This is a cute cafe in the Cambrian Park Plaza in between BMO and Dollar Tree. It's difficult to find because the "Heart Beat Cafe" is a very small icon on the large sign. Its very cozy and electic inside but needs better lighting inside. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the food because I was so hungry. However, I really enjoyed the quality of the ingredients and flavors. The bread was very good!

First time here. Ordered: -White Chocolate Mocha. Big and foamy top. -Pirogi. Very new to me and so delicious with the sauce. -Breakfast burrito. Nice and filling, with very mild(in a good way) salsa sauce dip. The interior alone was very cute and has original antique things which always attract me, compared to the usual cafes with a fake vibe. Yolanta is sweet and welcoming. It got really busy around 12, but she took down orders and many guests seemed like regulars. Will come again soon!

We love coming here for coffee and food. This weekend was super hot and my friend and I wanted to meet for coffee and decided to go to heartbeat since it's between our homes. The owner is always so kind and friendly. I had an iced mocha and my friend had this salad. The salad was gorgeous. They have inside and outside dining and a variety of prepared or food freshly made food, drinks, desserts, and fun little retail items. I highly recommend this place. Parking is never a problem and it is super peaceful.

Such a tiny ass burrito I've never seen such a small burrito but it tastes okay

Very small portion for a very high price I've never seen such a small burrito. This place is a rip off go somewhere else

BIG Shout out to the Heartbeat Café! I swung by this place a few months ago without my wallet while juggling daddy duty and in a rush to squeeze in a lunch with my toddler before nap time. Living in Silicon Valley I just assume all places have Apple Pay however I didn't make the realization that this beautifully unique little nook did not have Apple Pay. The owner led with compassion and made my daughter and my lunch and allowed me to come back later to pay with a credit card. Fast-forward a few months, and I swung by with my mom who is visiting from the East Coast. We made our order and as I went for my wallet, the owner asked if I would like to use Apple Pay. To my elation, she had taken our conversation to Hart and got Apple Pay soon thereafter for her business. Amazing food... Phenomenal people!

Stingy portions of bad food at high prices. Slow service. An interior that's so baking hot you can't tolerate it. Needless to say I did not enjoy this terrible place. I tried their breakfast burrito with bacon, the smoked salmon bagel, and a double latte. The breakfast burrito was microwaved gas station quality. Served with jarred salsa. It was so bad. Really disgusting. The bagel, for $12, had barely any toppings. Look how stingy that is. $12 for $2 of food, nice markup for barely any work. The latte tasted of milk. No discernible coffee flavor. Overall, well, the roses in the little courtyard outside are nice. But I would never come back for food or drinks.

I grabbed a vanilla iced coffee while on my break and it was amazing! Super cute and peaceful environment with kind employees. Will come here again!

I highly recommend going to the Heartbeat Café - been there several times their coffee is excellent and Service is superb. The pastries pastries are awesome. So far I have tried the lemon bars, scones, we did henemans bread, and crepes. I usually stop in on Saturdays. They have a real nice outside and inside seating area which is great for groups of people too.

Super cute mom and pop cafe with character! The food was surprisingly tasty. We got the breakfast burrito and the Turkey avocado pesto crepe that comes with house marinara sauce which is really yummy. The breakfast burrito was also really solid. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Quite a bit of tables outside for you to dine and enjoy a nice day out. If you come on Saturdays there's the Cambrian farmers market in the parking lot for some fresh produce. Plenty of parking here as the plaza is pretty big.

I met a friend here for lunch. They have outdoor seating which is appreciated in these times. It was a little chilly but the sun was out which was nice. It appears to be family owned and the lady who took our order and served us was super nice. I got the ricotta and spinach crepe and the Italian Wedding soup. The soup was good and hearty. Not a big fan of the crepe though, it was unlike anything I have had and not in a good way. Rounding the rating given that this is a small business.

Came for a coffee and enjoyed every sip of it. The owner was amicable and quick service. Lots of pastries to choose from and all around very affordable. The chai latte was absolutely delicious. The ambiance is fantastic inside and out, and the outdoor seating has shaded umbrellas! Ample parking and easy to find.

The HeartBeat Cafe is such a cute cafe! It is a hidden cafe in the Cambrian Plaza. It truly is a gem and you must try it! All of the food and drinks are super yummy! The entire cafe has a great atmosphere and has the cutest decorations. When you order, your food comes out very fast! I highly recommend!!

I went to this spot with a friend back in January. It was freezing inside! Not sure if their heater was busted, but it definitely wasn't cozy. We grabbed two coffees, a bagel with smoked salmon, and a crepe. Can't recall the exact flavor of the crepe, but it had spinach. Bagel was alright, but the crepe was seriously lacking flavor. Oh, and a little more friendliness from the servers wouldn't hurt!

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Enrique, who had such a warm and welcoming demeanor. We took a moment to look over the menu, and he quickly picked up that it was our first time. After we confirmed, he asked about our coffee preferences--strong, sweet, or somewhere in the middle--and walked us through the seasonal menu with some great suggestions. My wife ordered the iced lavender vanilla, and I went with the iced café carmelita. He also asked if we wanted food, so we tried the lemon blueberry loaf and a turkey avocado sandwich. Everything did not disappoint. The drinks were amazing--Enrique absolutely nailed the recommendations--and the turkey avocado sandwich was especially memorable. While our drinks were being made, we had some friendly small talk with the staff, which added to the experience. The overall vibe was great. The team was super friendly and attentive--when a line started forming, other staff jumped in right away to make sure no one was left waiting. I'm really glad we stopped in and gave this place a shot. We'll definitely be back!

It was flaky, chewy, not too sweet, almonds were burnt. Even after 4 hours, it was perfect. 5/5 stars - $6 - Americano: yea I know, boring but it was good! Acidic but not too much. Would've loved to taste the bean more 4/5 stars - $4.50? Definitely a good work/study cafe on a random weekday

The coffee is always delicious, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes it a perfect place to relax or catch up with friends. Lele Cakes has consistently poor customer service, and every visit has been disappointing…read more My friend and I were speaking Russian to each other, yet the moment the staff heard us, their attitude noticeably changed. Ironically, the employees speak Russian among themselves. We always order in English, but the service immediately became cold and unfriendly. The café is dirty, the tables are greasy, the seat cushions are stained, and I had to wipe my own table while the staff stood around watching. When I asked why the tables weren't being cleaned, I was given a sour look, as if it were my responsibility. The cakes taste old and stale. I genuinely don't understand why the owner allows her staff to treat customers this way simply because of the language they speak. Personal opinions or biases have no place in customer service.

I'm not a huge boba/milk tea fan so I guess take this as a review from someone with pretty…read moresuperficial knowledge. I tried two drinks, a Vietnamese iced coffee made less sweet and a 3/4 sweet peach... peach something. I forget the name, but the menu is small it's the peach one. Both were fantastic. Definitely on the sweet side but not "this is melted ice cream" sweet like I've had at some places. I'd still probably get the peach one 50% next time. The Vietnamese iced coffee was very intensely flavored, had a great texture, and for whatever reason wasn't as hyper-caffeinated as some I'd had. I've had some Vietnamese coffees that made me feel like I was going to bounce off the walls, this was more mellow. But it still has the strong coffee flavor I'm used to. The peach drink was super refreshing, full of peach flavor, but again the level of sugar wasn't cloying at all. And the little chunks of peach added a nice texture to the experience. Again, not an expert on milk tea/boba, but this was probably some of the best I've had, definitely the best I can remember. Inside the shop is a bit spartan but there's seating for a few groups. You order via a kiosk and then someone brings the drinks out to the counter, so it's a bit impersonal. They take credit cards and the parking lot is a little tight.

We ordered: - Brûlée Green Milk Tea: 4/5 - Be sure to mix it well, as the brûlée layer sticks thickly to the sides of the cup. It had a nice balance of tea flavor and rich brûlée sweetness. - White Peach Oolong Milk Tea w/ Crystal Boba 4/5 - My drink was initially served without the crystal boba, but the staff quickly provided it on the side in a separate cup. The peach and oolong flavors paired well and tasted refreshing. I'd definitely come back to try some of their other drinks!
