Recently, I came for the matcha drink they have here! Delicious and refreshing per usual. I haven't tried a drink on the menu that I don't like yet. The location is always super fast and easy. Go in, order, and I've come at times that it's never super busy. Definitely one of my favorite places to go!

This might be my favorite coffee in San Jose, and not just my favorite Vietnamese coffee. Favorite coffee overall. I usually get the House Coffee Iced at easy sweet level, and it's exactly what I want. Good sweetness level, strong coffee, and not too much ice like some more traditional coffee places. I know that may not be the most authentic, but I honestly prefer it this way. There's a lot of seating inside, though I usually get mine to go. Service has always been quick and the staff are friendly too. I've been back several times already and will definitely keep coming back.

I appreciate that this place is open pretty late. They're also very nice about letting me and my party hang out for a bit more while they get ready to close. Did I tell you how amazing the drinks are?

7 Leaves Cafe is my favorite boba cafe service has been top notch prices are far more reasonable than its competitors. A cool place to dine-in with friends and families. Bro and I came by on a Sunday morning were greeted with a friendly staff I got the House Iced Coffee a popular Viernamese style blended roasted coffee sweetned condensed milk a foamy layer cream topping for $5.75 regular size Bro got the Green Thai tea with oat milk easy sweet regular ice with added shot for $5.75 has a deep floral flavor very refreshing. Definitely my go been coming here for over six years. Ample parking best to come early in the day than later when its packed! This is one place you can pay by debit/credit or cash which ever is more convenient.

I always love coming here to study! Plentiful seating, outlets, and a printer available that I never tried before. Drink are premade, so sugar cannot be adjusted. I tried the secret menu item (mix of strawb hibiscus + sunset passion). I'd recommend sticking to just the strawb hibiscus. When I'm not in a fruity mood, the Thai teas are always TOP TIER! I believe u can ask to sample bits before ordering if u ask. Drinks are ready almost immediately! Great, fast service. Overall, I always come back. Drinks are consistent. Service is fair. Cool and pleasant study space :)

7 Leaves is a well-known chain from Southern California. I first tried their drinks when I was down there. So far, their drinks are made consistently. I got their Mung Bean Milk Tea with 100% sweetness. It tasted creamy and had a grainy texture. There was also a pandan flavor on top of the strong mung bean flavor. It was pretty sweet so I would recommend waiting for the ice to melt. Prices are very reasonable. For a large, it costs an extra 85 cents. The inside was big with lots of seating and had a wooden aesthetic. The cashier was knowledgeable about the drinks and answered all of my questions.

7 leaves is my favorite place to get a green thai tea. I appreciate how strong the flavors are here, which is why I also really like their milk teas and coffee drinks. Don't sleep on their fruit teas though. The sunset passion drink is also really good. I usually categorize a boba place as a milk teas of fruit tea spot. 7 leaves is solid on both. I usually order on the app and it's ready by the time I get there. When I have ordered in store, they're pretty quick. I've come here to study/work before and there's plenty of people coming here to study. I appreciate that a good number of tables have access to outlets. Not too noisy to study.

7 Leaves definitely takes the win for having the most efficient ordering system, along with an impressive variety of coffee and tea drinks--all top-notch in quality. My favorites: - Assam Milk Tea; extremely solid milk tea - Thai Milk Tea; the vanilla bean note really stands out, giving it an extra creamy finish - Green Milk Tea; the best matcha Jasmine out there imo - Black and Tan (house coffee + Jasmine milk tea blend) - Spanish Latte; think of a less intense version of Viet coffee Their drinks do err on the sweeter side, so I always get mine less sweet. You can easily order through their mobile app, earn rewards points, and even receive a free drink on your birthday.

Drinks: 4/5 Their drinks are fairly solid. It's my go to for Green Thai Tea or any drink with boba. Their honey boba is chewy and sweet, so if you decide to add it, put 50% sweetness for your drinks or under; otherwise, it will be too sweet. I also like that they use crushed ice which adds some texture when you drink it. Lastly, I like their rewards program which also enables you to get a free drink on your bday. Service:4/5 I usually order drinks through the app and just go there to pick it up. However, the times I order in person, they are friendly and the drinks come out decently quick. Ambiance:5/5 Lots of outlets and tables which makes it a great place to study.

My coworker brought me a mung bean milk tea from this place. I didn't even know this was a thing, so I was a little skeptical to try it. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste! To me, it tasted similar to taro, with a little bit of red bean. At first the texture threw me off because of the graininess, but it grew on me as I kept drinking. If I get the chance to visit 7 Leaves in person, I'll most likely try this again

    House Coffee

I've been coming to Seven Leaves ever since it opened, and I would highly recommend the House Coffee--it's by far the best drink on the menu. If you like coffee that's both bitter and sweet, it really hits different. That said, Seven Leaves feels like a bit of a one-hit wonder. I've tried other drinks like the Thai Tea and the Mung Bean, and honestly, they're not good. The Thai Tea tastes cheap--too sweet, but lacking in tea flavor--so I only come here for the House Coffee. I do want to try the Vietnamese Coffee, but from what I understand, it's basically the same as the House Coffee just without the whipped cream. On the plus side, they have a great rewards program through their app, which I definitely recommend if you come here often. The service, however, can be hit or miss. For example, my girlfriend once asked what was inside the Seven Leaves Tea, and the employee told her it was "classified information." It would've been better to just admit they didn't know. On top of that, the tea itself wasn't good. The ambience is nice--plenty of seating if you want to study or get some work done--but parking is somewhat limited. Overall House Coffee: 10/10, Other Drinks 3/10

Tried their Strawberry Hibiscus Tea with less sugar. It was refreshing for a weekend drink and it tasted like fresh strawberry! My order was part of a mass order that was placed beforehand, and staff was very welcoming and accommodating when we picked up our order. In general, I'm also a fan of their Oolong Milk Tea and Sea Salt Jasmine, which I have only seen and tried at 7 Leaves so far!

Ask the Community - 7 Leaves Cafe

I love studying at 7 Leaves but must use my hotspot because I cannot use their wifi to connect to education websites, such as Canvas, my school's website, etc. The other websites are still ok. Do they prevent connection to education sites?

Not sure; observed many students/career people on laptops.

Do you accept cash? Or is it only credit card

Hi, We accept all forms of payments. Cash/Card/ApplePay/Googlepay/etc

Are masks required at all times? Would love to enjoy a drink and get some work done here if I don't have to breath in discomfort through a mask the entire time

As of today, Yes. However, many other counters are lifting mask requirements except Santa Clara county at this time.

Are you allowing for people to sit inside to study?

    Yes

What happened to their Summer Mint? It's not on their online ordering system and it's always out in person too.. Disappointed

Hello FoxyG, We are sorry that summer mint has not been available for awhile now. Due to supply…

Does taro milk tea and mung bean milk tea contain dairy? If so can they be made dairy free/substitute?

They do contain dairy and through the app you cannot make a substitution. Unknown if you can do that in person.

Can you redeem your leaves for in-store orders or is it strictly for purchases made through the app only?

I tried to redeem my leaves in-store and the cashier said I couldn't and can only be redeemed on the app.

Do they have hot boba tea?

They have hot drinks but not with boba.

What kind of pastries are here?

They usually have macarons and waffles. You may want to check though since every 7 leaves cafe have different offerings.

Question for thé owners- why can't we have Assam without the milk or less milk option?

Does this location allow two sweetness adjustments ("easy sweet" 75% and "easy easy sweet" 50%)?

NOT. AT. ALL. They refuse to go beyond "Easy Sweet".

Is the House Coffee or Vietnamese coffee better?

Vietnamese coffee if you want something strong. House coffee if you want something lighter.

Is it possible to order secret menu items (eg Love Cream, Black and Tan) through the app?

No, you can't. In their FAQ on the app, it mentions you cannot order secret menu items on there.

Does the order ahead option close after 9 pm? I tried to order a drink after 9 pm and the only option was for the next day, even though 7 Leaves closes at 10 pm

Our app ordering opens one hour after we open and closes one hour before closing.

How do you put in the panda special drink online order?

Unfortunately we do not have a Panda drink on our menu.

Why are they "closed" on DoorDash when the physical store isn't?

We are currently closed on DoorDash and Grubhub in order to update the menu to accommodate the new 7Leaves app that will be launching soon.

Anyone know if they have online gift cards?

Unfortunately we do not have online gift cards at the moment.

Do you still offer half gallon sizes?

Hi Kim, We are still serving half gallons. Please call the store before coming to confirm we have…

    Does this location have pastries?

    Yes!

How much is half a gallon?

It ranges from $17-$24 depending on what you get.

Unfortunately, this time it was completely different. The flan actually looked like Gruyère cheese, with little holes throughout it. The texture was very spongy and airy instead of silky and smooth, and the taste was definitely not as good as the first time. I probably should have passed on it because it didn't look right, but I was craving flan and hoped it would still taste as good as the one I had before. Khanh's Restaurant in Campbell used to have, in my opinion, the best flan in all of Santa Clara County, but sadly they no longer offer it. That's why I was so happy when I first tried the flan here and thought I had finally found a good replacement. I really think the owner should check the quality of the food before they put the product out to sell. The appearance and texture of this batch were noticeably off and should have been caught beforehand. I hope this was just a bad batch, because the first flan I bought here was genuinely very good. One thing I learned from this experience: I will never buy a flan that looks like Gruyère cheese again.

I've been coming to La Patisserie in Cupertino for years, usually when I'm already in the area…read moreshopping. There are a lot more fancy dessert shops around the Bay Area these days, but somehow I still come back for their Guava Cake. It's actually a strange craving. I don't think about this cake every week. Sometimes I completely forget about it for months, then one day something goes wrong in my brain and suddenly I NEED a guava cake. I've had this cake many times over the years and that's probably what impresses me most - it really hasn't changed much. Same fluffy cake, same very fragrant guava flavor, same bright old-school appearance. Maybe the angle of the whipped cream piping has changed a few degrees over the years, but I'll allow that process deviation. The guava flavor is the main reason I keep buying it. To me, it tastes surprisingly natural and close to real fruit. I've had plenty of guava desserts where you immediately get that artificial syrup/flavoring impression. I don't get that here. The guava is strong and fragrant, the cake itself is very light and fluffy, and the mousse and glossy guava topping give you that fruit flavor in almost every bite. This is definitely an old-school cake. It's not trying to be Lady M or some modern Instagram dessert. And that's fine. A good traditional cake is still a good cake. Usually I'm buying the whole cake to bring to someone's house, so I've watched a lot of first-timers try it over the years. Guava is guava - some people think it's on the sweet side, others love how fragrant it is. But somehow this is the one guava cake I've brought around that pretty much everybody ends up liking. And one comment I hear a lot is how natural the guava flavor tastes. It's around $70 for a whole cake now, which definitely isn't cheap.
