Came here a couple of times after the gym. I've been to the Brokaw Ave location before, so this location has a similar vibe but with different furniture. Another difference is that the kiosk is more prominent. This store's located in a busy plaza with a popular gym, two grocery stores and a really popular banh mi place, so while there's plenty of parking, it's sometimes hard to find a spot. The drinks are comparable to the Brokaw Ave location. I haven't tried their hot food, but the cookies were good and it's a nice size for the price. I like the seating better here for sitting down and catching up with friends. Service is pretty fast and the staff are friendly. Would recommend to others for a chill place to hang out! read more

First impression, this boba store interior is really pretty, I love the design so much, very upscale and elegant vibes. They offers variety of boba drinks and finger food on their menu, their pricing is at average in San Jose area. As soon as you enter the store, you will see the cashier station with a mini cabinet display some of their baked goods and two kiosk for self service on the side. We placed our order through the kiosk and didn't have much interaction with the staffs so no comment on the service, drinks came out after 7-10 mins of ordering. For the taste, my Avocado Smoothie was bland the first time I got it to-go, I learned my lesson and increased the sweetness level by 25% more on my last in store visit but it still bland... My friend got their Strawberry Tea and she really like it, I tried some of her and the fragrant of the strawberry really impressed me, sweetness was balance as well, tasted very refreshing. However, I docked it one star because manager not really looking out for the employees and some skimping behaviors on the menu. Egg coffee 5/5 Sounds weird but it's actually pretty good. There's no real egg taste but it's very creamy topping and it works well with a strong coffee base. Salt coffee 5/5 Salt coffee is a creamy white top layer slightly salty as an interesting contrast to the sweet coffee. I normally add an extra shot and go for 75% sweetness. Their jasmine milk tea is always my top choice because it has a strong tea flavor and comes in a large size. The popcorn chicken is also a favorite of mine. However, the pricing is getting quite expensive, a large drink with a double topping easily comes out to over $10. They even charge extra for no ice, which is rare for boba shops, and the standard topping portions are much smaller than at other places, forcing me to always pay for double toppings. Additionally, their morning timing is inconvenient. Even though they open at 10:00 AM, the boba pearls weren't ready when I stopped by at 10:45 AM; it seems you have to wait until noon just to get boba. Lastly, when buying multiple items, they don't provide a bag or a cup holder, making it very difficult to carry. Came here to meet a friend in this area and we thought it'd be good to stop by for a drink. There atmosphere had a relatively classy vibe, with white tiles and a decent amount of seating, and it was unusually crowded. My friend said it normally wasn't like that so I'm unsure if there was some kind of special event, but we had to wait a little to even be able to use the kiosk despite there being two alongside the regular barista. I decided to get the Strawberry Dream Latte, which was around seven dollars. The drink was sweet, refreshing and creamy, which was good. Also No Ice was an extra charge (though I got less ice so this didn't really impact me) but milk alternatives had no extra cost. This is probably one of the few places that I've been to that allows milk alternatives to be free, so this is a nice bonus. Listen, stay as far away from this boba place as possible. After I drank their drink, the next day I thought I was going to die. I'm not allergic to anything, so I know it wasn't some random reaction this was straight up food poisoning. My stomach was in complete agony, constant throwing up, and nonstop diarrhea. But it wasn't just that my head was pounding like crazy, I couldn't stop sweating, I felt burning hot, and at the same time, I had to throw up and go to the bathroom all at once. In my opinion, the Matcha was pretty watered down, and was really liquify, however the Banana Cream itself was really good. I got 75% sweetness which I thought was perfect, but then again the watery texture threw me off a little. I also tried my friends Thai Tea, and in my opinion it was really good. I have medium high standards for boba and I don't think a lot of milk teas wow me anymore but the taro here was SO GOOD. I've been wanting to try this place out since they opened their first location on Brokaw Road in San Jose many years ago. When they opened this location off of McKee Road, I realized how close it was to my beloved 111 Bakery which is also in the same plaza as Bobaholics. The outside looks a bit rough with a banner for their store logo but I quickly learned judging a book by its cover can backfire. In this case, it sure did. Inside, the layout is inviting with ample seating along with a spacious area for self-ordering and for picking up drinks. It is aesthetically pleasing inside with modern fixtures and has social media friendly photo op areas too. I had heard the Creme Brulee Lattee with boba was the "it" drink here so I wanted to find out if that was true or if it was all hype. I ordered a large drink with extra sugar and added boba pearls with light ice. It came out rather quickly and when I drank it, I immediately thought of a brown sugar milk tea. It had fresh milk, chewy boba pearls, and it felt like some clusters of sugar to emulate the creme brulee. I had some time to kill and felt like having a milk tea so I went to my handy dandy Yelp app and found Bobaholics nearby. I've been watching my calories so I asked for something not very sweet and the clerk recommended a Jasmine milk tea. I got it with 50% sweetness and 50% ice and it was perfect! The jasmine flavor was delicate and not too strong but with plenty of flavor. It was after a recent rain so the sun was partially out and there were even rainbows! I decided to check out Bobaholics after seeing a few videos of this place online. I wasn't sure whether I should get the double matcha or crème brulee latte but I ended up going with the latter since it's the best seller. The creme brulee latte is very milky and sweet. It has a thick layer of custard and brown sugar. I was disappointed because I was expecting a little coffee taste but there was none or it was overpowered by the amount of milk. Even with adjusted sweetness level, it was too sweet for me. Still good as a once in a while treat but I think I'll try a different drink next time. But I appreciated the generous amount of custard! It was creamy and one of the best crème brulee topping I've had from a boba place. They have multiple kiosks to order on and you can place your order at the cashier as well. I came in at around 10 AM but it was quite busy already. Luckily, my drink came out fast. The store is well kept and very beautifully designed. It's clean with plenty of seating and tables. Tried this place for the first time with my kids. They thought it was cool inside. Very clean inside. There's two touch screens to order from and one cashier for cash users. Plenty of space and tables to sit at; we did come at 2pm on a Tuesday. Im sure this places gets busy on the weekends. Creme brulee latte is very sweet ( i did chose 100% sweet- some other boba shops say 100% sweet but the drinks aren't sweet at all) The best part for me- they have creamer options- whole milk, oat and almond and something else.
