Apple oatmilk frappaccino
Jennifer H.

A great Starbucks location. The plaza doesn't get too crazy busy, so it's a convenient quick stop to grab a drink and pastries. A while back I'd gotten the fall drink: apple crisp oatmilk frappuccino blended beverage to try it out. The drink was made beautifully with lovely swirled whipped cream on top. Very picturesque. The drink itself unfortunately wasn't my personal cup of tea. It had a delightful apple aroma, but tasted like a candle :) I wouldn't order this particular drink again, but there are plenty of other drinks that I do enjoy. Nice baristas. There are a few tables and chairs here, so you could enjoy your time here.

Its now open M-F 6:00 AM-3:00 PM . Closed Saturdays and Sundays. The same friendly Staff. Comfortable seating indoors and outdoors. Located at the corner of Cox and Paseo Presada just down from the old location on the right by the new Saratoga Vision Center.

Temporarily closed with no reopen date noted

This location is in a new redevelopment area. For now it's a great location and quiet but once all the apartments surrounding the new location are done and people move in, I anticipate it will be pretty busy. It also has a very small parking lot which might become problematic. It does have a nice outside patio area they share with the leasing office. Sadly this location closed down temporarily. The sign on the door does not indicate when they may reopen which is never a good sign it will be soon. **I'm only giving a 3 star because I have no clue if it's a great location or bad since they closed down.

Blake Awake tea. The best black tea!

I love this Starbucks on Cox ave. I used to do breakfast here a lot but now just do the black tea every now and then. It's close to a Gbus stop so between the hours of 8 and 10 am there's little or no seats. The crew is pretty competent so long lines are handled quickly.

The shop is tucked away in a little nook, with some seating inside, but we thought the outdoor seating was even better. It's a nice spot to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Northern California weather. We ordered the Ginger & Lemongrass seasonal drink and were pleasantly surprised by the strength of the coffee and the unique flavors. Made with espresso, milk, and house-made palm sugar syrup infused with fire-roasted ginger and lemongrass, it had a warm, earthy flavor that reminded us of a turmeric latte. It was absolutely delicious! We ordered it hot, and I'm glad we did. We also ordered a banana rice treat that we were excited to try. Unfortunately, it wasn't really for us. The flavor and texture might be more of an acquired taste. Overall, we enjoyed stepping outside our usual coffee routine and exploring Indonesian-style coffee. The seasonal latte was a highlight, and we're glad we gave Hijau Coffee a try!

What I love: - They always innovate on their specialty lattes, they have new flavors that change with the season, but they also keep their original menu intact as well. Pretty much anything you get is solid in taste. Their lattes always have that slightly malted vanilla note which I prefer. Today I tried their new Savannah Mint & Bourbon latte which was quite refreshing. Would recommend getting it light-sweet, it would be overly sweet if you didn't in my opinion. Also the barista recommended to get it iced which was a good call. - Plenty of seating. The place seems small, but somehow they have a lot of seating between the indoor and outdoor spaces What could be improved: - The WiFi is always spotty at this location. I've been forced to use my hotspot multiple times - Their food offering is pretty basic and the pastries aren't amazing either. Would be nice to see them have more options either made in house or from a better bakery. The bakery they use currently is pretty mid. What can't be improved, but kind of sucks (LOL): - The parking lot is a nightmare! It's always full and whoever designed it was not very smart (to put it politely). It is so congested and in some parts there is no way 2 cars can pass, let alone back out of the parking spot itself! The coffee shop is too popular for this parking lot basically.

"The" Phin Coffee is a unique experience; you get to prepare the drink to your liking. The Milo Coffee and Nutella Banana Coffee became new favorites that are hard to find elsewhere. I'll note that the default sweetness might be a bit much for the average person. I've tried a few snacks and thought they were fine. The Pâté Chaud was fresh & tasty. However the Egg Puff and the biscotti that comes with the Phin Coffee were more average. The service is friendly. They often provide good tips, like warning how much caffeine is in the large drinks & how best to prepare the Phin Coffee. It's also fun to watch them film new content for social media. The vibes are on-point. The inside is well-decorated & lit. There is complimentary Wi-Fi, charging, & restrooms. It's good for solo or small groups. My final comment is that this plaza's parking lot fills up on the weekends, so finding a spot was more challenging than expected. But it's always been worth it!

We ordered from Ari at the front counter then sat down with our drinks. The tables are pretty small and she accidentally knocked over and spilled her entire drink all over herself and the floor. I cleaned it up and the front desk person, Ari, also helped clean the spill off the floor. After everything was cleaned, I asked if we could re-do her drink and Ari at the front said their "policy is that they will not re-do a drink if it has been spilled and if we want another drink we have to pay for it". She had a bad attitude on top of everything. It was an accident and very embarrassing, and the least they could do is give the girl another drink. She literally had one sip. I understand if someone walks out then comes back saying they spilled and needed a new drink, but she saw the whole thing happen. I have never heard of this policy anywhere else. Maybe it shouldn't be an entire blanket policy and they should make exceptions. I've been here in the past with friends too and the same person, Ari, has always had a horrible attitude. She should not be working here.

And as a high compliment coming from Asian parents, it, in fact, was not too sweet. Instead of committing to one flavor, I had the genius idea of Frankensteining a cake together. 8 different flavors, 8 different slices: - Chocolate Gateaux -Sweet Corn Cheesecake - Dubai Chocolate Cake -Black Sesame Gateaux - Pink Guava Sponge Cake - Hojicha Sesame Crumble Cake - Earl Grey Sponge Cake - Strawberry Matcha Sponge Cake Now, this method of trying different cakes was, in my opinion, genius. But would I recommend it? Not necessarily, as it definitely totaled more than what a single flavored whole cake would have been. Though, worth it. Also disclaimer, I did also get a couple of extra pastries (vanilla canele, cream cheese cookie, earl grey madeline, and the butter mochi vanilla bear), which is why the total ended up being more. My absolute favorites were the black sesames, sweet corn cheese cake, and the pink guava sponge cake. Definitely recommend the canele as well as the butter mochi vanilla bear. I will 100% come back for their cheesecakes, as I think they do them very well because they're light and airy, while still being satisfyingly creamy. In terms of their cakes in general, while I can absolutely appreciate their lower sweetness levels compared to many other bakeries, for me personally, I did not think they were sweet enough. But if you're looking for that perfect not-too-sweet dessert. This is the bakery for you. Didn't try, but they also have a wide variety of cafe drinks as well. Service was quick and thorough- much appreciated.
