Holy shit the caramel biscoff tiramisu is the most amazing dessert I've ever had. Super creamy and the coffee/caramel/biscoff combo is amazing.

It's a small place in downtown Sunnyvale next to Fashion Wok. Seating is very limited and this is more like a to-go place. First time coming and they're out of the regular tiramisu. Tried the Pistachio Tiramisu and it's good. It has the consistency of a tiramisu (no alcohol in it) with a mild taste of pistachio. It is unique, however, it's very pricey of $12 including tax. It's similar price as having a tiramisu at a full-serviced restaurant. You can also get a family-sized tiramisu at Whole Food around the same price. While I appreciate their different takes on tiramisu, they just seem a bit overpriced. May return to try their drinks.
As I'm getting older, I realize I'm less and less aware of my surroundings. We were walking down old Murphy Avenue after dinner one day and as soon as I said, the word "tiramisu'", my family members all took the sharpest turn into the shop. When I asked the shop owner, how long they've been open he started to save the number two, and I thought he was going to say weeks or months, but he finished by saying two years. Our mouths were watering, looking at the display of various flavors of tiramisu. I could not decide between the Oreo, Matcha, or Bischoff just like all of my favorite flavors. We ended up getting the Oreo one and walking over to the plaza to share the cake. It was perfect. I liked that the cake part was fluffy and not too soggy from the coffee and that there was a noticeable amount of Oreo flavor and sprinkled Oreo crumbs on the frosting. I will absolutely be coming back to try more cake flavors. They also have coffee and tiramisu inspired drinks.

Went here for dessert and got the mango tiramisu. The top layer is a mousse that's airy, not dense like a regular tiramisu. The mango cream underneath actually tastes like real mango, not sweet-fake, just fruity and light. The whole thing isn't that sweet, which is why you can finish it without feeling wrecked.

This spot has been on my list for a bit since seeing it on social media so leverage the birthday as an opportunity to try it out. I ordered the cocoa red velvet, pistachio, matcha, and mango flavor. In order of sweetness from lowest to highest I would say red velvet, matcha, pistachio and mango. I think the first two is good for folks that like 'not too sweet'. Pistachio was good in that it has a rich flavor in spite of the elevated sweetness level. I think the mango one is just a bit too much in the sweeter side to my liking. I usually don't like red velvet that much, but the one here has a tangy flavor to it that balances the sweetness so is good. For price to quality and quantity ratio, I think this spot is a great to grab something to go for special events to share or single cake to enjoy on your own.
This review is long overdue from Sunnyvale restaurant week. This storefront has undergone several ownership changes in the past few years. Here's wishing Alma Dessert success! They definitely fill a gap in the market with their unique take on tiramisu. They offer so many different varieties apart from your standard tiramisu. I was excited about trying a fruity tiramisu so opted for the mixed berry. We also got the assam black tea latte. The tiramisu was a good portion, berries were the perfect balance of sweet and tart and perfectly complemented the creaminess of the tiramisu. The black tea latte was a good sweetness and tea flavor. I would come back. There is limited seating, so we did wind up taking our food to eat at home.
Tried this place unexpectedly and the Classic Tiramisu is too good. The sweetness is not too bad, perfect blend of coffee and flavors. The sweetness level is low but love it. Must try place. Easy to order through Kios and the taste feels fresh. The service is very fast too.

Grabbed a quick classic tiramisu as it is always my favourite. It was good, however it lacked the sweetness a bit. I was hoping for it to be a tad more sweet. Service was super quick - they had it ready, and I just had to pay and grab. The size was good enough, 3 of us shared. It's more like a small grab-and-go spot, not a spot where you could sit and eat. However, they had a bench inside to have something quick. Coming back again to try other things on the menu!

I purchased a Mango Green Tea with crystal boba. At 0% sweet it was still pretty sweet, so I'm glad I got 0 sugar. The tea flavor was bold, and the crystal boba topping was generous. I was surprised to see a scripture reference on the seal. As for the tiramisu, I tried the classic as well as the mango tiramisu. I wished the mango had two layers of ladyfingers (the spongy part) like the classic did; instead, the whipped cream was 2/3 of the layers instead of 2/3 being ladyfingers. The classic was great though, no complaints. I'm curious to try other flavors next. Service was quick as there was no line. There is one small table outside for seating. read more

I've passed by Alma dessert a couple of times and always wanted to grab a little treat. I went in and quickly ordered the Classic Tiramisu and the Matcha Tiramisu and I would most definitely come back again to try the others. They both weren't too sweet and were so decadent, it's a great little snack to get whenever you need a pick me up. The portion sizes were perfect too! Would recommend! read more
My friend and I wanted dessert after having dinner. We decided to try this place and it did NOT disappoint. The Ube Tiramisu is to die for, so good, and not too sweet! It was so delicious! It is more on the pricy side for a luxury dessert and freshly made in house. A must try if you never had it before. I am a huge Ube fan. I can't wait to come back and get the exact item again. If you are in a need for a bubble tea fix or a dessert after a post dinner, you need to come here! It is nestled in the heart of downtown Sunnyvale. It is a small little place, room only to order and get your drink and go. There's a kiosk that makes it easy for you to order with pictures of the drink that is also nice. Highly recommend the "tea-ramisu" which is a tiramisu in a drink... I am a huge tiramisu fan so this was something I HAD to try. It definitely had the tiramisu flavors of coco powder, milk, espresso and they even include a complementary lady finger. It is worth a try!!! They also have actual tiramisu and even a matcha flavor that is pretty delicious if you prefer that. The people working there are also really nice and friendly. And bonus they have a really neat rewards system too where you can get a cool fluffy prize! Highly recommend if you are in the area to try! read more
Small shop in downtown Sunnyvale. No seating available inside. Kiosk to order. I got a mango forest which was pretty good. The mango chunks were refreshing and went well with the matcha once mixed. Tried some of the strawberry coconut splash which was ok. It was on the tart side and quite thick, which made it difficult to mix evenly. Tried the classic tiramisu as well which was just ok to me - could've been more moist in my opinion and was on the dry side. Overall glad I tried but can't say this would be a drink spot that comes to mind in the future when I get the craving. read more

New dessert place in Sunnyvale. They have coffees, teas, and a house made fresh tiramisu selection. Service was quick, the inside of the cafe is small so it's more of a grab and go kinda place. We were here for a quick dessert after a nice meal in one of the restaurants nearby. We had the Mixed Berries Tiramisu. It was good but it tasted more like a moist spongy cake with berries than a tiramisu - without the essence of coffee or any liqueur. I am sure the Classic version probably has that. Any way, it was good but nothing special that makes me want to return (at least for the Tiramisu). I'll try the teas or coffee next time. Going by the reviews, those seem more popular.... read more
We ordered ahead of time for pickup and the process was seamless and quick. We got three tiramisu to try, mango, crusty chocolate and Biscoff caramel. Our favorite was the mango. It has a light mango flavor but you can definitely taste it. The crusty was also light on flavor except for the chocolate piece on the top that's really sweet. The Biscoff is good for those who loves Biscoff because the flavor over powered all other flavors. I can't really taste the caramel flavor. Also the Biscoff is no longer crispy. read more

Came here after grocery shopping at Whole Foods cus I was in desperate need of some caffeine. Found this place on yelp and decided to try it out the space is pretty tiny cus there's only one table and I tried ordering on the iPad and it lost connection midway thru me ordering so I had to ask someone at the counter. Ordered a strawberry grassland with whole milk and 50% sweetness. My drink came out in like 5 mins, however I noticed there was no ice in it so my drink was a little lukewarm the taste of the drink wasn't good, it was bitter and the strawberries themselves made the drink even more bitter. I definitely have had better matchas in the area and I honestly didn't even finish my drink cus it was so bitter and lukewarm. Not worth the price to me. Maybe I should have ordered a dessert instead. It's a pretty tiny shop so hard to even hang out inside read more
Between 3 and 4 stars but overall was not impressed with my drinks. I got a mango matcha that felt a bit grainy though the flavor was not bad. Tearrimisu tasted pretty water and didn't have the creamy taste.. the coffee flavor was not that rich either kinda tastes like artificial flavors and oreos. These drinks are close to 8 dollars - I got 50% sweet but I could've gone less sweet. It was accurate for 50% Inside was clean but there's no where to sit. What a happy find! I came to the store when it was a boba place for a YEE a few years ago. Now it is Alma dessert and I will be coming back. Thank you Kayla for amazing customer service last night. I ended up getting a passion fruit tea and a strawberry fruit tea both 30% sweet with lychee jelly. Perfect- just the right amount of sweet. They also have different types of tiramisú. This instantly became my favorite boba in the Bay The drinks are all fresh, flavorful, colorful, and unique. The ones with strawberries and melons actually have fresh fruit uniquely suspended in the drink. The 'i hate my boss' has you squeeze to shatter chocolates chunks into the drink and it's all so good. Service is good. Usually it's standard boba fare. Occasionally the owner is at the desk cracking jokes and talking about the restaurant or his inspirations. He has a long pedigree of designing drinks for different brands which I think shows in the drinks. Negatives -store is small and sometimes they run out of drinks. I stopped by 30 min before closing on a Thursday, hoping they had at least a few tiramisu options left. Surprisingly, they still had all flavors available. Order via kiosk and staff will call out your number shortly. Only one employee was working that night but he was quite the character. When we were deciding on what to order, he spoke up and recommended the crusty chocolate tiramisu if we liked sweet desserts. Definitely reminded me of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Tiramisu options: Matcha Mango Strawberry Crusty Chocolate Classic Drink: Assam Black Milk Tea I ordered matcha, strawberry, and hazelnut. Matcha was my favorite-- light, creamy soft, and wasn't too sweet due to the tea. Strawberry option consisted of strawberry sauce ladled over a vanilla-looking cake base. A little fruity sweet and tart. The chocolate had a crunchy chocolate shell coating. The Assam milk tea was standard pre-brewed tea and milk added to it, nothing special but it tasted fine. This shop is more of a grab and go place, no seating inside and it's kind of small. I'd go back for the matcha tiramisu! read more

I tried the tea-iramisu and it was delicious and creamy! Tiramisu treat in a cup! How yummy! The young gentleman making this drink was very kind, informative, and knowledgeable about the menu. There is one indoor seating but it seems like a Togo spot for a treat, sweet drink, or fruity drink offerings. read more

Cute little spot. Came for the first time today, the employee at the cashier was nice. The biggest issue I had was that I ordered Jasmine Milk Tea with Honey Boba and the boba is hard, not the usually chewy/soft texture. read more

I wish I could say it was as delicious as the pictures but sadly the flavor was a miss for me. They were sold out of multiple flavors in the drinks and I opted for the tiramisu coffee flavored drink. It did not hit the flavor mark for me. The presentation is spectacular and the drinks are picture perfect but not flavor wise. It is easy to order since they have two tablet stations to self order. The staff are quick and efficient so wait time is minimal. The store does not have seating inside nor outside, and it is pretty small inside the store. read more
I tried the crispy chocolate tiramisu and got a second one based on the employee's recommendation- mango tiramisu. Between the two, I preferred the chocolate one. The mango was good and it was light but it wasn't anything special for me. The crispy chocolate tiramisu had like a taste of coconut or maybe it was hazelnut. I would like to come back and try the original tiramisu. We got lucky by finding street parking. We came another night and couldn't find any parking after driving around several times so we gave up. Saw this new shop on Murphy and had to give it a try. It's a very tiny shop, easily missed if you blink. Plan to order for take out as there is no inside seating. There's plenty of parking in nearby parking lots (or even on the street). We chose these two drinks: - Original Matcha Lake with whole milk, less sugar, less ice, and honey boba. - Mango Forest with whole milk, less sugar, less ice, and honey boba. Both were very good, with the Mango Forest being my favorite out of the two. It had a very strong mango flavor. They make it with. fresh mangoes. You can see they have boxes of fresh mangoes in the shop. The Matcha drink had good strong matcha flavor. I would like to try one of the Tiramisu drinks next time. read more
My friends and I wanted to get a sweet treat after dinner and stopped by this place for tiramisu. We got one biscoff and one chocolate, both were flavorless/almost tasted like water left a weird aftertaste in our mouths. It was some of the worst tiramisu we have had. We did not get any of their drinks, so cannot comment on that but the tiramisu is a definite no. Even the chocolate bar on top of one did not have any flavor and did not taste right. This dessert shop is similar to a kiosk, don't expect to sit inside as there's no space . The service was good and we ordered just two tiramisus, about $9 each. The classic tiramisu was sold out when we got there (around 1 pm) so we settled on the matcha & biscoff varieties. They were both pretty yummy! The matcha has a stronger tea flavor and isn't overly sweet- only order it if you actually enjoy the flavor of matcha. The biscoff was pretty sweet and so good, exactly how you'd expect it to taste. I'm not sure if there was any coffee in it, though. This place is generally on the pricier side, but I'd go back to try a drink (with hesitation). read more
