We love coming here for coffee and food. This weekend was super hot and my friend and I wanted to meet for coffee and decided to go to heartbeat since it's between our homes. The owner is always so kind and friendly. I had an iced mocha and my friend had this salad. The salad was gorgeous. They have inside and outside dining and a variety of prepared or food freshly made food, drinks, desserts, and fun little retail items. I highly recommend this place. Parking is never a problem and it is super peaceful.

BIG Shout out to the Heartbeat Café! I swung by this place a few months ago without my wallet while juggling daddy duty and in a rush to squeeze in a lunch with my toddler before nap time. Living in Silicon Valley I just assume all places have Apple Pay however I didn't make the realization that this beautifully unique little nook did not have Apple Pay. The owner led with compassion and made my daughter and my lunch and allowed me to come back later to pay with a credit card. Fast-forward a few months, and I swung by with my mom who is visiting from the East Coast. We made our order and as I went for my wallet, the owner asked if I would like to use Apple Pay. To my elation, she had taken our conversation to Hart and got Apple Pay soon thereafter for her business. Amazing food... Phenomenal people!

Stingy portions of bad food at high prices. Slow service. An interior that's so baking hot you can't tolerate it. Needless to say I did not enjoy this terrible place. I tried their breakfast burrito with bacon, the smoked salmon bagel, and a double latte. The breakfast burrito was microwaved gas station quality. Served with jarred salsa. It was so bad. Really disgusting. The bagel, for $12, had barely any toppings. Look how stingy that is. $12 for $2 of food, nice markup for barely any work. The latte tasted of milk. No discernible coffee flavor. Overall, well, the roses in the little courtyard outside are nice. But I would never come back for food or drinks.

I grabbed a vanilla iced coffee while on my break and it was amazing! Super cute and peaceful environment with kind employees. Will come here again!

I highly recommend going to the Heartbeat Café - been there several times their coffee is excellent and Service is superb. The pastries pastries are awesome. So far I have tried the lemon bars, scones, we did henemans bread, and crepes. I usually stop in on Saturdays. They have a real nice outside and inside seating area which is great for groups of people too.

Super cute mom and pop cafe with character! The food was surprisingly tasty. We got the breakfast burrito and the Turkey avocado pesto crepe that comes with house marinara sauce which is really yummy. The breakfast burrito was also really solid. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Quite a bit of tables outside for you to dine and enjoy a nice day out. If you come on Saturdays there's the Cambrian farmers market in the parking lot for some fresh produce. Plenty of parking here as the plaza is pretty big.

I met a friend here for lunch. They have outdoor seating which is appreciated in these times. It was a little chilly but the sun was out which was nice. It appears to be family owned and the lady who took our order and served us was super nice. I got the ricotta and spinach crepe and the Italian Wedding soup. The soup was good and hearty. Not a big fan of the crepe though, it was unlike anything I have had and not in a good way. Rounding the rating given that this is a small business.

Came for a coffee and enjoyed every sip of it. The owner was amicable and quick service. Lots of pastries to choose from and all around very affordable. The chai latte was absolutely delicious. The ambiance is fantastic inside and out, and the outdoor seating has shaded umbrellas! Ample parking and easy to find.

The HeartBeat Cafe is such a cute cafe! It is a hidden cafe in the Cambrian Plaza. It truly is a gem and you must try it! All of the food and drinks are super yummy! The entire cafe has a great atmosphere and has the cutest decorations. When you order, your food comes out very fast! I highly recommend!!

I went to this spot with a friend back in January. It was freezing inside! Not sure if their heater was busted, but it definitely wasn't cozy. We grabbed two coffees, a bagel with smoked salmon, and a crepe. Can't recall the exact flavor of the crepe, but it had spinach. Bagel was alright, but the crepe was seriously lacking flavor. Oh, and a little more friendliness from the servers wouldn't hurt!

What an unexpectedly delightful place! I pass the shopping center fairly often, and I have never seen this place as it is in the far corner away from the main road. It is surrounded by beautiful flowers and greenery, and tucked away in the cutest little spot. Inside the decor is that of an old-fashioned tea house/candy shop. The lady that works there was super friendly. I ordered over the phone and my order took about a half hour, but thankfully I was not in a rush. I would definitely go back to try their breakfast crêpes as I did not see them listed on the menu before I arrived. So happy to find such a cute local spot since I am new to the area! One thing I would like to know, is if the crêpes are gluten or dairy free or can be made as such.

I hadn't been on this side of town in awhile. I was so glad one of my favorite cafe's is still here! From food and beverages to ambiance to the pretty outdoor seating area, This place is everything a local cafe should be. Love the friendly and super attentive staff as well! Don't sleep on this lovely spot!

I looked at some of the other reviews and their doordash image and I'm confused on what I got. Portions are huge and one sandwich is plentiful which can be easily shared among two people for sure. Nowadays, the experiences aren't the same anymore and perhaps, it's been under new people management or something. It's been lacking some logistics and sometimes, it's difficult to hear the order being called out while lots of customers are inside. I told the front staffs that I wanted my portobello chicken sandwich $15.99 and the watermelon beverage $7.99 for here/dine-in. I even left them over $3.50 tips here. While everyone else picked up their orders very fast, mine was stuck somewhere in between others. They all got table numbers except me. I even asked if I needed a table number since I was planning to dine-in, but nobody answered or wanted to respond. They were too busy preparing sandwiches. Wait time to receive order was a bit over 15 minutes. I ended up standing around waiting and waiting, thinking about why I even tipped the place when my anxiety levels were escalating. Without a table number, how would they even know which table outside to deliver my orders to? Portobello chicken sandwich was very good though. Ingredients are full. Ciabatta bread was huge. This thick sandwich can definitely feed two people. Watermelon beverage tasted good too. Tables weren't all wiped down outside, but I can see the few employees hustling and bustling. It's still a strange feeling to not have a table number assigned to me while others did have one. Overall, sandwiches are still good and portions are generous. People love coming here. I think the staffs need more management briefing. They are all hardworking, but the front counter service leaves an impression and feeling about the overall experiences here.
