He was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely excited to help us experience the best of the menu. To start, we were surprised with complimentary spicy meatballs and fresh crudités served with a delicious mascarpone cheese dip, a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for the evening. When we asked Luke for his recommendations, he absolutely delivered. We ordered the pork fried rice, and wow... 10/10! It was packed with flavor and is something I still think about. For our main course, Luke recommended the chef's choice preparation of the Chateaubriand, and it was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and one of the best steaks we've ever had. For appetizers, we ordered multiple rounds of the chilled oysters, a non-negotiable whenever my husband and I dine somewhere that serves fresh oysters. They were incredibly fresh and delicious. The cocktail menu was just as impressive. Every drink had its own unique flavor profile and beautiful presentation, making each one feel like an experience of its own. To finish the evening, we ordered the tableside Sticky Toffee Pudding, and it was the perfect ending. The presentation was fun, interactive, and absolutely delicious. Be.STEAK delivers so much more than just an incredible meal, it's a complete dining experience. The food, cocktails, presentation, and service were all exceptional, but Luke truly elevated the entire night. His recommendations were spot on, his hospitality was outstanding, and he made us feel genuinely welcomed from beginning to end. Terrific Food, Drinks, and Excellent Service! I recently brought my daughter to Be.Steak.A for Sunday Brunch for her Birthday and it was excellent. Carlton provided excellent service from the start to the finish of our brunch. He was very friendly, detailed, knowledgeable, service-oriented, efficient, and professional. My daughter and I have eaten at many excellent restaurants and this is definitely one of them with the hot food and service from Carlton. We started off by ordering their three specialty Mocktails that they have listed in their drink menu. It was Amaro Almond Sour, SOHO Seventy Five, and Bitter Little Thing. I also requested a Strawberry Mojito. Their drinks are terrific! We could definitely taste and distinguish the different flavors within the drinks which were combined expertly. Hats off to the bartender. For the food, we headed straight to the hot food in the kitchen area where it was well presented and displayed. We had terrific Crispy Ribs, Salmon, Prime Rib, Beef Wellington, and Clam Chowder. There are many other choices and selections of foods which is all based on your personal preference. You definitely won't be disappointed. The Prime Rib and Clam Chowder were top notch and exquisite. We also tried their seafood station which included oysters, shrimp, fish, and crab. Those were good. The caviar station was nicely displayed with the different types of caviar. The caviar, with our understanding and perception, was a disappointment. It lacked true flavor, character, and ambience. But the dessert station was brilliant, impressive, and awe-inspiring. We tried a variety of cakes, the creme brulee, boba, mille-feuille, chocolate mousse, and they were terrific. For my 400th review, I waited until I found a place 5 star worthy. I am beyond happy with our overall dining experience at Be.Steak.A ! Celebrated my bf's birthday here on a Thursday night. I read great reviews about this place, specifically the steak, so took the gamble and booked reservations. It is a Michelin recognized restaurant so had high expectations and wow were they exceeded ! We were running late and so gave a call to see if we can still be accommodated which was no issue at all or rush. Upon arrival we were greeted with a happy birthday and welcomed with a delicious, homey, & warm chicken broth to start our visit. Hostess then guided us to our table and on the walk you see the candy table and the beautiful open kitchen. Ambience is fine dining meets modern day with beautiful shades of blue with just enough dim lighting to make it intimate for your table. Volume decent enough to have conversation. When we sat there was already a birthday card and my bf was very happy and excited. It included a bday card with staff signatures and a $2 bill - it was so cute! Our server was Aaron who was outstanding. He had great suggestions without being pushy and was very honest on recommendations. He listened to our requests and guided us with a delicious meal based on our preferences. We also were not rushed during the whole dining experience - the timing between getting orders and checking in was perfect. We had enough time to finish each meal without scarfing ourselves or crowding our table with other food. & there was never a wait for service. This we really appreciated and found unique to our dining experience. Staff also were quick to provide refills. To the food ! We were given complimentary vegetable crudite - seasonal fresh cooled veggies and a flavor bomb of a dip ! Cream cheese, white miso, garlic, & other stuff. Who would've thought simple veggies can be yummy. Next our drinks came in and we had time to sip and look at the menu. Delicious schramsberg wine which is now my fave and apparently can get bottomless during their brunch buffett ! We ordered the trio of bread, all of which were delicious, but wow the rolls ! Soft, warm & fluffy. Then got the ravioli verde, ribeye, & pork fried rice. Originally wasn't going to get the fried rice but Aaron recommended it and I am so glad he did. I could've just ate that for my meal and been satisfied. It was savory, crispy & very flavorful. Italian American meets Asian flavors without being overwhelming. The ribeye medium rare cooked to perfection and perfectly paired with the "funky onions" & demi. We had everything on the side. Steak was a good quality and tasty steak, but with the onions and demi that's where it shined and separated itself from other high quality steaks. It was delicious with the rice. Ravioli was tasty as a pre-meal and glad I swapped to it bc we did order pretty heavy. Prob one of the best steaks we had. And we are steak eaters ! My bf tied it with his #1 steakhouse. Overall all the food was more than enough for the two of us to share. Then ofc ended our night with the table flambé sticky toffee pudding which was immaculate! I will say the caramel was either over cooked or too much alcohol bc there was a bitter taste towards the end. But the dulce de leche ice cream helped balance the bitterness. We also got a complimentary s'mores ice cream cake for the bday ! It was yummy, but too sweet with the marshmallow but again the chocolate and cherries created balance. 5/5 star review I am so looking forward to dining again. I definitely believe that they deserve a Michelin star if that's what they are aiming for. We do plan to try out their brunch buffet one day. Where do I even begin to start about brunch at Be.Steak.A. This is indeed a special dining experience. My bestie and I came here for their all you can eat buffet brunch on Mother's Day. We started out with complimentary glasses of Prosecco and sparkling cider while we waited to be seated. There was a little delay in getting our table, but it wasn't really a problem because we were chatting and enjoying the drinks. Before we entered, they had a floral photo wall where we took a photo together to memorialize the experience. And when we sat at the table, they had placed a lovely Mother's Day card on the table signed by the staff. The decor at Be.Steak.A is modern and feels very upscale. I think the bathrooms say a lot about a restaurant's attention to detail, and the bathrooms at Be.Steak.A were elevated - essential oil infused salt scrub to wash your hands, bidets, etc. The brunch buffet is just as described - hot items and pastries in the kitchen (so cool), a caviar bar outside, a separate station for cold seafood, another station for fruit and charcuterie, and then assorted desserts on the bar. The food was excellent. We started with the caviar -- the options and accouterments were plentiful and delicious. The caviar bar was so fun and felt luxurious. This was one of the highlights of the whole experience for me. For the other seafood, we enjoyed oysters, shrimp, crab legs, and other little seafood dishes, which unfortunately weren't labeled, so we didn't always know what we were eating. My friend had some dietary restrictions she was concerned about, so that was a little frustrating for her. But my favorite bite of the entire day was one of those unmarked seafood dishes- I wish I could tell you what it was -I think it was possibly squid. But it was so fresh and flavorful. Yum! The hot food in the kitchen was a neat experience. They had skewers and prime rib and many other dishes to choose from. I kept coming back to the seafood skewers. We were a little bummed that the beef Wellington was just gone when we entered the kitchen. There was still about another hour and a half of brunch service left so that was a disappointment for us. They also had numerous pasties and this amazing bread pudding that I drizzled a Nutella sauce over and added some strawberries to. This was probably my third favorite bite of the day (after the little seafood dish and the caviar experience). I'd be remiss if I didn't give the truffled deviled eggs from the charcuterie area a shout out. These were so good we kept going back for more. The desserts were good but a number of them were a little dry, I have to say. Surprisingly, my favorite was a little passionfruit tart that had just the right amount of sweetness. I'm usually a chocolate kinda gal but there weren't that many chocolate options, I have to say. A few other things- our server was lovely and gave us a lay of the land to start. She made sure we had any drinks we wanted and plenty of extra silverware. While there just aren't as many touch points with a server at a buffet, the interactions we did have were very positive. And even though I was disappointed that they ran out of the Beef Wellington, I was so impressed with how they kept replenishing and refilling the other dishes right up to the end of the buffet. Our second go to Be.Steak.A. First time we had cocktails and some bites at the bar. Experience was ok. It's been around a few years so we decided to give it another go. Sat at the bar again. Disclaimer is this is just my experience.... As we sat down we were greeted just fine. Ordered a couple cocktails. The wife received hers and about 5-8 mins later I asked for mine. Whether or not it was true the bartender said it needs time to set. Well you could have said it takes time while my wife was waiting to sip on hers(mediocre communication). We then proceeded to order the scallop appetizer. While the presentation was good. The scallops were rubbery and overcooked. A few mins later we had to ask to order some entrees. Key words "had to ask". I got the hot stone trio. She got the lobster risotto. We decided on indulging a little. While we were waiting I asked for a wine list... 5 minutes later I asked again different server finally got the list. No revisit. The food came. Still looking to order wine about 8-10 mins in a different bartender came in and asked, we ended up getting a bottle wine. The food: the hot stone trio, for $230, mediocre cuts of supposedly A5 Japanese wagyu. They were out of the Sanuki and said we'll substitute with an Oregon beef. Just not worth the money. The lobster was ok, the risotto was already cooled off, seemed like it was sitting. So for 2 of us with a $700 plus meal the service was not on par with other similar establishments. Combine that with food that was definitely not worth the $$$$, it is not a return for me. Including hosting business here. Came back here today for Mother's Day brunch. It's been about 2 years since I've dined here and both my husband and I agreed this place still satisfies. They've raided the bubbles and brunch prices $10 since we were last here and truthfully that's not so bad considering how much everything else has gone up with inflation. We both definitely felt we got our moneys worth in caviar alone. And an addition they've added since we last dined here were crab legs. I used to comment that the one item I felt missing were crabs. The porchetta and beef Wellington still slaps. Very tasty. I finally tried the filet today with some chimichurri and it was tasty. Their oysters and shrimp were super fresh. The person shucking the oysters was working non stop. We appreciate the variety here. Much better quality than those popular Vegas buffets. Shout out to our server, Kimberly, who was also on point. Extremely kind, quick and courteous. Several years later and this place still hits it for us. I'm actually raising my original rating from 4 to 5 stars. read more

It has been a long time since we've dine at a steak house. We decided to come here for our 10 year anniversary celebration with our 4 year old in tow. It was amazing and delicious. I went to Be.Steak last friday. Reservation is 8pm. I have been there when it first open. 1) Decor, very nice 2) Front hostess, super nice and when you first walk in and check in. Will get bone broth soup in a small cup while you wait. 3) Their service is amazing, my waiter/server is Luke, he is very knowlegable about wine and steak. My husband and I have a lot of qn about steak and wine. His suggestion is wonderful. 4) Order a bunch of appertizer, and also order steak, scallops. Pasta, Salad. Dessert. My party has 4 persons, good to order more and share and try out. 5) Scallop is perfect, steak is good. Every thing's taste is very good. 6) Definitelly an expensive steak house. The inside has up to date decorative lightings, also great set up for special occasions. Friday lunch, we had 5 mins just us , then people started to show up, noise level is decent. There are couple complimentary dishes from the chef , organic vegetables and flower - the ones are so good until we found lots of bugs on the lettuce , mentioned to the waitress, she claimed that is what it is for organic. I am wondering if organic means no need to wash ?! Well, she took away that plate, and didn't give us another one , even no asking on it , kinda of disappointed for a fancy service place . Another complimentary dish was the mash potato balls, they were ok , good as freebies. For the dishes we tried, very liked the bread waitress recommended: Faccaccio Di Recco -- Must try, freshly baked with cheese in side and Oliver oil outside, 5 star impression from my taste bud. Rib Eye , medium rare, good quality with disappointed looking and taste caramelized onions. The onion looked and tasted mushy, watery .... The truffle fry was good, only sad face when the waitress took away without asking if I want to bag the rest to go. Lastly, the pecan pie, 2 stars with the price I paid. The crust was hard, the pecan filling part was dry ... besides sweet and just sweet. Overall experience 3 out of 5 with high expectations on the dishes and services. This was my second time here. And I'll just say my first impression brought me back, however this does not seem to measure up to my memory. 1. No more beef bone broth when you come in. it was chicken bone broth BUT it was Amazing! The mushroom broth landed flat. 2. The dining room was much brighter than I recall. We ate in the bar at a high top. So for a steak house I just naturally gravitate towards a darker moody vibe. Not this place. 3. Ordered the Brazilian bombshell cocktail. Presented beautiful. Tastes good too. Had a harsh unexpected bitter. I did not want to finish the drink. 4. They provided a light complimentary veggies on ice with a dip. Tasted like butter but mixed with flavor (very unique). I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was but it was tasty. 5. Ate the delicious Burrata Pugliese. This comes with a fresh baked bread. This is a BIG Yes!! 5. My husband ordered whisky on a rock. Took way too long to deliver especially because the bar was not full and we sat right next to it. 6. Yam stones. The yam taste was super light. Nice crispy exterior and super light and fluffy inside, sitting on top of a light creamy sauce. I did not like this at all. These were so sticky to cut with a knife and fork. They use a mochi like dough so they are like eating mochi. Super chewy. Super sticky. I at 1/2 of one and chewed far too long. Didn't taste natural to me. Sent it back. However I saw lots of orders being delivered. 7. Charred cauliflower- this was very delicious. A flavorful compliment to the steak. Al dente just cooked enough to not mushy. Raisins are on top. Added a nice sweet. 8. Filet Mignon. Cooked to perfection. Great flavor. And topped with a seasoned butter. Excellent. So glad. We came here to celebrate an anniversary. From the moment we entered to the minute we left, it was a fabulous time. The hosts in the beginning were so nice and offered us a warm broth to drink to prepare ourselves for the amazing meal we were about to have. We ended up ordering family style and shared all the dishes we ordered from the small bites to the HUGE porterhouse steak. I thought it was so cool to see the steak before they cooked it. We had an overall positive experience and most of the food was delicious but for a steakhouse, the $210 chateaubriand was beyond disappointing. For a cut known for its "extreme tenderness," the outside was too firm and chewy even though the inside was definitely medium rare. This was worse than a typical filet mignon and we "unfortunately" got 20 oz of it...it also came with two sauces (aerated Hollandaise and maybe au jus or something), both of which were basically flavorless. Most of the sides and appetizers we ordered were great though. - Steak tartare: Strong start to the meal. It came with 6 pieces of soft and buttery brioche, a plate of whipped beef tallow, and a huge bowl of steak tartare. We actually ran out of bread before we ran out of the tartare! - Lamb chop appetizer: Also amazing! The meat here was more tender than the chateaubriand and we loved the flavors of the jalapeno jelly + aioli on it - Yam stones: Reminded me of mochi donuts. Mildly sweet - Hasselback potatoes (complimentary dish that came with the chateaubriand): Potatoes were soft (perfect texture). Came sitting in a pool of watery sour cream that also didn't taste like much though - Pork fried rice: One of the servers called this "our twist on the Asian classic" but it didn't seem like a fusion dish. From the Calabrian chilis (very different from chili crisp) and spicy sausage (more like breakfast sausage than Taiwanese or Chinese pork sausage) to the pool of oil the rice sat in, nothing about it reminded me of typical pork fried rice at all. We ended up ordering the sticky toffee pudding for dessert (flambeed next to our table) but also got a free baked Alaska for the birthday dessert (with birthday/funfetti ice cream inside) and a sparkler. We had the most wonderful dinner, here last night. It was our first time here. We were celebrating my birthday, which was indicated in our reservation. When we arrived and checked in, we were offered house made chicken bone broth in small cups to take with us to our table. It was actually pretty good. We were guided to our table. The restaurant is very elegant inside. Our table was beautifully set for us with a birthday card for me on the middle of the table. I thought that was so thoughtful. When I opened the card a $2.00 bill fell out, to my surprise. What a nice touch. Our waiter, Juan, gave us each a damp cloth to wipe our hands. He guided us through the menu. He let us know the specials. He also gave his recommendations, which we appreciated. We started the night off with some cocktails. My husband ordered the Amari old fashioned and I ordered a vodka dirty martini. That martini was the best I ever had. It was presented beautifully on a silver tray with a tiny chilled bowl with the garnish for the drink. It also came with a tiny cup of extra olive brine if you desire a bit more salty flavor. I thought it was made perfectly. For our starter we had the wedge salad. We also decided to try the focaccia di recco. The salad arrived chilled and delicious. We were given chilled forks for the salad. With each course a fresh plate and silverware were given. The focaccia was absolutely delicious and a must try. The melted cheese gave it a bit of richness. It's a very thin bread nothing like the usual thick and dense focaccia we are used to. We both loved it. We both ordered the tiny French onion soup and it was the perfect size. It was delicious. The chef sent a tray of veggies and garlic dip for our table. That was very nice. For our pasta, we decided to share the Agnolotti. It's a pasta filled with braised beef and topped with roasted hazelnut nuts in a Demi glaze sauce with Parmesan on top. Very delicious. We also tried the rock shrimp gratin. It was a bit watery but full of flavor. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. I'd get this again but ask for it to be less watery. For our protein, we shared the chateaubriand that is served table side, seasoned and cut in front of you and served with a Hollandaise sauce. This was done a perfect medium rare. The meat was so flavorful and seasoned perfectly. It was a lot of meat. We took the rest of it home. The chef also sent a dish, to our table, of roasted potatoes in a parsley butter sauce that was really good. We really enjoyed that. For dessert we tried the mixed berry cobbler. The filling was tart and the crust was sweet so it paired perfectly together. They also brought out a mini baked Alaska for my birthday with a firework like candle. That was so nice and fun. The baked Alaska was very good. Before we left we were given an after dinner liqueur, that was very strong. I could only have a few sips. I was also given a treat bag with two Italian amoretti cookies. That was so sweet. They really went out of their way to make my birthday extra special. Our leftover food was packaged for us in a nice black bag with red tissue paper, and placed on the hook under our table. We were there a total of three hours and the time went by fast. It was like being on a culinary excursion. All our food was spaced out so we could savor it and prepare for the next course. The bathroom is beautiful, by the way. They have salt scrub for your hands and all the toilettes are automated bidet toilettes. Before you leave they have little candies you can take for the road. The customer service here is exquisite. Everyone is very professional and polite. It is a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it for the quality of food, service, and experience. This was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. STRICTLY DUMPLING EPISODE On YouTube I'm subscribed to Strictly Dumpling, which is a food channel. There was an episode Mike Chen visited Be.Steak.A for Sunday brunch. After watching the episode a couple of years ago I wanted to come eat here. The first time I came here was November for Sunday brunch before Thanksgiving. In fact that day was about a week after my colonoscopy. If I was going to a buffet after that procedure I might as well spend the money by eating at Be.Steak.A for Sunday brunch. When I entered the restaurant the first offering was a drink that was part of the buffet. Since I was driving I decided to get a glass of apple cider. The setup of the buffet is unique. The grilled meat and hot items are served in the kitchen. The non-hot items are served inside the dining room. As I'm paying a lot of this buffet I went to the kitchen to select varieties of meat for my first plate, which included porchetta, bacon, prime rib, scrambled eggs, and beef wellington. I'll start by saying the beef wellington here is better than beef wellington at Gordon Ramsey Steak at Vegas. That has to do with the pastry with its flaky crust has a texture of a croissant. The porchetta had the balance of fat and meat. The scrambled eggs were wet. My second plate included devil ribs. I am not a fan of deviled eggs as the sauce can be too heavy, but the sauce on the devil ribs was lightly coated. For my second plate I also had the poached egg on sourdough toast. My third plate consisted mostly of breakfast items. The waffles were airy. The Italian sausage was meaty. The only non-breakfast item on that plate was the filet mignon with chimichurri, which added flavor to the steak. My last plate included octopus skewers, asparagus, salmon, beef wellington, and croissant with honey. Due to the quality of items I will say the Sunday brunch buffet at Be.Steak.A is similar to Las Vegas buffets. I did not have a tomahawk steak for this buffet as was depicted in the Strictly Dumpling episode. However after the restaurant I smelled the smoke of the almond wood. Due to the smell I wanted to come here next time for steak. The next time I came here was the Thursday before Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. I had in mind ordering the signature steak The Be.Steak.A. However when my server Aaron stated that the size of the porterhorse could be too much for one person to eat I asked what other steak he recommended. He stated the strip loin. After about five minutes of thinking I stuck to my guns; I decided the The Be.Steak.A. I asked my server what pasta he suggested. He said the most popular pasta customers order was the tarjarin al tartufo because of the black truffles. However the Filipino inside was thinking about rice. I asked my server about the pork fried rice. He said that's his favorite item at the restaurant. Sold. The signature steak is a porterhouse. The size of my porterhouse was 51 ounces. The pork fried rice at Be.Steak.A tastes better than at most Chinese restaurants. First the rice is fluffy yet not sticky. Second you can taste the pork flavor. Third the pork fried rice was light. Despite the thick portion the porterhouse wasn't fatty but lean. This beneficial as I was able to finish the steak without having the "meat sweats". Even though I asked for medium rare the porterhouse didn't taste pasty. There's one flaw with the porterhouse it was over seasoned. With marrow butter and tempura enoki I couldn't taste the steak. Also I couldn't smell the smokiness of the almond wood. I wasn't going to get dessert. However that night was the last week of serving the dessert item Pommes & Parm, which included white chocolate mousse on foie gras caramel. Sold. I love foie gras especially on desserts as it adds a buttery texture. I wasn't disappointed with my dessert. I enjoyed my two visits here. I couldn't rate this place a 5-star because of its signature steak, which was the most expensive steak I ever paid at a restaurant. If the steak was less seasoned not only I could've smell the smokiness of the almond wood but also I would've tasted beefy flavor. Due to the prices I paid for the Sunday brunch and porterhouse I do not see myself coming to Be.Steak.A anytime soon. However I can see myself coming back Be.Steak.A again. read more

My husband and I dined here on an early Wednesday evening to celebrate my birthday. It also happened to be our first date night out after I had given birth to our daughter 2.5 weeks ago. We mentioned both occasions to our server, Paul & he made sure we had an incredible dining experience. He was attentive and engaging without being overbearing. He provided a really great mocktail recommendation for me after he noticed I wasn't enjoying my selection. (If you don't like aperol spritz, don't make the same mistake as me. Avoid the Puppy Love mocktail & opt for First Base instead. It tastes like a horchata.) Hubs and I shared the bone marrow, crab garbanelli, wood fired ribeye & asparagus. The wood fired steaks here are always phenomenal but we particularly enjoyed the crab garbanelli. We finished off with another excellent recommendation of Paul's - the sticky toffee pudding. If you like a dessert with a little flame like myself, do NOT pass on the sticky toffee pudding. All in all, we had a really great night out and couldn't ask for better service or food for our first night out as parents. HUGE shout out to Paul for a truly incredible night. read more

We made a reservation here for our anniversary and had a great time. Upon entering, we were given 2 cups of hot chicken soup which was so perfect for the chilly weather that day. On the way to the table, the kitchen had a giant wall sized window to watch the chefs at work. This is definitely a pricey steakhouse so if you come with that expectation, then it's not too bad. The porterhouse was $4.95 per oz and to be honest, we did not expect a 49.6oz steak because it ended up being $$$$ but it was very well cooked. The overall meal was wonderful. My only complaint is the lobster risotto came out pretty cold already but I'm not sure if that was intentional. I also wish they had more green veggie options for their sides. Our waitress was great and didn't hover. She checked on us just enough and gave us a complimentary anniversary dessert at the end. There were also small candies on the way out that you can grab yourself. I also loved that they had little coat racks and purse hooks at the tables. The booths were also very comfortable. Parking isn't so great as the plaza gets packed during dinner time. We had to park a little further and walked over but it wasn't too bad. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, the hospitality is next level. Our server Paul went above and beyond to help us have the best dinner possible. On top of the service, every dish was beautifully presented, explained, and delicious. If you want to splurge for a celebration or just enjoy a really nice dinner, Be.Steak.A is a must visit. We went on a Thursday night to celebrate a birthday and made a reservation a few days before. The parking is packed so plan on arriving a little early to find parking. The meal took just under 3 hours but the pacing was perfect. Our water was always filled and the food came out swiftly. I loved every dish but the Ribeye and Rock Shrimp Gratin was next level. As preface, I am a pretty picky eater and love the flavor of individual ingredients and foods, so a good rating from me is an exceptional achievement or anyone. Anything 7/10 or higher is an acheievent for that establishment! First of all, the service was 9/10, absolutely amazing, they treated us with exceptional service and courteousness. they even accommodated my new addiction to nice hot bone broth. I asked for two extra shots! Our server, younger guy, was super outgoing and friendly, and was great with explaining the location and details of each plate and cut of steak. I ordered the Be.Steak.A Large Porterhouse steak, french fries, and cranberry juice. The rest of my family ordered a filet minon, shallots, meat balls, and more pictured. However, I had to bring it down to a 3.5 due to the steak, the main reason I went there. Not only was it room temperature when I got it, it was cold after a minute due to the ac being set too low. It was a bit undercooked for medium rare, more rare, and had too much green stuff on the steak. It was a very high quality steak however. The 50oz porterhouse steak was rated 6/10 on the New York Strip side and 7.5/10 on the file minon side. The french fries were good, solid 6.5/10, and the cranberry juice was amazing, 8/10. Wifey and I went here for an early Valentine's Day celebration (since we'll be traveling during). I'll start by saying, I had high expectations for Be.Steak.A. I had been here before for a private dinner (friend's wedding dinner) and I recall it being great. Unfortunately, this time the lunch did not meet my expectations, particularly in terms of service. We were greeted on arrival warmly and with a cup of warm broth. That was fantastic. For the meal we went with a ribeye (med rare), truffle fries, hamachi appetizer and the focaccia. The food overall was quite good. Steak cooked perfectly. Fries were flavorful and not greasy. The focaccia was also really tasty. At first glance it didn't look like much but the cheese inside really elevates the flavor. At such a place I expected 5 star service and it just didn't meet it. There was a complimentary first dish that was an array of veggies and a dip meant as "finger food." We had a couple bites before I realized the leaf of lettuce had at least 3-4 bugs on it. We didn't cause a scene. We waved down our server and calmly told her "There are some critters on the lettuce." She replied that's what happens when it's organic. She took the dish away. And that was it! She didn't apologize. She didn't bring us a new one or offer something else. I guess it was a complimentary dish, but it was not handled well. Towards the end of the meal she asked if she could clear some of the things away. We were done with most of the food but there was still half a plate of fries. She went ahead and just grabbed all the dishes and didn't ask if we wanted to box the fries to go. It wasn't like there were two fries left. It was like a McDonads medium fries left on there. Sure, I suppose I could have said, "Hey wait could you box up the fries." At a $$$$ restaurant though paying over $20 for a plate of fries, I would have expected the server to politely offer. We still had a good meal in spite of the service being below expectations. Had everything going for it to be 5-stars but I can't in good conscience give 5 (or even 4) stars to a restaurant where serving bugs on lettuce is simply dismissed as "organic" with no effort of apology or reparation. read more

This was our first time at Be.Steak.A, and we came to celebrate our friends' 50th wedding anniversary. Although 2 of us were dressed business casually, our friends were dressed very casually because they had come to pack up their house and move their belongings out of state to their current home. Because they did not know we would take them out to dinner, they had only brought very comfortable clothes. My husband called ahead and asked if there was a dress code, and he was told to dress what we were comfortable wearing. I was relieved but still felt a little apprehensive until we were all greeted very warmly with smiles by friendly hostesses. We were given delicious Bone Broth which was unexpected and amazing. When we arrived at the table, an anniversary card was there for our friends. That was a nice surprise. Aaron was our outstanding server. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgable. We had several questions about the menu items which he answered clearly and with great details. Regarding the food, our main courses, sides and appetizers were incredible! We had an appetizer with Vegetables and Dip, Onion Soup, Green Garlic Fries, Mashed Potatoes, Bread, Ribeye, Filet Mignon and Prime Rib. Additionally, the menu for the cocktails was fun to read, and all of the cocktails looked delicious. I ordered the Green Light Special, and it did not disappoint. After dinner, we ordered the delicious Sticky Toffee Pudding which was fun to watch as it was being prepared. The other 2 desserts were good, but we would not order them again. The Carrot Cake tasted a bit lemony and the Banana Mochi Trifle was not very flavorful. Also, the ice cream tasted salty, and I left the rest of it after tasting it. Throughout our time at Be.Steak.A.,we appreciated how other staff members were also attentive from filling our water glasses to packing up our leftovers. This restaurant will always be hard to be when it comes to service. I still love when you enter they give you a nice, hot cup of bone broth! That sets the tone. Actually when they open the door for you automatically before that, that sets the tone. When you come, then they spend a minute or two to set up the table and then take you back and you pass by the kitchen, which has these huge windows and you can see the whole operation. Very cool. The service is extra extraordinary. You will feel really well taken care of. The waiters will chitchat you up for sure they'll find some topic, trust me I'm sure they're trained. Good management. The food is delicious. and the drinks are quite good as well. Bravo to the bartender. I have heard so much about this place and finally couldn't wait to try it! Our host was extremely nice and gave a bunch of suggestions to our preferences! I really wanted to try the tomahawk steak, but they ran out for the night, so my family and I got the be.steak.a 52 oz steak. It was large for our family and after we ate a couple of other appetizers, we had to bring some back! The parker rolls were my favorite. I ordered the Corzetti for appetizer. It was pretty good. I would order it again. The restaurant being an Italian inspired steakhouse is nice, gives more options for entrees! My friend and I also shared the fries, the yams, and the mashed potatoes. All items were standard. I would recommend them all. My friend ordered the Hot Stone Trio. This came with 3 types of wagyu beef and you were given a hot stone to grill your slices of wagyu. It was a fun experience they enjoyed. For dessert, we received a smores cake to celebrate the birthday. We also then ordered the chocolate molten cake and every ice cream flavor they had. It was a sweet time. The smores cake was good. The ice cream was delicious. The molten cake was a big portion and also good. Service: Service was good and friendly. Came here for sunday brunch and the experience was great. Our server was super attentive and helpful. There was a lot of selection of food, but also not really. What caught my eye was the caviar bar. Which buffet has a caviar bar?! It's pretty cool and typical for what you would expect from a buffet. The desserts were mini size which is good so we could try everything. We stopped by Be.Steak.A just for dessert after dining elsewhere -- and wow, what a treat! We grabbed seats at the bar and ordered four different desserts, each one beautifully crafted and totally unique. Crème brûlée was a stunner -- topped with delicate orange slices that looked like little flowers resting on a pistachio field. Chocolate budino came with a giant marshmallow and was incredibly rich and indulgent. Tiramisu was our favorite -- they prepare it tableside, which made it even more special. Strawberry parfait had an unexpected but delicious sesame accent that really surprised us. Every dish was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. From presentation to flavor, Be.Steak.A nailed it.
