Recently had to do a bunch of medical treatments including receiving IV contrast so wanted to try my best to hydrate with some beneficial juices and cleanse. Grabbed a few of my fave greens and some beauty shots, the Dr. Sturm ones tasted great. The cashier helping was super friendly, helped me sample a bunch of items that were new to me and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend this location. I put in my weekly orders through the app and schedule for early morning pickups and for the most part, it's usually ready for me when I arrive. I think only a couple of times my order wasn't ready because they were busy with walk-in customers. They make the fresh to order items like the acai bowls and refreshers right after you order. They even have samples at the door, which I absolutely recommend you trying before putting in an order if you are new to press juices because I know some of the flavors are a bit of an acquired taste (I've got used to all of the concoctions, so nothing throws me off anymore lol). But definitely put the orders through the app as they do have some great deals on there (6 for $35, 7 for $22 for shots, and other set package deals for cleansing, detoxing, debloating, or vacation prepping). I came to use the $2 freeze promo that I spotted on Instagram. Of course being on Santana Row means parking can be a pain, but usually it's not too difficult to find parking in the structure nearby. When we got there there were 3 people ahead of us and one person helping them. This took a while since they were taking their time with their order, so I wished that the other person working would have helped take orders to speed the process up. The store is pretty small so it gets crowded fast and not a lot of room to line up. I ordered a strawberry freeze but the machine wasn't working, so I settled on chocolate with granola, almond butter, and blueberries. My boyfriend got pineapple with peach bears, strawberries, and granola. The freezes were definitely smaller than advertised though still satisfying, but I don't think I would pay $6.50 for this. I also used my sign up offer for the rewards on a citrus juice, but it took the person at the register a while to figure out what was going on since the rewards app is still new and in the pre-sign up phase, and they have a separate membership program that you pay for. The chocolate freeze definitely tasted a bit like dates which I don't mind. I really enjoyed the addition of the almond butter and granola, which added a nice bit of thickness and cinnamon crunch to the freeze. The texture of the freeze is a bit like a creamier sherbet but it is very cold and by the 3-4 bite I couldn't really taste anything lol. The pineapple freeze was also pretty tasty and did taste like pineapple. The citrus 3 we got was also really yummy. Couldn't really taste aloe or mint but the grapefruit flavor was bright, tart, and bitter. Basically just grapefruit juice but for $2 I'm not mad. Overall (3.5/5) I ordered the Greens 2 juice. I think the juice was good, and it tasted better than a lot of other places I've gone to. It wasn't too sweet. It also doesn't have a chalky texture that some pressed juices have, which is good. Although good, it wasn't particularly unique. It tasted exactly what you think a green juice would taste like. There are no seats, which I think is pretty typical for this chain. I do think it's overpriced (I find that most juice places normally charge between 4.50 and 5.50). If you don't mind paying the price, I would recommend this place. However, since it wasn't particularly unique and didn't really stand out among all the other juiceries, I probably won't make this a regular stop. read more

Newly opened next to Oren's Hummus in Cupertino's Main Street plaza, if you can find parking this is definitely worth checking out especially while they have their soft opening promo of $2 juices (til July 4th) They were super nice and let us sample a bunch of the juices they recommended. I think the Greens series and the Citrus series are the best, not super into the Roots' carrot-y flavor. I ended up going with the Greens 3 which is a good balance of healthy and sweet, but there are indicators on the menu that help you out if you're going for more fan favorites or more low sugar juices. This location has freezes too and they even have cold brew coffee which is awesome! The matcha freeze is the Greens 2 with matcha powder, and is dairy-free (such a blessing for lactose intolerant suckers like me). A small size with no toppings is $4.95, pretty standard these days. Maybe not a great habit for a poor college student but once in a while, treat yo self namsayin? Overall 10/10 service and healthiness, will be back for sure when I need to reset and detox read more

As I scroll through Instagram, I stumble upon $2 freezes/ice cream at pressed juicery to celebrate national ice cream day. I'm intrigued. I tell my friend about the special promotion and the news had already spread. She shares the same feelings as I. We drive there, struggle to find parking, and when we finally spot the logo, our eyes lay upon the long line under it. We stand next to ice cream lovers for around 20 minutes until we are served. The staff are friendly, efficient, and patient even though understaffed at a time of promotion. They allow us to sample flavors and both my friend and I agree that the strawberry is the best. We get two. Once we exit the store and the feeling of envious eyes can't be felt, we sit down and enjoy our dessert. The freeze has a unique consistency which I can only describe as a mixture between ice and soft serve. I enjoyed the base as it left me feeling refreshed. The toppings I choose (chocolate drizzle, chocolate chips, almonds) added an extra level of sweetness and crunch to the freeze as well. Although my overall experience was great, there are areas of improvement. As I stated before, the place was definitely understaffed -- only two people working. This extended the wait time and I could hear complaints throughout the line. I do however understand the pressure put upon the employees so the wait didn't bother me too much.
