I came to Birks for a business dinner and this place is nice. I did feel underdressed since most were business casual and formal wear. I had a somewhat larger group and our server was very accommodating; service was very good. I ordered a 10oz filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Well made. The ambiance was good, but a bit too loud which is unavoidable.

Friendly and attentive staffs, good selection of food, great location and delicious food. Came here for business lunch, we had a great time. Appetizer sampler- the steak bits were juicy and tender. Garlic fries were flavorful Crab-shrimp Louie salad- big portion and delicious. Love the crab meat and big shrimps Seafood pasta was delicious but a bit salty. Will come back to try other items in the menu

My friend was in town and this is one of her favorite restaurants. I have never been here before, she said they are known for their prime rib. Service was decent, attentive when needed, but they pretty much left us a lone except for when it was time to fill our waters. The atmosphere was nice, your typical steak house feel. The food was fairly decent though nothing really stood out about it. The cut and flavor was good, but again nothing stood out. I will consider coming back because there were other things on the menu that seemed worth trying

The manager Robert was amazing... He is so nice and very caring.. We've never met a manager quite like him so cares for his customers... Ambiance was very comfortable, cozy and gorgeous... Food was so delish and so fulfilling.. They serve the food was very fast... Bathroom was absolutely clean and also offer pads and tampons in the woman bathroom.. Overall, we had a very great experience.. This is now our go to places when we're in town.. Thank you Robert, you're completely the BEST!!

My review for this location is a bit unusual. I went here for a celebration dinner my boyfriend took me to after I sold my company. It was convenient for us and a "nice spot," and we had both heard good things about it. Ambiance: Absolutely amazing. The Christmas decor was some of the best I've ever seen--truly magical. I'd 10/10 come back just for that--beautiful, special, and perfect for a celebratory occasion. Food: Mixed feelings here. I had the hamachi, which was well-flavored, but the quality of the fish didn't quite live up to the flavors. The soup was enjoyable, though small in portion, and the steak was mediocre. The wet salad was nothing special (but, honestly, what more can you expect from a wet salad?). Overall, the food was okay, but not memorable or worth the high price point--the bill was around $200 for just the two of us with no drinks. Service: A little glitchy. Our server wasn't always clear, and we weren't sure who was taking care of us at times. Water refills were slow, which became frustrating. Overall experience: While the food wasn't standout, the experience felt very occasion-worthy. The location works well for a special night out or hosting guests, but I probably wouldn't go back just for the food. The liquor selection is impressive, so if you enjoy drinks, you might really appreciate that aspect. In short: amazing ambiance (especially the Christmas decor!), okay food, spotty service, and a pricey menu. Great for a celebration, but not somewhere I'd go again

The food was not bad but the steak was slightly overcooked and the lobster was perfect on an order of steak and lobster. Also ordered a clam chowder that never came. There is plenty of parking and this restaurant is easy to find, but it's kind of tucked away in the middle of a random business park. I don't think I'll be back especially given the price.

A Margarita and an Old Rasputin.

Tucked away in the business district of Sant Clara, Birks has been here for years but still seves up great steaks and the best cocktails. The service is top notch. We will be coming back.

Seafood pasta

Excellent food every time. Prime rib, pasta, sliders and dessert is so yummy. Good service and good environment. A bit small though for big parties. Food never disappoints.

STEAMED SHELLFISH & FRIED CALAMARI

This restaurant impresses me every time! The service is impeccable because they are always attentive and friendly. I usually always frequent the bar area where there is always open seating. Providing a welcoming ambiance that is relaxing, warm and charming. The menu is exactly what you want if you're looking to entertain your elevated palate. I had a favorite steakhouse before, but this place blows other restaurants out of the water. Starting with the oysters, fried calamari and steamed shellfish, was nothing but a delight. The margarita was top notch to pair. Then moved to the bone in ribeye, each bite was a treasure. I can't even put it into words how good it was. Paired with prisoner wine. Ending with the cheesecake and a coffee, was just the cherry on top! This place is one you don't want to miss if you're looking to indulge in some good food and great service! Highly recommend

We came today for Thanksgiving Lunch. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Have their set prime rib meal for 4 people. The prime ribs is excellent, cook to just the way we want it . Very flavorful. Side dish are vegetables and creamy meshed potatoes. End with crème brûlée and coffee , a glass of coffee . Service is good and we enjoy dinning in here . They have a wide selection of wines too .

My wife and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary here at Birks. It was a phenomenal experience. The service was prompt and attentive. And the food was out of this world. Starting with the Clam Chowder, and ending with the most tender prime rib. All well seasoned and delicious. Excellent atmosphere! Will definitely be returning.

From the outside, it looks like a small church, and inside it feels like a greenhouse. Unfortunately, the service was pretty disappointing. We were seated right away, but no one came by to take our order. After waiting for a while, my husband ended up going to the bar to order directly from the staff at the front. The wine itself was also just okay and was served fairly warm. Not sure if that was intentional, but it wasn't what we expected. We wanted to order the cheesy pizza, but the waitress mistakenly brought out a charcuterie board instead. When we pointed it out, there wasn't really an offer to send it back or comp it, so we just decided to take it to go and ordered the pizza afterward. Since we were taking the charcuterie with us, we asked for a bag to carry everything. The waitress came back with gallon-sized Ziploc bags, which honestly felt a little weird and kind of summed up the experience. I'm from San Francisco and went out of my way to try this spot, so it was pretty disappointing overall.

Hop & Vine has become my go-to spot when I'm in the mood for someone to make a charcuterie board…read morefor me. I love putting together boards at home, but there's just something that hits different when it's done for you. They also have cheeses and meats that I wouldn't normally have access to, which makes it more special. I also LOVE that the charcuterie board comes with both mustard and honey: underrated but very important. I also got a red wine flight and let the server choose the specific wines for us. I still ended up falling back on a classic Cab as my favorite, but it was cool to try a few different ones, rank them, and then realize our rankings shifted the more we kept sipping lol. We also got the rosemary & prosciutto pizza, which looks pretty unassuming at first but is actually so good. Pro-tip: save the extra crust and use it with your charcuterie. It basically becomes a fluffy cracker for all the extra meats, cheeses, and spreads on your plate. Overall, this is one of those easy, reliable spots that feels a little elevated without trying too hard. Perfect for a relaxed night where you just want to snack, sip, and hang out.

I totally understand how they made the top 100 in the SF Chronicle list, it's so well deserved!…read more I have only heard golden reviews of goodtime bar through peers and thought it was a great time to finally check it out! I came here with a friend on a weekday for dinner and it was not packed at all. The atmosphere was very minimalist and clean, with a cute disco ball in the corner. This establishment requires you to order at the bar (makes sense it's a bar), and then they did you a number for the table so they can deliver your food. Any drinks you order they will make it right then and there for you to bring over. In terms of food, here is everything we ordered and my thoughts! *Deviled eggs: You would think since it's deviled eggs, there wouldn't be anything too special about them but I appreciated the small pops of salmon roe that added a nice textural play with the creamy eggs! * Bluefin tostada: Absolutely delicious with fresh tuna, paired with mango, on a crispy wonton chip. What a rich treat. * Arancini: The twist of fusion flavors was great. I love how the Japanese curry added a nice mix of umami, paired with the sharp creamy kimchi sauce. Definitely a favorite! * Pork belly: Pull apart, juicy, and tender! These paired actually really well with the arancini for a good balance of rice and meat. * Red miso crème brûlée: interesting sweet and salty flavor combination between the red miso and Madagascar vanilla. Not too overpowering tho. A lovely meal was had here!

I think traditionally, you need reservations for Cielo, but their Winter Experience (ran through December and mid-January) is first-come, first-served. The Winter Experience is a Christmas-themed set-up - very tastefully and beautifully decorated - with Christmas music (even 2 weeks after the New Year). the tables along the edge have small in-table fire pits AND a tall heated furnace - you will not be cold in December. these tables do require a minimum spend of $50 per person, which we came into this expecting that regardless - however, it sounds like you can sit at any of the other tables without this minimum spend, though you will only have a blanket for warmth. the sunset was beautiful, though keep in mind that we do live in a city, and there are other tall buildings around, so don't set your expectations too high. Overall, we are so happy we finally checked this place out, and that we were able to do so during the Winter Experience. We did find it overpriced (considering it's at Hotel Valencia... we weren't surprised) for what you get. I tried one cocktail (~$20) that tasted like a flavored soda, before switching to wine; my husband had 2 Old Fashioned, they were both made differently but both good. The food was good - small, shareable portions. We're happy to have finally stopped in, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come again. HOW TO GET THERE: enter Hotel Valencia from the ground floor; take the elevator to Floor 3; go straight down the hall, pass the front desk on your left, to the second set of elevators; take that to the top floor

When compared to the APRÈS VILLAGE experience at the Four Seasons, it doesn't come close. The food menu is very limited, and food took quite a while to come out. My partner and I tried their Imperial Stout, Spaten Oktoberfest & their special Pumpkin Pie Spritz. The imperial stout: I wasn't a big fan but my partner loved it. The Spaten Oktoberfest, it was honestly very tasty and I enjoyed it a lot. Their special, Pumpkin Pie Spritz, was DELICIOUS. If I could taste a true Pumpkin pie in a drink, that was it. It has so much flavor. It made an excellent dessert after dinner. I also decided to try their Burrata Crostini for the first time and it was very good. The flavors all blended very well together, from the creamy cheese, to the tomato, to their balsamic glaze. It was an excellent choice & I strongly recommend it. The people who work here have always been so kind and attentive when it came to service. I love their outdoor area as it's in the heart of Campbell, the interior design is also very modern & sophisticated. I've never had a bad experience here so far. It has been my fourth experience here and not once have I been disappointed. If you're looking for a great choice in wine/ spritz with excellent customer service, don't look further.
