I came here at around 9:45pm on Friday night right before closing. My friend and I were the only customers since it was so late. I am appreciative of the worker who still made our drinks, even though it was close to closing time. I ordered the Lychee-Addict at 25% sweetness. The total was $6.25. I was enticed by the fact that they offered a lychee tea drink because not many places offered a lychee tea. Lots of places just offered lychee jelly. It took around 5 minutes for my drink to be ready. I liked how they had lychee bits and lychee jelly which gave the drink texture. The sweetness of the drink was perfect for me, and the tea and lychee juice was well-balanced. This shop is located in a plaza, so there's plenty of parking. There's a few tables for seating which is nice.
If you're looking for really delicious drinks with real fruits, look no further! This is a small shop with a huge menu of refreshing drinks and teas. I really like their smoothies, the ones on the menu and customizing my own. The cup is HUGE!!! 24oz and well worth the price. On the weekend though, be wary of slower service due to limited staff and more people ordering. Otherwise a really solid spot!

Overall, they have a wide variety of drink options and lots of snacks too. You order on a kiosk which limits the interaction with staff. The shop itself has some seating but what knocked off a star was that they didn't have a restroom for customers; it looked blocked off and not available? Not sure, but this was a little disappointing. If I'm craving sugarcane juice again; this will be a go-to spot!

There was a self-service kiosk to order and the staff brought out the drinks quickly. They call our name and let us know what came out! The inside of the store was cute with some tables for sitting and music playing. The coffee was a strong Vietnamese coffee with a light and fluffy egg foam! The egg foam was sweet, creamy, and so so fluffy! It complemented the coffee and mixed in a bit as well. I would consider coming again to try out some other item from their large menu!
Beastea is such a fun spot in Santa Clara! I tried a bunch of drinks and snacks and loved every single one. The Ube Waffle was fluffy and perfectly sweet, and the Beastea Deluxe was super refreshing with its fruity jasmine tea blend. The Lychee Smoothie was light and tropical, while the Egg Coffee was rich and creamy -- such a unique drink! My favorite combo was the Ube Matcha Latte (so dreamy ) and the Ifrit Spicy Mangonada for that sweet, tangy, spicy kick. For snacks, the Popcorn Chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the Mozzarella Sticks had the best cheesy pull. The menu has something for everyone, and the vibe inside is cozy and perfect for hanging out. Staff was friendly and the service was quick.
Delicious smoothies and food with large portions! I can't believe I finally got around to trying them, even though I lived in the neighborhood for the past 4 years. Their drink menu is super extensive and overwhelming, but I do like that they offer fresh fruit teas and smoothies. I went for a pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and peach smoothie, and my boyfriend got a strawberry slushie. We also ordered garlic fries and popcorn chicken. The prices might seem steep, but for the amount of food and beverages they give you, I think it's completely worth it! The smoothie was refreshing and perfect for a hot summer afternoon. The food was piping hot and filled to the absolute brim. I really enjoyed the garlic fries and went back to get another literally a week later.
Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a strawberry matcha, it wasn't busy and there's plenty of parking. Ordering at the kiosk is pretty easy, but no one greeted me which was fine lol. To my surprise there was a guava matcha which I hadn't tried before so I decided to give it a whirl. It was actually soooo good that I ended up finishing it before I got home. I asked for less ice and less sweetness and it was the perfect amount. The only thing is that there wasn't an option to change the milk to oat milk, so i decided to take the L it's a pretty casual place and you get a pretty big cup for what you pay for. Only taking off a star cus it would be nice to have a milk substitute!
Kids wanted boba and popcorn chicken so I yelped somewhere close to us and this popped up. Ok I see good reviews and pictures online and looks like their popcorn chicken looks legit. So, we drive there and tried to order some Viet coffee because one I'm Viet and two, I'm hella tired and needed a pick me up. The lady working says they have no coffee at all. I'm like uh its 2pm on a Thursday, there's no way they ran out. Then I said ok, how about ube matcha latte. Then she said they ran out of ube too..... at this point I was getting irritated. I look down and there's a sign of all the stuff they DONT HAVE. I'm not sure if that just today or all days but then I'm like ok no ube then, how about a Strawberry Matcha Latte (I still needed caffeine) at that point. And lucky me they didn't run out of Matcha or strawberries. The drink was ok. We ordered the popcorn chicken which was the only thing that was decent there. It came with a sweet chili sauce and spicy mayo sauce in a ramekin. We also ordered the calamari. Ok when you think calamari and from the pictures they look like small rings. But when they came out, they look like the size of a big onion ring (super-duper battered and thick). It was really hard to eat so dont get this! Sorry I wish I had more to say but I was really disappointed and would avoid this place until they get their coffee back.
One of the few milk/fruit tea shops that also offer food. I appreciate the variety of fruit options they offer and they also offer to sell those fruits as snacks. Definitely think it's a place worth trying if you're in the area because there probably is something for everyone to try. The last two times I came (May/June 2025), they only had one person handling the register and drinks/foods... they would really benefit from having more people working especially with the summer weather. I ordered once in person and another online and both times I think I waited 30+ minutes. My online order took an additional 20-25 minutes past the quoted time so I tried asking for a refund before they made my order but they said they only needed 5 minutes. I ended up getting my order and it was good, just sucks trying to work within a timeframe to make my next appointment was stress-inducing. Please Beastea... have more than one person working at a time.
The smoothies are good, but had to take away at least one star because the menus are overwhelming and don't list all the ingredients (possible allergies). The lady who is single handedly managing the register and making the drinks and snacks had a hard time understanding when I tried to ask about the ingredients. Specifically if my drink had cow's milk because I'm lactose intolerant. Ambiance could be better, but they had furniture stacked up and blocking the cute photo backdrop. I would suggest improving on making the menu more streamlined and easy to read - maybe a photo and the ingredients under each item.
Always up for looking for coffee especially strong coffee! Found this along the way going home on El Camino Blvd. They are in a small Plaza with a good amount of parking. The store has a few tables to sit at. The ladies behind the counter were busy but friendly. This is the first time I've seen a place that offers drink flights or coffee flights to try their different flavors!! Their coffee is actually Vietnamese coffee which is strong but I love it. We ordered their four flavors - regular Vietnamese coffee, Ube Latte coffee, Pandan Coffee and flan coffee. This came with free scoop of ice cream. These were very good just for my hubby and I. I still want to try their egg coffee but they ran out. Our daughters ordered strawberry smoothie and matcha mango milk tea. I thought it was very good as well. All their drinks are 24oz. Of course, we ordered a pandan waffle to try but that took awhile to get as they were taking care of all the drink orders that came after us. There was only two ladies doing everything. The waffle was soft but thick. I would definitely recommend this place. I wish they would post the food prices instead of all the drinks only. We will be back to get some snacks and drinks!! Stopped by Beastea because it was close to the restaurant we were eating at for lunch. We were so excited to see all the different options!! You have milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, matchas, lattes, slushies.... and they serve snacks as well. We got the California Sunset (mango, pineapple, peach and passion fruit, jasmine tea, lychee jelly, mango and pineapple bits), the Winter-Lemon (jasmine tea w/winter melon, lemons, basil seeds, crystal and lemon slices), pandan foam coffee and the egg foam coffee. First I think their fruity teas are the way to go. BIL LOVED his California Sunset and drank it up in a flash. SIL liked the Winter-Lemon but wished it actually had lemonade in it to give MORE lemon flavor - so it wasn't so much of a hit. The foam coffees are so so. The pandan one seemed pretty good - but the Egg Foam... not so good. I've had egg coffee at other places and this one the foam was SO THICK - and I did 50% sweet - still WAY too sweet. But again - WAY too thick. Overall it tasted more like a milkshake than a foam coffee. Even when the ice melted - not so great. And again - the pandan one was "okay" - nothing craveable. I would stick with the fruity teas - and next time try one of the many they offer on the menu.... It's very low key - which is mix given the nice greenery with "wings" background but you order yourself on the big screen. Some seating. It was okay.

This drink spot has way more food options than I expected! I came here because I was craving boba and wanted to try somewhere new, and honestly, this might become one of my new favorite spots. I got the ube latte with soy milk and 25% sweetness, and it was still plenty sweet. The drink came with ube paste and boba inside. The Mangonada was refreshing with a nice spicy kick--perfect for summer. The curly fries were an absolutely massive portion, but surprisingly sooo good lol. They came with ketchup and a dipping sauce, but they were crispy and flavorful enough on their own. Seriously couldn't stop eating them haha. The popcorn chicken lets you choose the portion size and spice level when ordering. Definitely want to come back and try more things on the menu next time! read more

Nice little boba tea place. Lot of drinks and snacks selections. I had the ube matcha latte, the ube is real and it is a good match with matcha latte Boba milk tea is great too, I like the texture of the boba. Will comeback to try their snacks soon read more
The place was empty when I went - Sunday at noon. I ordered via DoorDash for pick up and no one was at the front. I had to yell out so someone could come out to help. I was given my drink and it's in a small cup. The drink is pricey, almost $9 but I will say it's good! I got the egg foam coffee and it was strong and at the requested sweet level. read more
This place has a lot of stuff on the menu, so you have various choices. Just recommence less sugar if you are a less sweet person. I got the soursop with 25% sugar, but it's still sweet for me, I will try 0% sugar on next visit ^^ Will come back to try their other drink and snacky yum yum!!! read more
Oops, I thought I wrote a review for Beastea already. The owner Joy is super nice and friendly. Service is polite and speedy. Loved every drink I've tried here. Nuoc mia is so refreshing. The size of their cups is pretty generous for the price! Totally worth it. Pandan waffle is made fresh and was so good! They have a pretty unique selection of drinks, whether it's coffee, fruit teas, smoothies, etc! Lots of options for everyone! Let's not forget about their food offerings. Great to munch on with a refreshing beverage. I loved the fish balls and popcorn chicken. So delish. Highly recommend and will be back. read more

Stopped by while getting my oil changed and was blown away by how many food and drink options this place offers. It's a bit on the smaller side, but that wasn't an issue since it wasn't busy when I visited. Their menu has everything from fries and popcorn chicken to lattes, smoothies, boba, and even free lollipops! I ordered the Double Ube Latte and popcorn chicken. Since the latte is made with Vietnamese coffee, I wasn't sure how strong it would be, so I asked them to make it a little sweeter. SO YUMMY, SO TASTY, SO AMAZING. Honestly, I think I could've skipped asking for the extra sweetness because I didn't feel the tweak lol. The barista was super friendly and accommodating with my coffee request. I'll definitely be back, especially because they also have an Ube Matcha Latte?! From all the coffee places I've been to, I haven't seen this option anywhere else. It's a pretty decent place, actually. The salty cheese from my drink is thick and tasty. Boba is cooked with too much sugar. It's good I ordered no sugar for my tea drink to balance it out. Love the popcorn chicken. Very generous portion and the taste is on point. Ube waffle is a bit too sweet and can be cooked a bit longer to make it a bit crunchy for taste. Service is quick and I like there are quite a few tables inside to sit and enjoy your drink and snacks. read more

My husband and I usually enjoy coming here for the avocado smoothie and snacks. Unfortunately, this visit was a little different. We ordered the popcorn chicken, which usually comes with basil (and the menu photo shows it too), but ours didn't have any. When I asked about it, the staff said it doesn't come with basil -- which confused me since we've had it with basil before. I also wanted to order the pandan waffles, but they weren't on the self-serve tablet. When I asked, I was told they didn't have them, but I noticed the green batter in the kitchen and asked again -- and then I was able to order them . We still like supporting small businesses and appreciate the food, but this time it took a very long time to order and receive everything. Hoping next time is smoother. read more
Came here for a Boba fix along with the hubby and the kiddo. This is the second time my daughter came in and recommended us to try when we came in. The door was fully open as the AC was not working. The snacks here are amazing--tons of variety, refreshing teas, and huge portions. You can get a box packed with fries for just around $10, which is a great deal. I really appreciate Vietnamese-owned boba shops because they bring a unique twist to their teas and offer plenty of snack choices. The owner, a friendly Vietnamese woman, often takes orders at the counter, and I've had the chance to chat with her a few times. She also has a great memory for faces, which makes the experience feel even more personal and welcoming. I found out she co-owns another spot in Milpitas called Brew & Banh Mi Cafe--definitely worth checking out and supporting too! read more

Gigantic size! Avocado smoothie was good and hit the spot. It's in a shopping center. I ordered fish tofu, but they were out. They subbed it with fried fish cakes, which were good. Reminded me of hush puppies. read more

Loved their matcha ube!! My partner got a smoothie - can't remember what flavor but it was huge LOL the inside is a little unclean and the service was slow but we did come on a weekend afternoon. Parking is easy! read more

This is my first time coming here, and their menu is so extensive. I got the triple berry slushy, which tasted like an açaí bowl in drink form. The image shows that there's toppings on the drink, but mine didn't come with toppings or else I would've got something to do with it. If you get a smoothie/slushy, it comes in those really tall cups, which is so cool. I've never seen it in any other boba shops. But if you get a tea or coffee, then it comes in regular cups. I also got an ube waffle. It didn't really taste like ube, more like pandan but purple. It was still good though. read more

Cleanliness - very, the table and seats were so clean. No sticky day old boba sitting on the seat next to me. Boba - so delicious, and the pearls are fresh. Popcorn chicken - unique and incredible! They gave me a spiced and seasoned hefty amount of food that I was genuinely surprised by. It doesnt taste like any other popcorn chicken I have had, and I'm sure to come back for it. I always try to find a bubble tea place that serves popcorn chicken and snacks. I don't know why but I love tea places that serve snacks and tea because I know a few places that serves just the drink. Now the thing with the other places that do serve the snacks are that they give too little or it tastes like they have been sitting out for a long time. Now I think I got lucky because I got here right around opening time and I believe they just started the fryer so I was able to get some freshly made popcorn chicken and I have to say that this is the largest amount of popcorn chicken I have ever received for about 10 to 12 dollars, I don't quite remember. But they gave it to me in a big togo box order. It can literally feed about three people pretty decently. The breading is a little heavy and I did wish the spice level was upped a little more, but worth the money for the amount of you want to eat to your filling. I also got their matcha strawberry tea, which was good, but nothing gives it that wow factor with the drink. My drink tastes are limited at boba places it's usually between Thai tea, matcha, or taro, which is about it. I don't try going ordering new drinks. But definitely come here if you want snacks to share and can try some other drinks, y'all can tell me how the other flavors are. read more

This a small little shop with a good amount of seating, the reason being, there is NO AC so people come in and out pretty quickly. The drinks were BEAUTIFUL and TASTY, service was friendly. I ordered Kiss On the Lips. The tea was a bit sweet. I can taste the guava and strawberry. I got 50% sugar. If you don't want it sweet, ask for less than 50%. If you have a sweet tooth, order more than 5% sugar! My drink came out within 10 minutes. This is a great place nestled away in an unassuming plaza. There's usually a lot of parking during non-peak hours. I came in on a Tuesday night around closing. Great place for hanging out with friends or family. Beastea is one of my favorite cafes in San Jose! Their store is a bit unassuming from the outside but we really enjoyed everything we tried. My favorite item was the Vietnamese coffee flight, which not only had great coffee but really unique flavors (ube, pandan, & salted cream toppings + a flan type topping). Their snacks & teas are always fresh & the staff is super nice! Will definitely be visiting again to try their boba :) read more

The strawberry smoothie I got on my recent visit was sweet and fruity, not too tart and so fresh tasting. Served in such a tall container, it was like two drinks in one, there was no way I could finish that on my own. Definitely good value here, even if a bit of a wait with the lady helping each individual customer to make the orders in the back. The place was clean and bright, with several tables and seating inside, too. read more
