Good location next to Starbird but I wasn't "wowed." I got the dragon matcha mochi rice drink and didn't like the texture. The service was also super slow and the tables/chairs were very uncomfortable. You might like this place if you like Molly Tea seemed very similar.
Came to Wow Tea after seeing it on instagram. It's located in a little business park so it was actually pretty easy to miss but I liked that there were a few parking spots dedicated to the lot which was convenient. Looking over the menu, I was really drawn to the orange jasmine tea since it was such a hot day. My friend loves peach so the peach milk tea really caught her eye and my other friend immediately took to sampling the gelato and reported back on the two that piqued her interest. Overall, I personally enjoyed my tea the most, it was refreshing and the tartness of the orange was actually quite enjoyable in contrast to the floral jasmine tea. For our other choices, the peach milk tea got a little heavy and the peach flavor wasn't quite as robust as we would have liked. The gelato also could have been much more tea forward but as is, the texture is actually really nice! I think we just expected a little more pop. Overall, Wow Tea is a nice addition to the Palo Alto area. Some of their combinations are quite unique and I could definitely see myself returning to try more! The interior is also super cute and quite welcoming to sit and catch up with friends.
Good tea in a convenient location. Lots of authentic Taiwanese/Chinese teas offered here including some fruit ones such as peach and lemon. My friend had one of the lemon teas and I enjoyed the dragonwell pistachio ice cream. The ice cream had good flavor and I liked being able to taste the tea flavor of the dragonwell in there. I just wished that for the price, the serving size could be a little bigger. It was a small cup leveled off flat. Free 2 hour working in the lot across the street.
A nice new tea spot to try out. There is street parking and a lot across from it. You order from a kiosk. The drinks were done pretty quickly and there's some good table seating inside. The drinks were good. Good flavor, great tea. Gotta come back to try the rice gelato next time!
New specialty tea house in Palo Alto. I saw this last week when I was at the area but didn't stop by. It is pretty good size for tea store. It was busy when we arrived. The store has plenty seating area. There's other store in Cupertino. You can order online or via the touch screen kiosk. My advise is to order online as it took a while to order using touch screen kiosk. They have tea drink and gelato. Only this location has gelato. For tea we ordered Wow Orange jasmine tea We order dragon well pistachio gelato snd Qilan o Oolong olive oil gelato. As it is busy store, it take a while for order to be ready. The tea was refreshing and the gelato was very unique as I never had these combination before. The gelato were not very sweet which is perfect. Overall the tea and gelato were good.
I really enjoyed their milk tea flavor. I did my hw (aka read through the yelp reviews of their other location), and ended up choosing lapsang souchang black milk tea. It was great - I should've chose a lower sugar level though since it was just slightly too sweet for me. Maybe 50% next time. I did like that they didn't give me too much ice. Price wise - I'd consider it a splurge, but I do think the taste is comparable with the other popular Chinese tea brands that are known for milk tea (Molly tea/ moon tea). We went through the parking lot entrance that led us straight to the underground garage, but I did notice that there were outdoor/ground floor parking lot right next to the store.
I've been going to the Cupertino location for a while, so I was really excited to try out this spot for the gelato! We got the Apple Qilan Oolong Tea Latte, Dragon Well Green Tea Latte, and White Peach Guan Yin Tea Latte. The fruit drinks both had good flavor, but the aftertaste, I was not a huge fan of. It felt like when someone where's too much perfume that it just lingers a little too long. The fruit aspect of the flavor tasted a bit "perfumy" for a lack of better words, so much so, you could still taste it even after drinking the Dragon Well. I really enjoyed the Dragon Well, probably one of the most fragrant and perfectly sweetened green teas I've had. We had light sugar and light ice on all of the drinks we got. The gelato we got the dragon well pistachio and sweet rice organic milk. The DW pistachio was super flavorful and I would get it again, the sweet rice was not my favorite. It didn't have a strong flavor and the rice texture was stiff yet chewy. But, both were flavorful and not overly sweet, so I appreciated that. There is a decent amount of space to sit down inside and outside. There was a slight wait, maybe 20min after ordering, and we went on a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of parking around, either on the street or in the lots.
Welcome to the area! The ordering experience is decent and the waitline is not too long. The flavor is consistently good like the Cupertino site. The interior design and atmosphere are so nice that I want to spend good weekend afternoon here.
Vibe is good, whites and big windows, fun chandelier from the ceiling. Ample seating and ample parking as well. Service was quick, but the main reason to come, the drinks, was decidedly average. The Fruit Qilan was not memorable, and friends who got other drinks were similarly unimpressed. I don't know how much of that is just because we're spoiled for choice with so much competition these days?

The olive oil gelato was nice but I couldn't detect the olive oil in the flavor profile. The sweet rice milk gelato was the softest of the three and had bits of rice in it. Because the gelato was so tasty, my partner and I ended up ordering another. You order at a kiosk and service is pretty fast. The environment is clean and minimalist and of a good ambiant temperature. If you happen to be in the area and love tea AND gelato, this is the place to go.
Wow Tea is busy and slow (see their digital waitlist), but once you get past that, the teas are pretty phenomenal. The apple oolong tea latte has me fantasizing about going back soon, it was not sweet but still flavorful.
Great spot - beautifully set up with awesome drinks. I just got an Ume drink from Cal Ave and then realized this was open and came by to compare. Got the Wow Orange Best Jasmine and loved it. So refreshing and you can really taste the tea. Also tried the gelato: pistachio and olive oil flavors, both were nice with a slight preference for the olive oil flavor. Will definitely be coming to this for my tea drinks if I am near Cal Ave. The process does take longer than typical boba places - my order took around 10 minutes but worth the wait. The board also is very informative of where in line your drink is and how many minutes is left so makes waiting easier.
Interesting different offerings, they have a mochi rice topping and mochi rice gelato. However, it took about 40 minutes to get our drinks.. very long and crowded. The mochi rice gelato is very nice- it's a sweet milk flavor with hard and chewy mochi rice inside. 4/5 Jasmine tea - fragrant jasmine with soft chewy and fresh tasting boba. 5/5 Oolong milk tea- rich, lingering taste complicated tea leaves. "light sugar" is perfectly sweet =50% sweet. 5/5 Matcha mochi cloud- rich matcha with drinkable mochi, it's like a soft runny mochi with bits of sweet rice. 4/5 too rich for me, and the drinkable mochi is novel but I may not order it again.
Wow Orange Best Jasmine FOR REAL... WOWZA! This was a completely new taste for me and it was so refreshing and perfectly sweetened. I was a bit worried it might be too sweet, but it was just right. Orange and jasmine tea together is such a unique combination, really brilliant idea. GREAT JOB WOW TEA! I would definitely come back for this. Fresh tea was okay, but it was a bit too bland for my taste. Gelatos I tried samples of the pistachio and sweet rice milk. The pistachio was 10/10. The sweet rice milk was not for me since I'm not a fan of rice in desserts, but it might be great for others. The interior is really nice, and the parking lot is available. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait a bit, but it moved pretty quickly. You can order via kiosk, and I also noticed many people were ordering online, which helped streamline the process. read more

There's a parking lot across the street. Inside is very spacious with plenty of seating. Compared to their Cupertino location, this place has only boba vs. more topping options. We came about 30 minutes before closing on a weekend, and they were winding down for sure. It is located close to downtown Palo Alto, and there is dedicated parking spots on site or on the street. There is a single kiosk to order, which could be an issue during peak times. We were here for the gelato, so we tried to order 2 half and half orders, but since they were close to closing, there wasn't a full half order of the pistachio flavor. We got to try the sweet rice, pistachio, olive oil, and the lime. The lime was too citrusy for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed the pistachio and sweet rice. The sweet rice actually has pieces of rice so there's an added texture component. It's a pretty cute and cozy interior space with some seating options. I'm glad I got to try it, but this place didn't really stand out for me to want to come again. read more

I passed this place on my walk down Sherman Ave earlier in the week and saw that inside decor and boxes were lined up by the window, plus some signage. I didn't have time to really pay attention to the name or even if there was an opening date. Today, I saw several people walking around with drinks with a blue sleeve. I remembered that this place had blue decor and I figured that it must be open now. My friend and I decided to check it out. Yes, its open! Well, they are in their soft opening stage. Certain drinks are 12% off. They have a screen on the left hand side where you can order. I'm thinking....and just a suggestion but maybe having another screen for people to place their order. This will be beneficial in the long run to avoid lines especially when they are in full open stage and with the summer approaching. The decor is simple, super clean and great little area to lounge while enjoying your sweets. I ordered the Wow Orange Best Jasmine with Boba. So good! and refreshing, especially on a hot day like today. Both the orange and the jasmine was not overwhelming. When I placed the order, I was able to choose the level of sweetness and the amount of ice that I wanted. Also, if i wanted to add on boba. You can become a member of their rewards program when you place your order. Their door entrance is more on the Sherman Ave side, right across from Starbird. I am soooo happy that there is another food/drink location in Palo Alto's Cal Ave. area. I wish them all the luck and hope that they can stay open for many, many years!! You can find street parking or there are lots nearby. They also have all gender restroom in the shop. read more

Okay I have been going here for a while now ever since they opened. I have tried almost all their drinks and my favorites are the wow best jasmine tea latte and the orange jasmine. Can't go wrong with either one. What I like about this place is the tea is freshly brewed and have a good caffeine content that's really strong. This is one of the better tea spots in the area to add to your tea spot rotation. read more
Stopped in for a little sweet treat after dinner. We tried their gelato, which comes in three flavors: dragon well pistachio, qilan olive oil, and sweet rice milk. Our favorite was the pistachio. The olive oil had a strong tea flavor from the qilan (oolong). Not too sweet, with a fluffy texture. Would love to come back to try their drinks sometime. read more

i love their place, quite unique. order through kiosk and they will let you know or call your name once the order is ready. the fruit infused qilan is great and refreshing but if i am not mistaken, it is only for limited time... i specifically choose or visit this store because they have sweet rice milk gelato that not sold in other wow shops. the taste of gelato is quite unique and the sweetness is just right ~ must try!!! read more
Tried the jasmine tea latte, osmanthus oolong tea latte, dragon well green tea latte, and apple qilan tea latte from here and liked the osmanthus oolong tea latte most for its floral aroma. Dragon well green tea latte has a strong tea taste without being too bitter/astringent. The jasmine tea latte is similar to Molly Tea's jasmine milk tea. Service can be slow, so recommend ordering ahead for pickup. read more
This is a very cute store that we have to give it a try. There are seating space if you want to hangout for a bit. Since we have already got drinks from another place, we decided to try their ice cream. We got 2 flavors in one cup. If I remember the flavors correctly. They are jasmine tea and earl grey tea. Both flavors are so strong and so good!!! Definitely will be back to try their drinks next time. read more

I ordered a iced jasmine tea latte with oat milk and it was so delicious. The store was quite busy but we got our drinks actually quite quick as you can easily order from the digital screen. The packaging for the drinks are sturdy and however a really nice design, there is a lot of seating and the store is very bright. read more
I got the dragon well mochi rice with matcha cloud drink. Not much of a cloud so not sure why they gave me a dome lid when there was no whipped cream or ice cream. It made it hard to mix the drink because the straw was too short. I took off the lid to mix but by then it had matcha and milk near the top of my straw so it was sticky... the mochi rice is kinda cool but man was it expensive like $9 it's also really loud inside but I guess that's to be expected when they have to make drinks. It's nice inside but some of the table choices is questionable because why is it so high for I would bring noise cancelling headphones if you want to work or study there. Bathroom is quite nice too hehe. I would just get tea next time or try the gelato. read more

If you're looking for a sleek spot to cool down, this new tea house is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. It's right next to Starbird Chicken and there's plenty of parking around. Their lemon teas are refreshing and I really like their dragon well pistachio gelato that has a bold tea flavor in it. read more
