We had good expectations coming in on Father's Day for brunch. There was no we wait and we were able to sit outside on the patio. They had a loud speaker on the patio playing the TV inside. We were approached right away asking for our drink order. I was surprised to see a matcha option so went with lemon matcha which was iced. They didn't offer aqua fresca. The menu includes Mexican go-to like huevos rancheros and offers comfort food like waffles and chicken, healthy options like avocado toast and more. The place definitely has an atmosphere that is higher scale than a typical taqueria with excellence in how they serve up drinks and food with very good service. I ordered chicharrones with red sauce and eggs. Pretty nice dish overall. The guest "Father" had huevos rancheros. He liked the pan fried potatoes but thought the beans were watery. He thought the food was very plain tasting instead the traditional taste he expected. I really like to enjoy the beans and salsa but this experience misses the mark with watery beans and sour tasting salsa that may have been spoiled. It was served cold and had a fizzle salsa isn't supposed to have. We asked for a different kind of salsa which they brought. This one was better but also very watery. None of the food was bad but it lacked real taste that even a little salt would elevate the food. We left full bit not entirely satisfied with the overall meals.

Had a delicious lunch at Mia Casa! I ordered the chilaquiles, and they were so satisfying. The tortilla chips had plenty of flavor and were topped with crema, cheese, onions, and cilantro, with scrambled eggs and beans on the side. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and comforting, and the portion was generous. Such a great choice for a relaxed Mexican lunch or brunch. I'd definitely come back and order the chilaquiles again!

Great service. Clean environment. Good menu. Appreciated that they put a vegan Benedict with tofu in the menu but the Vegan hollandaise was a slight miss. The fruit was nice and fresh. The carrot orange juice was delicious. The burrito looked amazing.

Stopped by for brunch on a Saturday! It was lively inside but no wait for a party of 2 :). Waitstaff were very kind and attentive and the food was so so good! We got chilaquiles divorciados with green sauce and mole, and we also added steak and got our eggs sunny side up! The steak was delicious and the sauces on the chips were great! Overall so yum! The churro french toast was also amazing. Perfectly sweet and the fruits were good too :)

Came here for brunch last Saturday. Parking was easy at the strip mall they're in. They had plenty of tables indoors and outdoors. The decor inside was modern yet homey, very similar to their Mountain View location. Service was welcoming, attentive and super friendly. The complimentary pan dulce was a nice touch. They're subtly sweet, just a little harder than I expected. Great to have with our respective drinks (hot coffee, black tea, and iced chai latte). I really liked their crab omelette at the MV location. So, I ordered the same thing this time with roasted potato and wheat toast. The omelette was loaded with real crab meat, and the hollandaise sauce was smooth and creamy. My husband enjoyed his chorizo burrito with fruits. The crispy chicken sandwich our daughter ordered had a batter similar to that for fish & chips, and our daughter said it was good. She liked the fries that came with it as well. Portion size was very generous and we all had leftover to take home. Price was reasonable. They did have a 3% surcharge, though. Overall, a really solid brunch place with a lot of Mexican options that are available all day, even for items marked as available after 3pm on the menu. While their food could use a bit more flavor, their service was really top-notch!

Love love love the chilaquiles. I order this wherever I see it offered. Casa Mia has the best! It's just like Mexico. Their Caribbean French Toast is amazing too! They have a banana syrup that's divine. This is a popular busy spot so come early to get a seat.

Had lunch at Casa Mia with my family on a Saturday afternoon. I made a reservation for the five of us through Yelp and that worked out well. Casa Mia is located in the old Una Mas location in the Santa Teresa Main Street Shopping Center. They did a great job with the renovation. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Our food was delicious. I had the Malibu grilled chicken sandwich, and while it was so messy I had to eat it with a knife and fork, it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in recent memory. Other family members had the mushroom burger, club sandwich, Western BBQ burger, and kid's breakfast. Everyone agreed the food was wonderful. There was one tiny little hiccup, if you can even call it that. The menu includes food items only served after 3pm, but I didn't realize that and had my heart set on quesabirria tacos that weren't available for lunch. It all worked out fine-- I loved the sandwich I ended up ordering. Service was good and our food was served quickly. Prices are a little high, but it's like that everywhere nowadays. I'm looking forward to going back for dinner and having the quesabirria tacos.

Casa Mia is a Mexican influenced restaurant that seems to specialize in breakfast and lunch. The menu is eclectic. In addition to Mexican breakfast favorites like chilaquiles and juevos rancheros, they've also got ham and eggs, pancakes, and eggs benedict, The dinner menu includes enchiladas, burritos, mole, and chile rellenos, along with grilled salmon and ribeye steak. The menu is large; you can order breakfast items all day. The decor and atmosphere are modern and upscale; there is also outdoor seating. Our waiter was friendly, helpful, and attentive; we couldn't ask for better service. The food was amazing... the portions are good, the presentation was beautiful, and the flavor was great. I ordered a chile relleno, which cam with beans, rice, and tortillas. My friend had the seafood enchiladas. I'l certainly be back to Casa Mia, and I highly recommend it.

I finally got to try this place after hearing and reading good things about it from Yelp, NextDoor and word of mouth. Exciting to have a Mexican themed all day brunch spot in the area! For my first visit, it was a lunch timeslot, so I felt compelled to try a salad. I ordered the Tuna salad. I also got a side of fries. My friend ordered the Steak and Eggs. We loved our meals. Good portions and fresh ingredients. The salad was light and refreshing. The steak was cooked perfectly, the side of potatoes were nicely seasoned. I loved the french fries as well. Our server was attentive and checked several times if we needed anything. The ambience and decor was well done and I loved the "Instagram Wall" that many places are adopting. The menu is extensive and had a BUNCH of items I want to try! A whole page of Chilaquiles. And a whole page of different French toasts and pancakes, Benedicts, etc. Excuse me while I drool! Brunch items are served all day, along with salads, burgers and sandwiches. Plus a selection of entrees and appetizers served after 3. I will definitely be back!

Such a cute new spot in Blossom Valley! The space is super inviting with plenty of indoor seating plus some nice outdoor tables. I stopped by for lunch and was trying to keep things on the healthier side, so I went with the grilled chicken sandwich. The portion was great for the price and the chicken was actually juicy and not dry at all. And let me just say... the fries are AMAZING. Crispy and perfectly seasoned. The staff really made the experience even better. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Shoutout to Jessica for being the absolute best! I'm already looking forward to coming back for breakfast/brunch and trying more of their menu.

Casa Mia was truly a gem of a find. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant felt elegant and welcoming. The décor is beautiful -- bright, stylish, and almost gives you the feeling of dining at a chic oceanfront café. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed and happy to linger. Casa Mia clearly takes pride in their philosophy: creating dishes that are flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell they care about the ingredients and the experience they provide to their guests. The menu is extensive, with a wonderful mix of classic breakfast dishes and more creative options, and they also offer an all-day brunch menu, which we loved. Everything we ordered was excellent: My guava bellini was delicious and refreshing. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito, which was hearty and full of flavor. I had the chile relleno, which was fantastic. My son ordered the kids burger, and the portion was surprisingly generous -- honestly large enough for an adult -- especially for the very reasonable price. For dessert we shared the ube cheesecake, which was absolutely perfect for the three of us and a wonderful way to finish the meal. Overall, Casa Mia feels like a real treat of a place -- great food, beautiful ambiance, generous portions, and thoughtful service. It's the kind of hidden gem you almost want to keep secret, but it deserves the recognition. We'll definitely be coming back. 5/5 stars

Checked out Casa Mia for dinner tonight. They turned this former Una Mas location into a really beautiful restaurant. Our server was excellent. I wish I got her name (younger with glasses), as she was so helpful and provided a lot of recommendations. It has been hot in San Jose, so the Fish Tacos just sounded like the right choice. They really hit the spot and I loved the sauce they put on them. It was a nice heat that complimented the fresh fish. We are will be definitely coming back to try their breakfast on our next visit.

    Enchiladas
    Love K.

Can't speak for the breakfast which is what Casa Mia is apparently known for... but we came for an early dinner as I was craving enchiladas. I ordered the shredded chicken enchiladas with the verde sauce and opted for more beans than the side of rice. The dish hit the spot. It was clean (as in no fatty pieces) and was packed with flavor due to the verde sauce. The only downside is the customer service. After taking our order, the server didn't check on us until giving us our food and at the end to flag her down for the check. The reason for the low rating was because I watched my food sit under the lamp in the empty restaurant because my server and another worker were in some deep conversation. I'd definitely want to give this spot a chance again but I'm hoping they're more attentive going forward.

They had some Fanime specials for the con (katsu and egg salad sandwiches, spam musubi), seasonal drinks, of course coffees and teas, and non caffeinated drinks, as well as some food too (heated up pastries, both sweet and savory). There's a restroom with a code and a couple seats and tables with outlets to charge your devices. Service was welcoming and efficient especially after the crowds started to pick up. I got the: 1) Egg Salad Sando: -You can tell these were handmade in store. They had cute washi tape to hold the packaging together. -Solid egg salad sandwich. Slightly sweet white bread and generous amount of egg salad inside the sandwich. Creamy mayo taste that isn't too sour or tart, lots of egg in it. Perfect for an anime con next door. 2) Cappuccino: -I got this no sugar and sugar free and it came out with some pretty latte art. I thought it was mostly ok and boyfriend thought so too, but after several sips and when it was too late since we really had to get to the con, it just became too disgustingly sweet for him and he had to throw it away. 3) Yuzu Fresh Fruit Sparkler: -Yuzu puree with sparkling soda water. -Refreshing and not bad, but even after mixing this was a bit sweeter than what I would have liked and again, in our rush to leave, we couldn't really get this adjusted. I ended up pouring most of it in a water bottle to enjoy later and put in my bag. But ended up not finishing it in the end. Maybe next year I'll try again or just stick to the food stuffs.

The kitchen is open and you can appreciate the chefs working on their open wood fired grills and pizza ovens, which imparts a faint, woody, aromatic fragrance in the restaurant. The staff is polite and courteous. They left a signed note on the table for my husband's birthday which was a sweet gesture. For the drinks, we started with the jean claude pandan, pandan being the my husband's current favorite ingredient in food and drinks. I had the drink with dill, which the server warned me about being centered around the flavor of pickles (which I am personally fond of). The pandan drink was a light and refreshing highball and I found the dill cocktail to be creamy and delicious, but didn't really leave me with a sour aftertaste. For food, we went with the drip trio platter which came with fresh pita bread pieces, and the drip trio of hummus with roe on top, chilled tzatziki, and muhammara. Then we moved on to the oysters which were fresh, will a dressing of an herb oil of some sort. They also had a complementary palette cleanser in between which was a shot of watermelon and orange juice. For maincourse, my husband went for the tagliatelle and I chose the ravioli, both choices were corroborated by our server to be the right ones to go for. The tagliatelle is expensive because of the lobster and caviar that it comes with. However, the pasta is delicious and comes in a decadent sauce. Not a lot of lobster pieces though. The ravioli had a robust mushroom flavor and came with a light sauce of mushrooms, crispy fried shallots, and pine nuts. We skipped dessert because we were pretty full already. Would definitely recommend this place for a cozy dinner out but it's quite expensive so might not be a place to go to frequently.

It was perfect for an early morning to give me energy and the cheese and egg blended so well together and the pesto cheese was actually really good with it. They ran out of jalapeño cheese bagels, which is my favorite around eight in the morning for a Saturday, but I'm glad I got to try another flavor. The people here are really nice. I was debating between two cream cheese flavors and then they said I could do half-and-half which I loved. The Greek goddess spread is also amazing. Same with the honey walnut. I even got little chunks of walnut in the cream which I did not expect. I'll definitely be coming back. It's a little store with chairs and tables outside where you can eat at.

I've noticed that Vietnamese coffees tend to taste different depending on where you get it from. The little short lady with the brown highlights in her hair that helped me today was so damn sweet and precious, it makes me want to almost cry LOL. Ambience kind of reminds me of an open tavern, but more... modernized and simplified I guess? Anyways- I work at a doggy daycare and the Vietnamese coffee here hits all the points for me: smooth, creamy, delicious, and TURNS ME INTO AN EVEN BIGGER ENERGIZER BUNNY THAN SOME OF THE DOGS I WORK WITH. Love love love!!

The…read moreplace has a chill, cozy feel , nothing over the top, just a nice spot to sit and eat without feeling rushed. I tried one of their signature sandos and it was really solid. The bread was soft and fresh, and everything inside tasted balanced rather than heavy or greasy. It's simple food, but done properly, which makes a big difference. Coffee was also better than I expected and worked well with the sandwich. The staff were friendly and easygoing, and even though it was fairly busy, the wait wasn't long. Overall, it's just a nice, low-key place for a casual bite. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely somewhere I'd go back to when I'm in the mood for a good sandwich and a relaxed atmosphere.

This is one of the breakfast places in Downtown San Jose that you do NOT want to miss!…read more I stumbled upon this place after the Yelp app recommended me to try -- so you know I had to give it a try. Upon entering, I loved how spacious the place was, especially with the variety of foods they had: egg sandwiches, matcha lattes, coffee, and lots more. I was fortunate enough to try their egg drop in a jar alongside bacon and cheese, and their matcha latte. Both were very delicious and had a very natural taste to them :) They had self-order kiosks but at the same time, their hospitality and customer service was on par. They were very accommodating with regards to dietary restrictions (especially when it came to the milk selections for lattes, matcha was no different). I will definitely be coming back to this place to try more! (Hint hint: I may also try their other location as well -- that to.be saved for another time)

It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

One star, and it's entirely about how the staff handled a serious situation, not the food…read more I was harassed by another patron at the bar -- told to "go back to my own country." That's blatant racism, and it happened while I was a paying customer. Staff did nothing to address it in the moment. Understandably upset and shaken, I had too much to drink afterward. My family came and drove me home safely. Rather than addressing what actually happened -- a customer being racially harassed on their premises -- management's response was to ban me, not the person who harassed me. If a business allows this kind of harassment to go unaddressed and then punishes the target of it for reacting, that's a real problem, not a minor service issue. This is the San Francisco Bay Area. We should expect better than this. Avoid this place if you don't want to find out how they'll treat you when something like this happens to you.
