Delicious! Have been wanting to try for so long. We ordered the crème brûlée, caramel and tiramisu. My favorite was the crème brûlée! Tasted just like the dessert. I thought it was a sit down place but you just place your order at the window. Fast, efficient and delicious! So many options!
Came all the way here from SF for my daughters because I promised them some macarons, apparently TikTok said Oh, Honey is the best in the BAY AREA. They have a few good choices to pick from and when I seen they had durian I was sold! Not for me but for my mom and she definitely approved! It's not a space where you can enter the store, everything is displayed at the window for you to choose from. Be aware of parking it's not hard but definitely not easy neither, you have to park correctly and walk to the store. We'll be back soon, when we're in the area. Owner was very sweet and nice as well because my teens were definitely being indecisive. Price is reasonable $5-6 a piece.
3.5 STARS Date: Friday, August 29th, 2025 Time: around 6:30pm *Strawberry Cream Cheese *Ferreo Rocher *Matcha Tiramisu *Dubai Chocolate *Ube Cheesecake *Coffee Caramel For my birthday, a girlfriend gave me some macarons. She knows I adore them and these were super cute, so she gifted me half a dozen. I'm not 100% sure which flavors I got, but I believe they are the ones above. My favs were the matcha and the strawberry. They were lighter and I'm more of a fruit flavored macaron girl anyways. The filling is a lot, so these are definitely dense. And they use what I believe is a buttercream, so can be very heavy. Luckily the two I liked were lighter. Overall, I found the taste and texture to be okay, but these are very pretty. Rounding up to 4 stars for that. REVIEW #3849
Really cute mom and pop shop for macarons. It's on the side of a main street so parking is a little hard, there is a little parking garage on the side as well. It's a shop where you just grab and go and pay at the front. There were many options to choose from that you can see from the window. I got the Dubai Chocolate, Durian, and Matcha Tiramisu. They were really big and punched with the creme filling of its flavor. Each one was $5.50 which I would say is a decent price since you do get a bigger size. If I'm ever in the area and craving macarons, I would come here!
Oh Honey is one of my favorite dessert spots, I've been coming here since 2021 and love it! I've tried quite a few flavors so far: fruity pebble, cookies and cream, ferrero rocher, green grape, strawberry, tiramisu, strawberry brownie, chocolate brownie, caramel macchiato, pumpkin chocolate, black sesame mochi, durian, ube strawberry, matcha ube shortbread, strawberry cream cheese and creme brulee. My personal favorites are the durian, caramel macchiato, fruity pebble, and black sesame mochi! I do wish the strawberry cream cheese macaron had an actual strawberry, and for the fruity pebble one, it would be nice if there were more cereal mixed into the filling instead of just on the outside since it has a lot of cream. Overall, this place never disappoints. They always come out with fun new flavors for the holidays, so I'll definitely keep coming back. One downside is that the customer service is pretty minima most of the times I visited.
I finally got to try Oh Honey Bakery in Mountain View and it did not disappoint! Their macarons are unlike the typical small ones you find at most places. They're oversized, super stuffed, and packed with flavor. I picked up four flavors to try: Fruity Pebble, Ferrero Rocher, Strawberry Cream Cheese, and Dubai Chocolate. The Fruity Pebble macaron was such a fun classic. The crunchy cereal coating added a nice texture and sweetness that paired perfectly with the creamy filling inside. The Ferrero Rocher macaron was rich and indulgent basically like eating the candy but in macaron form, with that hazelnut-chocolate goodness. The Strawberry Cream Cheese macaron was a nice balance of sweet and tangy, with fresh berry flavor that kept it from being too heavy. My favorite was the Dubai Chocolate macaron super decadent, smooth, and topped with a bit of gold that made it feel extra fancy. Overall, everything tasted fresh and well made, and I loved that they really put thought into making creative flavors that stand out. If you're into macarons, this spot is worth checking out! I will definitely be back for more. :)
I saw the place toooo many times on social media so my friends and I had to go. Was it expensive? Absolutely. $5 a macaron is pretty steep. Was it worth it? Honestly, I would go back. These aren't just regular macaroons. They are stuffed like different creams and toppings with unique flavors. You can tell that they put a lot of effort into making things and picking the right ingredients. It definitely shows. I would recommend coming early because it looks like they sell out. Strawberry cream cheese macaron: 5/5, the strawberry jam inside the macaron was delicious and our favorite part Crème brûlée macaron: 5/5, the top of the macaron was torched and caramelized like a crème brûlée. The sugar coat crunch made this macaron top tier. Matcha tiramisu macaron: 5/5, this one was probably my favorite because I love a strong matcha flavor and this definitely had it. Cookies and cream macaron: 4.5/5, I'm only giving this one a little bit less of a ranking compared to the others because it didn't stand out. It was still good but it didn't compare to the uniqueness and flavors of the other macarons.
Underground parking is available, around 40-50 spaces on P1 (underground) and I'm not sure if P2 is for the ARLO apartment residents only. I chose to "walk-in" (although it's just a storefront/counter at the door with the macarons on display in the window) right after it opened instead of ordering online and only a few flavors were not available. After a few hours in the fridge, the cream becomes firm and the shell a little bit more chewy (not stale though) but leaving it out for around ~40 minutes brought the original texture back. I loved the salted cheese choux in particular - the cream tastes like the cheese foam you can get on milk tea, but with the texture of soft whipped cream. And both of the choux are totally packed with cream! The macarons are all amazing and accurately flavored. The parmesan and garlic cheese cracker macaron is particularly novel and definitely more of a salty experience with a hint of sweet. I'll be ordering online next time to try the Hokkaido milk and green grape choux as well as the creme brulee macaron, and maybe even the durian one!
I learned about Oh Honey Macaron through Tik Tok and was immediately captivated by its lovely presentation and unique flavors. I arrived at the location and was surprised that it was not a sit in cafe, which was the impression I had gotten. Instead, it is a small little shop in which you order at the door and get your treats from the window. I would have definitely preferred some sort of indoor seating but understand there was probably some space constraints. At $5-$6 per macaron, they are on the higher end of the price scale, but they are slightly bigger than your average macaron. I was recommended the matcha macaron and it was quite tasty. Maybe a little heavy on the matcha power at the top, but aside from that, the flavor and texture was quite pleasant. Again, they are slightly pricey, but I will go back and try the other flavors soon!
4.5 stars but rounding up because I enjoyed it so much. Tbh I thought $5 a macaron was a bit excessive but even regular macarons are starting to get to that price now. Oh honey is definitely worth it in presentation and taste. It's filled with delicious firm cream without being overwhelming. I find regular macarons can be too creamy and too sweet at times. Each of oh honey's flavor is true to its name and very distinct. I got durian, ferrero rocher, cookies and cream, Dubai chocolate, and I saw my last one under caramel macchiato but I'm starting to think maybe it's creme brulee cos it tastes like it and has that sugar glaze. I loved each flavor. Durian is the best! The cashier today was so kind and sweet! Actually they don't have durian on display, understandably not everyone likes the smell, I'm so glad she brought it up cos I love durian. Truly the durian isn't overwhelming and there's just enough flavor that it isn't underwhelming either. Very delicate. My only critique is I tried one durian macaron before dinner and the texture was great, everything was fine. After refrigeration for only a few hours, we took out the rest of the macarons for dessert and the texture changed kinda drastically. The shell wasn't as good anymore. We bought all of the macarons and ate all of them the same day so it's not like it was left sitting around. Not sure if they can do something about that.
The cutest and tastiest macarons! While they may seem pricy, they are big and so well thought out. I love the flavors offered and frequently stop by to see the rotated and seasonal offerings. There's also cream puffs that are absolute perfection.
Cute, little macaron shop! Came here on a Saturday and there were about 5 people ahead of us. Line moves pretty fast. There's no seating or anything, you just walk up to a counter, and there's a display case of treats. The service was nothing special, just tell em what you want and they'll pack it for you. We got an assortment of macarons and they were so cute! For $5-6 a macaron, the price isn't cheap, but they are well decorated & full of filling. We enjoyed all the macarons except the Dubai macaron. We also got two cream puffs, and they were just ok! ( can't beat Satura!) Definitely would come once in a while, but won't be in our monthly rotation for desserts.
Very unique stuffed macarons! This is a really small shop, they only have a storefront. You can't go inside but there is a display case with the desserts and you can also see the kitchen where all the magic happens right behind the register. At $5-$6 per macaron, the price is a little high but well worth it as they do not skimp on the filling! The buttercreams inside the macarons are extremely light and not too sweet (which is the best compliment you can receive from an Asian person since we don't like overly sugary things!). The actual macaron itself is crispy on the outside but nice and chewy on the inside. It had the perfect texture every time. Tip: if you store them in the refrigerator make sure you let them sit out for at least 15 minutes before devouring them, otherwise it won't have the correct consistency (cookie being too hard and buttercream being too dense instead of soft due to the cold temperature). Let them sit out! I tried blueberry cheesecake, creme brulee, ferreo rocher, parmesan and garlic cheese cracker, strawberry cream cheese and also the newest flavor as of July 2025, lemon sugar cookie. The only one I was not a fan of was the [blueberry cheesecake] as it did not have a strong enough blueberry flavor, it just tasted sweet. The cheesecake was good and not too decadent which I appreciated! Try the parmesan and garlic cheese cracker, you'd assume that this one tastes like that weird artificial squirtable cheese in a can, but it doesn't! It tastes a little cheesy while still being slightly sweet and it works so well. I've never had a savory macaron before but I was not disappointed when this was my first one! Definitely support this small business. These come beautifully packaged and would wow anyone, perfect for a great gift! I'm coming back to try their dubai chocolate macaron!

I've been a loyal customer at Oh Honey since 2023! I'm shocked seeing anyone call these macarons too small or expensive for the price, but only basing that off of personal opinion without doing comps. Maison Alyzee: $2.85/macaron Alexander's Patisserie: $3.75/ macaron Oh Honey: $5/macaron Prices are clearly higher here, but I've bought macarons from all three of these places. The first 2 have way less filling and the macaron cookie size itself is also smaller. Theirs are ~1.5" in diameter with maybe 1.5 tsp of only filling. Oh Honey is ~2" in diameter with ~1.5 TBSP of filling as well as extras like cheesecake/chocolates/crackers/etc. Macarons are and always have been an expensive luxury pastry, due to the technical difficulty and pricey ingredients. The love and care that the bakers at Oh Honey have for their craft is clear! They play around with unique experimental flavors or cute seasonal designs. Although they have other baked goods, I believe that their macarons are the stars here. I've given them as gifts to nurses, friends, and coworkers and they are always received with childlike joy and excitement. TLDR: Oh Honey's macarons are huge, well crafted, and often adorable. Worth every penny for what you get. Favs: Creme Brulee Blueberry cheesecake Lemon cheesecake Grape read more
I was introduced to Oh Honey Macaron thanks to my Little. With my daughter being so in love with macarons, her Fairy GODmama made it a must to stop by and grab a few sweets for her sweet.... Here you will find the most beautiful, elegant, and aesthetically pleasing treats. There are a wide variety of flavors such as: tiramisu, blueberry cheesecake, ferrero rocher, durian, matcha tiramisu, earl grey biscoff, + dubai strawberry chocolate. Just to name a few! Purchases: *FRUITY PEBBLE MACARON *FERRERO ROCHER MACARON First off, pricing is a little bit high given the size. The macarons are filled with cream giving you a bigger look than what it actually is. With that said, certain flavorings requires pricier ingredients which can justify of the costs. The bakery is great when it comes to providing authentically crisp outer shell and the chewy, airy, center that is typically expected. 4 stars overall for Oh Honey Macaron. This joint absolutely hits the nail on the mark when it comes to CUTESY, Instagram worthy sandwiched pastries. read more

You can find parking at a small lot nearby or across the street. It's a window shop and grab and go place. You can't walk inside the store so I can't write much about ambience here. The service was lacking - worker couldn't even say Hi or Thanks you back to me. Macarons are super beautiful and good texture, but the cream tasted way similar to a block of butter with light sweetness. Could not get to eat all the cream from a single macaron because it felt like eating straight butter read more

On a calm Monday morning, my partner and I wanted a sweet treat, so we made our way over to oh honey macaron. This place has been getting a lot of hype recently, and it was good but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again. I tried the tiramisu, matcha, ferrero rocher and biscoff. The flavors and textures were pretty nice, but I do wish the cream was a little softer as it was more of a thicker frosting. Anyways, this is a solid option, and the price is a lot but macarons are a labor of love. read more
Parking was in a parking garage it was small and closed by. It was smaller than I expected. The store was purchase only. The macaroon flavors varied and it looked like good choices. I wish I got here earlier a lot of the options were gone. But they were decently sized, aesthetically pleasing and pretty good. I'd like to come back for their seasonal flavors. read more
Wow this has to be the best macaron I've had in the bay! They are so big so they are def worth the price! The Ferraro Roche and strawberry were my favorites. They were sweet but not too sweet and the frosting inside was delicious. read more
Oh Honey has been trending on social media and I had to try them out! The area has a good amount of parking on the side and more into the garage. As for the shop itself, you order outside with the display of macarons set up on the side. There's no indoor area as it's solely only for staff and kitchen. Looks like a cute little apartment on the inside! The macarons itself weren't anything too impressive. Don't get me wrong, they look amazing and super aesthetic but I was a bit disappointed with the taste. The macaron shells were pretty stale, the opened ones were hard to eat and the filling for most, if not all, were all buttercream. Personally I am not a big fan of buttercream so biting into a big cold block of it on the fruity pebbles caught me off guard :( However, I did appreciate that the cream was not too sweet overall. Most of the macarons were $5 and the Dubai Chocolate one was $6. Not a bad price given they're filled well and intricate but it does add up if you want to try more! Overall, I wish I enjoyed Oh Honey taste wise as appealing as it did visually. And if you don't like buttercream, I don't recommend getting the macarons! However, I do wonder what their other desserts taste like as well. read more

$5 per macaron, definitely on the pricier side. Macarons are naturally gluten free but they add things like teddy grahams and ferrero rocher. So the only gluten free one i was able to eat was the caramel macchiato macaron. This tasted good, had a nice coffee taste. read more

I came here and noticed they didn't have much to choose from which was a bummer. I came early too but I guess she was still working on some. I stood there for a few minutes before I was helped or noticed. You don't go inside it's literally just at the door and her shop is her baking area. The macaroons were good size. I got the crème brûlée and the fruity pebbles and they were good macarons but nothing that stands out tbh. I thought I could order online and get it same day but guess it doesn't work that way and you would get it the next day if you order online. Okay spot to try out if you are in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to go here. read more
All of the ones we've gotten were extremely delicious. The only one that was hard to eat was the forrero one because biting down is a bit difficult with it there and made a mess. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth going and trying. Parking is a bit difficult and what's in stock can vary the time of day you go! It does satisfy the cravings and it tastes as good as it looks. read more

Oh Honey Macaron is tucked away, but definitely worth seeking out. They have some of the most creative flavors I've seen. Every macaron has a vibrant, eye-catching design, and the shells are perfectly chewy with flavorful fillings. You can tell they put a lot of care into each one. A must-visit for any dessert lover or anyone looking to try something a little different and fun! Be aware that they run out of flavors pretty fast so there may be slim pickin's. read more

I haven't been to the actual store but I saw their stand at a food festival and I was so excited to try their things! I even came back the next day to see if they had more items and they did! The girls are so sweet and helpful! Pistachio macaron 10/10 great flavor, great texture, and cute froggy design hehe Strawberry cream cheese cream puff 7/10 not my personal favorite because I didn't realize it was cream cheese. Not their fault though! Plain cream puff 8/10 great cream, a little bit dry pastry but overall solid. Roast duck taro paste 10/10 okay I love roast duck and also taro paste, but I never thought of these flavors together?? It was delicious. Great savory sweet treat! Pork floss cake with taro paste cream puff 10/10 pricier than the roast duck but oh my gosh I got this just to try because it's so strange?? But turned out to be delicious so no regrets whatsoever!! Soft cake covered in pork floss, great taro paste, and an unexpected custardy (?) cream filling in the puff! Such an odd combo of textures and flavors but it worked really well! read more

Delicious desserts! We loved the sweet treats the spot has and there's a small patio area with nice tables, just know that there's very limited seating. There's also drinks if you're interested and a small vending area. The taro paste was great, and I regret not getting others to try. Service is counter service, and fast (grab your desired treat and hand it to you). Would recommend if you're craving sweet while enroute in the area. read more

Such a sweet little bakery with tasty treats! I was looking for some dessert and stumbled upon this bakery. They have a little parking lot to their right, but other than that street parking is a bit limited. The store itself is very small, and there isn't much seating, but the staff are really sweet and helpful. I was just there to get a cream puff, but I signed up for their rewards system and somehow got a box of free macarons. Their prices are pretty reasonable- choux is $5 and macarons are also $5 with discounts for bundle purchases. I got the tiramisu choux and an assortment of their macaron flavors. Choux was flaky and the cream had a yummy mascarpone flavor. I wasn't a big fan of the amount of cocoa/coffee powder, but the taste overall was pretty good. I've been slowly working my way through the macarons and have only tried the strawberry so far. It's not very sweet and has a cream cheese filling with strawberry jam. Good macaron texture and overall good if you're a fan of cream cheese. Would recommend trying this place out, and I'll be coming back to try some more of their flavors! read more
I have a big sweet tooth, so I was happy to find Oh Honey, a walk away from the main Castro street. They have holiday items at the time of this review (Dec 2023). I liked all their flavor combinations and presentation for the macarons and choux pastries. I felt like I was walking into a FoodNetwork competition. My favorites were the muscat and matcha Christmas tree macaron. Everything was so good and not super sweet. It was quite addicting o try each of them and share, so I'll be back soon. This is a female-owned, small business that keeps the city unique, so it's great to support them! read more

Macaron is delicious! And they are so cute! The shop was not near my house so it's not usual for me to drive my way there but I got to get some macaron at valley fair mall. I went to get the cream puff on the weekends they have the promotion of buy one get one free. I got to try different flavors and honestly they are not very impressive at all. We love the macarons way more than the cream puff but glad to have a chance to try them out with a promotion price. Will definitely back for more macarons! read more

I was excited to try the choux here! I tried the Salted Cheese and the Creme Brulee flavors. They were heavenly! So creamy and filled with lots of custard. Very well made; the pastry was thin. They actually scorched the creme brulee for us upon order t KEEP IN MIND: There is retail parking in the garage behind the building. They accept Venmo as form of payment! read more
