What a delicate and adorable shop. It is situated in a strip mall and features a small bright white storefront. We came for the fruit mousse cakes, but also indulged in the strawberry passionfruit and fruity cereal macarons and a matcha cake pop. Everything was excellent and our server was absolutely the nicest human in California. The star was the banana-both in flavor and texture it had the most going on. Crunchy and creamy, it was real banana flavor and delish. I saw this dessert shop had the viral mango cakes and I had to stop by and try it! We ate it in the store and it was already starting to melt so I suggest eating it asap. It has a nice crunch when you bite into it and has a good mango mousse flavor. The mango fruit bits were a bit unripe and not that sweet. Maybe because it's not mango season. We also tried 3 flavors of their macarons (guava, mango passion fruit, and strawberry cheesecake). They were slightly too sweet for my liking but I still really enjoyed it! I went in here having high expectations of their cronut. I couldn't wait to try their popular cronut. I am not sure but the one I got was super dry and hard. Maybe it was a bad day but it felt way too big and heavy and the amount of dough was awful. There was a long line so I'm not sure how I got a bad one but I really was expecting a soft or chewy dough-like donut or croissant, but what I got was a total opposite. The shop is cute and tucked away in the corner of the plaza. Fancy flavors have always been my go-to since it's closer to me. This time I went to try their banana matcha with oat milk, biscoff latte with oat milk, red velvet cupcake and mango cupcake. The banana matcha was perfect! I liked the crumble they added on top of the drink. I finished it after 30 seconds. It's one of the best one I've tried in the bay. I used to pick up orders from Jessica's house back when she had a cottage bakery. I was so excited when she opened a storefront just across from Westgate. The location is very convenient and there is always parking. Their hours are somewhat limited and can change, so it might be good to check their yelp hours before visiting. I usually stop by to grab a coffee and a few sweets. I can get a single macaron if I want something small, and recently they started selling cupcakes which are $4 each. I find this price to be reasonable, and I appreciate how the frosting is never too sweet. I've liked the lemon lavender and earl grey cupcakes. Their drinks are great - they serve Cat and Cloud coffee and they have rotating seasonal drinks, like banana matcha latte right now! In the past, I also ordered custom macarons for a bridal shower. Goodbye spiral croissants :') Happy I was able to try before they discontinued them. I guess that foodie fad is no longer in high demand anymore. According to their IG post they'll still make them if in a large order of at least 4 dozen or on a special spiral weekend. I was able to try Ube and Classic Spiral Croissants. I thought they were really good! I'm a big ube fan but surprisingly I enjoyed the classic one better. I loved the filing paired with the flakey croissant and not being too sweet. I loved this place when they had a grand opening and still love their sweets. When we got there, they had entremets (a sophisticated, multi-layered French dessert, typically built in a mold, featuring a balanced combination of complementary flavors and contrasting textures. I preordered these for pickup and they came earlier than the set time! I was kinda sick when it was time for pickup so I did it through uber. I called them to make sure someone else can pickup the order for me and they said it's fine as long as they have the order #. I'm late on trying the viral croissants and had to get them before they stopped doing preorders entirely unless it's for catering I believe. I'm not sure if they come hot when you pick them up but when I opened them they were cold (roughly 10-12 min drive before arriving at my house). Scraped off the top before toasting and it was good. The ube was good. It's not too sweet and paired well with the croissant. I also enjoyed the biscoff, I think it was classic with biscoff cookie mixed in. The croissant itself was light and fluffy. Overall it was good but I think the novelty wore off. I was pretty underwhelmed because it's just a circle shaped croissant with filling. I couldn't find anything about Amex not being accepted when I was checking out but I think that is the case.
