I finally tried these delicious cookies! I was happy that I found them on TGTG and wanted to sample the variety flavors. I was able to try the coconut pandan, the Viet coffee, sesame raspberry flavors. I did also get strawberry shortcake but gave it to my family since I ate so many cookies. My fav is the Viet coffee and the coconut pandan, I really enjoyed the soft melt-in-your-mouth cookies that were lightly sweet with the flavors that weren't overbearing. It was a delight to try Asian inspired cookies and I can tell the ingredients are high quality! I was able to also talked to the baker, Charlie who was very kind and passionate about his cookies. You can literally taste it in the cookies, the packaging, the dedication to pouring time into his cookies to make it perfect. I truly enjoyed being able to connect with owners on this level to understand what makes their product (cookies) standout, and I can taste it in these cookies! Attended the SJ winter wonderland market and banh bakery caught my eye! I was intrigued by the viet coffee cookie, and a lady who was walking in front of me told me that the matcha cookie was very good. I was planning to just grab one viet coffee and one blueberry matcha but decided to just get the peppermint dark chocolate too! ($16 for three) Now for the ratings: Viet coffee cookie: 10/10 , it had chocolate chips in it. It tasted exactly like Vietnamese coffee. It was delicious. Blueberry matcha cookie: 7/10 . I'm not a fan of white chocolate but I really liked how they used freeze dried blueberries. It tasted more like a blueberry muffin to me. Not too strong of a matcha flavor. Peppermint dark chocolate: 8/10 , a classic flavor during the holiday season! I love it! Overall, these cookies are very very delicious and I def recommend people getting some to try! read more

I'm copying over my Google review on here: I stopped by a pop-up in SF a few weeks ago while my husband was checking out another vendor, and I'm so glad I did. I grabbed their chocolate cookie on a whim... and it was so good I immediately went back for another, plus a pandan coconut cookie. Both were seriously delicious. Fast forward to recently, I couldn't stop thinking about them, so I placed a preorder. My husband tried them before I got to it and said they're even better than his usual go-to at Antoine's Cookies (and he goes there almost every week, so that's saying something). Delicious cookies all around! I really enjoyed the Vietnamese Coffee, Pandan Coconut, and Banana Walnut (did not try the salted chocolate chip cookie). I bought a box of four variety for a friend's birthday gift and got two additional variety boxes for other friends and for myself to try. My brain the entire time: "How sweet is this...if this is too sweet, this box is going to people/kids I know who have a sweet tooth" you know what? It's at the right mark of sweetness. Lol. I thought, "Wow, not bad...wow, I'm actually going to finish this entire cookie!" Came across Banh Bakery from browsing through yelp. I'm glad I gave them a try! What caught my eye is the fact that they make vietnamese inspired flavors. I used the website to pre-order my cookies for pick up. I believe they needed at least 5 days minimum notice. I ordered the toasted pandan coconut, vietnamese coffee, carrot cake, raspberry white chocolate and salted chocolate chip. I ordered 15 cookies for a friendsgiving and everyone loved them! The flavors were on par, definitely not too sweet and also very flavorful. Sometimes it's hard to nail particular flavors but Banh Bakery does it so well. The packaging was also very nice! I love the fact that they included the nutrition info on the back. My friends are lowkey health freaks and always need to know what they're consuming. At the moment it seems as the menu is very limited, I also believe the raspberry white chocolate was seasonal. I'm hoping to see some more unique flavors in the future! read more

Usually I am hesitant ordering from places that are not well established with hundreds of reviews but that definitely changed when I first tried their cookies through a friend and really enjoyed the double chocolate one.
