Might be best steakhouse in South Bay. Service and decor always on point. Cocktails are very good but pricey so after a few it'll rack up your bill. Great spot for special occasion or when someone is treating

Where do I even begin to start about brunch at Be.Steak.A. This is indeed a special dining experience. My bestie and I came here for their all you can eat buffet brunch on Mother's Day. We started out with complimentary glasses of Prosecco and sparkling cider while we waited to be seated. There was a little delay in getting our table, but it wasn't really a problem because we were chatting and enjoying the drinks. Before we entered, they had a floral photo wall where we took a photo together to memorialize the experience. And when we sat at the table, they had placed a lovely Mother's Day card on the table signed by the staff. The decor at Be.Steak.A is modern and feels very upscale. I think the bathrooms say a lot about a restaurant's attention to detail, and the bathrooms at Be.Steak.A were elevated - essential oil infused salt scrub to wash your hands, bidets, etc. The brunch buffet is just as described - hot items and pastries in the kitchen (so cool), a caviar bar outside, a separate station for cold seafood, another station for fruit and charcuterie, and then assorted desserts on the bar. The food was excellent. We started with the caviar -- the options and accouterments were plentiful and delicious. The caviar bar was so fun and felt luxurious. This was one of the highlights of the whole experience for me. For the other seafood, we enjoyed oysters, shrimp, crab legs, and other little seafood dishes, which unfortunately weren't labeled, so we didn't always know what we were eating. My friend had some dietary restrictions she was concerned about, so that was a little frustrating for her. But my favorite bite of the entire day was one of those unmarked seafood dishes- I wish I could tell you what it was -I think it was possibly squid. But it was so fresh and flavorful. Yum! The hot food in the kitchen was a neat experience. They had skewers and prime rib and many other dishes to choose from. I kept coming back to the seafood skewers. We were a little bummed that the beef Wellington was just gone when we entered the kitchen. There was still about another hour and a half of brunch service left so that was a disappointment for us. They also had numerous pasties and this amazing bread pudding that I drizzled a Nutella sauce over and added some strawberries to. This was probably my third favorite bite of the day (after the little seafood dish and the caviar experience). I'd be remiss if I didn't give the truffled deviled eggs from the charcuterie area a shout out. These were so good we kept going back for more. The desserts were good but a number of them were a little dry, I have to say. Surprisingly, my favorite was a little passionfruit tart that had just the right amount of sweetness. I'm usually a chocolate kinda gal but there weren't that many chocolate options, I have to say. A few other things- our server was lovely and gave us a lay of the land to start. She made sure we had any drinks we wanted and plenty of extra silverware. While there just aren't as many touch points with a server at a buffet, the interactions we did have were very positive. And even though I was disappointed that they ran out of the Beef Wellington, I was so impressed with how they kept replenishing and refilling the other dishes right up to the end of the buffet. This was an incredible dining experience. I'd highly recommend this brunch buffet experience for special occasions. I'm looking forward to dining here for dinner in the not so distant future!

Our second go to Be.Steak.A. First time we had cocktails and some bites at the bar. Experience was ok. It's been around a few years so we decided to give it another go. Sat at the bar again. Disclaimer is this is just my experience.... As we sat down we were greeted just fine. Ordered a couple cocktails. The wife received hers and about 5-8 mins later I asked for mine. Whether or not it was true the bartender said it needs time to set. Well you could have said it takes time while my wife was waiting to sip on hers(mediocre communication). We then proceeded to order the scallop appetizer. While the presentation was good. The scallops were rubbery and overcooked. A few mins later we had to ask to order some entrees. Key words "had to ask". I got the hot stone trio. She got the lobster risotto. We decided on indulging a little. While we were waiting I asked for a wine list... 5 minutes later I asked again different server finally got the list. No revisit. The food came. Still looking to order wine about 8-10 mins in a different bartender came in and asked, we ended up getting a bottle wine. The food: the hot stone trio, for $230, mediocre cuts of supposedly A5 Japanese wagyu. They were out of the Sanuki and said we'll substitute with an Oregon beef. Just not worth the money. The lobster was ok, the risotto was already cooled off, seemed like it was sitting. So for 2 of us with a $700 plus meal the service was not on par with other similar establishments. Combine that with food that was definitely not worth the $$$$, it is not a return for me. Including hosting business here. Not sure if they judged us cause we weren't all dressed up, due to just coming from the local movie theater or what, but service was not there, unfortunate.

Came back here today for Mother's Day brunch. It's been about 2 years since I've dined here and both my husband and I agreed this place still satisfies. They've raided the bubbles and brunch prices $10 since we were last here and truthfully that's not so bad considering how much everything else has gone up with inflation. We both definitely felt we got our moneys worth in caviar alone. And an addition they've added since we last dined here were crab legs. I used to comment that the one item I felt missing were crabs. The porchetta and beef Wellington still slaps. Very tasty. I finally tried the filet today with some chimichurri and it was tasty. Their oysters and shrimp were super fresh. The person shucking the oysters was working non stop. We appreciate the variety here. Much better quality than those popular Vegas buffets. Shout out to our server, Kimberly, who was also on point. Extremely kind, quick and courteous. Several years later and this place still hits it for us. I'm actually raising my original rating from 4 to 5 stars.

We went here for my bfs birthday and they treated us SO well. The restaurant is both elegant and comfortable. They greeted us at the door with fresh bone broth that was exquisite. They had me at hello haha. This was the most incredible steak I've ever had. True perfection. The hamachi was also by far the best and most creative preparation I've ever had. They also brought out a birthday dessert that was so delicious. I LOVE this place. I will be back. Perfect for special occasions! They don't miss a beat here. Even the bathrooms are elite.

It has been a long time since we've dine at a steak house. We decided to come here for our 10 year anniversary celebration with our 4 year old in tow. It was amazing and delicious. We were given bone broth while we waited and it was so delicious. We were given a booth with an happy anniversary card which was a nice touch. They were really sweet to our little toddler. The food was delicious - we all enjoyed it. Very well presented. The restaurant itself was spacious and calming decor. Unlimited candy for you to select from and take home! Bathrooms were luxurious.

I went to Be.Steak last friday. Reservation is 8pm. I have been there when it first open. 1) Decor, very nice 2) Front hostess, super nice and when you first walk in and check in. Will get bone broth soup in a small cup while you wait. 3) Their service is amazing, my waiter/server is Luke, he is very knowlegable about wine and steak. My husband and I have a lot of qn about steak and wine. His suggestion is wonderful. 4) Order a bunch of appertizer, and also order steak, scallops. Pasta, Salad. Dessert. My party has 4 persons, good to order more and share and try out. 5) Scallop is perfect, steak is good. Every thing's taste is very good. 6) Definitelly an expensive steak house. I saw it said michelin star. Every penny you spent is totally worth it. Highly recommended, will be back sometimes.

Oh my this is easily the best buffet I've ever been to. We went for Mother's Day the service was so professional and friendly. Greeted with a glass of prosecco. Raw bar, caviar bar, charcuterie bar, juice bar, and THEN the phenomenal buffet. See pictures below. Very very relaxing place to dine as well! Can't wait to go again

Fancy place with lunch reservation, walked in on time and greeted right away with warm and savory broth, like it. The inside has up to date decorative lightings, also great set up for special occasions. Friday lunch, we had 5 mins just us , then people started to show up, noise level is decent. There are couple complimentary dishes from the chef , organic vegetables and flower - the ones are so good until we found lots of bugs on the lettuce , mentioned to the waitress, she claimed that is what it is for organic. I am wondering if organic means no need to wash ?! Well, she took away that plate, and didn't give us another one , even no asking on it , kinda of disappointed for a fancy service place . Another complimentary dish was the mash potato balls, they were ok , good as freebies. For the dishes we tried, very liked the bread waitress recommended: Faccaccio Di Recco -- Must try, freshly baked with cheese in side and Oliver oil outside, 5 star impression from my taste bud. Rib Eye , medium rare, good quality with disappointed looking and taste caramelized onions. The onion looked and tasted mushy, watery .... The truffle fry was good, only sad face when the waitress took away without asking if I want to bag the rest to go. Lastly, the pecan pie, 2 stars with the price I paid. The crust was hard, the pecan filling part was dry ... besides sweet and just sweet. Overall experience 3 out of 5 with high expectations on the dishes and services. We got complimentary cookies towards end, that is dry and hard like sugar rock. Sorry to be picky on even free stuff. Just hoped for something yummy and I won't feel quilt for that much sugar I ate. This is a place for special occasion celebration, and dish choice can determine the number of stars . This trip overall is 3.7, rounded up to 4.

This was my second time here. And I'll just say my first impression brought me back, however this does not seem to measure up to my memory. 1. No more beef bone broth when you come in. it was chicken bone broth BUT it was Amazing! The mushroom broth landed flat. 2. The dining room was much brighter than I recall. We ate in the bar at a high top. So for a steak house I just naturally gravitate towards a darker moody vibe. Not this place. 3. Ordered the Brazilian bombshell cocktail. Presented beautiful. Tastes good too. Had a harsh unexpected bitter. I did not want to finish the drink. 4. They provided a light complimentary veggies on ice with a dip. Tasted like butter but mixed with flavor (very unique). I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was but it was tasty. 5. Ate the delicious Burrata Pugliese. This comes with a fresh baked bread. This is a BIG Yes!! 5. My husband ordered whisky on a rock. Took way too long to deliver especially because the bar was not full and we sat right next to it. 6. Yam stones. The yam taste was super light. Nice crispy exterior and super light and fluffy inside, sitting on top of a light creamy sauce. I did not like this at all. These were so sticky to cut with a knife and fork. They use a mochi like dough so they are like eating mochi. Super chewy. Super sticky. I at 1/2 of one and chewed far too long. Didn't taste natural to me. Sent it back. However I saw lots of orders being delivered. 7. Charred cauliflower- this was very delicious. A flavorful compliment to the steak. Al dente just cooked enough to not mushy. Raisins are on top. Added a nice sweet. 8. Filet Mignon. Cooked to perfection. Great flavor. And topped with a seasoned butter. Excellent. So glad. It's a steak house, they got this right.

(My group always takes each other out and treats the bday person.) I've actually always wanted to try their Sunday Brunch, but I am a steak lover. Dinner as an alternative was fine with me. We were seated at a table off in the corner which felt more private. So I'm not gonna lie, I'm super extra. Tho sometimes without realizing it. I can never eat a full steak. And I like my meat rare. When a friend who likes the same temp agreed to share, he mentioned he wanted the namesake steak. I agreed without really thinking about it or realizing the price. Holy cow! I have the best friends ever cuz that steak was expensive! And for two people, huge! (Go on with the TWSS jokes.) It was so tender and juicy tho. The perfect yum! There was an issue with the first steak. It was way overcooked for rare. Our server apologized profusely and sent out another one. And he let us keep the overcooked steak so others in our party who prefer a higher temp got to try it. Definitely a splurgy spot, but I had so much fun. A great special occasion meal. REVIEW #3853

We came here to celebrate an anniversary. From the moment we entered to the minute we left, it was a fabulous time. The hosts in the beginning were so nice and offered us a warm broth to drink to prepare ourselves for the amazing meal we were about to have. We ended up ordering family style and shared all the dishes we ordered from the small bites to the HUGE porterhouse steak. I thought it was so cool to see the steak before they cooked it. I of course had my partner take a few pictures of me before we saw the final product. We loved the atmosphere and how genuinely friendly everyone was. I would come again!

Very good service and food here! It was getting cold outside and nice to have a chicken broth when you entered the restaurant. All the chefs worked busy but happily inside the open kitchen made me very excited to have my first experience here. We were there for our anniversary and they took us a little bit darker( good mood) and I saw the message card on the table. The server gave us good recommendations and all the food we ordered were delicious! This restaurant made our anniversary special and we definitely come back again!

We called ahead around 845 to verify our 9pm reservation because we saw they closed at 9:30pm and we wanted to be respectful of their time. Bryan answered the phone and assured us we will have enough time to be seated and served before closing. He was very kind and welcoming so we headed over. We were greeted by Chris and seated immediately in the table that he let us choose. He made thoughtful suggestions on location being by the window, the booth where it was quieter or wherever we wanted because "this place is yours". This is not a typical thing I usually experience when being seated so this stood out to my wife and I. We appreciated this gesture. Once seated he took our drink orders, my wife wanted to try one of the wines before getting a glass so he brought a small sample. Once returning he asked if she wanted to select another or "take this one for a drive". The expression was simple and displayed the thoughtfulness that came from him the entire night. Simply taking time to craft words and be present is something that we noticed and appreciated. We ordered a carbonara and a pasta with prawn. The food came out fairly quickly since we arrived at a time past some of the peak hours. The bread with olive oil and balsamic came out first obviously. The carbonara and prawn pasta was so beautifully plated and presented that we forgot to take a picture for this review. We dug into the food immediately. At this time, maybe a coincidence, I checked my watch to be mindful of the time. At the same time, Kevin walked up to our table to let us know what we are good on time and that, "the back hasn't started the dishes or started cleaning up yet". There were still other parties around at that time. This was another detail that stood out to me. He might have seen me check my watch but to know what I was thinking at that moment and then respond to it is a first for me. This is beyond thoughtful. After a couple more wholesome interactions with Kevin and Chris, we ended up ordering a pannacota. This was the best I have ever had in my life. Kevin stayed for a while to chat while Chris was tending to other tables at the time. I can't say enough about the warmth in this place shown by Bryan, Chris and Kevin. I will definitely return and I want to bring my family there. The food was top tier but the people were what will bring me back.

But hey, for a higher price, they better deliver on the food quality! It most certainly disappoint. The food was amazing. Got the Linguini Fruti Di Mare, the seafood was good quality, the cioppino sauce was intense. It truly is the boss of the sauce. Also ordered the Chicken Marsala, I'm always cautious before ordering because the marsala wine can easily become overwhelming, or the sauce is too sour, or the chicken is tough and dry. I did not hit any of those, but rather, what I got was a few silky smooth and tender pieces of flattened chicken breasts, that is moist and flavorful. The sauce is great too, not to mention the mushroom, that is so fresh and flavorful on its own. Last but not least, their attention to detail went all the way to mashed potato and steamed vegetables. It was truly one of the best. Did I mention the free, fresh baked foccacia? It's among the top 3 I've had in any restaurants, ever. At the end, even it pinches my wallet a bit, it was well worth it. Come hungry, leave happy!

Now I get why Sorelle has such a high score, and I'm happy that we finally gave it a try…read more It's situated in a small strip mall, parking is ok as we came at around 6:30pm on a week day night, there were still some spots available. Sorelle is a small restaurant, upon entering, it has a square room and you get to see everything at one glance. It's not fancy on decorations, more like a neighborly place and the customers look like so too, families and large groups on a random day, you don't need to dress up to eat in this place. The 2 page menu has appetizers, salad, pizza, pasta, and 3 entree dishes. Desserts are printed on a separate sheet, there are a variety of choices but a tad too expensive for my wallet. We ordered the Ravioli a la Teresa with cheese and pesto cream sauce, and their signature Sorelle Short Rib Bolognese. After ordering, we were given free bread for the table. The bread had herbs on top and the dipping sauce is olive oil with fried and then mashed soft garlic. The bread looked nothing special, but once I touched it, I was delighted to find out that they were warm and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside. It took a bit of wait for our food to came, I think it meant they were freshly cooked. The portions were big. Once laying down our food, the lady came with a big bowl of cheese and helped us sprinkle on top. It looks amazing with the cheese on top, like snow flakes melting on. I am so impressed with my short rib bolognese. The piece of short rib was sumptuous, a whole piece, resting on top of the pasta that is covered in meat sauce. The meat itself was so soft that it was super easy to tear off and just melts in my mouth. Flavorful and soft and juicy, super yummy! The pasta is cooked el dente, and each bite there's a bit of ground meat coated on the ziti pasta from the bolognese sauce. Very satisfying! I had a bite of the ravioli and these huge dumplings are covered in fresh pesto sauce and very cheesy inside. Although I was a bit confused on the difference between a pesto sauce and a pesto cream. I felt like the sauce was more pesto but we ordered pesto cream. Anyhow, it tasted good but I prefer my short rib bolognese more. Bus boy service is fast and responsive. We had a very enjoyable meal.

We ordered two Pollo Saltimbocca dishes (one with a cream pasta substitution for an additional $8), the Pollo al Limone, and a half bottle of Chardonnay. The restaurant offers one indoor dining area and two outdoor seating areas--one in the front and one in the back--which gives guests plenty of seating options. The food was a bit saltier than our personal preference. The cream pasta substitution, despite the extra charge, wasn't anything particularly memorable compared to similar dishes we've had at other restaurants. However, the highlight of our visit was definitely the warm and welcoming customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel appreciated. We also appreciate that the restaurant closes for a few hours in the afternoon before reopening for dinner service. It's nice to see a business that gives its staff a break during the day. Parking can be a bit challenging due to the busy neighborhood. Be aware that street parking is paid, and most spots have a two-hour limit, so you'll need to keep an eye on the time. Overall, we'd come back to try more of the pasta dishes on the menu and hope to discover a new favorite.

We had kids with us and they managed to move things around for us to be comfortable. Thank you very much for the amazing service and laughs! The appetizers we ordered were pretty good -- bruschetta (fam favorite), burrata + prosciutto, beef carpaccio, and calamari (a little tough). I really enjoyed my spicy rigatoni! That was so good and creamy and just the perfect kick of spice. Everyone else seemed to enjoy theirs -- Milan fettuccine, Linguine Vongole, Beef lasagna, and spaghetti bolognese. Unfortunately the risotto was not the best, it was a bit overcooked and tasted more like salty rice than creamy risotto. Overall it was a great dinner and service! Hope to be back soon!

We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday, had a fantastic dining experience, and will definitely be back. To start, the complimentary soft bread was absolutely delicious--perfectly warm and fresh. For our main courses, we ordered the seafood linguine and the pork chop. The seafood linguine was packed with fresh flavor and perfectly cooked pasta, while the pork chop was incredibly tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. What made the night even better was the exceptional service. Our server, Jacob, was informative, attentive, and incredibly friendly. He even recommended a perfect Merlot to pair with the pork chop, which complemented the meal beautifully. We wrapped up the celebration with the tiramisu, which was outstanding--the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. Highly recommend checking this place out!

The food looked good, but my date and I didn't get a chance to try it. I live in the area and have always seen this place when going past. It looked cool and since it had such great yelp review, I thought tonight would be a good time to try it out. Just got out from a comedy show and we arrived at 9:10pm - it says they close at 10pm so we should be ok right? We only wanted to stop in, get a drink or two, and maybe 1-2 apps. After being greeted by the host, who was very nice, we told her that we just wanted to sit at the bar and get a drink and maybe a couple apps. She said "great!" with a big smile and led us there. While being led there I noted that the place had really cool decor and lighting, felt very cozy and italian. This is where it switched from a nice experience into a really quite bad one. As soon as we sat at the bar we felt unwelcome. There was a bartender there, middle-aged man with glasses and longish shaggy black hair that immediately gave us a "mean mug" type look. "That's strange..." I thought to myself. He did not greet us and seemed pre-occupied with closing the bar, wrapping up the beer spigots etc. The vibe was totally off, we are unwanted it seems. We sat there for maybe 1-2 minutes until he finally turned to us and said "Are you guys waiting for someone?" "We just want a menu" my date replied. "The restaurant is closed" he said, in quite a brusk and rude tone. I looked at my watch. It was 9:15pm. "But it says you guys close at 10pm, is that not the case?" I piped up. "No." he said, shaking his head. He turned his back to us. At this point I thought, lets go to a place that wants our money. I work with customers in my day job and would never be able to interact with a customer in the way he did. Honestly, if you're that way with customers I feel you're more suited to a warehouse job than you are working a bar. "We're not wanted here, lets leave" I said to my date. We got up and left. With people working like that working at their restaurant - save your money and go to some place else with good service. If the bar itself was closed, fine, offer us a table or something. Be nice about it. Instead we got quite rude (non)service. Again, the host was nice, keep her. But buyer beware - if you come during the last hour expect to be treated like you're unwanted garbage from unfriendly bartenders. Maybe update your hours if you "actually" close 50 minutes before it says you do?
