We visited this spot after dinner across the street. We ordered the Strawberry Matcha Dream here and it was pretty good! Would definitely order this again and try the other menu items next time.
Came here for their grand opening and this is already my second visit it's such a solid boba spot! The menu isn't overwhelmingly huge, and you get a great amount for what you pay. Plus, it's conveniently attached to a parking lot. I've gotten the strawberry matcha with boba both times and have zero complaints.
Loved this boba shop and their purple rice drinks, super fragrant tea, chewy pearls, and just the right sweetness. I usually do 50% sweet by the way. Oh they have oat popping boba. Must try!
Not sure Whats going with this place but I feel like quality has gone down hill each and every time. I have been going here twice it 3x a week and my drinks have tasted snd looks different every time. My coconut green rice used to have coconut shreds. It was sooo. Good for the first 2 weeks. Quality and ingredients have dropped dramatically. How could you possibly sell this?? Definitely needs some QC here or else this place is going to shut down real fast!!!
I hate writing review for boba places because they're all pretty decent nowadays. But Milktea way is so lowkey and got so many drinks that have flavors similar to Vietnam. It is a very small store but it is very decorated inside. The cashier named An was very respectful and helpful. The only down side is you can smell the fried food.
Milktea Way is a refreshing and unique milk tea spot in a city that is oversaturated with them. The menu has drinks and toppings that are inspired by Vietnamese culture. There are interesting toppings such as cheddar cheese and cheese balls! There are only a few flavors for milk tea, which I like because it's easier to choose what you want lol. I opted for the traditional milk tea, 75% sweet, with the cheese cream foam. The cheese cream foam was sooo delicious and creamy. It actually had a cheese-y flavor and reminded me of Cheez Whiz. The cheese foam was sweetened as well, so I'd opt for 50% sweet next time. I will also probably ask for less ice. The service was great. The cashier was very passionate about their drinks and sharing Vietnamese culture with us when we asked questions about the menu. The drinks were served pretty quickly. I definitely will be back to show my family this place and also to try the cheese ball topping!!!

The service has always been friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Parking is limited since it's a small lot, but I didn't have much trouble finding a spot. I tried the Milktea Way signature drink, which comes loaded with toppings. It was fun to try and definitely unique, but personally I'd skip the extra toppings next time to keep the drink simpler. The green rice jasmine milk tea really stood out--it's not something you see often, and I enjoyed the flavor. You can also add another topping with the drink. That said, I'd probably ask for less of the green rice coating on the cup next time, just to balance it out more to my taste. The salted coffee and egg coffee were strong and tasty. Overall, a solid place with creative drinks and good service. Worth checking out if you want something a bit different.
I got the milktea way drink! It was pretty good, next time I would probably not choose all 3 toppings BUT I appreciate the option to have all three. The service is amazing here, the barista was super nice and considerate. We did unfortunately deal with a curious non-customer coming into the store bother people, but the barista made sure everyone was okay and apologized for the incident. I would love to give her a shoutout but didn't catch her name :( She handled the situation perfectly and went above and beyond for us who did experience it I like the store ambiance, there was plenty of space to sit and to park! Just keep an eye out if you are hanging outside late alone.
This shop is located across the street from Vietnam Town. There are plenty of tables and seats, and they have several board games if you want to hang around and play. We ordered with one of the staff members, and they were very nice and helpful. I ordered the Green Rice Jasmine Milktea, which includes a choice of cream and topping. I opted for the Cheese Cream (per the staff's recommendation) and boba. I also adjusted to 25% sweetness. This drink was delicious. I was a little scared the cheese cream would taste very "cheesy" given the orange color but it was surprisingly subtle in flavor. It added a nice creaminess to the drink. The boba had the perfect balance of chewy and soft. I really liked the rice but I wish there was slightly less of it (just personal preference). My bf ordered the Salted Cream Coffee at 25% sweetness. The staff did warn him that the coffee taste would be very strong at that level of sweetness, and indeed it was. The coffee was good but 50% sweetness would probably be the better choice (note to self for next time). Overall, great boba shop and I would definitely come back!
Ordered the Green Rice Jasmine Milk Tea with Salted Cheese Foam 75% sweetness and added boba for $8.20 total after taxes. The difference between the salted foam and the salted cheese foam is that the salted foam is just cream and salt whereas the salted cheese has actual cheddar cheese in it. Regardless, the salted cheese foam just tasted like any other normal salted foam to me. It didn't have a distinct cheese flavor but the bright yellow color gave a nice contrast to the green rice in the drink which was fun and of course delicious! The green rice tasted like pounded sticky rice. It was lined on the outer edges of the cup, so be sure to use your straw to push the rice down to actually be able to get more chunks of it while you drink. I really liked the contrasting textures of the boba and the rice mixed in with the creaminess of the foam. 75% was not too sweet but I think I'll do 100% sweetness next time because the salted cheese foam was so creamy that it diluted the jasmine milk tea a little. The jasmine was fragant though. The boba here is SO GOOD! Perfectly chewy, nicely coated in honey, very addicting! The service was good, I'm definitely coming back.
Warm and welcoming cafe known for their selection of milk teas. They don't have a wide menu, but their teas are quite good. Boba could be a little chewier, but that's just my preference. Staff are very friendly, they have a clean seating area, and games for people while waiting, although you won't really be waiting long, since they make their drinks really fast.

They do have a good amount of space and seating. M E N U I looked at their menu and they do have some interesting drinks. A bit more Vietnamese influenced as the area did have more Vietnamese stores. They had a variety of coffees, milk teas, and fruit teas and a variety of toppings that cost from $1-2.25. I decided to go with a traditional milk tea, no ice, no sugar added, and grass jelly and my hubby a traditional milk tea, no ice with 25% sugar and Vietnamese pudding. As I was waiting for my drinks, I saw them packing a couple that were not full and was wondering oh maybe these aren't my drinks. NOPE. Absolutely not. I was not ready to see my drinks be 2/3 full. Trust me I tried to look happy leaving but my heart sank. I brought our drinks home and upon drinking them, they're delicious. They're definitely presweetened as it was quite sweet for me even at 0% sweetness. The drink was also very creamy. The grass jelly was ok but could've had more in there. I think if there were ice (which I did end up putting in my own), the drink would've been better in terms of balanced sweetness. S E R V I C E The person who took my order was nice and friendly and needed a bit of help from the other folks who were sitting at the tables as I think I kind of messed up the system as I was trying to enter my phone number to get the rewards system. I easily paid by card. Drinks came out in a speedy manner and packed in a to-go carrier. I didn't understand why I was given long spoons though. But I guess if you're trying to eat your toppings? Generally unnecessary unless it was ché-like dessert. O V E R A L L I've never seen this much space in a cup when there's no ice. I think they really need to put some signage or warning when ordering. If I had known it was that much, I may have just kept the ice in. With that said, it's kind of out of the way for me to come back and with the price I paid and the drink I got, I could get something comparable elsewhere. Now if it's nearby, maybe I'd come back and try their other drinks. But try them out and decide for yourself.

The green rice was interesting, it was on the side of the cup and it tasted like sweet really sticky rice. I think it paired well and the egg cream was really good! Their specialty milkteaway drink was so unique and tasty! I got it with thai green milk tea base, cheese cream and oat boba. It also comes with three additional toppings that tasted like pudding. You also get to choose one cream top and one topping of your choice with it. This was so creamy and tasted like a dessert. I would do 0% sweet as the toppings and cream make it already quite sweet. Also tried The coconut coffreeze which reminded me of a drink from dutch bros but stronger in the coffee flavor. The sunset guava tea was refreshing but could use a stronger tea flavor because it mostly tasted like syrup. The matcha cloud was very milky and doesn't taste like matcha at all. If there's one thing I'd get here it's be the milkteaway or other plain milk teas, because I wasn't super impressed by the matcha or fruit tea. The workers are very nice but they seem understaffed so you will have to wait a bit for your drinks. The place is casual and well kept. They have games available and are open late everyday, making it a fun spot to hang with friends or family. Overall: 3.8/5 read more

We came after dinner and it was empty. The cashier was very helpful with what toppings to get! Coconut Green Rice: 5/5 I really loved my drink, not too sweet personally and I thought I got regular boba but it was actually oat boba! Pleasant surprise and it was delicious. read more
We were looking for our next study spot and Milktea Way immediately caught our attention. We needed a place with wifi and late hours. It's a really cute and quaint shop. Despite its size, they made really efficient use of the space so there's a good chunk of seating area for people to hang out or study. They also have a pretty good range of drinks to choose from split into three categories: milk tea, coffee, and matcha. The service was great and they were super patient with me as I was trying to figure out what to get. I ended up getting the Milktea Way which was a fun create your own drink where you can choose the milk tea base, foam, and an extra topping on top of the set toppings already included in the drink. I really enjoyed the drink we created. It was super creamy and I loved the different textures from the toppings. I saw a couple of other interesting milk teas that I'll be back to definitely try! read more

Went to try Milktea way for the first time as today was their one year anniversary BOGO. Waited in line for about 45 minutes and an additional 20 minutes for the drinks to be made. I got the Green Rice Jasmine milk tea with the recommended settings (cheese foam, 50% sweet). Not sure if it's due to the BOGO rush but the drink was super disappointing. 50% felt like 25% elsewhere and the jasmine flavor was lacking. The green rice overpowered the whole drink and made it leave an aftertaste of Cherrios (the cereal). Paid about $17 for four drinks due to BOGO, but would not come back and pay the full price for a mid-drink. read more

Surprisingly this place is really good. I got the egg coffee, less egg cream 50% sweet. Jasmine milk tea 75% sweet w/lychee jelly. Strawberry matcha 25% and all the drinks were really good! Must try & no lines! lol Cute little place to take pics too! read more
A new boba spot just opened, and they're currently offering 25% off for their soft opening so of course, I had to take advantage of the deal. The workers here are really friendly, and drinks came out quickly. The location of the shop isn't in the nicest area, there was one man inside the store and that was cursing and talking to himself when we came in. For drinks, I tried the Green Rice Jasmine Milk Tea with the 'Milktea Way', which includes with 1 cream, all 3 of their special toppings, and one boba topping. It was very decadent. It's was good to sample and try everything but was definitely very heavy. I really enjoyed the green rice in the Jasmine Milk Tea, it was the sticky glutenous rice that provided lots of fun texture. All 3 of their special topping were good and creamy but the cheese balls stood out to me. The drink came in a big cup so this one drink alone fill me up. I got my drink at 75% sweetness but still felt like it was a tad bit too sweet. Overall, I would get the drink again minus all the special toppings. I also tried the Lychee Tea, which was just ok. Even at 75% sweetness, it still tasted very sweet to me. I would have prefer a stronger tea flavor. read more

Came to visit with my friends and partner as I heard there was a new shop that opened! There's also a 25% off your order for the soft opening as well. Which is really nice, so take advantage of that while there's a promotion! I ordered a special egg coffee, salted cream coffee and a strawberry matcha dream. I asked the worker a question about the salted cream white coffee and their regular in regard to what the difference was, he was very nice and answered my questions. The drinks came out quickly within less than 5 minutes. Hits: * Salted Cream Coffee and Special Egg Coffees are delicious. If you're looking for a strong Vietnamese coffee then this is it, I did get mine both with less sugar too. * Strawberry Matcha Cloud is good, it tastes exactly as it is described. I would recommend to lower the sweetness if you're not one who likes sugary drinks. Final Verdict: Solid 4/5. Friendly staff, a clean and spacious interior with seating, and a short wait time that made for a smooth visit. The coffee was good, but not particularly standout, especially with strong competitors like Tram Coffee just across the street. The current menu is a bit limited, and I'd love to see it expand with more unique or creative drinks that help it stand apart from the many boba and coffee shops in the area. Overall, it's a solid place with potential, and I'll be keeping an eye on how it grows. read more
Soft opening for this shop. They have a promo going on so it gets really busy! Really generous though because they made my order twice. Graciously offered to give my drink to someone else. Good place here to be honest. The cashier working Monday Night is very nice. Good smile and excellent customer service from the gentleman wearing clear glasses. He delivers drinks. Drinks: Lychee Tea trái vải with Lychee Jelly is so tasty. Good mix of Tea and Lychee. Vietnamese drinks. Drink is 4.5 but my overall experience with the interior and customer experience is a five stars. read more

Bro and I were here last August when they had a 25% promotion discount on drinks for their grand opening day. Milktea Way is one of many Vietnamese coffee cafes located along Story Road Little Saigon. We were very impressed with service and quality of their drinks so much so that we came back on a Wednesday morning and were greeted by a lone cashier it appears he was doing a one man job and were very amazed how quickly the drinks came out. First off I had the Thai green tea 50% less sweetness less ice a creamy flavor Bro choice egg cacao 50% less sweetness regular ice with fluffy egg cream condensed milk definitely has its health diet richness. Prices are far reasonable and has a cozy interior though no outdoor seating is provided. Would definitely be back their drinks are phenomenal service has been great no complaints. read more

Great drinks and service! I showed up about an hour before closing and the workers were very attentive to me and made my order was made quickly. I got the Guava Jasmine Petals drink and 3 others and the drinks were flavorful and the boba still seemed fresh even with it being so late. Would definitely come back and recommend! This spot opened up about 5 months ago. The menu is small, serving a few teas, milk tea, and coffee drinks. I was intrigued with the Jasmine green rice milk tea from the photos on Yelp. You have the option of adding additional toppings (Jerry's Cheese, Vietnamese pudding and cheese balls) but I opted out. I added diced strawberries since the boba was not ready at the time, and topped it with the cheese cream. The strawberries masked the subtle jasmine flavors and the taste of the green rice were completely absent. If I were to reorder this drink, I'd keep it simple and leave out the strawberries and the cheese cream. The salted cream coffee (cafe muoi) was better. The coffee was strong and the cream was smooth and not too salty. The owner seemed to value customer insight and genuinely looks to ways to improve. I like the transparency and I'll be back to try other drinks when then menu grows. read more

We came here during the holidays and it was decorated very cute inside! We got the egg coffee and it was great, it was on the sweeter side if you like sweet drinks. They have a regular size and a bigger size and we got the regular size! read more

Milktea Way was right next to where I had lunch (Banh Canh 3 Mien) so I decided to have a milktea as a dessert, but also because I was craving for coffee. The inside had really cute decor and plenty of seatings. I asked the cashier what was more popular between the salted cream coffee and avocado coffee, and she suggested the salted cream white coffee instead. She said it's a latte version of the salted cream coffee, meaning less strong.Since it was approaching 3pm and I love me a latte, I took her advice. The salted cream white coffee was okay. It was a little too light because of the amount of milk that's in it, so it basically taste like a coffee flavored milk tea, with a hint of salt. Newly Remodeled! Use to be Lucky Tea now Milktea Way. Lol Simple menu, great Boba drinks, clean, cozy, and lovely inside! Friendly y fast service. Right in the Pho Ga An Nam Plaza. Limited parking spaces weekend. Nice more relaxing during the weekdays. Creamy, soft, chewy boba. Definitely a great place to chill and meet with friends. I like this warm welcome vibes.
