An okay place for dessert, but honestly kind of over priced for what it is. Service is meh, they have an ordering screen and no one even came to the front until it was time to make our order. Place honestly doesn't seem clean especially for a place that was so slow (came on a Sunday afternoon after lunch btw). Would also recommend just avoiding using the bathroom here

Its really nice to have this amazing taste and unique cold stuff in your mouth on hot weather..the first time come here and try the thai tea ice on the menu and so satisfied with our order because its not sweet too much and cold in our mouth.

I am not a fan of rolled ice cream in the first place - it feels more icy, less creamy than normal ice cream, is harder to eat, and is ridiculously overpriced. Plus it feels like you get less in a given cup, since there is so much space between the rolls. However, this Icicles location is particularly not worth the time or money. It is small to begin with - only about one table and one bench, so if more than two groups are there, you cannot eat inside. The seating they do have is cramped, the lighting is harsh, and it is genuinely not an environment I would want to spend any significant amount of time in. There is only one ordering kiosk, which slows down the ordering process, and since the employees don't manually take any orders, it is hard to ask questions or clarify what you wanted to order. I give two starts instead of one because the unlimited toppings are nice, and I can understand how I may just not be their target audience - the visual of getting to watch your ice cream be rolled in front of you may be worth the cost for some people. I just happen to find it a bit gimmicky. Overall I would not recommend Icicles to anyone, I think you can get just as good if not better of an experience, with better quality ice cream, and for cheaper, from literally any nearby Cold Stone or local ice cream shop.

I payed $15 for this ice cream, my order was chocolate and cheesecake, Was it worth it? Yes.

Haven't been back here since college school years ! I went back to see if they still have the bday free ice cream deal. Unfortunately they told me their website is out of date and they only do buy1get1 free on bdays now. Which is a shame cuz how am I gonna eat both ice cream at 9pm on a Thursday but after an effort but failing to find a friend to share that deal with me, the staff lets me off and gave me the free bday ice cream anyways Thank you very much! It got super busy after 8;30pm with all the kids but the ice cream was super good! The toasted marsh was sooo good. Made my night. Thank you again!

Oreo and mint Oreo mix-in, whole mint Oreo, strawberry popping boba, and crushed Oreos
    Gabe D.

Per usual I got the Oreo and mint Oreo mix-in with strawberry popping boba, crushed Oreos, and a whole mint Oreo as my toppings. I went pretty late so there was only one person I believe working my, but they were fast with making my rolled ice cream. As usual, it was flavorful and sweet. The inside is a little bit cramped and like all other icicles, the boba machine was not working. It was kinda dark inside, yet the lights were on. I have always recommended Icicles and will continue to do so in the future.

I visited Icicles this past weekend and had a great time. When I arrived after dinner time, there were two people in front of us in line, so it was a bit of a wait since all the ordering is done via the kiosk and sometimes people take a while looking through all the options and picking toppings... but while I was waiting, I looked at the menu displayed and decided to order #3: The Butterface. I love cookie butter flavors, so I knew this would be a great choice. Once it was my turn to order, I selected the Butterface and chose several different toppings, such as cinnamon toast crunch, fruity pebbles, graham cracker crumbs, a toasted marshmallow, and condensed milk. All of these toppings went perfectly with the Butterface flavor! Absolutely loved it! After getting our ice cream, we were able to sit at a table inside to eat it. I noticed they also have a bench inside and a table outside. Overall a nice dessert experience and I look forward to returning!

Beware of inaccurate pricing, the menu on the wall states for example Nutella N' Chill is $12.99 but they charge you $13.99. I didn't add anything that cost extra and when the employee making my ice cream asked the manager "fruit went up". No where on the menu or front door was this noted anywhere. Both employees just shrugged & went back to working instead of offering to correct anything. Totally fine paying for food but taking no action to fix the error is not ok.

Overrated. Not sure why it was all over social media 6-7 years ago, probably for the time lapse of the rolling up the ice cream. Save time & money and get a regular ice cream scoop instead.

I am such a fan of Icicles! I went here tonight after dinner (around 7:30pm) and it was pretty empty. There was only one person in front of me and no one behind me. The ordering process was easy. When you walk in, there's a screen to order on. Through there, you select your desired ice cream flavor, mix-ins, and toppings. The flavor options were mouth-watering and it was SO hard for me to choose, but I finally settled on the Butterface, which was cookie butter and graham flavor. I didn't select any mix-ins, but I chose a whole bunch of toppings: Cap'n Crunch, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Rainbow Sprinkles, Chocolate Chips, and Toasted Marshmallow. I also picked 2 drizzles: Condensed Milk and White Chocolate Drizzle. This ice cream flavor along with the toppings was such a great choice! If you like Biscoff cookies, I would highly recommend the Butterface. The worker was able to make my order quickly and beautifully. She was also kind enough to give us a cup of water when we asked. The place was clean and aesthetic (silver lion statue and neon "Rolling in Cupertino - Icicles" sign, perfect for pictures), and the whole atmosphere was calm and great. I'm so glad to have discovered Icicles and look forward to trying other flavors here in the future!

The store looked closed and the decor was something out of your Asian mom's house. Everything was barren and the place looked like it was about to go out of business. But they tried with their sorry excuse for 4th of July decorations. As we walked in, we were greeted with a big sign that said "order here" eventually two girls came out of the back room because they heard the door chime. No one greeted us and they just acted like there were no customers in the store and continued their gossiping about a poor girl that they hoped would quit. More people walked in as we waited for our dessert and they continued to act like we couldn't see them through the glass ignoring everyone. If I'm paying $12 for a mediocre dessert, the least they could do was say welcome, or hello or thank you for coming. anYTHinG! I recommend you to Yogurtland instead.

I've only had rolled ice cream once before. This was on par with the other place. I don't find rolled ice cream to be anything special; it's more the novelty of watching the ice cream being rolled. I got what I assume is their seasonal flavor and described as "pumpkin cheesecake with graham crackers." I don't know if those flavors are incorporated into the ice cream or not but there are no "automatic toppings" with the flavor of ice cream that you choose. Unlimited toppings is VERY nice though; I'm too used to getting nickled and dined for those! Ended up getting pretzels and caramel sauce. The pumpkin flavor was very strong in the ice cream which I liked! I would get it again after trying some other flavors. Although there was nothing super special about this place it was pretty solid! They have a non dairy menu (think sorbets) as well, and if you order off that they'll ask you if you have any other allergies they should know of!

We came on a Sunday afternoon and though the wall display says "SO MANY FLAVORS TO CHOOSE FROM", the inventory behind the glass says "meh not so much". I guess most of the different flavors had sold out already by 3 pm, like some of my favorite seasonals (dragon fruit, ube). However, I was able to get the osmanthus oolong which I love. The taro coconut was light and refreshing so I enjoyed that as well! Today I decided to venture and buy the durian but I have not YET tried it. It wasn't too busy so after placing the order, they had our order in less than 5 minutes. My puppers got to accompany me into the store too. So many possible permutations.... Pricing is by weight, and they will typically want to weigh up to 4 cups together and generate a single total price. In the past I've had my doubts as to whether they actually tare the scale to reflect the number of cups on there. Typically we've asked for each cup to be weighed and priced separately, partially because we also wanted to find out who was the biggest glutton in our group. Lately we've given them the benefit of the doubt and weighed them all at once. This place could use more indoor seating - they certainly have space for at least a few more tables and chairs. There is some shared outdoor seating, but on dark and rainy January evenings it's nice to enjoy one's froyo in a cozier setting.

The music room and bathroom were both clean. Audio quality is solid. However, after ruminating on…read morethe experience once we arrived home, several concerns became clear that ultimately deterred me from returning. Pricing was not straightforward or transparent. Upon arriving, we were told that all the rooms were booked and no follow up questions from their end. This remained the same throughout the entirety of the communication. I had to inquire all the questions, thinking I was asking the right ones to know prices and availability. I was wrong. With my questions, the answers I received were: 1) small room would take about 1 hour and 2) medium room would be about 40-45 minutes. Again, no follow up question from them whether which room we want, offering prices for each room, and asking if we wanted to put our name down. I only asked if the medium price would be the same as small, since we only had 2 people. That's something I should have reworded because what I actually wanted to know is how much would it be for 2 people--this was after 9:30 PM, for a medium room. I want to highlight that even though I am responsible for inquiries for clarification, a general rule also uniformly applies for businesses to be upfront with pricing and services for clarification. In short, that was completely absent throughout the interaction. We didn't know better, since we are not usuals at this establishment, which truly did feel that this was intentionally done to upcharge us. At the time, we chose convenience and said we would take whichever room--small or medium, as they stated--became available first. The medium room became available about 15 minutes after we had returned earlier to ask how to get on the "waitlist." Yet again, the process itself was never explained nor openly offered to us. We were informed of the $99/hour charge for the medium room only after being called up to the front desk/food station area, when the staff member was already writing the price on the receipt with a clipboard. This key detail should have been clearly disclosed at the very beginning of the first interaction--way before the signing at the desk to enter the room. My previous paragraphs can be referenced to this. Instead, signing and entering the room was processed as both the very first and final contact/confirmation. Thus, we weren't given any pricing and details prior until our name was called and came to the desk to sign. That is the primary issue: not disclosing the needed information well in advance until signing. Also, to their other review response --if there were management, then it could be with the person overseeing the computer, whom I directed the questions to. Like other reviewers have mentioned (which, in hindsight, we should have read more closely), there was a noticeable lack of transparency. We essentially had to ask every question ourselves in order to get basic information. Even then, the responses were brief and only addressed exactly what we asked--without offering additional context or details that would have helped us fully understand the pricing or process. And that in itself--is dishonest. Deceptive, too. Because of the lack of intent and transparency, we also weren't offered pricing information with the small room at any given point. So for those who wish to visit this establishment, be mindful of the highly, subtle deception. Perhaps you could try and ask directly for the pricing of each room, depending on head count, but who knows if they would provide information in all the extent needed for customers to make an informed decision. The medium room could fit 6-8 people maximum from our perception. The pricing on the website does not provide any room sizing price, or estimation. Just by head count, so essentially, we were being charged for the 9-10 people ($99/hr rate) that is listed on the webpage. Yes, here's the fine print from the website: "RATES & ROOM CAPACITY: The final rate will be based on either room size or total number of people, with the higher rate applied." If the $99/hr charge was purely due to the medium room size, as it did note that a "higher rate may apply," then that would have been understandable--if that information had been deliberately shared to us well in advance before signing. Even then, it becomes much more questionable since it seems that 6-8 people ($79/hr) could be accommodated in a medium size room. If so, then this was an upcharge, given all information had been nebulous. However, the issue I am pointing out here is the extreme lack of transparency and the involuntary manner in how the information was provided before signing. The general answers mentioned above were disclosed only when prompted by our questions, and even then the responses remained consistently evasive and limited. In spite of multiple reviews warning of the exact same issue regarding predatory pricing, the fact that this continues to be an issue while policy is only clarified in the replies of Yelp business reviews means that there is no serious consideration to review feedback or address our concerns in any meaningful way. If the customer has to make multiple inquiries as to what the pricing structure is without any upfront information such as what the business owner provided, then that policy only exists in fine print as insurance for the business' benefit. This is especially true because in this case, you cannot find what the rate for a room is on their website, and this policy was never communicated at any point of our interaction. I could appreciate the fact that pricing was agreed upon before we signed and went to our room, but that's only because that singular piece of information was never conveyed beforehand and which would have given us the opportunity to make a different decision. Because of this, I actually now recommend people stay away from this establishment and take their money elsewhere. My partner and I had a very unpleasant experience from this place because we were up charged for a room for 8-10 people at the rate of $99/hr, in spite of there being lower rates for smaller groups at ~$70 or even lower (which are available on their website). However, this being our first time, we weren't made aware that there were different pricing tiers and were led to believe that there were only two rates available by room size alone from small to medium. We were told upfront that there would be an hour-long wait for a small room, so we wanted to take the next available room that came up, which was a "medium-sized room." I know we aren't usuals there and therefore a business-decision was probably made to give us the most expensive rate to extract the most value possible from an unsuspecting couple, I found the practice to leave a bad taste. Beware of being given false time estimates and rates by the man who works there. It was disappointing to be taken advantage of in this way, so we advise looking into their rates first before going into this place. I get that we shouldn't have expected to pay the rate for 1-2 people because we chose a bigger room, but it also doesn't justify getting led into paying more simply because we didn't know any better.
