Pretty good overall and definitely worth the hype which is why I go back from time to time. There is a long wait but if you plan ahead it works out well in the app. I get the Mango boom its pretty bomb the kale is great too. The staff are very quick to make the drinks despite the massive volume. The location gets crowded but there is plenty of places to sit and wait or even enjoy. The atmosphere is always a calm chaos.
Heytea is clearly one of the most popular boba shops around. The interior is clean and minimal, and it was packed with Gen Z customers when we visited. One thing that caught me off guard was the ordering process. There isn't a large menu displayed behind the counter--just a menu next to the self-order kiosks. Since it was our first visit, it took us a while to decide what to order. Thankfully there were two kiosks, so we didn't hold up the line too much. I ordered the Mango Grapefruit Boom. It was refreshing, fruity, and perfect for a warm day, though I wish the grapefruit flavor had been a little more pronounced. My friend got the Brown Sugar Boba, and the creamy foam on top was the highlight. Both drinks were noticeably less sweet than the typical boba shop, which we really appreciated.

I arrive and was quite confused as to why they werent lidded and not in a bag. I asked for lids and a bag and they slowly made their way over. They seemed to be very confused as to why I was asking those things when I had requested them to go in the app. Anywho, the not a margarita had a bunch of syrups in it and tasted all right. It was extremely sweet and not my cup of tea. I would not get this drink again.

I got my usual, Coconut Mango Boom: freshly cut mango blended with coconut milk, complimented by freshly cooked handcrafted sago and coconut jelly (4/5). Ah, refreshing as always. The service was fairly quick here, which was uncommon. LOL.

That said, the boba here is absolutely worth it. The drinks are flavorful, refreshing, and consistently good. The ambience is also incredibly cute and inviting, with a fun vibe that makes the place feel lively and trendy. Even with the crowds, it's still a spot I'd happily come back to for another drink.

First time trying this boba shop! I really wanted the Mulberry, but I think it's seasonal since they had a grape special instead. I went with the mango and it was delicious! They are also well staffed and the drinks come out quick!
I got the mango coconut blue without sago since i dont like sago. The drink at first sips without stirring was good and the mango/coconut pudding was very flavorful. However when i mixed the blue thing with the mango liquid, it turned so tasteless and felt like i just wasted 9 dollars on this drink. Not only did it taste like nothing, but it was also a flavor that didnt even taste edible, just some kind of mango skin stock or something i dont even know. Dont get this drink.
I had a much better experience this time. I ordered online and got my drink after shopping at Trader Joe for about 15 minutes. The store is nice and clean. Service was fine this time with no BOGO free offer lol, so it wasn't crowded. My friend and I sat outside and enjoyed our drink. A perfect sunny day to sip my pistachio coconut jasmine tea drink before headed back to work. I was able to come get a drink and pick up lunch all within one hour to make it back to work for a meeting. Happy customer.
Seasonal guava drinks are on point! The King jasmine guava and guava green grape drinks offer a spin on some of their delicious grape and jasmine staples. Go get yours.
Visiting from out of town and first time trying Heytea. Got Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk and Mango Grapefruit Boom. Everything was fresh and tasty!! The "bobo" (as opposed to "boba") was delicious! It was sooooooooo busy!! They were cranking so many drinks out! Looked like you could order ahead or at the kiosk. It was bright and lively in the place. Even the drink carrier is well thought out. A cool looking paper bag with a folded drink holder placed inside it so it doesn't fall over. Genius. There are tons of boba places everywhere. I don't know how they all survive, but this one definitely doesn't look like it's struggling. Would definitely come back!
Bright and flavorful drinks. The mango grapefruit boom is like a dessert in a cup, with sago and coconut milk jelly. Lots of ingredients. The fruits are delicious, especially the mango bits. Refreshing and creamy. Their cloud longjing milk tea is also really good, deep flavor in the milk tea and paired with a creamy matcha cloud. The flavors blended well together. For toppings, their boba is nice and chewy. The cheese foam is smooth and rich. The packaging is good as well, the bags hold the drinks very safely and are great for reusing. Whether you get milk tea or the fruit tea from here, I think they're both excellent choices. Some fruit teas run kinda sweet though, and some milk teas I find to be lighter in taste. (I wasn't a huge fan of the king jasmine or the grapefruit boom).
Came to this location because both the cupertino and san jose locations ran out of the world cup magnets on monday afternoon. Line wasn't too long tbh, but it took an hour to order and get drinks in total. We were so lucky to get the USA and secret edition magnets (the ones I really wanted!). I got the mango grapefruit boom and I loved the mango and grapefruit. I wish you could do no coconut. Beautiful interior with a good amount of seating :) read more

I regularly order the Kale Boost Tea because I consider it a healthy and refreshing choice. I've purchased it many times from this Sunnyvale location, and in the past, it was always fresh and had a nice green color. However, during my last few visits, I noticed that the drink had started turning yellow instead of green, and the taste clearly seemed less fresh. Today I ordered it again, it was turning yellow and tasted not fresh, It makes me wonder if it was prepared in the morning and left sitting until around 3 PM. I hope the manager can pay more attention to freshness and preparation times, because this used to be one of my favorite healthy drinks. I would really appreciate it if they could maintain the same fresh quality as before. read more

I have been to a few various HeyTeas and man I love their consistency across all their locations. This one is located in a sort of strip mall kind of feel, with parking being ample or tough. I ordered via the app and the wait was about 40 minutes (peak time) I have tried their other drinks before but my favorite had to be the Kale Boost Tea. Kale Boost Tea: This feels like I am eating a popsicle. I swear it's the grape fruit flavor that is giving that nostalgic flavor and the chia seeds add that nice texture for a drink. It was not overtly sweet and the amount of ice is fair for a drink. I can see the hype for this drink and I cannot stress a better tasting tea drink than this. And having kale makes it feel like I am making healthier choices. Overall, I can see myself coming back to HeyTea and ordering this drink from now on. read more

HeyTea makes the BEST mango coconut drink in my opinion. I didn't understand the hype until I tried that drink and it's all I ever want these days. Their flavor of their drinks are very consistent and it comes with a good amount of toppings every time. My husband likes matcha and he thinks their matcha drinks are pretty good as well. Lines are always long so I typically place an order through the app and by the time we get there, it's usually ready or just a few mins wait. read more
We've been on a mission to try hey tea after seeing the wild lines, wait and crazy high order numbers (70+ drinks in queue). Thankfully, we downloaded the app and got to order ahead plus get discounts. We ordered five drinks over two visits (figured this might be a one or two time try given it's out of the way and all the other things I mentioned previously). We tried the green grape, Cloud Crisp Grape, Matcha Cloud Coconut Blue, Supreme Matcha, Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea. I will say their bobo (boba) was five stars. It was warm and soft and fresh and great. I found all the drinks to be pretty sweet and rich. I felt a little bit limited by the menu and the toppings offer. I do appreciate the quality of their toppings but the tea drinks themselves were just ok and seem to be more of a dessert drink. We did mobile order and our drinks were ready when we arrived. The location was small, but very busy! It felt like I was in a bubble tea factory lol. Overall, I'm glad I experienced it, but I don't see myself going out of my way for heytea. I was in the area and it was a warm summer day and sugar and calories were not a consideration then I might try some of their fruity drinks. read more
Stopped by for the first time in awhile. Tried their new Jasmine Pistachio cloud matcha latte i think? I got it hot and it was delicious! The size is pretty big too. Wait wasnt too long and i like to sit on their bench in the busy ambiance. Love the plaza it's located in as it's right next to sweet greens and other spots like Trader Joes and Chipotle. read more
Came around lunch time and luckily this time the line isn't long. We got our drink pretty fast. Many people ordered the blue drink. We tried the Mango Coconut Blue and it's very good. The blue color doesn't taste like anything and it makes the drink looks cool. This place gets busy in the afternoon. Avoid the crowd and come early. read more
Hey Tea is consistently excellent across the Bay Area! I've visited three of their locations -- Cupertino, Milpitas, and Sunnyvale -- and each one delivers the same high-quality drinks and welcoming vibe. My favorites are the Mango Coconut Bloom and Triple Matcha, which taste just as good whether iced or warm. I recently tried mine warm with milk jelly instead of matcha jelly, and it was a cozy, delicious twist. Love the drink presentation and the staff are friendly. The Sunnyvale shop is especially convenient, right next to Trader Joe's and open until 10 PM, which makes it perfect for a late-night tea run. I also love how the fragrance of freshly brewed tea fills the store, adding to the whole experience. No matter which location you choose, Hey Tea makes bubble tea feel like a treat worth savoring. read more

Can't remember my life before HeyTea. The hype is real. This is their best location I. The bay with ample seating inside and outside the only caveat is the parking lot is crazy because they're next to a Trader Joe's. Gets really busy on the weekends if you're not there right when they open! I got the matcha coconut cloud and ordered on the app. Very seamless and the drink was made very quick. This might be controversial to some but you can't get your order unless you show the correct number either on the app or on the receipt! I kinda like that, no one is swiping my drink. Inside gives very boujeee and clean vibes haha, nice place to catch up with a friend. So far I have tried this and the Milpitas location and I have to say this one wins! read more
One of the best dessert drinks place . It is located closed by the Residence Inn by Marriott. Parking is usually tight cause many eateries around here . The fruit tea's quality is excellent. Our mango are so fresh like fresh from the tree . Another signature drink is the Mayberry boom . They have grapefruits, grapes and other drinks combination. I chose no sugar for my drink cause the mango and the grapefruit already have sugar. Highly recommended. Should order on line ahead of time and drive by to pick . If you walk in to order , it may take 20-30 minutes wait time . read more
Crowded on the weekend, but it was expected. The parking lot can get competitive since there are so many restaurants and trader joe's in the same plaza. I got the triple matcha supreme and it had a strong matcha flavor. I enjoyed the toppings in the drink as well as the matcha cream on top. read more
I got the triple Matcha latte, which is a Matcha latte a cheese foam on top and some Matcha toppings in it. I wish that the flavor of the matcha was a little bit stronger, since this was more of a sweet dessert drink than anything. Another problem that I had with ordering on their app was that you can't order ahead of time for a specific time. I ended up calling them and they said to order it and then put in the notes of your desired pick up time which I was a little concerned that that message wouldn't be reciprocated correctly, and it would be made immediately and sitting there. This could be adjusted improvement to their app and ordering system. read more
Finally checked this new hype bubble tea spot, interesting brand revival and repositioning in the US, as Heytea is nearly forgotten back in motherland having been overshadowed by too many other hypes over the last decade. Drinks: - Crisp Grape Boom: 5/5, I never get fruity drinks, and this pleasantly surprised me with its fresh asian grapes flavors rather than the artificial juice box I was expecting - Coconut Matcha Bobo: 5/5, great balanced coconut milk and matcha flavors, not sure what the mixed-in blue spirulina is supposed to taste like we'll see if it turns me into superwoman, perfectly soft and sweet tapioca balls - Triple Supreme Matcha Latte: 4.5/5, strong matcha flavors without being too bitter - Compostable straws 1/5, unnecessary cardboards that dampen the experience Spacious clean setting, line moved quickly, worth. Me & My Cousin Have Decided To Visit Heytea Last Saturday September 20,2025. Have Ordered A Triple Supreme Matcha Latte And Coconut Mango Bobo. The Drinks Were Really Refreshing And Suited For The Warm Weather That Time. Since Its Alot Of Customers We Have Paitiently Waited For Our Orders For 20 to 30 Minutes. So many of my friends keep gassing up the kale boost tea at heytea!! I've been wanting to try it for months but never did because I don't really like kale and I'm scared that I won't like it lol. But I finally tried it! Ordered: - Oat Black Tea Bobo: a black tea latte with oat milk tooped with coconut cloud foam. 0% sugar and no ice, removed bobo - Kale Boost Tea: jasmine tea base with mixed kale and fruits juice, 0% sugar and less ice. So the KALE BOOST...... is better than I expected??? But it's also not as good as everyone says it is LOL. Like it's drinkable and I don't hate it but I would likely not get it again bc the other drinks are better and if I'm getting heytea I want a bubbletea tasting drink. You can still slightly taste the bitterness of the kale but you get the sweetness from the apple juice and the lemon also adds refreshing citrus taste. Oh also I'm not the biggest fan of juice in general so. Yeah. But if you like juice then give it a try. I'm just glad I tried it so I can stop being curious about it The Oat black tea latte was more my style. Otherwise I usually like to get the jasmine latte or cloud coconut blue! read more

I first had this in New York and didn't think much of it. There was a bunch that popped up in the Bay Area and there was only a matter of time before I try it. This place is called Heytea because you just ain't ready for all this boba goodness! It's one of my top boba places in the South Bay due to convenience with online ordering and pickup, consistent quality, and straight up delicious flavor combinations. I have not had a bad or even average drink here. TOP DRINKS: *Triple Supreme Matcha Latte - Highly recommended for all matcha fiends. Great proportion of matcha and it comes with matcha jelly and matcha mochi. I usually order this with light ice, minimal sugar, and less mochi. I like to taste my matcha. *Mango Grapefruit Boom - Truly divine blend of coconut milk and mango jasmine tea slushie. Freshly cut mangos, grapefruit, and handcrafted sago. So good! I like how the Tip on the app says "Do not swallow in one gulp." I wouldn't want to do that anyway since I'd want to savor each sip. *Crisp Grape Boom - Fresh grapes and jasmine tea make for a very refreshing drink. This is summer in a cup. AMBIANCE: One 4-person table and a handful of small tables (and I mean really small). But a lot of people are picking up to go so won't stay too long. PARKING: This is my least favorite part of this location. The dreaded Trader Joe's parking lot filled with some questionable drivers. But just have some patience and let the craziness happen around you. TIP: I advise against finishing any of the drinks in one gulp. Each one is a work of art and should be appreciated. DATE TIP: Great spot to share a tiny table over some amazing refreshments. read more

My first time trying Heytea was in SoCal, so I was really ecstatic to see they are opening more locations in the Bay Area! I loved how the place had a lot of seating inside and outside! There was a lot of people and many orders on the counter, but many employees. It looked like a very thorough assembly line behind the counter, which I think helped shorten the wait times. For the drinks: The Kale Boost Tea with less sugar. It was perfection! The jasmine tea is super tasty in this drink! It sounds like it would be very vegetable heavy, but it is actually quite refreshing. Oh btw, this tea looks like it comes in a glass jar, but it's actually plastic. I was fooled :') Our second drink was the Triple Supreme Matcha Latte with 50% sugar. I recommend thoroughly mixing the 3 layers prior to drinking to get a good balance of sweetness. It was good, but I definitely enjoyed the Kale Boost Tea more. Both drinks were really delicious! So much so, that my bf and I debated on getting a 3rd drink! We knew it would be a bad decision, so we'll definitely have to come back again soon ;) read more
Heytea has been popping up with many locations all around the bay area as of recent. I was hoping that the hype would slowly die down, but it hasn't. But thank goodness for the app, which is a life saver for ordering in advanced and not having to wait in the massive queues. My first time I went to their location in Irvine and I got the Cloud Crisp Grape and it was KINDA MID. So, given that first experience not living up to the hype, I was quite skeptical of their other drinks. Thankfully, I made better decisions and ordered one of their best-selling drinks: the Cloud Mango! Yeah, I admit it was good! Would I wait 20+ minutes for it? Not entirely sure... but if I came in at a strategically off-hour, I would get it again. Beyond the drink, the interior of the tea shop was really clean, minimalistic, and modern. There were 4 small tables where I saw people studying. If you don't mind the random influx of people from time to time, then this would be a great place to be. Came here for Trader joes and saw that there wasn't any line to wait for. I was super excited to try their summer Coconut Mango Blue (In season) and it was super delicious. My Coconut Mango Blue: Slushie, Less Ice , Regular Sugar, Jasmine Green Tea. It's nice they gave you a feature on the app to make it caffeine - tea free. The Mango pieces are fresh and refreshing especially during the heat. Parking here is a bit difficult because it is in a plaza with a super market. So it's a bit smaller. But overall the drink was good and super nice to see that this location didn't have heavy lines compared to the Cupertino and Brokaw location. It's a great find! read more
I decided to come to Hey Tea because my friend recommended it after her trip to China this past summer. There were a few people in front of us, but it didn't take too long before our turn at the kiosk. Once we finished ordering, it took around 15 minutes to get our drinks since it was pretty busy that day. I noticed all the cups on the top shelf that they queued for orders, and it was a whole assembly line of coconut mango booms! Haha, I guess it was a really popular drink option! :) I personally love mango, so when I saw the coconut mango boom, it reminded me of mango sago. I went with the non-slushie version with minimal sugar. I love the fact that they provide a non-slushie option because I have sensitive teeth when it comes to anything that's ice cold. It was lightly sweet, and I typically go for 25% sweet for my drinks, so this was perfect for me. I could definitely taste the fresh mango in this drink, and I loved that I had bits of sago and coconut milk jelly in each sip I took. This Hey Tea is located in a plaza with a parking lot, but we came on a weekend, so it was definitely busier and harder to find parking. We had to go around in circles for a few minutes until we saw someone leave their parking spot. The interior of the place is so modern, sleek, and minimalistic. There was some seating off to the side. Whenever I visit, I will definitely come back :) read more

This location was surprisingly not as busy as expected on a Wednesday night. It tasted like Hui Lau Shan to me with adjustable sweetness and tea I could barely taste, but I could tell that the ingredients were of at least a decent quality. At this price point I would expect it to be life-changing, but they didn't even announce order numbers; we had to go and check it on our own, which was chaotic. Parking's not too bad in this lot, but it can be busy because of the Trader Joe's. read more
