, and everything about it screams Snapchat filters. Service was totally fine - though I never did figure out why they have robots on the side of the room. Parking is a nightmare. But the food: pretty good. The pandan waffle was well made, even though there are better options in East San Jose. The chicken that came with benefited from sauce. The tacos coated with shrimp had a nice distinct Vietnamese flavor. It's interesting fusion, especially for brunch, but it works despite all the glitz around it. read more

This place left us absolutely speechless. The best thing about a restaurant is when they offer dishes you can't find anywhere else, and this is one of those places. Starting off with atmosphere, the dining room is elegant when it comes to the look and even the gold trimmed furniture. There was also surprisingly a DJ playing the entire time (throwback R&B jams that fit the brunch vibe). RBF: subbed the coffee syrup for coconut syrup and it paired really well with the pandan waffle. The chicken are thighs compared to some places that will just use tenders and the breading tasted so flavorful. Pho poutine: what I meant by something you can't find anywhere else! It's definitely meant to be shared - super filling and such a unique dish. Banh mi pho dip: probably our least favorite as the meat is definitely chewy, but the broth was really good. We would come back for sure! There's so many dishes we want to try.. but I don't know if I would even want to get anything else with how good the above was already! read more

Food Noodle please ($17) + Prawn ($10) - It was fine but I'd skip it. It's like garlic noodles and kind of on the heavier side. Loco Moco ($24) - I'd order this one again. It's a beef patty with a sunny side up egg on a bed of rice with gravy. Tasty and the pickled onions help cut some of the fattiness. There was a lot on the menu that seemed intriguing but there was only so much I could order. Service It was fine. Got seated almost immediately and food came out at a reasonable time. Nothing over the top but also not neglected. Ambiance They have a burger bot which is fun to watch. It's a nicer up scale restaurant. It's heavily Vietnamese inspired infusion spot. read more

such a unique asian fusion brunch place, especially with vietnamese dishes I've never thought i would see at a brunch spot! RBF 8/10 - this was their take on chicken and waffles. they made a pandan waffle (very viet) with a cafe su da (viet coffe) syrup, which i thought was super interesting, it actually tasted like a coffee thick syrup. the chicken was pretty big and juicy Vietnamese Coffee 7/10 - this was not bad, i like mine tasting like the classic vietnamese coffee, so if you want something more elevated and creamier, this is what they were going for Banh Xeo Tacos *discontinued* - these tacos were massive! and they loaded it up with the protein, it was more like 2 burritos. i actually enjoyed these alot since they grilled the protein, but it was a little hard to eat bar area is beautiful and they have live dj's here sometimes, which can get pretty loud and hard to talk, but love the ambiance and the decor here! read more

ABSOLUTELY loved coming to this place, I actually came here two days in a row their interior and menu is so aesthetic also! First their pho poutine fries: what a fun unique combo of an appetizer that's both crispy and soft from the pho toppings. It's a LARGE plate too so you can definitely share this. Absolutely must have is the churro French toast, it's a Hawaiian sweet bun with a vanilla custard stuffed inside!! It comes with 4 pieces so it's the perfect little sweet treat to share. The loco moco was ok, only because I like my gravy a little more thick and this one was definitely thinner! RBF?! Amazing pandan waffle with three pieces of boneless chicken breast? Thigh? Either way deliciously crispy. It comes with a hazelnut syrup on the side and it all pairs wonderfully. Our server both days came to check in multiple times and the food comes out quickly! Definitely come check out the vibes! Sometimes they have a live DJ as well on weekends! read more

Food tastes great but I'm noticing now that more than one dish had missing items (compared to menu description). We made a reservation but parking around the area is fairly difficult so plan to head there early. It was pretty loud with the DJ and birthday party or something but atmosphere was fun and upbeat. Each time we ordered, the food came out within 10 minutes. 1. Shrimp goi - Turned out to be like a salad/appetizer so we ordered another entree. Not sure if the Vietnamese vinegraitte was added on (not on side like in some pics) but the dish had a refreshing, bright, and acidic note - Came with 7 pieces of shrimp. The entire shrimp is easily eaten (only the tail still has the shell but it's pretty crunchy) - We didn't seem to get half of the described items like lettuce, green apple, possibly papaya, and purple onions. 2. Crispy pork belly fried rice - Pork cubes were halfway between crispy and soft/fatty. Red like Chinese char siu (barbequed) and delicious - Taste of truffle unagi sauce in the rice was pretty faint but overall rice texture and taste were excellent 3. Fo sizzle: Beef cubes were super tender as were the cooked cherry tomatoes! Also came with two poached eggs. There's quite a bit of sauce at the bottom - I think oyster sauce and other marinades so it tastes like shaking beef. 4. Big Hass omelette - Looks like the baguette was forgotten but the Fo Sizzle we ordered also came with one anyway - Seasoned potatoes come with ketchup on the side 5. Ube pancake (side order) - Ube taste isn't super prominent so the pancake is generally just sweet and fluffy. - Came with a slightly watered down (for texture) condensed milk that went well with the pancake read more

Some hits and some misses at this trendy Vietnamese fusion restaurant. HITS: -Ube pancakes -Pho poutine fries- if you're gonna get one thing here, I would get these. Managed to capture the pho flavoring of a broth in the meat and gravy atop a bed of fries -Fo shizzle- tender beef in a tomatoey sauce MISSES: -Pho french dip. Broth was really good pho broth but the sandwich was just meh and I could not get over the provolone cheese flavor overpowering the pickled veggies. It just did not go well together imo. -Pork belly fried rice. pork belly was really dry. The whole dish was nothing special NEITHER HIT NOR MISS: -Lemongrass tofu burger. Was cool to watch the burger bot assemble this, but overall it was just ok. Wanted a vegetarian option so this checked off the box for that. It comes with fries. It was interesting because the fries just sit in a box and the robot adds it on the plate. Not sure how long they're sitting in their boxes on the warmer. Vibe is hip, younger crowd, they have a live DJ on weekends read more

You know when you go to an air bnb and the pictures online look gorgeous but you get there and it's really just cheap finishes that don't even appear to be clean? That's how breaking dawn felt I knew it wasn't going to be great when we came in for Sunday brunch and the place wasn't even busy. The menu is styled like a newspaper which is a cool idea but the menu was filthy and had huge grease spots on some of the pages. I ended up ordering the beef fo sizzle which is their most popular brunch item. $29 for 6 pieces of cubed beef, two unseasoned eggs, and half a banh mi roll. It was highkey robbery and wasn't even that good. After tip I paid $50 for my breakfast which was just the fo sizzle and a cup of tea! WTF? Service was ok, nothing to write home about. Oh also they have a giant robot burger machine in the middle of the restaurant which feels super weird given how much money they charge for their food. I can't give it 1 star because it wasn't AWFUL but i do think it was completely overpriced and just not good! read more

Vietnamese - American fusion brunch ! I'm glad that i found this place as a good Viet food introduction to people that arent familiar with viet food yet. Ambiance is vibey with live DJ and good food. Service is super nice and welcoming We came around 1245 but pho broth isnt ready. They asked as soon as it was ready if i still wanted my pho but i politely refused since first dip on the broth isnt as good since the longer the better the broth. They were also out of pork belly for the fried rice. Solid 4 stars since food is good but not wow. The sizzling plate was 30$ but id rather get the garlic noodles for the price and the flavor bomb. read more

Loved it. First off, the vibes were immaculate. It looks like it was a bank (and probably was) and the themes feed off of the elegance but also is very brunchy vibes. They had a live DJ during Sunday morning which was completely unexpected and even more unexpected? Burger Bot. A robot for burgers. I don't know if the burger COOKS the burgers per say but it definitely assembles them! Another table ordered a burger so we were all able to enjoy the spectacle. Souffle Pancake: not super jiggly but it was yummy so all is forgiven! Churro French Toast: I wish we ordered more. This was so good! The photos online made it look SUPER sweet but it was perfectly sweet and not overbearing at all! The hawaiian rolls were a perfect fit for these kinds of french toast. Fo Sizzle (beef): my word. I loved this. This fits my palate in every sense and if I lived closer you bet I'd be a regular here! the beef is so tender and juicy (I did have 1 or 2 tough pieces but sometimes thats just how beef is!). The sauce was great, a bit on the salty end but perfect with the egg, tomatoes, and the half baguette. It had the perfect ratio of everything! read more

Beautiful decor with a focus on the small details. This LG gem did not disappoint this morning. We came in for brunch and had FANTASTIC SERVICE. The menu here is pretty large - they serve brunch, apps, and burgers during the first half of the day. This place is certainly pricey, but we really enjoyed it. The soufflé pancakes took about 20-25 minutes (they warn you in advance) and were excellent. The Fo Sizzle plate had two eggs, two large slices of baguette, and a generous serving of beef. They have a full bar and lots of non-alcoholic drink options too (Vietnamese coffee was AH-MAZING). They also have a machine that apparently assembles burgers?!? We didn't see it in action, but look forward to coming back and testing it out. read more

I ordered a Lucky Me Lychee Mocktail - but added Gin to turn it into a cocktail. It was nice a fruity and not too strong on the alcohol flavor. Banh Xeo Tacos - the protein in the dish was beautifully seasoned! Highly recommend ordering this appetizer! Shrimp Coconut Ceviche - a coconut cream sauce with shrimp and cucumber. This was tasty but I think I'd recommend the Banh Xeo Tacos over this item if you're debating an appetizer. Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice is very reminiscent of the crispy pork belly you might find at a Thai restaurant. The fried rice was garlic forward in a very pleasant way. I really enjoyed this dish. Pho Banh Mi Dip comes with a side of pho broth for dipping. This one contains dairy so I couldn't try it but my partner really enjoyed it. Came here with my group of girl pals for a lovely brunch. We were a group of 6 adults and some kids. I started with the caramel coffee at the bar while I waited for the gang to come. The bar server attended to me right away. We finally got seated and started ordering some apps like the truffle fries, tacos and stuff. I got the noodles with chicken and my friend got the eggs Benedict. They had a lot of options which was good for a big group like ours. They also accommodated food requests for the lil kids for example made the noodles without any sauce but only butter noodles. The wait time was very very long.. at the table the servers didn't come very often and we waited long to place as well as get the orders. The menu was also very pricey and the quality of certain dishes didn't live up to that expectation per the price. Overall it was a decent place.. I may try it again read more

I've been exploring new brunch spots lately, and I'm so glad I found this one because it was totally worth it! From the outside, the vibe looks simple, but once you walk in, it's a whole different story. The décor is super fun and modern, the tables, the seating, the bar, everything feels very well designed. There was even a live DJ playing great music, which made the ambiance feel very cool and energetic. We ordered fresh orange juice and I tried the Lucky Lyche Mocktail, which was sweet and delicious! For starters, we had the Banh Xeo tacos. It's only two tacos, but they were very crispy, crunchy, and the pork and shrimp filling were very tasty. For mains, my friend ordered the Pho Sizzle and I had the Noodles with beef. Both dishes were flavorful, and I loved the hint of sweetness in the beef, classic Vietnamese style and so tasty. The highlight: the seasonal pumpkin pancakes. OMG! They were absolutely amazing, soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. Those pancakes alone made the visit unforgettable! Late post from my visit on April 27, 2025. Wanted to take my sissy out for her birthday and she had heard rave reviews about this spot so of course we had to try it and boy are we glad we did. I have found my new fave brunch spot in Los Gatos. We ordered the following per the server's recommendation: * FO Shizzle with beef - Amazing. I drool just thinking about this dish * Grilled Pork Spring Rolls - This was delicious and the sauce took it to another level. * Souffle pancakes - Light and airy, this was our breakssert and it did not disappoint. ** We ordered the ooey gooey chocolate toffee cookies, but they were out :-) * I also ordered the Me Espresso and was a little skeptical since I don't like bitters, but the bartender assured us that it would not overpower the drink and he was not wrong. So glad I tried it, this was absolutely divine. I think my sis ordered the Free Bird but I'm not 100% sure. In any case, she loved her drink. My final takeaway - 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. My new go to brunch spot when I'm in California. Thanks Breaking Dawn. Hope you open a spot in Vegas so I can stop by more often. read more

Food Rating: 6.7 Price: 8/10 Ambiance/Service: 8/10 Overall Rating: 7.6 Super cute interior but definitely on the louder side. Service was friendly and very fast. Maybe a bit too fast, since all seven of our dishes came out at once, which felt a little overwhelming. Staggering them would've made for a smoother dining experience. Seasoned Potatoes - $6 Rating (5/10) It was good well seasoned but the oil may need a purge. Overall they were too oily Grilled Pork Spring Rolls - $15 Rating (4/10) Pretty basic overall. The crunchy egg roll inside was oily, and there was just too much vermicelli which threw off the balance. Pho Poutine - $15 Rating (8/10) I think this is the must get dish at this place. The short rib meat was super tender and the gravy is super flavorful! The only issue I had was that the gravy was poured on top, so by the end, everything dried out a bit. A side of extra gravy would've made it perfect. Loco moco - $24 Rating (7/10) The rice with the gravy and egg was super delicious. The patty was very bland it needed a bit more seasoning. Noods please + beef - $17 + $8 Rating (6.5/10) The beef was super tender! The noodles were flavored and sauced well but it was just too heavy. It's a hard dish to eat solo. Shake 'em - $25 Rating (9/10) Super well balanced and delicious dish! The beef was super flavorful and tender and the vinaigrette was so tasty. RBF - $25 Rating (7.5/10) Pandan waffle was a good sweetness and texture. Chicken was a bit bland tasting / heavy and found myself wanting to eat just the waffle rather than the combination of both. read more

We came around 11:15 am on sunday for brunch and there were a good amount of tables open, so walk-in is probably fine. parking is too hard to fine but it's in downtown los gatos so it's pretty busy. they have a DJ playing music in the actual restaurant, which i thought was cool but is probably not everyone's vibe. food was actually pretty spectacular - strong flavors and overall pretty big portions. Pho Poutine: 5/5 - Really nice pho beef broth flavor with large chunks of beef and the cheese paired really well. I loved the shapes of the poutine fries and this dish was executed really well. Ube pancakes: 4.5/5 - Really good pancakes with a bit of ube flavor. Wasn't anything particularly mindblowing (compared to the rest of the food) but it was good. I would've preferred a bit more ube flavor personally. RBF (chicken and waffles) : 5/5 - Waffles were soft and cooked nicely (without being soggy), hazelnut syrup was good, chicken was cooked really well too - nice crunch on the outside and super juicy and tender on the inside Crab Cake Burrito: 5/5 - Really good balance of eggs, crab cake, and bacon. Nice textures throughout, and paired amazingly well with the spicy mayo sauce. Fries were nice and crispy too. Definitely recommend this place for brunch - good food, decent prices, and good portions. read more

Had a reservation for 14 here on a Saturday morning at 11:30am. The table before us was still seated when we arrived but we were ok with it since it was traffic and a portion of our party had yet to arrive. The rest of our group arrived shortly after and we were seated. I docked one star because of the unusual wait time it took to get not only water for my two toddlers (we always appreciate service that prioritizes kids so they're not whining and waiting... but every restaurant is different *shrugs*), but also 10-15 mins it took between sitting down and getting our order. It was 12:15pm before we even ordered Outside of that, the food and drinks were really good. Strong and smooth Vietnamese coffee, really flavorful and delicious chicken and waffles, mouthwatering, fluffy soufflé pancakes. Need I say more? The DJ gave a shout out to my grandma (we were celebrating her birthday). And the restaurant itself had a cute aesthetic - modern, newspaper style menus, clean space and restrooms, and dainty, cute plates with the restaurant's name stamped on it. They also have a burger bit (robot that puts a burger together) and invited us up to see it at work when an order was made. read more
