Nothing completes a brunch date like sipping on something sweet after. And the prices are soooooo affordable. The insane economic inflation keeps me at home because my wallet says: NO. But here... Here my wallet shouts: YES THANK YOU! Got a banana-something, but it was so good. I had a massive headache from the salty meal prior, and this totally fixed me right up. The flavor reminds me of say, a banana tapioca pudding? but liquified format. And the bobas here have the perfect textures: soft & chewy. This place gets pretty busy once 1pm hits (on a Friday). Lunch rush perhaps. Service is quick, place is clean, and quality is great (as great as artificial flavors can be anyway). Definitely get more than just one drink!
It's great that there's a mixue in the bay. I really like their drinks ever since I tried it in HK! It's cheap too! Everything is so cute inside, and ordering was fast. Drinks came out in less than 2 min. Peach oolong was rlly good, & so is the strawberry jasmine. Both fruity & refreshing. Bummer that they don't sell the blueberry tea like I had in HK! That was the best one followed by the grape tea.
I stepped into Mixue feeling like I got transported back to the 90s, I couldn't believe my eyes at the prices. Ordering is easy, the 3 kiosks offer various drinks, ice creams, and floats. I chose the matcha ice cream at the unbelievably low price of $1.99!! There were two other flavors at that price, and drinks started at $2.50 or so for medium tea beverages. There was no line at the time, so I received my soft serve within 5 minutes. Skeptically, I tasted the ice cream, and it was decent tasting. The green tea flavor was nowhere near the real thing, not bitter nor with a strong flavor, but it was pleasantly sweet with the aroma of matcha (the kind you might find in China at a similar low price point). They did a great job churning the ice cream, it was smooth and silky with no hard icy bits. The cone was well shaped and crispy, it's as if they took the standard processed cones and smashed them into a waffle cone shape, it was more condensed and less airy than the American equivalent. If in the area next time, I'd be tempted to try the drinks then.
I went back with my mom and uncle for the novelty of this place. The interior is cute and everything is extremely cost effective. I really appreciate how fast and efficient they are, my order was ready in few minutes. My mom loved her green tea ice cream cone, and my uncle enjoyed his green lemonade, I took a sip and it had more lemon flavor than the lemonade I got last time, which is a plus. I tried the cherry green tea, and it was delicious! It was a huge improvement from my last visit. I opted for 50% sweetness, and the cherry flavor was spot on without being too sweet. I also enjoyed the cherry chunks in the drink. Overall, it was a good visit!
Parking is plentiful. The interior is nice and is an average size but pretty busy. However the line moves pretty quickly and service is fast too. I got some soft serve. Man was it delicious. Creamy and not overwhelmingly sweet. Price was very fair too. Tap to pay is accepted. I would come back here. Overall, Mixue is a delicious place for soft serve.
I'm an avid Mixue goer in China so I was really hoping the taste would be the same. Although the drinks were fine, it doesn't have the exact same flavor I had in China. Could be different water, lemon, sugar, etc. I'm not sure what but I preferred the taste abroad. However, the price to quality/quantity ratio is insane and unbeatable in the US. The workers call out your name for the ice cream, which will likely come before your drink. The interior has merch on one side and seats on the other, so I would recommend grabbing it to go as those seats fill up fast.

I got the jasmine milk tea at 30% sweet and it had barely any tea taste. My friend got a float and the ice cream tasted like white rabbit candy which was nice. My other friend's "banana shake" was not a shake at all but more like an artificial banana milk. Very misleading name and photo. The only drink I liked was the mango drink with taro balls. They are pretty quick with orders here. All ordering is through kiosk. The inside is clean and decorated plenty with their mascot. The best part about this spot are the prices, but I personally wouldn't come back here if I was craving boba milk tea. Ice cream? Maybe. Overall: 2.8/5

Ordering online for pickup is definitely a game changer and will save you so much time! They wait for you to be there before serving the soft serve so it won't melt. There's a lot of cute merchandise inside, the drinks come in a cute bag too! Will be coming back, I want to try the taro balls.

The soft serve was the standout for me - tasty, creamy, and just over $1 which is such a steal. A lot of the drinks are also $5 or less. Honestly what stands out most about MIXUE is the price. It's incredibly affordable compared to a lot of places in the area while still being quick and efficient. Definitely a good spot to grab a quick sweet treat after dinner without spending much!

Checked out Mixue ever since I heard they opened in Cupertino, had to try their value soft serve cones. - Matcha Soft Serve - smooth, creamy, light matcha flavor, not overly rich; my number got called even before I finished ordering, pretty much soft serve on tap there; the cone was light and airy too Service is pretty much only interacted with when you pick up your order, and ordering is done through a tablet at the front. The place was quite busy even on a Saturday night before closing, with a bustling, stimulating ambience and the iconic Mixue snowman adorning the walls alongside figurines, keychains, and bags. There are a few tables, but it's so loud inside that it's pretty much a grab-and-go spot. These Chinese brands sure know how to cater to the American consumer, we ordered four items for the group and it came out to under $15. What a steal, we'll be back. read more

You can't beat the price and quality you get at Mixue! A soft servce for $1.59 is so worth it. The ice cream taste like a fortune cookie to me. Their grape tea with taro balls are also amazing, the quality of the taro balls are so good. The service is really quick as well. There is plenty of parking in this plaza too. read more
Sooo happy they have taro balls as a topping!!! I don't know any other place who has them anymore (used to get from Tea Era, but no more!) The line looked long, but once you place your order, they're pretty fast at churning out the goods! Tried creamy banana, strawberry coconut milk (50% sugar was still sweet), coconut mango with taro (0% sugar was good for my parents), and taro ball milk tea! Super affordable drinks and soft serve - what's not to like?! read more
Mixue is a giant chain from China that's known for their cheap ice cream and desserts/drinks. The quality is actually very good here in the US compared to back in China. I think the ice cream is creamier here. Its insane value for the amount you are paying which is $1-5 for any of their items. There's usually a line here but it goes by day and once you order, it's usually ready in minutes. My favorite items to get are the normal ice cream, super strawberry sundae, and strawberry matcha sundae! King Mixue decorates the entire interior so you will see him everywhere. read more
Had their Super Mango Sundae with pudding and their Strawberry Sundae. The soft serve ice cream itself had definitely milky flavor. The texture was between frozen yogurt and ice milk, not completely creamy smooth texture but not grainy either. The mango chunks and mango puree/sauce were sweet and did not have the tartiness/sour taste. The pudding was more of a jelly texture and tastes similar to almond pudding. It tasted better when the ice cream melted and the mango mixed in. It was like a mango milkshake but thinner with chunks of almond jelly. The Strawberry sauce tasted very artificial. Almost like medicine taste. Price was around $3.50 for the sundae and extra 50 cents for the pudding. The soft serve in a cone is less than $2 so not bad. They also had milk tea and fruit teas. Line was long on a Friday evening but went pretty fast. They have kiosk to place your order and pay. read more
Stopped by, after my appointment at the beauty shop. It just happened to be in the same strip mall. I have heard many good things about this place and was happy to see that the South Bay finally got a Mixue location. I was warmly greeted by the staff, when I walked in the door. There was a cute snowman mascot right inside as you walk in. They had several seating options inside. You place your order at the kiosks. I was craving a fruit tea and looked at the options they had. I decided to order the peach mango Jasmin tea with no added sweetness and regular ice. I saw my name pop up on their screen by the front counter that tells you when your order is ready. I walked up to the table where you pick up your order and thanked the young man, who placed my drink there. The peach mango tea was delicious. They added fresh fruit puree to the tea and had chunks of mango and peach inside. It was so wonderful and refreshing. It really didn't need any extra sweetness. It was perfect just as it was. I thought it was a great price at $3.49, for what I got. I will definitely come back again for more and try their famous soft serve ice cream. read more

Whoo HOO - so happy this place is here for a inexpensive and fairly quick soft serve. Perfect timing given it's in the summer. And I LOVE snowman - it's theme for me overall - so having a snowman mascot all year round is another huge plus! LOL Weekends are crazy with lines but weekdays are perfect. It actually goes pretty fast with 3 kiosks but depends if people in front know what they want - and given it's fairly new - there's a bit of time spend scrolling so patience is key for now.... Got their soft serve sundaes. Strawberry for hubby and chocolate for me! All for the price of $3.49! What a deal! I prefer this vs McD at this point. Am going to try their soft serve cones which is only $1.59!! And they have a variety of drinks. Guess we just have to keep coming back to try - though I noticed a lot of people got a soft serve AND a drink! Something to consider for next time! read more

Soft serve that is perfectly smooth and boba tea at an unbeatable price- what more can you ask for? The matcha soft serve had a light matcha flavor, and was nice and creamy. Beeare, it does melt fast so be prepared to gobble it down 8.5/10 The jasmine boba tea had slight floral notes; not as fragrant as Molly tea, but still a respectable amount of flavor. The boba was surprisingly soft. The line took around 10 minutes, and the food items were ready in 5. Everything was quick and efficient! Definitely worth a stop for the price and quality. read more
We ordered the matcha soft serve, spring oolong milk tea, and strawberry jasmine tea. Matcha Soft Serve: Slightly sweet with a hint of oxidation, but remarkably close in quality to what high-end matcha shops charge double for. Spring Oolong Milk Tea: Great tea-forward flavor, though a bit watery and could benefit from a bit more milkiness. Still, the quality-to-price ratio easily beats competitors who charge twice as much. Strawberry Jasmine Tea: Super refreshing and delicious. Even at 0% added sugar, it had a nice, natural sweetness. On top of the fantastic prices, the service was super fast and friendly. New boba tea shop at Sunnyvale. We didn't plan to visit but when we were in the shopping complex we saw many people and found it it is Mixue. It was very crowded when we arrived but line move quickly. There are 3 touch screen kiosk for ordering and you can also order online via some app. This place seems famous for their icecream and "cheap" boba tea as it is almost half the price of other boba tea shop and topping too even though the topping option is limited. For me the price is much more affordable than other boba tea shop. Thus could be the reason for the crowd. read more
Mixue is the latest addition to the dessert scene in San Jose as of a few weeks ago. We've been waiting for the craze and opening hype to die down, but the line is still extremely long on weekends. During busy times, the line is snaked throughout the store. There's very limited seating as well. It gets really hot inside the store since the AC isn't really strong. The line itself has a 10 minute wait to order and another 10-15 minute wait for order processing on the weekend. Soft serve is instantaneously served upon ordering for both weekends and weekdays. The wait is significantly less during weekday lunchtime and seating is readily available at the time. Staff makes the soft serve cone upon receiving the order and calling out the guest name. If the guest doesn't step up within a few minutes, the ice cream was promptly tossed into the trash bin and a new cone would be made. The cycle repeats until the purchaser comes to retrieve their soft serve... This cycle of order processing was fine for a weekday since the shop was not packed full of people, but it was a huge waste of ice cream on weekends since people don't hear or pay attention when their order is called out for retrieval. Might as well give melting ice cream away to the nearest guest instead of tossing it. The super strawberry sundae is my favorite. The strawberry jam adds a delicious strawberry flavor to the plain soft serve. The jam isn't overly thick so it blends well texture wise with the plain soft serve. Matcha soft serve has a slight matcha flavor. Don't expect it to be super concentrated. Pudding milk tea didn't have a concentrated tea taste. The pudding itself is sweet and firm. The spring oolong milk tea is the better pick of their milk teas. There is definitely a difference in tea taste between the regular milk tea and the oolong milk tea. Overall, the soft serves do melt quickly! Staff is friendly and everything is made quickly. The drinks are more on the super sugary side, so feel free to order less sugar. We'll be back for the cheap desserts! read more
Food Rating: 7/10 Price: 10/10 Ambiance/Service: 8/10 Overall Rating: 8.3 Came after dinner on a Saturday at 7pm. The line looked pretty long but it moves fast, we got our order in and drinks within 20 min. You can only order from the kiosk, and they have a screen displaying which orders are in progress and which are done. The inside of the shop looked pretty hectic and the floor was a bit sticky. There were some seats inside, but I would not recommend sitting inside. The prices are dirt cheap, but the quality is nothing special. The $1.59 soft serve is a steal, a perfect post-dinner treat for everyone on a hot day. So if you want a sweet treat on a budget, this is the place to go. Jasmine Milk Tea w/ Boba - $3.98 Rating: (7/10) I cannot remember the last time I bought boba without a rewards discount for less than $5... sub $4 is unheard of in 2026. Ignoring the impressive price, the drink itself was pretty unimpressive. It tasted like a cheap milk tea, and the boba needed to be cooked a bit longer, it was a little hard. read more

It just opened, which is why there is a giant line, but service is super fast. Have to understand that the selling point is that it is super cheap. I got the peach oolong tea, and it was decent for its price, but if you want really good quality tea, probably better off getting it somewhere else. read more
Super excited for Mixue to finally open up in the Bay Area! Got their coconut mango with taro which also came with jellies in the drink. I loved the jellies moreso than the taro, but the taro balls were also good. It was a bit underwhelming but it's not bad. Especially given the price, I'd come back again to try other drinks and find my go-to overtime. Since it was their grand opening, I also got to try their vanilla soft serve for free and it was great! I enjoyed the cone a lot and the soft serve itself was delicious -- wouldn't mind getting just the soft serve next time! read more
There was a long line and crowd of people huddling at the front on a Friday evening. However, the lines moved relatively quick. The prices for the drinks and desserts are reasonably priced. Food / Drinks Super Mango Sundae - $3.49 Served in a Mixue branded plastic cup and red spoon, the vanilla soft serve ice cream was creamy and paired nicely with the mango drizzle to give it an extra bit of sweetness. Mixue Fresh Lemonade - $2.69 One of their popular and favorite drinks. It looks like a cup of iced water with slices of lemons, but don't be fooled. It's by far one of the lightest and refreshing lemonade drinks I've tried with 70% sweetness. Pearl Milk Tea - $4.99 The milk tea itself is not a strong tea profile. The boba pearls were chewy with hints of honey and cup was filled substantially with a lot. Not too sweet and another popular menu item. Peach Oolong Tea - $3.99 Subtle peach flavor profiles with hints of oolong, but a bit sweet. A nice drink if you're looking for a non-dairy alternative. Spring Oolong Milk Tea - $3.99 Light oolong tea flavor with a clean. It is less creamy than a rich, thick milk tea. Customer Service There's 3 self-service kiosks to place orders and minimal interactions with the staff other than picking up your order. Ambiance Mixue branded merchandise on the wall, hanging banners, and bright white lights. There's tables and benches for indoor seating and a dedicated pick up area for orders. Location / Parking Located in a shared strip plaza with other businesses next door to Aarna Threading Salon and Gentle Dental. The parking lot has plenty of spots at the front and surrounding areas. read more

Seeing the first Mixue in the bay has been such an experience! The lines get quite long, and usually take a bit of time especially from people who are first visiting (and just viewing the menu options)! I would say definitely prepare for a wait. I got the oreo sundae and the classic milk tea, and I definitely think the milk tea is a must try. It is a tea forward drink, however it is quite sweet regardless. The sundae was overall okay; I wouldn't get it again but it was nice to try! read more
Was gonna give 2 stars because I'm a massive hater but the very affordable pricing (most things under $5) in this economy is a real added benefit and great for the community. I honestly don't like their quality of product. The soft serve is very icy, and it melts in minutes. There is an artistry behind good soft serve: a good product blend and good temperature. Their vanilla soft serve doesn't really taste like vanilla and is more like the white rabbit candy you find at Asian grocery stores. I don't mind that flavor but it was unexpected considering it's just called "Vanilla" on the menu. I think us Americans got ice cream/soft serve done right. Go visit Meadowlark Dairy or Rita's if you want a proper soft serve. This is cool to check out maybe once or twice and/or you're familiar with their brand over in China. read more
I actually had this twice this week! First time was through Door Dash where I ordered Oolong tea float - with regular sugar. It was too sweet for me probably because it had the soft serve, so next time I will order 50% sweetness. This time I ordered in person, a Lemon Iced Tea and Super Cookie Sundae. The line was quite long at Sunday 6pm but only took about 15 minutes to get to the machine to order. After ordering, it took less than 5 minutes to get our order. I ordered 70% sugar for the Lemon Iced tea and it was really good! I wish it was slightly more flavorful, either more lemon or more tea (but you get what you pay for!!) I am glad these prices are able to stay affordable in the Bay Area. Super cookie sundae was also really good, but I wouldn't be able to finish it on my own! read more
Mixue's prices definitely make it worth it to come try them out. Staff were quick and friendly. The inside is small with limited seating. You can order with either of the 3 kiosks. Is it the best quality milk tea? No. But, does it taste good considering the price? Yes. I got their Pearl Milk Tea in size large. For $5.49 with tax included, it's one of the cheapest boba drinks I have tried in the Bay Area. It tasted like a standard black milk tea. It was creamy and sweet. They give a lot of brown sugar boba that was soft and chewy. This drink is one of their top sellers for a reason. read more

"I love you, you love me, MIXUE Ice cream and tea...." The Bay Area's first Mixue location is finally here.... This Chinese chain with over 45,000 locations globally (more than McD) has your wallet in mind. All drinks are under $5, soft serve cones are $1.59, and sundaes are $3.49. Hell YAS! IMHO, their drinks and vanilla soft serve (tastes like white rabbit candy) are 3 stars and run American sweet (aka too sweet) but it's cheap so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. If you have the balls, sing Mixue's theme song for a free soft serve cone during select openings and special events. Check with the staff to see if this location is participating. Visited Mixue during their grand opening and pleasantly surprised that there was a promo that weekend. Super long line that moves. There are 3 self serve kiosks to order at, so the line moved as fast as people figures out how to place their orders. Drinks came out within a few minutes of order completion! The spring oolong tea, 50% sweet was quite good. The free vanilla soft serve promo was a plesant bonus. Prices are extremely reasonable, with essentially nothing over $5.
