I wanted to try something different, and while the mango passion jasmine was good, it was a bit tart for my liking. I will probably stick to plain mango as my second flavor next time. I typically go to Yogurtland, but decided to try Pinkberry. Pretty average pricing it was $9 for this cup. I chose matcha strawberry and plain tart with yogurt chips and mochi. The mochi was a bit stale, but they were generous with the toppings. The plain tart at pinkberry is superior to yogurtlands; it is more tart. The strawberry matcha had a light matcha taste, but the strawberry tasted fresh, less artificial. The young man serving me that day was helpful, it was my first time coming there and he answered any questions I had. I was amazed at how patient the staff was--I saw high school cheerleaders walking in, and I could really appreciate their patience. About 35-40 teenage girls walked in both ahead of and behind me. I saw they were open until 10pm, so I had a chance to grab some refreshing fro-yo and checkout this location. This is a nice Pinkberry. It's larger than Pinkberry @ Stanford Shopping Center. It has a few tables inside, and shares a common patio with lots of seating. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot. Pinkberry is full service, fixed price, and toppings have a small extra cost. The menu is fro-yo and smoothies. Unlike other fro-yo shops, Pinkberry has a rather limited flavor selection. But I think the customer experience is better here. I have reviewed 25-30 frozen yogurt places in SF Bay Area, and Pinkberry delivers better value, quality and presentation. For me, service time was okay. There was only one person working behind the counter. He quickly greeted me and asked for my order. I asked for a regular cup of Tropical Mango and Green Apple. I wanted to taste the separate flavors, so no swirl mixing. No toppings, so I paid $7.99. Beautiful presentation. The fro-yo had a good creamy texture. Not really icy. It was cold and refreshing. The flavor was just right, not sugary sweet. It tasted like mangos. The green Apple had a rather sharp sour taste. Nothing unexpected. Great ice cream terrible service. I love the yogurt here. It's probably my favorite frozen yogurt to be honest. I ordered a half blueberry lavender half pomegranate. My daughter ordered a original tart. Love the ice cream love the ingredients super fresh. The issue is around the reward system. Although Pinkberry has an amazing reward system this particular location does not promote the use of it and they will not make it easy for you. It seems like they almost reset or change their system every few months and they don't provide a receipt so that I can later scan my purchase in to earn my points accordingly. As a result, there's been a few times that I've come in and not earned points simply because they would not support me earning my points. To top it off the restroom is labeled out of service. This Pinkberry is very clean and spacious, and their staff are always friendly which makes our visit pleasant. Pinkberry has always been my go-to Froyo shop. I'm glad to see they are still active. I came here for dessert one evening with my SO. There usually isn't a line anymore for frozen yogurt, so we were immediately helped by one of the two staff working. They both were very friendly and let us sample the different yogurt flavors. FROYO * Plain Froyo is where it's at!! I always top it with tons of fruits and mochi. However, the toppings here were lackluster. The only options for fruits were strawberries and pineapple. Where were the kiwi, blueberries, mango, and raspberries? Hopefully, it was because we came later in the day. The store was closing in a couple of hours. Overall, Pinkberry never disappoints. Out of all of the yogurt places this quality is for sure stronger, better, and more natural flavored rather than sugary tasting like Yogurtland. My favorite flavor is the raspberry and original mix because it's super tart and rich tasting. I always get the fresh mochi and it's very chewy and a nice addition to the yogurt. Prices are on the higher side compared to places like Yogurtland, but you pay for the quality here they do have their own rewards program that you could sign up. You pay based off of the size and toppings not necessarily by weight like most other yogurt places do. As far as service, the past couple times I've been here I've seen that's it's normally a hit or miss with who I get, but this time that it went in the gentleman was pretty friendly and generous. I've visited this location twice recently for my froyo fix because it's located pretty close to my apartment, and both times were great! Unlike other froyo places that are self serve, this one has workers that do everything for you at the counter like an ice cream spot. They have 2 flavors in addition to the original that you can choose from, though I do wish that you can choose multiple flavors for one cup. Then, you get to choose up to 6 toppings, and I love that they don't skimp on the toppings. I got the seasonal strawberry shortcake froyo both times that I went, and it's really delicious and slightly tart -- definitely would recommend if it's there when you visit! In terms of toppings, there's a huge variety ranging from fruit and popping boba to chocolate and candy. I've tried a good number of toppings, and none of them were bad or anything. read more

The good: The girl who worked here was very quick. I tried a medium seasonal pumpkin and chocolate hazelnut froyo and also a size small pink lemonade and pomegranate froyo. I got almonds, crunchy chocolate balls and peanuts on the first one and two flavors of popping boba for the 2nd. There is plenty of outdoor seating areas here and plenty of parking. I love that Pinkberry's froyo flavors don't taste artificial. They don't tasted watered down or made with syrups and candy-like flavors. I think Pinkberry has the highest quality froyo and best tasting flavors compared with all other froyo chains. It was around $12 for my two froyo cups. The bad: They ran out of graham cracker as a topping (that was the suggested topping for the pumpkin froyo). The girl who put toppings on our serving did so very rapidly and sloppily. She spilled toppings around the topping bar area which I thought was dangerous with the peanuts that I ordered. Unlike other froyo places, this one is not self-serve. I recall that other Pinkberrys required workers to hand you the cup with two hands but this girl just put it on the counter for us and didn't hand it to us. I don't know if this policy has changed. The interesting: I was very interested in their $29.99 froyo cakes (comes in 3 flavors). They are in the front fridge and are pre-ready. They look and sound delicious! read more

In the world of chilled desserts, nothing beats OG tart. But even so, no other frozen yogurt joint has topped Pinkberry OG tart. For a bit of context, I always gravitate to new menu items. Fast food bores me because it's always the same thing, whereas ethnic restaurants have so many unique dishes that there is a possibility that I die during the meal (peanut allergy). However, I have ordered the exact same thing from Pinkberry over the course of 8 years because it's that good. Tart + mochi and strawberries. Maybe I'm kind of boring for having such simple tastes.
