Came here off the whim to try a new dessert spot and my friend recommended it to me! There are so many dessert options but I wasn't really sure what to order and what was good. I shortly realized that #2 was one of the more popular ones and all my friends got this and enjoyed it. It came with red beans, mung beans, taro, boba, pandan jelly, rainbow jellies and coconut milk. Had so much texture and was pretty good. What I personally got was their Bambu Special #1, I thought this was their signature drink but it was very unflavorful and not the best. I personally couldn't finish the drink. Side note that doesn't affect the review was that there decor was so random, it was a little bit of decor from all cultures in there lol.

I came here at night, and here's my experience: I ordered the Bambu Special, which came with coconut water, basil seeds, longan, pandan jelly, and coconut meat. It was a refreshing drink, not too sweet and very fresh. One downside is that the longan was super sweet, which didn't quite match the light taste of the coconut water. When I arrived, the shop wasn't too crowded. It was clean and cozy, though the decoration looked a bit messy. Shout-out to the cashier who kindly helped me split my cup into two. I'll definitely come back to try other desserts and leave another review!

I've been to a number of these bamboo restaurants, but never one down here in Sunnyvale. I always get their Pandan Waffle and usually #4 or #7, up in The City- but apparently here the number system is slightly different. Lol we got our Boba drinks rather quickly, which was great since we were thirsty, but the Pandan waffles took some time to make. The Pandan waffles were made fresh and literally so hot. They were burning my fingertips!! My friend got the strawberry bubble waffle and to her surprise her strawberries were frozen solid! Lol we joked how mine was so hot it literally burnt my fingertips and then hers was so frozen. It nearly cracked her tooth! As we enjoyed the warm climate on this Saturday evening, it was rather warm inside, but outside it was windy and cold. Sadly, my friend spilled her Taro Lover drink, and as we were finishing up, and both the employees that worked there couldn't figure out what to do to help us clean up. The majority of the drink spilled on my friend's shirt and dripped down to the ground. The employees didn't have any cleaning towels for us to use and clean up the mess or my friend's clothes and her sticky arm. The whole clean up situation was just awkward...... we ended up using a BUNCH of napkins and got napkins wet from the bathroom to clean up. Overall, I don't think I will get another Pandan waffle here again, but I'll probably get a drink as take out.

Randomly stopped by this place while we were in the area. It looked like there was some street parking outside. Plenty of seats and tables inside as well. They made the drinks pretty fast even when mine was a smoothie. -avocado smoothie: 3/5, I wish they used more avocados or ones that were more ripe. It was good but the avocado flavor wasn't super strong. It tasted like they might've used a lot of sugar to help the sweetness. Thai tea: 3/5, My boyfriend said it was good. It wasn't too sweet at all. It just didn't stand out. If we are in the area, I would def come in to grab a drink. I would explore their menu a bit more because they are known more for their dessert drinks.

I've patronized several Bambu locations and would share that the Sunnyvale location offers unique and cozy seating areas. On one end it felt like I was sitting under a pagoda. In the middle, there were counter top seating for individual experiences to work/study. On the opposite end was a sit-down gathering area that requests for shoe removal. The fun decor with lanterns, plants, neon light, and television playing calming new age music was inviting. I ordered the Bambu Special, Bambu Favorite and pandan waffle. All were delicious and delivers nostalgia of desserts I grew up with. I will definitely visit each time I'm back in the area again!

5 stars interior vibe but one star removed due to the traditional coffee has too much ice in it, I finished the coffee within one sip. The #1 che with basil seed is great as always

Cute store. It has been awhile since I have been back. They have a cute seating area in the back. I like it that the drinks are not too sweet. I tried the combo special, it was delicious and filling. I think that is my dinner for the night with the padan waffles. I come here from time to time when I want a Vietnamese snack or drink.

They have a wide variety of drinks! The shop is colorful and cute, with seating available inside. #6 I tried chè for the first time. It had a high ratio of fruit and toppings compared to the liquid, so it felt more like a dessert than a drink. The drink has a lot of different textures! Mangonada My husband went for the large size. The mango chunks were soft and fresh, making it a super refreshing drink. I wasn't too hungry when I visited, so I personally preferred the Mangonada over #6. Next time, I'll try something other than chè and see what else they have!

I think the only downside of this location is that the prices are a bit high. However, that is what you get around here in terms of prices so it is not entirely unreasonable. The main attraction of this location is its house prepared coconut milk/water. If you're looking for something less sweet, I'd recommend the special. The rest are a bit higher calorically, but they are definitely sweet treats that are hard to beat! Came in after dinner since we were around the area, and we were on the hunt for a sweet treat. I like their location down in SoCal too, so it's great to know that they are just as good up here! Great place to chill and talk as there is ample seating. There was probably only one person working the cash register and making the drinks, so it did admittedly take a while to get everyone's drinks, but that is very understandable. Very nice and clean location, so happy to come back again in the near future!

Cute interior, very relaxing... like it's saying "sit here and enjoy your drink"! Did not even get a chance to take a picture of the smashed , but it was really good. A little thick because of the avocado... but this is a testament they are using real ones and they added enough.

I usually visit on Saturdays during the farmers market, they seem to be slower w guests during that time, or less busy, I order my coffee or tea and they come out quickly! I usually get the Vietnamese traditional, but I've also enjoyed their passion fruit tea and the sparkling refresher. Lots of seating and a cute vibe. I enjoy how they've decorated for holidays like Christmas and lunar new year

Bambu is my go to place for Che if I am not in San Jose. I have been to other Bambu locations and they are similar to the other ones I have been to. The service here was friendly and the place was quiet when I came with my family on a Sunday afternoon after lunch. The interior is very nicely decorated with lots of available seating. The elevated area with the low table was a very nice touch and my kids really liked that area. A sign says customers are supposed to take off their shoes in that area which my kids did but I'm not sure other customers are doing the same based on how dirty my kids' socks were after they left the area. The drinks are very tasty as expected. My go to drink is the Bambu Favorite which is filling and refreshing. The pandan raffle was also yummy and chewy the way I like. I'll be back!

WOw I am loving this Bambu here at this Sunnyvale location! Just across the street from my favorite Bober Tea shop! I have been such a long time fan of Bambu for their refreshing drinks, Great Smoothies, boba Teas, and of course my favorite Vietnamese Desserts (Che) and their delightful Ice creams as well. Such Creative Fancy Decors and I love the beautiful indoor and outdoor seatings! Lovely, warm, inviting Vibes. There a few other Bambu in the Bay Area but this one truly my favorite by far! Plenty of Delicious Drinks and Desserts options! Definitely enjoy most of the Ches I've ordered. Bambu Special, Summer Delight, Bambu Combo, Bambu Favorite, Green Lantern Che, Raspberry Smoothie, Kiwi Yogurt, and Dragon Fruit Boba Tea, are some of my favorites items here at Bambu. I love the ingredients, very light, fresh, and the perfect sweetness!
