This is an amazing place to satisfy your craving for Indian flavored ice cream . You can get all exotic flavors like Meetha pan , Gulab jamun , beetroot halwa , flooda kulfi , malai kulfi ( all these are my favorites ) to the regular flavors like coffee, chocolate etc . You can also get the fruit flavored ice creams like custard apple , lychee etc . They also serve different types of shakes . Service is fast however if you are going there little late in night ( say around 9 pm ) , be prepared to stand in queue. Apparently there are lot of customers coming there around that time to satisfy there sugar cravings. I have ordered recently ice cream cakes from there on my birthday and I loved it so much that I went after 2 days and again got a cake from their store front .... And I am planning to go again , lol .... 8 inch cakes are $40 which I find extremely reasonable owing to the awesome flavors . Butterscotch has always been my favorite ice cream flavor in India, and for years I could never find anything in the U.S. that came close, that is until I tried Nirvanaah. Their butterscotch actually reminded me of the ice cream back home: creamy, flavorful, and with that signature butterscotch crunch. I loved it! Unfortunately, over the years I've noticed the quality really decline. The butterscotch flavor now tastes more like the versions I've tried elsewhere in the U.S., almost like vanilla ice cream with a few drops of butterscotch flavoring added. That rich taste and, most importantly, the crunch that made it so good are basically gone. I really hope Nirvanaah brings back the original recipe and quality. I came here with my family in search of falooda. Based on what I read, the falooda kulfi is popular here, so I decided to give that a try. The falooda kulfi was pretty good. It was basically their falooda ice cream with some kulfi pieces mixed with some milk (not sure if it's regular milk vs evaporated milk). As the falooda ice cream mixed with the milk and kulfi pieces, it satisfied my falooda craving. The falooda ice cream had basil seeds and thin noodles mixed in a rose ice cream base. I only found the dessert to be a bit on the sweeter side, maybe because of the kulfi. The store had no other customers when we were there. The cashier let us take our time to decide what we wanted. Some staff were busy loading cups and other utensils (probably some new orders that came in). They have mostly indoor seating with two tables outside. The tables had a lot of clean napkins here and there. The seats look like they could use a wash due to stains. When we threw away our ice cream cups, the trash can was super sticky. So far, I've had the lychee, thandai, anjeer and walnut, malai, kesar pista, and paan, and each one was delicious in its own way. Don't go here! Ice cream temp was completely wrong - imagine you've taken the ice cream out of the freezer and kept it on the counter for half an hour. Then you've had a scoop. Nirvanaah is conveniently located next to Cash & Carry (an Indian grocery store), so it's a great option for anyone after their shopping trip. I've tried their Ferrero Rocher, Falooda, and Rose flavors, and they were not extraordinary. For the ice cream flavors itself, I'd probably give them a 3.5/5 - they have a wide variety but their flavors are not extremely special. The service is okay, nothing outstanding but nothing abysmal either. Personally, I'm not a fan of their interior, but you're there for ice cream so it doesn't matter too much. read more

I went in today on a tuesday ~7:45pm (4/9/24) and it wasn't busy so found that a plus because when I pass by it sometimes i'd always see a crowd of people outside the place. Cute and homey ambiance with colorful walls. Upon entering i was greeted with two people (a man and a women) who seemed very nice and patient waiting for me to take my order since i was looking at the selection and on their yelp. I eventually asked about one of the flavors to which the man asked if I'd like a sample and i got to try some flavors i was interested in. There was so much to choose from and some that i've never heard of (wanted to do more research on them and maybe come back another time) but i ended up choosing the alphonso mango as I LOVE alfonso mango for their sweet and creamy (In my experience never sour) flavor, and the falooda kulfi (bc it was one of the highlighted flavors in the reviews alongside guava (but they didnt have it so i chose mango) for a double scoop. The Alphonso mango was perfect, it was not tart at all, they also did not skimp on the mango so it wasn't just a hint of mango and mainly milk, it was wasn't too mango-ey too, it was just creamy and good. Definitely recommend for Mango lovers :) The falooda was a different experience for me as ive never had actual falooda before and didn't do much research except it was a good falooda flavor from reviews. I tasted a mix of spices (maybe saffron, but not too strong- more subtle, some bits of a type of nut that was also mixed (texture)) and definitely a lingering hint of rose, which i ended up finding out that falooda does sometimes have rose syrup). It was definitely a treat, not up my alley but I'm glad to experience how it tastes in essence and it's probably more acquired since they have so many flavors reminiscent of desserts such as gulab jamun (which i love) so i'm excited to try more of their flavors in the near future. I always get the sitapahl which is in the same family as cherimoya. It's like having an ice cream flavored with apple but without the tartiness. Mildly sweet. The guava flavor has full guava flavor including the gritty texture. It's distinctly unapologetically guava which I appreciate. You can taste the guava right away. The mango pomegranate ice cream tasted more mango than pomegranate. This has a smoother texture just like mango and pomegranate. I noticed that the texture of some of the ice cream flavor is not very smooth but I think because it's consistent to the actual food it's modeled after. This is a great spot for Indian ice creams and the rajbhog flavor is my absolute favorite! They don't allow tasting and that's understandable. I asked for three scoops- alphonso mango, rajbhog and another one but they were layered on top of each other and that was a bummer. The royal falooda drink they said could be made from any 1 of the 2 select ice cream flavors only and that was a bit odd but the flavors were there. The rose syrup came through the drink and was tasty. The ladies at the counter did their best for a que of ice cream craving customers. Highly recommend going there instead of here if you care about a good experience for unique Indian ice cream flavors , this place is best for quick pick up and go. However, they do offer drinks which the other place does not, however, I can see Nirvanaah losing customers due to the poor service. They need more people to help out during busy times, holidays and weekends. Today on memorial day afternoon they had only one lady behind the counter and we had to wait 30 mins as she was overwhelmed and busy preparing a bulk restaurant order of 15 drinks while all customers waited in line. The people who were waiting to collect their bulk order ( 2 waiters from Puranpoli restaurant) complained that despite ordering ahead by phone and calling 30 mins ahead , they were still made to wait 30 mins. We were 5 of us in line and after waiting for 25 mins we were actually considering walking out without getting anything and going elsewhere. You need to train your people on how to handle bulk orders while customers are waiting and there is only one person handling it all - making sure to take and prepare orders for those in line in between preparing bulk order drinks instead of solely focusing on preparing 15 drinks while making everyone else in line wait forever. read more

I've tried Falooda from here a couple of times. They have it as a drink/milkshake and as an ice-cream or kulfi version. Both are equally good, although I personally prefer the milkshake version. After a day hiking in the sun, what's better than ice cream to reward yourself for calories burned. I had the rose petal ice cream and it was delicious. I love that they make all of their flavors- there is an obvious difference between homemade and factory made ice cream. The ice cream wasn't too sweet like a lot of rose I've creams are. It had rose petals in the ice cream as well which I liked a lot. The parking lot is a little challenging. There is a very busy grocery store in the same lot. I thought I was lucky to get a spot up front but it turns out that it's hard to get out of the front spots from the traffic leaving the parking lot. The customer service was good. This review is based on my first time going here a few weeks back. This place is open later than other dessert establishments in the area, so you can expect a long line even in a weekday evening. When I went, there were no chairs, so I got the vibe that after you get your ice cream, you just get out. There were various people just eating outside, sitting/standing by the curb. I love guava, so when I saw they had that flavor, I ordered it. It was more of a creamy/milky guava ice cream rather than a water based ice cream. It smelled good but the creaminess overpowered thr guava flavor in taste for me. They do charge a fee if you use credit card (I forgot if there is always a charge or only under a certain threshold). Due to the rush and my lack of paying attention, I didnt get to inquire exactly which 'custom item' was the extra fee and what the other charge was .. maybe for a cone-- I looked back at my receipt later on and felt that with what my total came out to be, I am not sure if it was worth it. I was hankering for some ice cream while in the area this weekend and Nirvanaah came up nearby in my app so I decided to drop in and give it a try. The staff weren't very friendly, no real explanation, they didn't even get up out of their chairs until I ordered. They sat there looking at me until I told them what I wanted. I went for their banana split and tried it with the black currant, raspberry and mango pomegranate ice cream. The actual ice cream was delicious and with unique flavors like black currant I'm a fan. I really enjoyed that I just wish the staff was a little friendlier instead of barely making eye contact and asking quick curt questions while building my dessert for me.
