You can't go wrong with Philz, I'm a simple mint mojito girl or mocha tesora. I'll occasionally get their seasonal drinks and those are delicious as well. Service is always great, with friendly workers and quick service. I recommend ordering ahead if you know what you want, otherwise you can order at the register and they can help make a recommendation. This location is a good size, so perfect for studying or a coffee date.

Love me some Philz Coffee whenever I'm in cali! The iced mint mojito latte never disappoints. I don't wanna know how much sugar goes into it, because I just wanna enjoy my drank! The service is fine, what you'd expect at a busy coffee shop. The wait wasn't too terrible. And ordering from the app makes it super easy to go in and out real quick.

We ordered online to pickup at this location and it was fast and it was cool to see on the app who was making your drink. We got the limited time tiramisu drink which had coldbrew with tiramisu topping and it was perfectly sweet. We got a large and small size and the small size was perfect for me!

My fav mix of the 2 creations in 1. Don't knock it until you try it!

So excited to have a Philz location in the South Bay. It was overdue! My go to for delicious coffee, you can't go wrong with the mint mojito and with the rosé on top, that's the cherry on top! I really enjoyed both drinks but when you can't decide I just combine the two and Wha-Lah!, the birth of a new fav coffee is born! I'm so glad that the barista is so kind and they won't stop until they perfected your fav coffee. You really can't go wrong with any drinks there and Philz is pretty strong coffee! It's like neck to neck with Viet coffee but subtle in bitterness and smoothness.

Look who is in our neighborhood now :) so excited to see Philz here!! Lots of parking in this noah bagels, yogurtland square opposite sprouts/ home goods. Nice and airy big premises with lots of seating and servers. Easy self service coffee shop smelling of coffee grounds and cinnamon rolls.. In $6.75, i got: - iced mint mojito - 5/5 - medium - my go-to drink here. Yummy taste when paired with honey and medium sweetness!! Deducting 1 star for making 1 medium drink so expensive :( i dont think now i can stop by daily for this. Also, i wish they kept some savory wraps/ sandwiches to offer a more wholesome experience

When we heard there was going to be a Philz near our house, I was quite pleased! Finally, I would be able to order there enough to find my jam. I've had the mint mojito drink and other ginger snap, and neither of them were my 'go to'. I finally discovered my everyday coffee in the iced Tesoro with a small amount of cream, no sugar! It's delicious and it keeps me awake for the whole day with one large cup. I've always had my coffee to go, but this location has great spots to post up with a computer and study/work. Lots of young folk occupying the seats. It's a relaxed, and clean location. I love the feature of ordering ahead and picking up, Philz has this great option to delay the pick up time or make it 'ASAP'! Ok busy mornings, 7:45-9am, it's not a good idea to expect your stop to be 5 minutes. I would recommend ordering ahead of time. One time I waited 17 minutes for my order due to the few baristas and the influx in customers. Plan ahead for good coffee!!

Still a pretty big fan of Philz, even if they are now considered mainstream. It's great that they've opened another SJ location that's not DTSJ or DTSJ-adjacent. This is a pretty nice location that'll serve a huge community. I'm not a big fan of the plaza however, as the parking situation and overall design is very hectic, and fills up quite easily. It's newer looking and can be nice at times, but because of how quick it fills up and also lots of solicitors loitering around make the experience pretty unpleasant.

This review is long overdue. I've given this location chance after chance because I used to mobile order here frequently in the mornings, but the quality has been consistently disappointing compared to other Philz locations. The coffee is almost always bland, watery, and bitter. When my drink is made correctly at other locations, it's rich, creamy, and has a nice frothy texture. This drink looked and tasted completely different, watery, lacking creaminess, and with barely any milk. The photo speaks for itself. My most recent order was the final straw. We ordered six drinks, and every single one tasted watered down and poorly made. To make matters worse, none of the drinks were labeled. We had six different drinks and were left standing there trying to figure out which drink belonged to whom. How do you send out an order of six drinks without labeling a single one? What's even more frustrating is that I've heard the same complaints from multiple friends and have seen similar reviews from other customers. It seems like incorrect orders and inconsistent drink quality are common issues at this location. Unfortunately, this location consistently falls below the standard set by other Philz stores. Management seriously needs to address the quality control and training issues here. I won't be returning to this location.

I LOVE that there's a Philz in this location now! It's super convenient and allows for more coffee options in this area. Yay!! While I generally love the coffee at Philz, this particular location has not been my favorite in terms of consistency in modification requests compared to other stores': I ordered a Sweet Harmony here on 6/9/25 for a pick up order with medium sugar, but the sugar was way too sweet (and not mellow like how I had it at another store - ordered the exact same way) it tasted like sweet sugar. I didn't like it and didn't finish my drink. Today, 6/20/25, I had my husband pick up an order. While I don't put the blame entirely on the barista (or whoever was sticking on the sticker for the cups), my husband should have checked the drinks rather than just the name itself. I ordered a large and received a medium. I'm not sure why the barista didn't double check (the size) upon making the drink to order so I'm a bit confused about that. Of course, because of the convenient location, I will be back. But after 2 "mess ups" each different time, I can't expect my drink order to be made correctly on the first try.

I was excited to hear Philz is expanding and they opened up a new location! This location is located in Brokaw Commons. The traffic in the lot can get crazy sometimes, especially since there's a Citi Sports right next to it. The interior was so spacious compared to DTSJ. It was bright and aesthetically pleasing. I enjoy the pour overs they have to offer and the different ways they make their coffee. My go to is of course the mint mojito, sweet and creamy. This location is all VIRTUAL payments! No cash at all. The staff was friendly and welcoming to the location. The drop off area can get hectic depending how busy they are. The easiest way to order would be ordering online for pick up. This is my usual go to way on ordering Philz to expedite my caffeine itch.

Quick service, clean, and plenty of parking and seating. I usually go to the DTSJ location but this one is good too. My go-to is the philtered soul cold brew. Not too loud on the inside. Nice place to study or work.

Excellent place to grab a coffee and study. The place is spacious with a lot of utilities like WiFi and charging places. Baristas are lively and are able to make adjustments to the drink you ordered. I like the Honey Haze, but the Mocha Tesora is great too!

With some coffees a second cup will give me a stomach ache (especially since I drink my cold brews black and bitter like my soul), but I had no problems with their cold brews! I also got the vegan stonefruit scone (baked by Sweet Dragon) and while a little on the dry side (common with scones), paired extremely well with the coffee and had good flavor. Husband got a cappuccino and a strawberry mini pie and was extremely pleased with his order. The service is friendly, but some things may have been new on the day we went. They almost forgot my cold brew until we asked at the counter, as well as stating that they didn't have anything to heat up my husband's strawberry pie (which seems odd, since a little toaster oven seems like a simple fix for that), but apparently it was fantastic at room temperature anyway. Seating was absolutely full when we got there and we were lucky to snag a table as another couple left, so it seems like a popular Saturday morning spot. Several folks were working on laptops, and it seems like a kid-friendly place. The decor is a clean and modern/trendy industrial style, which works well for the space, and the windows provide nice daylight. Overall, a good coffee shop and I am really happy to see vegan pastry options! My husband is getting into pinball, which was part of the motivation to come out and try Chromatic, so I am sure we'll be back again next time he wants to hit up Slingshot (in the same building), and I look forward to the coffee and treats!

The seating area is quite limited for the large crowd it attracts, making the atmosphere inside feel a bit chaotic at peak times. Fortunately, the baristas are super polite and work fast, keeping the long lines moving efficiently. The coffee menu and the retail bean selection are both impressive. I decided to try a dulce de leche coffee. While I was expecting a strong caramel profile of dulce de leche, the flavor turned out to be fairly subtle rather than prominent. It added a significant sweetness, but without knowing the order beforehand, identifying the exact flavor would have been tough. That said, the coffee itself was still refreshing The high quality of the coffee bean really shone through, delivering a rich aroma and the ideal caffeine kick for a breezy morning. Great coffee beans and fast service make it worth dropping in, even if the indoor seating situation is a bit tight.

Service was efficient and super friendly, even when the lines were busy (it's a con, what do you expect) and even though the food was prepared elsewhere and taken there, it was pretty good and helped tide me over during the long convention. For my order (over a span of 2 days), I got the: 1) Hojicha Milk Tea (Red Blooded Nephew): -I got this iced. -Not bad, not too sweet and not watered down either. Great pick me up. Nice smoky and roasted flavor to it. Pretty good. 2) Fire Nation's Butter Mochi: -Certain days they would run out of one flavor, other days they would swap it up from what I believe. -I got a black sesame and kinako banana. -I think I got a third one, but a friend ate that. It was more of a savory flavor, but unfortunately forgot what it was. -My favorite was the kinako banana since it was a neat twist on what a banana bread would be like in a different form. -Very filling, decently large piece of butter (shaped like a rectangle of butter) mochi and easily shareable too. -You have to eat it the day of since it does get dry and hard if you try saving it for the next day, sadly. 3) Spam Musubi (Sizzle Crisp Rice Snack): -Decent spam musubi. -Rice had the perfect texture, it didn't fall apart and despite it being, I'm sure prepared before hitting the con floor, it wasn't soggy in the slightest. Not bad. Hopefully one day I can stop by their actual location!
