I've been coming to BobaHolics multiple times over the years, but it had been a while since my last visit. This time, I decided to try their Vietnamese coffee. Normally, Vietnamese coffee is very strong at other places I've tried, so I was hesitant to order it. I'm so glad I did because it had the perfect flavor without being overly strong. Definitely a pleasant surprise! I also ordered the chocolate mochi cookie for $4.50, which I thought was very reasonably priced. The cookie is a good size and definitely enough to share. Bro and I consider ourselves as bobaholics always on a quest for new venues as this is our go to serving boba/smoothies and snacks. Prices are far more reasonable friendly staff spacious interior late night for after hour drinks. Upon entry there's two self-service kiosk. I order the creme brûlé with latte milk 25% sweetness regular size which is more of combination a Vietnamese egg coffee and sugar crust French creme brûlé a refreshing drink. Bro got the taro ube milk a very popular Filipino drink with a touch of ube flavor. The service is usually really good, especially tonight. The guy at the cash register was patient when my little sister wanted to say her order all on her own. It's always nice to see familiar faces since we come here quite often. The prices are standard and if you get the larger sizes, I think it's worth it. First impression, this boba store interior is really pretty, I love the design so much, very upscale and elegant vibes. They offers variety of boba drinks and finger food on their menu, their pricing is at average in San Jose area. We placed our order through the kiosk and didn't have much interaction with the staffs so no comment on the service, drinks came out after 7-10 mins of ordering. For the taste, my Avocado Smoothie was bland the first time I got it to-go, I learned my lesson and increased the sweetness level by 25% more on my last in store visit but it still bland... Came here a couple of times after the gym. I've been to the Brokaw Ave location before, so this location has a similar vibe but with different furniture. Another difference is that the kiosk is more prominent. This store's located in a busy plaza with a popular gym, two grocery stores and a really popular banh mi place, so while there's plenty of parking, it's sometimes hard to find a spot. The drinks are comparable to the Brokaw Ave location. I haven't tried their hot food, but the cookies were good and it's a nice size for the price. What makes this place unique is the Viet coffee drinks. You can add an extra shot to really give your drink a kick. Great quality . However, I docked it one star because manager not really looking out for the employees and some skimping behaviors on the menu. Egg coffee 5/5 Sounds weird but it's actually pretty good. There's no real egg taste but it's very creamy topping and it works well with a strong coffee base. Salt coffee 5/5 Salt coffee is a creamy white top layer slightly salty as an interesting contrast to the sweet coffee. I normally add an extra shot and go for 75% sweetness. Interior 5/5 - Well designed , modern bright and comforting. Plenty of tables combined with individual chairs and bench seating. Labubus make it fun. Soundtrack 4/5: Energetic dance music pumping in the background.Good vibes. The bad 1/5 1. Tip goes to manager . You will get asked for a tip at the end of the kiosk order and I found out later from an employee that the tip goes directly to the manager and they don't receive it. Not cool. My favorite place to study and work in the vicinity. Gorgeous seating, calming music and fast Wi-Fi makes working here extremely pleasant! The workers are also kind and accommodating. Their drinks lean a bit on the sweeter side, which generally works for their egg coffee. I recommend the popcorn chicken here with their house sauce. Overall, it's very aesthetic and cozy to work in. Their jasmine milk tea is always my top choice because it has a strong tea flavor and comes in a large size. The popcorn chicken is also a favorite of mine. However, the pricing is getting quite expensive, a large drink with a double topping easily comes out to over $10. They even charge extra for no ice, which is rare for boba shops, and the standard topping portions are much smaller than at other places, forcing me to always pay for double toppings. Additionally, their morning timing is inconvenient. Even though they open at 10:00 AM, the boba pearls weren't ready when I stopped by at 10:45 AM; it seems you have to wait until noon just to get boba. Lastly, when buying multiple items, they don't provide a bag or a cup holder, making it very difficult to carry. Came here to meet a friend in this area and we thought it'd be good to stop by for a drink. There atmosphere had a relatively classy vibe, with white tiles and a decent amount of seating, and it was unusually crowded. My friend said it normally wasn't like that so I'm unsure if there was some kind of special event, but we had to wait a little to even be able to use the kiosk despite there being two alongside the regular barista. I decided to get the Strawberry Dream Latte, which was around seven dollars. The drink was sweet, refreshing and creamy, which was good. Also No Ice was an extra charge (though I got less ice so this didn't really impact me) but milk alternatives had no extra cost. This is probably one of the few places that I've been to that allows milk alternatives to be free, so this is a nice bonus. You can't find many places that offer Hokkaido milk tea these days and I don't know why! Such an underrated flavor. Hokkaido milk tea - 5 stars. That's all I come here for! They have a huge variety of drinks and snacks and there's something for everyone. This spot shares a parking lot with the gym, so it can def be a little hectic. I came here to say to get a few drinks with my friends, after one of my other friends recommended the place to me! I ordered the Banana Cream Matcha and my friend ordered the Crème Brûlée Thai Tea. In my opinion, the Matcha was pretty watered down, and was really liquify, however the Banana Cream itself was really good. I got 75% sweetness which I thought was perfect, but then again the watery texture threw me off a little. I also tried my friends Thai Tea, and in my opinion it was really good. I recommend to get 75% sweetness or less though, since it's REALLY sweet. The service was really good, we ordered 3 drinks and it came out within a few minutes of ordering. Cute place with nice decor, no AC though despite it being quite hot today. Nonetheless they have a menu with nice variety and some unique drinks such as the Banana Split Milk Tea which is what I got. I've been wanting to try this place out since they opened their first location on Brokaw Road in San Jose many years ago. When they opened this location off of McKee Road, I realized how close it was to my beloved 111 Bakery which is also in the same plaza as Bobaholics. The outside looks a bit rough with a banner for their store logo but I quickly learned judging a book by its cover can backfire. In this case, it sure did. Inside, the layout is inviting with ample seating along with a spacious area for self-ordering and for picking up drinks. It is aesthetically pleasing inside with modern fixtures and has social media friendly photo op areas too. I had heard the Creme Brulee Lattee with boba was the "it" drink here so I wanted to find out if that was true or if it was all hype. I ordered a large drink with extra sugar and added boba pearls with light ice. It came out rather quickly and when I drank it, I immediately thought of a brown sugar milk tea. It had fresh milk, chewy boba pearls, and it felt like some clusters of sugar to emulate the creme brulee. I've seen this place on tiktok and was meaning to go and I happened to be in this complex! I have medium high standards for boba and I don't think a lot of milk teas wow me anymore but the taro here was SO GOOD. Went with a big group of friends we got: taro latte 5/5 - very sweet and has that thick taro texture, usually not a fan but very good . Listen, stay as far away from this boba place as possible. After I drank their drink, the next day I thought I was going to die. I'm not allergic to anything, so I know it wasn't some random reaction this was straight up food poisoning. My stomach was in complete agony, constant throwing up, and nonstop diarrhea. Did it satisfy my boba craving? Absolutely!  I went here during their weekend special of buy one get one free boba! It was simple to order on the kiosk and pick up at the counter. The service was good, straightforward and friendly. They increased the indoor seating area with light-tone modern and simple interior. I thought it was cute and I liked how well ventilated it was. I had some time to kill and felt like having a milk tea so I went to my handy dandy Yelp app and found Bobaholics nearby. I've been watching my calories so I asked for something not very sweet and the clerk recommended a Jasmine milk tea. I got it with 50% sweetness and 50% ice and it was perfect! The jasmine flavor was delicate and not too strong but with plenty of flavor. It was after a recent rain so the sun was partially out and there were even rainbows! It was a perfect moment to enjoy my drink and get some fresh air. If I'm in the area again I will try something different as there are many things on the menu. Props to the clerk.
