I paid for a small cappuccino (8oz) + one fancier beverage for my girlfriend and was charged... $16!! This is a wild price, actually pushing the boundary forward in an already inflated economy. Capitulating to this is only making things worse. At this point (say June '26) $12-13 for a fancy beverage and regular cap is acceptable, still high. This price is a scam that they justify due to the shop's proximity to apartment complexes and the train station. Do better read more

Coffee was solid. Tried the cold brew. Coworkers got the rose, pistachio mocha and a latte. They loved them. Food looked amazing. Would definitely go back. In a really cool location tucked into a hotel. It was a little hidden. The map feature on yelp pointed us to the wrong place so we had to find it. read more

I've tried the Coffeebar location in Redwood City before and thought it was alright, and I don't think this location stood out that much to me either. Parking is difficult and limited when busy (especially since it's right to Caltrain stop). I got the hot matcha latte which was not bad but nothing special. Definitely more on the grainy side. I also found a prong from the bamboo whisk they use to whisk matcha at the bottom of my matcha latte (see pic). Wasn't upset about it though and thought it was a silly little accident. Not my drinks but tried some of the yuzu caramel latte and marzipan latte which were seasonal and just ok to me as well. The yuzu in the yuzu caramel latte was so strong and sour that it overpowered the drink and I couldn't taste anything except the sourness. The marzipan latte just tasted like a regular latte. This cafe is located on the bottom floor of an apartment building, so parking can be a little limited. I had to park down the street and walk over. Aside from that, it is such a cute and cozy spot. There is plenty of sunshine and lots of seating, including really comfy plush couches that are great for studying or hanging out. The space is very aesthetically pleasing and feels like the perfect place to cozy up with a book. It also feels very LGBTQIA friendly, which I love. There's a parking garage available, though it was full when we visited, so we parked on the street. The ambiance is cozy yet classy, with high ceilings and lots of natural light. It's a comfortable spot to get some work done, and they offer free Wi-Fi - just note there are only a few outlets, so come with your devices charged. We tried two of their seasonal drinks: the Banana Bread Latte and the Rosemary Matcha Latte. Both were super unique and delicious, and we loved that they make their syrups in-house! This is probably one of the fanciest/most decorated inside of the Coffeebars that I've been to. I got the banana bread latte which is a seasonal drink, and my partner got the peppermint mocha. We both liked our respective drinks more, but I thought both drinks were solid! I think they are a little on the sweeter side, but as someone who likes things "not too sweet" I thought the overall flavors complement the fragrance from the espresso very well. There is parking for coffeebar underneath the apartment building, although it's pretty limited. There is street parking as well! I like how they decorated for the holidays. First time and would have never know this existed without someone telling me. It's on the south side of the Caltrain tracks in the corner of the residential complex. Came for lunch and ordered a salad and seasonal coffee. The salad was tasty and the mocha with orange syrup was quite good as well. It blends into the luxury apartments ($3500-$7000+ per month rent) and luxury Toll Brothers development in this neighborhood. Public parking is tight and limited inside the retail parking garage, but there's free parking on back streets and side streets by Caltrain area if you can find one. It was easier parking near luxury apartments though. Staffs/employees are friendly and casual. Unique, high ceilings, spacious, well decorated with modern furnishings, clean, and positive environment inside. Quiet and good for work or study during morning hours. You can sit outdoors too and look at the busy Caltrain riders walking around. Residents living in the luxury complexes visit often. It's the type of cafe that you would most likely find in San Francisco or big cities, but so far so good in Sunnyvale. Modern architecture. Yes, foods, pastries, and beverages are on the higher price points. Comfortable tables and chairs can accommodate large groups too. I had the hot cup small vanilla latte, medium 12 oz. hot cup hot chocolate, and tried the veggie breakfast burrito (sliced into two pieces). All tasted as good as it looks. Pick up your own dishes/cups/trash. There's not much direct service unless you are dining inside with hot foods carried to the table. Tipping should be optional. You're cleaning up/picking up after yourself here, even over the counter grabbing your own drinks. I just wish they had a larger public parking garage instead of sharing with the luxury apartments. My friend lives in the Hartwood apartment complex which is connected to Coffeebar. The modern interior and unique drink selection is what brought me in though. The mimosa was topped off with fresh pulpy orange juice, which was delicious. Tasted like fresh orange juice. I opted for the "day old" pastries which looked just as good as the regular ones, and I was right! Just $2 each instead of $6 for a fresh croissant. The pastries taste regular, like they were bought from costco, but nonetheless still delicious with the Ube Latte I ordered. Just the right combo of both flavors. Got to try the Lavender Tea Latte and that one should be my go to during chilly weather. They have huge pastries -- croissants, muffins, and cookies. The croissant The avocado toast was more elaborate than other ones I've tried, and the avocado is mashed and has good flavors/ seasoning. Service was fast. They have a good number of staff. There's a train nearby and a few unhoused people outside, but once you step in, it's a completely different atmosphere. Inside? Immaculate vibes. The matcha was really good. Slightly sweetened (I forgot to ask for no sweetener -- I've gotten out of the habit because most places don't add it anymore), but honestly? Even sweetened, it was delicious. I'd order it again -- maybe sometimes sweetened, sometimes not. No long wait time. Cute signage everywhere. Super chill energy. Almost everyone was sitting there working, which makes it the ideal spot if you want to work without feeling awkward or rushed. They also had the sweetest touch: offering day-old pastries at a lower price instead of tossing them. Sustainable and charming. My girlfriend recommended this coffee place to me since it was pretty close to my parents and I'm glad she did because this cafe is absolutely beautiful. If you're coming around lunch time, you'll probably be out of luck getting a parking spot right out in front. Luckily they have a retail parking tucked right behind the cafe. Very spacious and you actually enter via the apartment lobby from there which extends into the cafe. It's separated by a metal fence in a barn door opening mechanism. My girlfriend had gotten the Tiramisu Latte since it was around the holidays at the time, but this time around they didn't have it so I opted for the Chai Latte and it wasn't my typical cup of chai but it was a warm drink that I needed. I had just made lunch and ate at home before I headed here but do want to try their burritos one day as my girlfriend also mentioned it was good. As for service, I wish they had recommended something or asked if I had anything in mind. They have menu's only at the cashier, no TV's hanging over head or physical menus hung up. Then once your orders place they have a pick up area that also has water cups to balance the coffee and other condiments you'd need. Lastly, this place is a buss your own table when you're done and place the ceramic wear in proper bins. The chicken salad was fresh and plentiful on sprouted wheat bread, loaded with chicken chunks, grapes, celery, onions, and a creamy dressing. Pricey at $18.50 though. My husband and I visited CafeeBar in Sunnyvale and were assisted by the manager, Ruben Baroman. From the very beginning, his attitude toward us was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I initially tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it quickly became clear that his behavior toward us was noticeably different from how he treated other customers. When I calmly asked if there was a reason for his tone, he immediately became defensive, raised his voice, and denied any wrongdoing. When I asked if he was the owner, he stated he was the manager and told me that if I felt he was being rude, that was "my problem." That response, combined with his behavior throughout the interaction, felt discriminatory and completely inappropriate. The situation escalated further when we requested a refund due to how we were treated. He agreed and had us provide our email, giving us the impression that a refund would be processed. However, after leaving, we discovered that instead of issuing a refund, he sent us an e-gift card without clearly disclosing it. This was misleading and felt intentionally deceptive. Being treated with disrespect is one thing. Being misled about a refund on top of that is unacceptable. A manager represents the business, and this experience reflects very poorly on Cafe Bar. Customers should not be spoken to this way, made to feel unwelcome, or deceived. Truly disappointed by this business . read more
