The butterscotch latte had the perfect amount of sweetness and a subtle taste of butterscotch which was great.
I appreciate the interesting and unique flavors flavors offered. The butterscotch latte with oatmeal is my go to! Not too sweet. I tried the Grape Milk Matcha. Grape flavor is underappeeciated! Mixing grape flavor with matcha is a very interesting mix! The grape does not over power the matcha. It was good, but can't go wrong with the Butterscotch Latte!
Good coffee, cute shop, chill vibes. The parking was a little weird because I think Dr. Ink officially has like two parking spaces available for customers?
First time here. We tried the matcha yuzu, coconut latte, and dark chocolate. They also had a blueberry. There were four employees all ready to go! We liked our drinks. This is the old T-pumps location. It's much nicer inside and it has seating now. But there's very little parking. They turned some of the street parking to red zones. It was a Sunday so we were able to park in the Apple lot with no problems.
Every place I settle down in, I try a lot of coffee (at least since I've been in my 20s). Among all the places, some become regular joints. And one becomes my go-to. It could be the coffee, or the vibe, or the people that work there, or a combination of any of these. Dr. Ink is quickly becoming one of those spots for me. The coffee is spectacular with a wide variety of options beyond regular espresso (the coconut latte is amazing). I can't not order the everything pull apart bread anytime I see it. It can get crowded on the weekends but service is fast. If you can find a spot, you can sit there for as long as you want, and do whatever you're trying to do. The people who work there are super nice as well. Also, is this a wordplay on Drink, and am I supposed to say Drink or Dr. Ink? Please enlighten me, because I've had a heated debate with someone (I'm team Ink).
Omg I'm so happy they opened a location in Cupertino so I don't need to drive all the way to downtown SJ! I usually don't drink coffee, but I was very intrigued about the osmanthus latte so I had to give that a try. It was really good! I loved how floral and fragrant the osmanthus flavor made the coffee so the coffee wasn't bitter! I'd definitely get this again :) I wish they created a matcha version too! Interior was clean and minimalistic. They have some tables but not a lot. I want to come back to try other options!

Topped with crunchy peanut butter cereal, it tastes like a liquified peanut butter cookie in an elevated way. Love that it's not too sweet and you offer decaf! And it's already gone?! I know it's a seasonal item but PLEAAAASSSSE consider putting it on your regular menu. Because I'm obsessed! I'm not an influencer so I can use annoying hyperbolic phrases like that. O T H E R I N F O * Second location in the South Bay that took over Lilikoi. * Dr.Ink's specialties: Craft coffee w/ cream tops, matcha, and tea. No boba. -- Decaf available. Soy or oat milk available for 50 cents upcharge. * Online ordering available. First I gotta say that Dr Ink is such a genius name for a cafe!! I wish we lived closer because this is such a cozy little cafe with solid drinks. They have a great selection of seasonal drinks and had a good selection in their regular menu. We ordered the rose latte (seasonal) and the matcha yuzu. They both were well balanced. I was able to taste their respective flavors without it overpowering the underlying espresso and matcha.
Dr. ink was really cute. The interior was clean and comfortable, however getting a table here might require you to pull up before 11am lol. The parking is in the back but very limited so keep that in mind. They pre batched their matcha and keep it on ice to preserve the flavor, and it's not on the sweet side. If you're looking for a dessert matcha look elsewhere. I liked my latte it was more on the umami side, and I kind of wished I got an iced coffee instead since they have a nice selection of lattes. Very minimalist vibes in this coffee bar. Baristas are attentive and refilling water for customers. If you order online you have to go to the bar and get your order which I like that they don't just leave it sitting at the bar for someone to snatch up.

We ended up parked at next building. It has good amount of seating area. There are plenty coffee tea options with some seasonal latte menu. The pastries option is limited. We ordered dark chocolate, osmanthus latte, pistachio latte, and yuzu matcha. The worker who took our order was nice. Our order was ready pretty quickly. We also ordered almond croissant and chocolate Frangi twist. The coffee and pastries are good. I like the osmanthus latte and pistachio latte as they are unique and refreshing. Priewise they are reasonable.
A new Dr Ink location!! This location long ago used to be a tpumps shop, then another boba place took over , fast forward to now a Dr Ink coffee shop! The cream tops they make for their coffees are delicious!! I had ordered the peanut butter latte and it was very tasty the coffee didn't overpower the peanut butter taste nor did the peanut butter taste overpower the coffee. Very well balanced! There is parking in the back of the plaza but very limited so just be cautious about that. The ambiance inside this shop was very quiet and study friendly. They do have plenty of tables and seats so do not worry if you're coming with a group:) The only negative thing about this shop to me is the sun does hit it directly during the day so its really warm inside, and knowing summer is coming soon for me I think its best to order that latte to go !!

Dr Ink is a chain coffee shop in the NorCal Bay Area. A clean coffee shop with sufficient indoor seatings for those who want to work while enjoying their coffee or beverage(s). Staff were prompt in making the drinks. 1. Matcha Yuzu (5/5) Matcha with yuzu puree over tonic water. This is the perfect refreshing drink on a hot day. You get the carbonated fizz from the tonic water, the rich, yet smooth earthy matcha flavor and the slight sweetness and citrus notes from the yuzu puree. 2. Ube Cloud Cold Brew (5/5) Dr Ink has made ube right. I like ube and taro flavor but a lot of times, they mKe it too sweet. Here at Dr Ink, their Ube is flavorful yet not too sweet. The cloud was foamy and creamy. The cold brew was smooth and bold, not acidic or flat. I devoured this drink in less than 2 minutes. The only thing I wish they would change is the amount of ice they add. The cup was 2/3rds ice, which made me feel like I did not get a good value for my drink. Flavor wise, they nailed it. read more

I forgot how I found this place, but it's new so here I am. It is taking over the old T Pumps location so parking is limited unless it's the weekend and the other businesses are closed/open later. Inside is simple with a simple sand tone vibe with the tan/orange. There is about 20ish seats with a couple of tables. Staff is friendly. Waited ~10-15 minutes for the drinks, but it was a little busy. Onto the drinks. They have a seasonal chocolate strawberry drink which isn't found elsewhere nearby and I can only speak on that, considering that's all my party tried. This drink is dangerous. It's like an actual chocolate strawberry in a cup, the only this is that it doesn't feel like a coffee drink with 2 shots of espresso. Could I drink multiple of them in a day? Yes, probably. Should I? No, because that would be a lot of coffee. Think about a dark chocolate mocha but with strawberry inclusions and puree. The darkness is sweet with the strawberry, but it's not an overpowering sweet from a normal latte drink because it's dark chocolate. Honestly, there isn't a strong coffee flavor due to that but I have no complaints because the drink was very enjoyable, like a dessert, but in the morning. Another comparison of a dangerous drink would be like the banana latte from Acadamic Coffee, it's so good that half the drink is gone in a minute. Overall, go checkout the seasonal drink while it's there because it's worth it. That is if you're a chocolate strawberry lover! read more
Service was perfect and drinks came out fast but tasted amazing! We got the black sesame latte and pistachio latte? FYI, Black sesame latte can only be iced (I was told hot is not available). But I think it's still worth it. Not too sweet and not burnt at all, I was a bit worried about how the bitterness of two shots would taste but it was a good blend. Not overpowering at all! The interior is very pretty and there is a good amount of seating. Their menu is also very unique, so I'm excited to try more drinks. I always go for a matcha latte. It comes unsweetened but you can add sweetener like honey or syrup. Honestly, no critiques. The matcha color is perfect, just like the floral taste. I hope they can add some additional matcha drinks to the menu. I also tried a little of the early grey latte. I can definitely tell that they use quality beans for their espresso. I thought the drink had a perfect balance of sweet and coffee. Typically I find most cafes butcher the earl grey syrup so I'm thrilled to find a new place. If you want to check out a new cafe, I recommend giving Dr. Ink a try! read more
I tried Dr. Ink and although they had a very limited matcha menu, the matcha I tried was good! The matcha flavor was strong and it was not too sweet, I like how they keep their menu simple however each drink lives up to its price and quality. I will come back! read more
I haven't been to the San Jose location, so this is my first time trying this cafe out. First impression: the ambience was relaxing, nice natural lighting, and very minimal inside. It's a nice place to catch up with friends, do some studying, etc. There's not that many tables inside, but there are some tables outside. One thing to note is that parking can be VERY difficult since the location is shared with other establishments and across are townhomes. I ordered the black sesame latte and a chocolate croissant (not pictured). The croissant was very flaky! It's definitely best right after they warm it up for you. The drink was pretty good. It has a good amount of black sesame flavor, but I forgot to take a straw because most of the black sesame is gathered at the bottom, so I couldn't get a FULL taste. Other than that, I like it! Staff were very friendly! I would come back again and try their seasonal items next time :) read more

The hint of earl grey and bitterness of coffee surprisingly blend well together. Their location in Cupertino was far cozier than SJ location. Plenty of parkings! Definitely more of a coffee place than a matcha place. The matcha though was rich and a deep earthy flavor so they are using good quality stuff. The coffee was pretty sweet but not too overpowering given it was chocolate strawberry. The flavor was on point and could taste all of it. There is seating inside for probably 30 folks or less. The drinks came out in a timely manner but. Over all great time. read more
Love this new location of Dr.Ink. The interior is cozy with limited tables, but modern and clean. Wifi is also pretty fast, good for a WFH spot. The drinks are all really unique and on the pricier side, I ordered the black sesame iced latte and it was o k (will probably order something else next time), and the seasonal pistacio latte which was pretty delicious. Drinks came out fast, would visit again if I'm craving more specialty lattes! read more

Dr Ink has some solid drinks - including one of the best earl gray lattes I have had! They do a double shot espresso and you can easily taste both the coffee and the fragrant earl gray. Make sure to also check out their seasonal specials - I quite liked their Chocolate Strawberry drink as well (also double espresso). There's a good amount of tables inside but it does get loud so bring your favorite pair of noise canceling headphones. read more

Drink is okay.. service was great and so was the location. Lots of people were in there studying/doing work. It was kept super clean but parking is a little further away you have to park side or back of building because it's facing the street. Pastries were good too, I don't think I would come back. read more
Stopped by Dr. Ink in Cupertino on a cold Sunday morning and tried their cappuccino. They seem to be in a soft opening phase, but the coffee was comforting and well made, exactly what you want on a chilly day. The space feels calm and welcoming, and it's nice to see a new spot coming together. The service was quick and the space was nice. Came in on Presidents' Day, and it was a quiet but rainy afternoon. My husband and I love visiting places with specialty lattes and good quality Matcha if we're going to go out for our caffeine fix. We walked in and it was a very simple, clean, minimalist design. There is some seating and they were quite a few folks working there. The staff immediately greeted us and the young man who rang us up was very helpful. I ended up ordering the seasonal peanut butter latte as per his recommendation, and my husband got Matcha. We could see them preparing our drinks including hand whisking our Matcha. Both were absolutely delicious and I'm already looking forward to coming back to get that peanut butter latte again while it's available! read more

Came here on a Sunday morning. Got the butterscotch latte. Lightly sweet and definitely very dessert like, not super coffee forward. Good if that's your thing. Also tried the sticky cinnamon bun. Nice flavor, but more flaky than actually sticky. The space is minimal and cozy, though seating is tight and fills up fast. Parking is horrible in this location, had to park on the street a bit far away, or you would have to take the risk of parking in the Apple office parking lot. I'd come back to try their different flavors. read more
WHOO HOO! I'm SO EXCITED they are now in Cupertino. I've been to their SJ location close to San Pedro SQ but it's a drive to just get a drink. Now with them so close I have NO EXCUSE but to keep coming here. Their drinks are so good. I've had their black sesame latte at the SJ location so this time I got the Pistachio Latte (cold with almond milk). It was so good and refreshing. Though the cream was a bit thick - I'm wondering if I got it hot if it would be a bit different. Hubby got the Osmanthus Latte (hot with almond milk) and downed his right away. I wanted to try their holiday specials first and THEN I'd go back to the regular menu - I'm dying to try their dark chocolate latte and orange brew so definitely need to go back. They were also having a special with their pastries half off (probably cause we were there 30 mins before they were closing). We got their almond croissant - warmed and MY OH MY... it's actually one of the BEST almond croissants I've EVERY had... and I've tried many from many bakeries - as far as to SF and even in Hawaii... and theirs is the best - I need to find out where they get it from - so many toasted almonds and not too buttery and oily. The ONLY negative is their location - parking there is pretty much limited and nearly non existent. Not sure where people would park. There's only 2 dr. ink designated parking spaces and NO spaces down the block or on Stevens Creek. I guess you can go across the street somewhere? But kitty corner is Sweet Maple which has their parking challenges as well. SO we definitely will only come during off times. WELCOME dr. ink to Cupertino! Am so THRILLED you are here!! read more
Some of the best lattes I've had in awhile. The pistachio is a bit expensive but it's delicious. The sesame latte isn't too sweet. The location is decent and has a lot of seating for a cafe. The service was perfect and they didn't rush us. read more
Stopped by Dr. Ink on a weekend for an afternoon coffee fix. I ordered the seasonal earl gray latte and I think I found my favorite drink. Hoping it stays on the menu forever. It's the perfect blend of tea flavor and coffee. Drinks came out pretty fast too considering it was soft opening hours. The new space is also nice and has a ton of sunlight with a good amount of tables. I'd definitely come back to this location. read more
My husband and I went to the Dr Ink in downtown SJ a few times before, but we stopped going since it was a little inconvenient. We love that we can visit them in Cupertino now! Their pistachio latte is what I got this time and it had such a smooth natural pistachio flavor to the coffee. My husband mentioned he enjoyed their cappuccino as well. Parking is a little strange since you park adjacent to the little strip mall facing the street. read more
If I could give it a 10 I would ! I had a Butterscotch Latte Iced. It was so good it had the Butterscotch cold foam and it was just the right sweetness. It was beautifully made watching them as a team making the drinks. They actually put love into making them. I can't wait to try the tea! It has 8 tables and is light and airy feel very calming I guess I'm trying to say. The people who work here are very kind and helpful. Thank you for starting my day on a positive note! read more

new and smaller location of dr ink in cupertino! it was quite crowded and hard to find seats on a saturday afternoon. i liked my latte and the sesame cream top separately, i feel like having them in one drink did not enhance the experience so i was a bit disappointed by that. sparkling matcha yuzu was not it, wasn't refreshing enough but also not enough matcha somehow.... read more
