Shu Shia finally fixed their AC after so long. The store still smells like durian, but that's expected given their durian drinks. Drinks are still tasty but the wait takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an 1.5 hours. There are also extra fees to order on their website in comparison to in person eventhough it is via the same platform. Mango Avocado Twist is the only drink that allows the oat popping boba addon. You'll need to mix the layers for sure. After all this time, Strawberry Daifuku Paradise still has the memorable sweet silky tofu. Will be back soon to enjoy some delicious fruit drinks.
I got the Cheezo Pink Peach. The peach flavor was super strong without tasting overly artificial, and they put very generous amounts of peach. The cheese foam was actually super cheesy but I enjoyed it a ton. My friend's avocado drink was so good!!! Would get that next time. I loved the oat boba in side. The only thing is this place is soooo expensive. Average of $9-10 per drink, which makes this place not a casual or easy spot to return to. The wait was insane on a Thursday around 12:30PM, but I've heard it's been worse. Took about an hour to get our drinks because there were over 100 drinks ahead of us. Luckily the shop itself wasn't crowded as I think people left and then came back. Overall: 4.4/5
I was really craving a smoothie after hitting the gym, so I finally caved and tried Shu Shia after eyeing it for like a year! I got the Strawberry Avocado smoothie because I think that's one of their most popular drinks. It was surprisingly really good, but probably in a different way than you think. The avocado and coconut yogurt made it sooo creamy and almost too creamy, but the strawberry balanced it back out so well. It wasn't too sweet! It tasted healthy for sure. The chia seed and oat popping boba were also really yummy toppings with the same avocado smoothie that my mom got. They have sooo many orders even around dinner time on a weekday, but it honestly wasn't too long of a wait (~10-15 mins). I think a lot of them might be online/delivery orders because there weren't that many people in store. They have a good amount of seating inside.
If you like healthier fruit, avocado, coconut smoothies, this is your place! If you like stronger milk tea and boba, it is perhaps not. I love that you bc an do 0% sugar for almost every single drink, and do a $0.50 monk fruit option. But take note, monk fruit is expensive and barely sweet so it won't add much sweetness at all. Order your drink online ahead too; because there's almost always a 15-40 minute wait, especially on a warm day.
There's almost always an hour+ wait here, so I definitely recommend ordering online ahead of time. I live nearby, so I just placed my order in-store and came back about an hour later to pick it up. I ordered the Yumberry Yogurt Drink, Peach Gum Drink, and Grape Yogurt Drink. I got all of them at 30% sweetness, and they were still pretty sweet, so I'd recommend ordering them with even less sugar if you prefer drinks that aren't overly sweet. Even though they're always busy with orders, it wasn't crowded inside. I was able to find a seat since most people just grab their drinks and leave. The drinks are very fruit-forward and taste incredibly fresh and high quality. If you enjoy fruity drinks, this place is definitely worth trying. My favorite was the Yumberry Yogurt Drink because it was so unique--I've never had anything quite like it before. It reminded me a bit of a mulberry drink with a creamy yogurt twist, and I'd definitely order it again.
If you love durian, you will love the durian drinks. It had actual chunks of durian fruit in it. Pricey drink at $11, but that's expected due to the durian fruit itself being expensive
We arrived just two minutes before opening, and there was already a line forming outside. Fortunately, it moved quickly and we received our drinks shortly after ordering. We tried the Avocado Dragon Fruit Dream and the Yogurt Mulberry Breeze, both of which were delicious. The avocado drink, which includes kale and yogurt, is quite filling; we opted for 0% sugar, and the natural sweetness from the dragon fruit and yogurt was perfect. The mulberry drink was incredibly refreshing with a subtle tea aftertaste that was very palatable. Even at 0% sugar, the mulberries provided a pleasant, natural sweetness.
I have driven across town in peak traffic just to get their avocado drink. Their drinks will keep you full for the whole day! If you like durian, they have that too! Make sure to order online or else you will be waiting for a very long time. I highly recommend going here and their bags are reusable!
Yummmy! Love a good avocado smoothie and when you pair it with oat popping boba, 10/10. I know it doesn't work this way but I feel healthier drinking these drinks and yes, even when I get double popping boba . I don't make the rules. My go to is the classic avocado but I've also had the strawberry avocado. Strawberry was a little sour for me but still ok. Can't wait to try other flavors!
When you first walk in you are greeted by a punch of durian smell, which to me is delicious. But i came on friday around 8:20 but didnt get our drinks until 8:40 so about 20 min wait. The yogurt drink was tart and sour due to the real fruits being used but overall 8/10, the durian drink was a tad bit too strong and durian is already an overpowering flavor 7/10.

The signature milk tea had a noticeable tea flavor and wasn't overly sweet, making it easy to enjoy. As for the durian drink, it delivered exactly what durian lovers would hope for--strong aroma, rich flavor, and a texture similar to a durian milkshake. The packaging also deserves a mention. The designs are distinctive and eye-catching, giving the brand a unique identity and making the drinks great for photos as well. Prices are a bit higher than your average boba shop, but the quality of ingredients and creativity behind the menu make it feel justified. After trying boba and tea shops for years, it's refreshing to find a place that offers something genuinely different. Not every drink will be everyone's favorite, but the menu is memorable enough to make you want to come back and explore more. Overall, a solid first visit, and I'll definitely be back to try some of their other specialties.
5/5 I am a big fan of their avocado smoothies and durian milk tea. I would happily drive for an hour round trip just to bought 3 drinks for myself and 1 drink for my husband. Their drinks are just that good. I never finished my milk tea from different places; however, I always finished their first drink on the way home and start second drink once I get home. Save the third drink for next day. I would recommend all of their avocado smoothies and taro drink. If you like durian, please choose durian milk tea. Also, i like their Yunan Olive Lemon Refresher for hot day. My only complaint is sometimes they closed their online order when they get too busy, and I am driving from far distance, so I really do not like to wait for another 1 hour for getting my drink done. All in all, if you are looking for high-quality and healthy drink, choose Shu Shia.
Saw a video on TikTok about the strawberry daifuku drink from Shu Shia so went to go try it on a Friday in February around 8pm. Store was fairly busy with limited indoor seating available. We ordered on the kiosk - I got the Strawberry Daifuku Paradise and my friend got the Signature Avocado Smoothie, and we got a text about 20 minutes later that our drinks were ready. Strawberry Daifuku Paradise (3.5/5): Got it with 100% sweetness but it wasn't very sweet and the strawberry flavor was subtle. Mochi texture was good. I think fresh strawberry pieces would have added a different texture and enhanced the drink Signature Avocado Smoothie (3/5): Tried my friend's drink and it mostly tasted like yogurt - it felt like something we could make at home. The toppings were interesting, but it felt like there was a bit too much going on with the chia seeds and oat boba. Overall, Shu Shia has unique drinks but they are a bit pricey and flavor wise, I was a bit underwhelmed. I don't think I would return
We ordered multiple drinks, and it took about 75 minutes to get our order. !!!!!!Warning to others: Be careful when entering your phone number on the ordering screen. The system doesn't automatically clear the previous person's number. Someone before us entered their phone number but decided not to order. My sister was next, and she placed and paid for her order without entering her own number because she didn't realize it was still using the previous person's number. Later, we found out that someone else picked up her drinks because of the number mistake. So make sure the screen is back at the main ordering page and that your own phone number is entered before placing your order. The drinks themselves were light and yummy. We also went during a BOGO 50% off promotion, which was a nice bonus. The drinks were good, but the 75-minute wait and ordering mix-up were definitely frustrating. read more

When we arrived, the kiosks had a little notification that it would take 1hr+ for our drinks to be prepared. I would definitely keep that in mind that this is a pretty busy place, but I also felt that the wait wasn't as long as estimated. I saw this was a popular place for durian or smoothie-esque drinks. However, I wanted to try other items which was a milk tea and the avocado coffee. I definitely would not recommend these drinks. The tea was not flavorful, and the avocado coffee was okay. This is also taking into the account the size and price of the drinks, which definitely makes it not worth it. I would try to come again to get a more popular menu item. read more

WORTH IT!! Worth the price, worth the wait, worth the drive, just worth it. This might be my new obsession for this coming summer. So refreshing, perfect sweetness level, and flavorful beyond anything I thought an avocado smoothie could be. If you can plan to order ahead I highly recommend. I ordered online around 6:10pm on a Sunday from the comfort of my home and then picked it up around 7pm. read more
This place honestly really confuses me! Wait time is insane but the drinks are pretty good. But no, the wait time isn't 15-20 minutes, it was like an 1 hour plus. I have never ever seen a drink spot have an order time this long, I order and look at the screen and realize there's like over 100 cups in front of me. I look around in the store, there's people sitting down but there's no line or anything. All of Cupertino decided to order Shu Shia online which I'm assuming is there go to way of ordering. I saw it originally on Yelp and loved how they have some avocado smoothies. Parking lot wasn't too packed and inside wasn't as well. Ordered my drink and realized the wait time mentioned above and ended up walking to De Anza college and around the area. Smoothie was really good, I got the avocado and strawberry coconut drink. I have also had the mango too which I like a little more. This place at most is worth a 20 minute wait but I can't justify an hour long. They have so many workers working too. Realistically this is a 3 star place but I enjoy these type of drinks so I will give that to them. You NEED to order online to enjoy this tea/smoothie shop. read more

Came here 30 minutes before closing on a Friday and was able to order pretty much right away, which was nice & unexpected. There were quite a few orders pending though so it did take a little while to get my drink but nothing crazy. I ordered the strawberry daifuku and followed the recommended sugar levels. I was initially scared to because the recommended was 0% sugar but i'm glad i followed it because it was came out pretty sweet. The drink was enjoyable and unique with a nice texture. read more
My son introduced us to Shu Shia. We really enjoyed both of our avocado drinks- no sugar. The signature drink has popping oat boba - I've never had this before. The store was so busy, but they are very efficient. We ordered there, but I think most people order online. Looking forward to going back soon read more
I absolutely love this place so much and they'll continue to take my money!! Shu Shia has been open for a while but I wanted to let the craze die down to try it! It's a superfood, health drink place that provides smoothies, teas and boba! I've been a couple times and I always order the Avocado Rich Smoothie that comes with chia seeds, oat popping boba, yogurt and avocado smoothie of course. I really appreciate that they offer a zero sugar sweetener option. The flavors are so delicious and everytime I've ordered this drink it's the same consistency. I highly recommend ordering online than in store because it can get crazyyyy busy here (40+ mins wait during weekends and evenings). The employees work so hard to get your drink out and I applaud them for always making the drinks taste the same every time read more
Shu Shia was worth the hype! The wait was around an hour, but I think it was worth it. I tried a couple drinks and all were so good and super filling. The drinks could be a meal alone. My favorite drink was the durian one. Very strong durian flavor, perfect sweetness, and love the mochi in it. I also got 3 drinks from the avocado series. The strawberry, signature, and coconut. All were so creamy and felt good to drink. My favorite was the signature, I love the oat popping boba. The recommended sweetness was 30% which was good, but wasn't sweet enough to me. I would want to try the 50% next time. Overall, really good drinks would come again. read more
I ordered the Black Mulberry Smoothie. It came out within 20 minutes. Order ahead of time on the site if you can. During lunch and dinner time, the wait can be about 30 minutes to longer than that! I enjoyed the smoothie. It tastes strongly of mulberry. 25% sugar is enough for me! The parking lot is small so find parking elsewhere when you can. Great place to hang out with friends. It's a bit loud though so I don't recommend this as a date spot. read more

- Order ahead online because there will be a wait! On a Saturday there was a 50-60 min wait - loved the variety and uniqueness of the drinks offered, will definitely have to be back to try more! (1) oolong milk tea: this was the best roasty oolong milk tea I've ever had! You taste that rich tea first and then a nice full creaminess (2) signature avo smoothie with chia seed: this was also so tasty! A great creaminess that actually wasn't too heavy. The oat popping boba was great too, the pop texture was so fun and the oat flavor complimented the yogurty avocado read more
I have heard about Shu Shia so many times and finally made it out to try it. Ordering was quick with no line, but the wait for the drinks was close to an hour. I would recommend planning something nearby while you wait - like grabbing groceries nearby. Otherwise, the wait can feel very long. The drinks absolutely did not feel overhyped. As a durian lover, I ordered the durian blossom and it delivered - real durian meat in every sip, rich and fragrant, plus the daifuku inside added a fun, chewy texture. My friend got the taro pearl bliss, which was dense, creamy, and full of real taro flavor - perfect for winter. If you are into unique, fruit-forward drinks - Shu Shia is worth the visit. Just come with patience (or try ordering online). read more
First time trying! I came on a Saturday afternoon. The wait time can be as long as an hour. I got the strawberry daifuku paradise and it was good! Default recommendations lean towards minimal sugar. The drink is spectacular. The restroom is not safely locked. Multiple people were unintentionally opening locked bathroom doors when I was there. Hopefully this isn't a persistent issue. Parking is tough, but it's doable. I would consider coming back. read more
came here around 8:00 pm with my girlfriend, it didn't look super packed inside but the order screens on their tvs were filled! the screws told you how much cups were left in total for a wait time, and there was also a wait time displayed on the kiosks which where you can order. a worker told us it was a hour wait and that was fine, parking situation isn't too horrible since it's in a little plaza shopping center. we came for the bogo 50% on the matcha series since they just released them. we ordered: rice milk matcha latte - super delicious and first time i've actually seen a rice milk based with matcha here in the U.S., i was super impressed on how i can taste the rice milk & how super umami and flavorful the matcha is. jasmine matcha latte - super delicious, i got the balance between jasmine & matcha, not one was overpowering the other. avocado coconut fusion smoothie - nice chunks of coconut jelly i believe? also the avocado was super flavorful, great refreshing drink. was this worth the hour wait? only if you are grabbing something to eat in the meantime, other than that i wouldn't say it's super worth it if you are just waiting around. read more

So so so so delicious. I'm a super milk tea/boba drinker so it's rare for me to find a new S tier store but Shu Shia's drinks really blew me away. The taro oat blossom was SO good and the oolong milk tea was also amazing. I also tried the strawberry peach refresher and it was good but fruit drinks are not really my thing. I think their most popular drinks are the avocado and durian ones but the milk tea ones are sooooo good. Service was okay. A little bit chaotic because of the amount of orders they had but they were nice through the chaos. The store is okay and the bathroom isn't the nicest. But there was a good amount of space and I did like how it didnt feel incredibly crowded. The smell of durian is really pungent in the store though read more

I love Shu Shia for their unique and health-forward drinks! Stopped by with my sister and we absolutely loved both drinks we got: Signature Avocado Smoothie with Chia Seeds - I'm a big fan of avocado smoothies, and this one is hands down one of my favorites. You can really taste both the avocado and yogurt, and the oat popping boba adds such a fun texture Strawberry Daifuku Paradise - an oolong milk tea with strawberry paste, strawberry pudding, and mochi paste. This one blew us away! It's perfect for strawberry lovers and such a great mix of textures with the pudding and mochi They can get pretty busy, so I'd recommend ordering ahead online through their website (although online orders are sometimes paused during peak hours). We stopped by on a Monday evening, and our drinks were ready within a few minutes. read more
Shu Shia is not your average milk tea spot -- and honestly, that's exactly why I love it. Yes, they have milk tea, but what keeps me coming back is their smoothie blends. Think avocado and kale as the base, then you pick your fruit to go with it. Sounds healthy, tastes incredible. I've gone with strawberry and dragon fruit on different visits and both were so fresh and juicy -- not cloyingly sweet like a lot of places tend to be. Just clean, vibrant, and satisfying. Oh, and if you're a durian lover, they've got you covered too. These flavor combos are genuinely unlike anything else I've seen on a menu around here. Fair warning though -- everyone else has figured out how good this place is. It gets packed even on weekdays, and app orders can easily run 30 minutes or more. But trust me, you'll be standing there waiting and thinking it was 100% worth it. This one has locked in a permanent spot on my favorites list. Highly recommend giving it a try. read more

Loved my mango avocado smoothie! It seems very healthy and I could see the kale bits in it, so it makes me feel better about grabbing yet another drink lol The store is in a small plaza, so parking can be difficult. The store itself is small and can be a little stuffy. Also a fair warning, the durian smell is strong inside. There are 2 kiosks for ordering inside, but they also have a QR code for online ordering. While I was ordering, the kiosks went down for a couple minutes but I was able to place an online order quickly. It took about 10 minutes for my drinks to come out. I have no idea how Shu Shia became so popular in this area, but clearly they're doing something right because it's ALWAYS busy with both to-go and in person orders. Think about this place more like a smoothie spot that has tea in it vs an actual boba shop. Most of their drinks are defaulted to "less sweet 30%", and overall taste healthier/fresh, which I super appreciate! ** WARNING ** -- If you cannot stand the smell of durian, do not come here, or breathe through your mouth while you quickly grab your to-go drink :) Their signature drink that got me, my husband, and many friends hooked on this place: - Signature Avocado Smoothie with Chia Seed (what I love about this is the OAT POPPING BOBA, it's a healthier alternative to regular boba, has the same fun chewy texture, with kinda a popping bite in the middle) Their other avocado series are good too, but you have to pay extra for the oat popping boba. If you want something a little sweeter, I'd imagine you'd like the strawberry or mango version. I also like their drinking mochi toppings in some of their drinks. Overall fruit series is refreshing and yummy, especially because there's a lot of the fruit bits you can chew while sipping your drink. Their new Taro series is pretty good too. Taro is blended smoothly, and there's two different tea base options depending on which drink you get, so double check! One is jasmine based if you want something lighter & floral, and the other drink uses oolong + brown sugar boba, which will of course give you a nuttier/deep flavor profile. - Parking is difficult in this small plaza, so try parking at the plaza further down, then walk over - There's some seating inside - Sometimes the online ordering system will not work if there's too many drinks in queue, but keep trying if you don't want to order in person - Self ordering kiosk is both in English and Chinese - You HAVE to show proof of your order number in order to pickup your drink read more

We came here after dinner one night as we were around the area. We wanted to try something new and Shu Shia had great reviews. When we first walked in - durian. The smell was everywhere - not a gross smell, but distinctly different and lingering. We weren't the only ones who noticed - as we waited for our drinks, many people who walked in expressed the exact same thought. My friend found much amusement in hearing their gasps when people realized what the smell was. Ordering was pretty simple - there are two kiosks on the side to order or you can order online. OMG! I suggest ordering online if you're looking to try this place out - it gets packed and the amount of drinks produced is insane. My friend had the milk tea and I tried the buffalo brown sugar milk tea. While I am a fan of fruit based drinks, I wasn't in the mood for it this time around, so skipped straight to the brown sugar. The buffalo milk made me hesitate, but why not. As we were standing there waiting for our drinks - holy cow - the sheer amount of orders/drink being made and the amount of people working was just wow. Our drinks were behind 76 other drinks and estimated time was 20 mins. Overall, the estimation of time was roughly correct. We had fun watching the factory like drink production and were thinking we should come back and try the avocado one since that was really popular. I liked my drink - the buffalo milk wasn't too overwhelming and the tea was lighter in flavor. I liked the pearls as it had a good chew, but it was very light in flavor and almost bland. Parking can be a real hassle as the shop shares a small parking with many other businesses. Be careful when parking as the lines are tight!
