I dropped the word "not in my comment about service. We could not have asked for better service.

What an amazing restaurant! Willard Hicks has to be one of my favorite spots to dine now. I first came out to their resto about 1.5 years ago and it was delish with great service. So, when I needed a spot for a work luncheon event where we wanted some privacy, I contacted them right away. And Rosion, their Banquet Manager, is awesome! He was so quick to respond via email and helped me plan this special luncheon with ease. There is no minimum room fee for the private dining space (we were in their larger room that can fit 16 a little tight, so 15 or 14 people will probably be perfect), and their staff was attentive and oh so helpful. They helped cut and served the cake I brought. Plus the food, well, YUM! Everyone enjoyed their order (I had one person say their salmon was a little too salty, but I loved mine!) and just had a great dining experience. They're on my fave place to go, so don't wait to come out and try them if you haven't! Tell them I sent you!!

I visited this restaurant today for lunch in downtown Campbell. Overall, the service was great. I love the look of the restaurant and the lovely plants. I'm a plant person lol The mango habeñero wings were delicious with a light smoked taste. The vegetable garnish combo was definitely a plus. I would have this again. I was going to choose a different dish at first, but then one of the servers walked by with the steak burger and it looked so good. The burger itself was cooked the way I asked (medium well) and huge with lots of veggies. However, the flavor combo was just OK to me, I really wasn't a fan of the seasoning on the fries, but I may go back and try a different dish.

    Abigail & Manhattan

Went here for a birthday dinner. Started with happy hour. I had the Abigail - sweet like an orange soda. My husband had the the vintage Manhattan which was delicious. The dirty martini was good, made with the well vodka. Also had the potato boats - so good with cheese and crumbled candied bacon. Also shared the southern wedge which was one of the best wedge salad I have had. Dinner I had Prime Rib - nicely cooked, creamed spinach was delicious but potatoes were very bland as was the Au jus. Husband had the ribs which were really good with the potato sticks which were fluffy and well seasoned. For dessert they brought out a birthday cookie with ice cream which was a nice and. Ambiance is nice, upscale with good music.

I was pleasantly surprised with my meal here. The reviews were mixed, so I was a bit skeptical. Calamari: 8/10 Pretty solid. Might batter. Could've been crispier, but the calamari slices were thick. Cornbread: 8.5/10 Sweet and not too spicy. Great to share. Scallop risotto: 8.5/10 Really solid risotto. Good flavor and rice was cooked well. The scallops weren't not the freshest and a bit chewy. Burger: 9.5/10 As far as burgers go, this one is really good. They do overcook the edge, so it was kind of dry, but overall, this is so filling and flavorful and juicy. The fries could've been a bit crispier. I loved the aioli.

I was disappointed in getting the Firecracker chicken. Major shrinkflation. Look at my older photos, used to have juicy chicken tenders. Now they jacked up the price and they are measly, fat-ridden, "bites". (Look the same size as a Cheetos, no joke). Barely any chicken. I'll gladly pay more, not the issue, but if you raise prices, please at the very least, keep the same quality & portions.

Everyone was so happy we ended up here by accident because the other restaurant was booked ...this restaurant was elegant, cozy ambiance, friendly staff and excellent dishes. Best mega gourmet burger we ever had with fries like we never had before with a cilantro sauce. Salmon was perfect with veggies... everyone chooses to come back again. Our server Mary was so informative and checked on us frequently but most of all very cheery.

The Abigail (front) and Sidecar (back)

We celebrated our 9th anniversary here. Hubby and I started with a cocktail. I had the Abigail and he had the sidecar. Followed by an appetizer of calamari steak that came with a tartar sauce and a cocktail sauce. For our meal we had the bone in pork chop and the ginger sesame ribeye with a side of green beans. Complimentary dessert of chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. Cocktails - 5/5. Refreshing. Decently priced at $15 per cocktail. Appetizer - 5/5. Garlicky. Tender. The 2 sauces helps to lighten the fried items. The calamari steak pieces were not greasy at all. Pork chop - 4.5/5. Waitress said it's suppose to be cooked to a medium but it was almost all done. No pinkness at all. Bordering on dry. It came with a side of Mashed potato and roasted Brussel sprouts. The sides were delicious. Other then the temperature being off, the dish was great. Ribeye - 3.5/5. Hubby asked for medium well but it was rare to medium rare. That particular cut had a lot of sinew and it made it difficult to eat, especially with their dull steak knives. I didn't like that it was served on a wooden cutting board. Idk how many times it's been used and how much "stuff" is embedded into the wood grains. The shiitaki mushroom ponzu ginger glaze was too salty for my liking. The crispy onion strings didn't belong. Green bean side - 3/5. Incredibly salty. Almost wished I had rice to accompany it, but that wouldn't help balance it out. Dessert - 3/5. Complimentary for our anniversary. The description sounded awesome. Warm chocolate chip cookie paired with a refreshing scoop of ice cream. Cookie was not warm or gooey. Ice cream was bland. But it's the thought that counts right? Great atmosphere. Last night was first football game of the season so it was a little louder than I'd expect it to be. Staff were attentive. Overall average of 4/5.

Asked for Medium. This is their version. Cold inside, slight sear outside! RARE to say the least!
    Tee S.

This place was a huge disappointment despite the hype about it. Wedge salad comes with roasted peppers and a very sweet bacon crumble. If you are not into candied bacon, tell them to leave it off. Our orders came out and mine was a different dish than ordered in which the server's joked about the cook's ability to understand English as they took it away. (Really. In front of customers.) The steak I ordered came out which I ordered Medium rare and got a very small barely kissed by flame steak. Outside was seared and the inside rare and cold. My husband asked for ketchup and was given a very spicy cocktail sauce. And when they attempted to fix it, brought the same. We did not ask again. There was no manager to talk to that evening and none of the staff wanted to deal with issues of their food. So two entree's, a couple of drinks NA, a salad and a additional side ran $200.00. No attempts to problem solve some basic restaurant issues. Needless to say if going to offer steep pricing on your dishes, they better live up to the expectation within reason or fix the issue to be palatable.

Do they have happy hour? If so, what days and times?

    Is there kids menu?

Actually yes there is a kids menu. The restaurant is on the fancy side but it is kid friendly. They have kids menus with crayons as well as booster seats and high chairs.

    What's their corkage fee?

The first bottle is free. The second bottle or any bottle after that is $15 each.

Have you reopened your campbell location?

I talked to a manager, and they are expecting to open on September 25th, 2018.

We started out with complimentary glasses of Prosecco and sparkling cider while we waited to be seated. There was a little delay in getting our table, but it wasn't really a problem because we were chatting and enjoying the drinks. Before we entered, they had a floral photo wall where we took a photo together to memorialize the experience. And when we sat at the table, they had placed a lovely Mother's Day card on the table signed by the staff. The decor at Be.Steak.A is modern and feels very upscale. I think the bathrooms say a lot about a restaurant's attention to detail, and the bathrooms at Be.Steak.A were elevated - essential oil infused salt scrub to wash your hands, bidets, etc. The brunch buffet is just as described - hot items and pastries in the kitchen (so cool), a caviar bar outside, a separate station for cold seafood, another station for fruit and charcuterie, and then assorted desserts on the bar. The food was excellent. We started with the caviar -- the options and accouterments were plentiful and delicious. The caviar bar was so fun and felt luxurious. This was one of the highlights of the whole experience for me. For the other seafood, we enjoyed oysters, shrimp, crab legs, and other little seafood dishes, which unfortunately weren't labeled, so we didn't always know what we were eating. My friend had some dietary restrictions she was concerned about, so that was a little frustrating for her. But my favorite bite of the entire day was one of those unmarked seafood dishes- I wish I could tell you what it was -I think it was possibly squid. But it was so fresh and flavorful. Yum! The hot food in the kitchen was a neat experience. They had skewers and prime rib and many other dishes to choose from. I kept coming back to the seafood skewers. We were a little bummed that the beef Wellington was just gone when we entered the kitchen. There was still about another hour and a half of brunch service left so that was a disappointment for us. They also had numerous pasties and this amazing bread pudding that I drizzled a Nutella sauce over and added some strawberries to. This was probably my third favorite bite of the day (after the little seafood dish and the caviar experience). I'd be remiss if I didn't give the truffled deviled eggs from the charcuterie area a shout out. These were so good we kept going back for more. The desserts were good but a number of them were a little dry, I have to say. Surprisingly, my favorite was a little passionfruit tart that had just the right amount of sweetness. I'm usually a chocolate kinda gal but there weren't that many chocolate options, I have to say. A few other things- our server was lovely and gave us a lay of the land to start. She made sure we had any drinks we wanted and plenty of extra silverware. While there just aren't as many touch points with a server at a buffet, the interactions we did have were very positive. And even though I was disappointed that they ran out of the Beef Wellington, I was so impressed with how they kept replenishing and refilling the other dishes right up to the end of the buffet. This was an incredible dining experience. I'd highly recommend this brunch buffet experience for special occasions. I'm looking forward to dining here for dinner in the not so distant future!

Sat at the bar again. Disclaimer is this is just my experience.... As we sat down we were greeted just fine. Ordered a couple cocktails. The wife received hers and about 5-8 mins later I asked for mine. Whether or not it was true the bartender said it needs time to set. Well you could have said it takes time while my wife was waiting to sip on hers(mediocre communication). We then proceeded to order the scallop appetizer. While the presentation was good. The scallops were rubbery and overcooked. A few mins later we had to ask to order some entrees. Key words "had to ask". I got the hot stone trio. She got the lobster risotto. We decided on indulging a little. While we were waiting I asked for a wine list... 5 minutes later I asked again different server finally got the list. No revisit. The food came. Still looking to order wine about 8-10 mins in a different bartender came in and asked, we ended up getting a bottle wine. The food: the hot stone trio, for $230, mediocre cuts of supposedly A5 Japanese wagyu. They were out of the Sanuki and said we'll substitute with an Oregon beef. Just not worth the money. The lobster was ok, the risotto was already cooled off, seemed like it was sitting. So for 2 of us with a $700 plus meal the service was not on par with other similar establishments. Combine that with food that was definitely not worth the $$$$, it is not a return for me. Including hosting business here. Not sure if they judged us cause we weren't all dressed up, due to just coming from the local movie theater or what, but service was not there, unfortunate.

Just never got around to working a review before. Went early on a Saturday evening recently and was surprised to not have to wait. We split a Bibb lettuce salad that was simple, refreshing and perfect. A tiny pea fritter was the very definition of a small bite, and while it wasn't what I expected, it was crisp and tender. Grilled artichoke was one of the best I have ever had. (Just wish they had been explicit on the menu that it was a half a grilled artichoke). Cocktails were up to their usual high standard -- rye Manhattan for the BF and clarified milk punch for me. I don't get out much these days and I rarely drink alcohol, but is $20 a lot for a cocktail? Or is that normal now? They were great though. BF got the ribeye with morels, which was perfectly cooked and unbelievably tender. I had the burger, which was more exciting than it sounds, dressed with a wild combo of veggies, cheese and bacon while still managing to be harmonious and fresh tasting. Side of fries were crisp and tasty, though not as perfectly hot as I would ideally wish. Because the burger was late coming out, or server (Bernardo I think?) comped us an amazing little dish of vanilla soft serve ice cream with olive oil and sea salt, along with the butterscotch pudding that we ordered. The pudding didn't have the strong butterscotch flavor that I hoped for, but the vanilla ice cream stole the dessert show. OCK isn't a place I can afford often, but I still really like it. I appreciate the creativity of the dishes, the quality ingredients, and the bar. And the old-school shopping center vibe of the Pruneyard is low key festive and garden-like. The interior of the restaurant is kind of standard-industrial modern, but nicely so. Oh, and their glassware is super nice.

Our server Katherine N was outright hostile and messed up our order on top of having a really rude and unprofessional attitude. Bummer. This used to be the best dining in Pruneyard but its sister restaurant Be.steak.a, as well as Luna and Marafuku Ramen make OCK's bib gourmand look more than undeserved. The rest of the wait staff is lovely, and we look forward to some improvements in the menu intentionality and execution as well as said outlier staff member, as this restaurant has been a favorite in our family for over five years.

The restaurant has interesting decor and is not like most establishments of this nature as it is informal and is not in " the fine linen and white tablecloth " type of vein. No, the restaurant itself ( in a casual, rustic sort of way ) is very cozy and warm. inviting in a semi-formal way where you can relax to enjoy a fine meal and that is exactly what my family had. Our waiter was an affable fellow named Armando who is one of those servers that, as any good waiter does, is truly attentive to your whims and instinctively anticipates what you may want and he was perfect at his job. He served us water and a very food delicious basket of freshly baked bread ( which inadvertently set the tone for the meal to come because it was beyond excellent ) and named off the house specials, which were all mouth-watering at hearing them but it was the rib eye steak that caught my attention and that is what I ordered and also a ginger beer as well ( Fever Tree no doubt about it ). My family also ordered their food and then we waited for what what it seemed was an eternity for our meal to come. After about 40 minutes our meals came and they did not disappoint, from presentation to the flavor, taste and consistency of it all. I honestly don't remember eating my meal because it was done in 5 minutes... yes. it was that good and beyond delicious! I remember the steak was tender, juicy, grilled perfectly, the gravy was hearty and robust. the vegetables were cooked right ( fresh and tangy ) and the mashed potatoes were oh so fluffy and creamy. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal to the fullest and I left no food on my plate. This was a meal that was pretty epic for what it was and I was throughly satisfied. I ordered a tiramisu for dessert to take home and I'm sure it will be as good as the meal I had at the restaurant. Trattoria 360 is a fine establishment that has earned its flowers and you should give them a try if you're looking for delicious Italian food that is a cut above!

The server was very understanding. I was pescatarian at the time, so did not take part in all the meat offerings. But I've been to other locations and their steaks are usually pretty good. Their seafood is for a steakhouse. The sea bass was moist and slippery. The lobster bisque was creamy and decadent. One thing that's always consistent at Mastro's is their cocktails. I always get the grey goose martini and it never disappoints. Parking here is awful. I don't ever remember Valley Fair being this bad. I wish I had noticed earlier. Mine had a weird blue cheese taste and I ended up asking the waitress to confirm what I suspected. She did, but then just let it hang out there. For some seconds. Finally she said she's fire the right one for me after giving me a full on frown. I'm sorry, but I didn't make the mistake. It was very stilted and weird the interaction. I'm sorry but we were paying $150 each for lunch. It should be easy to fix a problem. The replacement steak was better but not the quality my wife had. I almost think they fired another 6 oz filet. But at least it didn't taste of blue cheese. Dessert - they gave us two complimentary desserts for birthdays. The apple crumble sort of thing was very good. The chocolate cake was dense, gritty, heavy, and really not enjoyable to eat. So most of it was left. The location itself was nice, and refilling the water was on point. The Diet Coke came out of a bottle, which was eh. I'd rather just have a refill. Anyhow, I will be avoiding this restaurant. It's sad LB steak closed - they were far superior in flavor and ambiance.

Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally made it over!…read moreThe drinks: 10/10 and affordable compared to nearby cocktail bars. I'd go here for drinks alone! Appy: SPÄTZLE WITH SMOKED CHICKEN - the pasta was soft and perfect, the chicken was Smokey salty and melted in your mouth, the corn and peas added a sweet crunch. I will be dreaming of this dish Entrees: CLASSIC WIENER SCHNITZEL PORK - crispy and the saltiness paired perfectly with the side of lingonberry sauce. Our server was kind enough to bring another cup of sauce as we could not get enough! PAN SEARED SALMON - This might be the best salmon I've ever had? Not too fishy and cooked perfectly. Slight crunch on the edges and melty in the middle. Paired exceptionally with the parsnip puree and blood orange reduction sauce Dessert: SACHER TORTE This one is tricky. The flavor was good. An interesting mix of chocolate apricot flavors. The cake was dry but upon a quick Google search the Austrian SACHER TORTE is meant to be a dry cake. So not loosing any stars here but will definitely be going with a different dessert next time. Service: 10/10 our water cups were never empty and they did a great job consistently checking in without being overbearing. The damage: $158.02 not including tip I personally cannot wait to go back! Thanks Naschmarkt :)

Scallops and paprikawurst were good. Everything else needed work. Steak was overcooked which was unfortunate. Also, 3% surcharge for credit card in this day and age is a bit foul.
