Had dinner nearby in downtown sunnyvale and found this spot for dessert. Its a small store with minimum seating inside. I got the 4 tiramisu bundle for about $39. I had heard great things about it on social media, so wanted to check it out for myself. I got an Oreo blended drink and two slices of tiramisu: mango and pistachio. The staff was friendly and service was quick, but I was also the only person in the shop. Both the drink and the tiramisu was good, however I think it is a stretch considering the desserts tiramisu. The desserts were simply a white cake with whipped cream frosting and a topping corresponding to the flavor. I do think it would be odd to have a coffee flavoring with the mango, but the pistachio would have benefitted from the cake being soaked in coffee, like a standard tiramisu. Tried the Pistachio Tiramisu and it's good. It has the consistency of a tiramisu (no alcohol in it) with a mild taste of pistachio. It is unique, however, it's very pricey of $12 including tax. It's similar price as having a tiramisu at a full-serviced restaurant. You can also get a family-sized tiramisu at Whole Food around the same price. We were walking down old Murphy Avenue after dinner one day and as soon as I said, the word "tiramisu'", my family members all took the sharpest turn into the shop. When I asked the shop owner, how long they've been open he started to save the number two, and I thought he was going to say weeks or months, but he finished by saying two years. Our mouths were watering, looking at the display of various flavors of tiramisu. I could not decide between the Oreo, Matcha, or Bischoff just like all of my favorite flavors. We ended up getting the Oreo one and walking over to the plaza to share the cake. It was perfect. I liked that the cake part was fluffy and not too soggy from the coffee and that there was a noticeable amount of Oreo flavor and sprinkled Oreo crumbs on the frosting. *Review solely for Tiramisu's* I was not a fan of this place. I came here for the Matcha and Ube Tiramisu. Both were very underwhelming and mid. Matcha and Ube tastes were very subtle and not great quality. The cake was dry, not moist, and the cream for the cakes had a solid texture rather than a creamy silky texture you would normally find in tiramisu. The mid quality and taste did not satisfy my sweet tooth at all or hopes for good dessert. Unfortunately, I will be skipping this place next time. This spot has been on my list for a bit since seeing it on social media so leverage the birthday as an opportunity to try it out. I ordered the cocoa red velvet, pistachio, matcha, and mango flavor. In order of sweetness from lowest to highest I would say red velvet, matcha, pistachio and mango. I think the first two is good for folks that like 'not too sweet'. Pistachio was good in that it has a rich flavor in spite of the elevated sweetness level. I think the mango one is just a bit too much in the sweeter side to my liking. I usually don't like red velvet that much, but the one here has a tangy flavor to it that balances the sweetness so is good. Tried some of the strawberry coconut splash which was ok. It was on the tart side and quite thick, which made it difficult to mix evenly. My drink came out in like 5 mins, however I noticed there was no ice in it so my drink was a little lukewarm the taste of the drink wasn't good, it was bitter and the strawberries themselves made the drink even more bitter. The classic tiramisu was sold out when we got there (around 1 pm) so we settled on the matcha & biscoff varieties. They were both pretty yummy! The matcha has a stronger tea flavor and isn't overly sweet- only order it if you actually enjoy the flavor of matcha. The biscoff was pretty sweet and so good, exactly how you'd expect it to taste.
