    Cute bathroom decor!

I'm rarely in SJ but decided to ride with hubby to work today, and found this cafe a few minutes away! I wanted a cute and cozy spot to do some work, and this was exactly what I found. First thing I noticed and loved was that there were a ton of plants, and lots of decorations catered to anime, superhero's, and games. There were some arcade games which was cute, and a fish tank (that definitely needs to be cleaned). I came here because I noticed some cool latte flavors, like Pho and Miso??? Unfortunate I was too chicken to try it, so I ended up getting the black sesame latte (half sweet) due to popular reviews. Service was straight forward and quick, not too much interaction. I asked for wifi because I had zero reception and they gave me a tiny slip of paper with a code on it, which only worked for 1 device for a designated 2 hours. Weird but fine, the wifi worked well. My drink was decent as well, the sesame flavor wasn't as pronounced as I would have liked, but the latte art was beautiful! My hubby joined me during his lunch break and ordered a red velvet latte to go, and I liked that one better. Overall I had a good experience and found what I was hoping for, so I would come back!

Came here on a weekday morning for a quick coffee pick up! Very cute store, not too crowded, clean and friendly staff. I got the cappuccino and was quite pleased with it. Coffee was very well made. I'd like to come in again to try some of their other specialty coffees

Nice spot in Cupertino -- excellent coffee, modern relaxed vibe, and friendly staff. The pour-over and cold brew are both top-notch.

Interesting coffee shop with many interesting coffee me up like miso latte and pho latte. The interior is unique with a lot of action figure, plant and old arcade machine. It has limited pastries choices. One worker is friendly. One Miso latte is interesting. It has saltiness but cannot taste the miso. I like the arcade machine. The price is reasonable.

Update.... Today was a great visit!! I swung in to grab two lattes on my way to meet a friend for a hike and the worker was fantastic - chatty, friendly and super pleasant The shop was quiet at 815 on a foggy Sunday morning, would have been great to sit and read with my latte I asked for extra hot and it was perfect!!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with a friend to grab coffee. The ambiance inside is cool and inviting, with amazing decor around. I ordered the red velvet latte with oat milk, the barista ensured it wouldn't be too sweet, they made the drinks pretty quick and they tasted good! I was hoping to try some of their dessert but they seemed to have ran out of their bakery items by the time I made it. But I would still come back for the latte! Cute spot for a nice hang.

I hadn't been here in years and decided to get a coffee since I was in the area. From what I had remembered the coffee was okay, but the owner/worker wasn't super friendly. I walked in and immediately recognized the worker and his attitude. In the short 5 minutes I was there, he was rude to two different people. He also doesn't bother greeting or thanking his customers. Anyways, I ordered an iced lavender latte and it was... okay. Flavor was decent but the drink was tiny for 7 dollars. Honestly, you can find better coffee and service elsewhere!

Cute cafe with unique drink items! Located in a plaza so it was easy to find parking. The interior was cute, with an arcade game and some seating. Ordered the red bean matcha, red velvet latte, and hazelnut chocolate mousse. The matcha and red bean were light in flavor and the red velvet mainly had a coffee taste. The latte art was pretty. The mousse was good, but gets very chocolatey and sweet as you eat it. I liked the interior and decorations around! There were tables to sit by and a couch area.

Black sesame latte was delicious with oat milk! Just one barista when I went on a weekday afternoon (I think it was the owner) and they whipped up my drink quickly. Heads up, they don't do personal cups. I usually bring my own to keep my hot drinks hot even when I dine in since I'm guilty of babysitting my drinks-but no biggie since my latte was so good I finished it up quicker than I normally would. Plenty of parking both in front of the shop and I think there's a garage. The vibes inside were very cozy today near the window as it drizzled. I liked the decor and took some moments to admire the walls of art and the huge plant near the door. I'd come back to try some other things.

Cute little coffee shop with enough tables for you to work. They have a lot of Asian based flavored drinks, which was really cool. Got the black sesame latte and it was good. Only thing I didn't like was that they had horrible reception. They offered free wifi but it was only for one device, so I was connected on my laptop, but my phone was basically a brick.

There's plenty of parking around and plenty of seating. Drinks are great. Highly recommended coming here. :) Heads up: If you're here to study, you are given a code upon drink purchase. It's for 2 hours and for 1 device only! Black Sesame Oat Milk Latte 5/5: Very good, not too sweet and strong sesame flavor. What really impressed me was that the oat milk was foamed quite well! The way cow milk vs oat milk is foams is slightly different and most of the time, the oat milk gets over foamed and ends up with lots of bubbles which disrupts the smooth texture of the latte. This cafe did a great job with the latte and I can't wait to try out more of their drinks! Service: Fast! Ambiance: This cafe is one of the few places left where they encourage you to lounge and chat. It's cozy with tons of places to sit and even more knick knacks to spot. And with drinks that are that fantastic, it's definitely a place to visit over and over again.

    yuzu matcha and breakfast sandwich
    Angel L.

I got the yuzu matcha and breakfast sandwich! I liked the yuzu matcha a lot! Both flavors were present, and neither one overpowered the other. The sandwich was pretty decent, but nothing too special. There's a decent amount of seating and the playlist was great. It is a little expensive for the serving size, especially the tiny drink, but it was definitely worth trying.

Employees are not very friendly, and my latte was overly milky. The ambiance is cool but would be better with a friendlier atmosphere.

Ask the Community - Bitter Sweet

Are there outlets available for customers?

    Yes! But not a lot...

    When are the busy hours?

I don't go during the weekdays. But it is decently busy in the afternoon and early evening on weekends.

    Are there lots of outlets?

I believe there is an outlet in the couch area. There is one outlet at another corner where all the tables are with a power strip. I suggest bringing your own extension if possible too in case your seat is too far from the power strip.

Is there a huge comfy couch in this coffe shop?

    Yes they do.

The only critique I have is the music being way too loud at times. It's NOT what type of music is playing, but purely the volume. When it's loud, people talk louder and it can occasionally be a little too loud to focus without headphones. Otherwise, I think I've found my new fav local coffee shop!

It wasn't crazy busy so it was easy to order through one of their two tablets and find a spot to sit. It is very spacious and filled with many tables, so even when busy you'll likely be able to find a spot. The menu is a bit messy to look at--there is a big menu hanging over the kiosks, another posted alongside where a line is formed, then the menu on the tablet kiosks themselves. It's a pretty big menu featuring primarily coffee-based drinks, matcha lattes, and a wide variety of food, so you'll likely find something appealing. I ordered their smoked salmon bagel (which rang up to about $16) and their matcha latte ($8); to be honest, neither were outstanding. The salmon and avocado in the bagel were great, but the bagel itself was a bit stale--for $16, it's a bit hard to swallow. The matcha was very milky, and there is another store offering better matcha drinks in the same plaza. I'll admit, though, it's a little on me for not picking coffee at a spot with "coffee" in the name. I will say, though, that the atmosphere in the main area is pretty good; the decor is understated but comfortable, and the lighting is good. The service is also solid--the servers are friendly and our order came out quickly. I will say that the bathroom feels ominous. Overall, it's a great spot to study; Big Mug is open late, has free Wi-Fi and a bathroom for customers, and offers both food and caffeinated drinks for longer study sessions. I feel that the prices vary widely for items but skew towards being too pricy for the quality, at least from my limited experience. I plan on coming back to give other items a try, but for now, it's not a favorite.

It was near 5pm. I walked in and the place was empty. The gentleman behind the counter greeted me. I asked for a strawberry smoothie, then walked around to survey all the baked goods. It's a small bakery with lots of trays of individually packaged cakes and pastries. The smell was very pleasant and comforting. Using a flat basket (or tray) I grabbed a few selections. I picked 2 "Heart Pies" that resembled my favorite French Butterfly Cookies. Also 2 pound cakes. The total rang up to just over $21. There's some small tables for enjoying your purchases there, but I took my items to go. The icy cold fruit smoothie was very good and very cold! Not too sweet, it had a natural strawberry taste. The Heart Pies were good and fresh. But the Pound Cakes were probably "day old." I noticed there's no dates or "best by" tags on the packages. It's a nice place to visit, and I will return again. Free parking in plaza lot.

It's hidden gem off El Camino and near Lawrence Expressway where those that know good Korean baking have this spot on their short list of preferred places. I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled pick up time and Korean grandma behind the counter was super pro, teaching me how to confirm check in and gave me a mixed bag of baked goods with/without fillings. If you like surprises, are omnivore & no special diets or food allergies, Too Good To Go is the way to explore. The items were in generic packaging without labels, so take a pic of the items you like so can order when visit next time. While my family enjoyed all the items, I really enjoyed the black sesame studded puffy rolls that I think were made with rice flour. There was a large group of older Asian ladies, including one who brought their lap dog, enjoying good conversations in their native language with their baked goods and tea or coffee. Another gentleman was taking a video call to help decide the best cake to buy. Will add this bake shop for a place to have a coffee meeting and to favorite in Too Good To Go.

We didn't go overly sweet because it was the morning, but I would love to come back in the afternoon to have a nice sweet treat and a cappuccino. For my family of three we definitely got over excited in order too much, but each bite was delicious. We got a leek quiche, a banana latte, spinach, artichoke danish, mango croissant, almond croissant, and a ham and cheese croissant. I was trying to increase the protein to not spike my blood sugar. Lol. I'd have to say the mango and the almond croissant were probably my favorite. The strong second would definitely be the artichoke and spinach croissant danish thing. Sorry, I forgot what they called it. They offered to heat it up a bit and I definitely recommend this. They did the perfect temperature for the perfect timing. Just enough to make the outside flaky and the inside warm and soft. The pieces that had cheeses were so much better warmed up. They definitely know what they're doing there. Seating was great. I'd love the decor. You can also order off of a menu, but we were too enamored with the actual pastries to even glance at it. I took photos but made sure to not take photos of the staff. I let the staff know that I wouldn't include their faces without their permission. they were very friendly and very appreciative.
