This review is for the thai green tea, it's not too sweet and it has a very smooth taste of an authentic Thai green tea. Will be back soon to try the jian bing (Chinese savory crepes).

1 plain egg jianbing ($12.95), 1 chicken jianbing ($16.95) grilled chicken, glazed with a Korean-type bbq sauce

I love jianbing & the ones from here were ok. I might recommend not getting the plain egg one ($12.95) or only getting it if you're building-your-own / adding your preferred filling, as the chicken one ($16.95) that I also got, despite the steep price felt more worth it. All come with two eggs, crispy fried wonton crackers, sauces, green onion, cilantro ~ you choose which primary filling you want, then can adjust / add extra filling (pickled preserved veggies, lettuce, pork sung, ham, cheese, hot dog, etc) for extra $0.75 - $2. The chicken one for $17 without any extras seemed steep, but at least it was a large portion, and did come chock full of grilled bbq chicken (appeared to have fresh grill marks) glazed with a Korean-style bbq sauce, and which was fortunately not overcooked. Maybe some extra veggies would elevate it but when ordering I didn't feel like paying $1 for lettuce. *3/5* The plain egg one did come with extra fried wonton crackers, and seems like a good base for adding your own preferred filling = *2/5* without any additions. For both jianbings, I found the pancake skin-egg layer a little on the firmer side, and overall I think if veggies were included or cheaper, would be tastier. Overall, this isn't a place I would drive 30+ min to, but if I'm in the area I may return to try their bulgogi jianbing or build my own, and appreciate that this business is here. Noting, the location can be a little confusing, as their entrance is directly facing the parking lot. Order online via Toast, or at their store kiosk. Service was minimal but friendly.

Location: * Located on the back parking lot side of Downtown Sunnyvale * Discreet spot, slightly tucked away from the main street * Plenty of parking available on that side when I went Ordering: * Self-serve kiosk ordering system * Quick and easy process Seating: * Very limited - only two tiny tables * Definitely more of a grab-and-go type of place Food Ordered: * Classic Jianbing - Crispy inside, with egg and soft crepe on the outside * Soy Milk (on the side) paired nicely with the jianbing Overall: Great spot for a quick, flavorful breakfast with solid parking and easy ordering. Would return for the jianbing!

Bulgogi and classic jianbing

I'm a massive jianbing fan and really wanted to like Ktea Cafe since it's so hard to find a Taiwanese egg crepe place in the Bay. However, its jianbing is very different from the traditional Taiwanese jianbing-- the jianbing served here is overly crunchy without much egg flavor. The classic one without meat is very dry. The bulgogi jianbing, which has a $4 upcharge is better as it's saucier but still lacks egg flavor. Overall we liked the ease of ordering (right from the tablet, only 1 small table for waiting within the store) but the food was disappointing.

They've updated their ordering kiosk, and while all the normal jian bing are about as easily customized, they have inexplicably removed all costomization options for the vegan jian bing, which means I can no longer order it the way I like it. Also, there's no option to ask for the jian bing to be cut in half (which my husband prefers). Still good, and it probably won't inconvenience the average customer (ie. anyone who doesn't have an egg allergy), but I am sad I can't order my perfect egg-free jian bing configuration anymore

This eatery is located on the parking lot side of the building, and is just a takeout spot, so I ordered online in advance, and it was ready at pickup. There are a couple seats inside, but it's a small space. Ordered the pork belly jianbing, got it plain with just the egg, fried wonton, pork belly, and green onion...plus an extra egg. It was fat, and so yummy! The pork belly was juicy and slightly sweet in flavor. The wontons were nice and crispy. I'd definitely come back for more.

Beef Jianbing

I got the bulgogi beef jianbing, which tasted better than I expected. Having spent many summers in China as a kid, jianbing has a lot of nostalgia for me and I have also yet to find a jianbing in the States that matches up to the tastes you get in China. This jianbing comes pretty close: the sauce is flavorful but doesn't overpower the over flavors, the crisp adds a nice variety to the textures, the meat is cooked well and has good juice, and the egg crepe bundles everything together. Honestly 10/10, will come back to try some of the other flavors and will bring some to my parents as well -- for some reminders of the homeland. It took about 10 minutes from ordering to get my order -- which is a bit longer than what you would wait in China, but not too long of a wait. There's minimal seating, so it's mostly a take it to go kind of place. It is a bit messy to eat, so I wouldn't recommend eating in your car.

OMG - they serve Jianbings here!! I've always wanted to try this Taiwanese specialty! This delicious savory crepe with egg (sprinkled in with black sesame seeds), with a crispy fried wonton, green onions, cilantro, garlic chili with a sweet bean sauce with the most delicious pork belly - was stuffed with - not lightly placed so you got a LOT! This was AMAZING!! We ordered on line and brought it home to eat (as there's not a place to really sit and eat there) AND I was worried that the fried won tons would go soggy - and they DID NOT! It was so juicy but the fried wonton gave it that PERFECT CRUNCH! Had a little heat - was a little sweet - a little savory - with that juicy tender pork belly! I definitely have found my go to now! We also got a few of their baos... the tofu and the bulbogi and they were so GOOD. The baos were soft and pillowy with just the right amount of meats/tofu - with the pickled onions for crunch and the sauce! Ratio of bao and filling was PERFECT!! Can't wait to go back. We didn't get any tea because we had just gotten coffee from another place but will definitely try their tea next time as well. Note that while their address is 139 S. Murphey - they are in the back of another restaurant - so if you park on the outside where the parking lot is - you'll see the front of it! I'm SO THRILLED that they serve Jianbings here and can't wait to try other flavors!!

We stopped by here for a quick lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Your first impression when you pull up isn't too appetizing as the storefront is in the back of Murphy Ave where all the smelly trash cans and dumpsters are for all the front-facing businesses. We ordered a Classic Jianbing, which comes with two eggs and a crispy fried wonton, as well as some green onions and cilantro. The wonton is coated in what is supposedly chili sauce, although it tastes more like hoisin sauce to me. The jianbing itself is soft with a slightly chewy texture, amalgamating with the veggies, egg, and wonton to pleasurably satiate my carb cravings with this steamy hot Chinese crepe! It didn't seem too busy but we waited about 20 minutes after we placed our order before it was ready. There were also only two tables inside the relatively cramped interior, so seating is hard to come by. I recommend finding some of the benches on Murphy Ave if the tables are occupied. Overall, it's a bit pricey to be paying ~13$ for basically carbs and a thin layer of egg, but I'd come back again to give it another try the next time I'm craving this savory Chinese pancake!

This hype is definitely not for me. I came here with good expectations for Chinese crepe/Jianbing 煎餅, but after my first bite, I realized how much my expectations got drained. Great location in Sunnyvale old heritage district downtown. It's a very tiny storefront behind the Mayan restaurant. Cute little spot. I came with lots of curiosity and excitement. Maybe I didn't know what I was ordering, but for $12.95 classic Jianbing, I think they could have done much better. Perfect Jianbing texture, but I was extremely disappointed that my order only had the crepe and fried wonton skins inside. Yes, nothing else in it for $12.95. I didn't add the toppings as there are added costs to each item if selected. I thought the standard classic would be fine. You would think that a basic Jianbing had something in it. Well, I was wrong. I felt like I just ate an empty shell here. Not good. I even tipped them 15% during checkout. No lines and no crowds inside. Ordered at self service kiosk. Overall, it won't be my type of place to revisit or grab a bite again, but for beverages, it's ok here. It's my own honest opinion. I don't plan to pay $0.50-$1 or $2 for additional toppings here. Overpriced for Jianbings. I could have had a delicious sandwich instead. Assam milk tea at 50% sugar was good tasting for $4.75. I just wish that my first Jianbing experience could have been much better though. I am always looking for good authentic tastes and flavors. The classic Jianbing here really isn't for me. If only it had some small portions of veggies inside the crepe or something more. I cannot forget what I just ate for $12.95. I could have gotten a very good Chipotle chicken bowl or wrap or good large soup at Whole Foods instead. Very new experience here.

Vegan Jianbing

I've never seen or heard of jianbing before, and I was so excited to see a vegan option for me to try! The jianbing definitely lived up to my expectations, it was well filled and extremely delicious. The vegan one had vegan bacon, vegan cheese, fried wonton, lettuce, scallions, and sauce. Very unique and very tasty, highly recommend!

Bulgogi Beef Jianbing

Located in a small storefront with only two small tables, not great for dining in but wonderful for take out! Jianbing's are always a classic breakfast food for me growing up and this was super reminiscent with a little more modern twist with the bulgogi! For about $15, the serving was very large and two of us shared it with no problem. The wonton crisps inside gave it a fun texture as well! There is a bit of a wait to get it (about 20 minutes) but during that time we saw a lot of people picking up for food delivery apps! After our order, Katie (one of the team members of KTea) texted me for some feedback and follow up on how we enjoyed our food. Definitely will be back to try the others as well!

This was so good! It's a takeout only store so we didn't have a place to eat it fresh. We went home and ate it so it probably wasn't as fresh as it could be. I would assume it'll be more crispy if we ate it fresh but I thought it was still really good regardless! Would def be coming back (-:

I first tried their drinks at the CityLine Bridgerton Tea & Candle making event back in March. I was able to try hot Ruby milk tea, hot honey amber milk tea, hot jasmine pure tea, and hot peach four seasons oolong tea, all lightly sweetened. The ruby was my favorite! It was an oolong. I kept refilling my teacup with it throughout the night. Fast forward to the actual shop experience. They had ruby milk tea-- hooray! I got no sweet and added oats (signature topping) and brown sugar mochi jelly. So good but it was sweeter than I thought it would be. I was so sad they didn't have ruby during my visit in April so I got the deep roasted oolong milk tea, no sweet but with oats. Too dark/bitter for me. My friend got the passionfruit orange fruit tea and it was pretty good. Oh my goodness get the mochi waffle sticks if they have them! I got a three pack and they're soo crispy and chewy-licious with included whipped cream dip! Get chocolate cream for an extra fifty cents.
