The vegan cake for our baby shower came out really well, very yummy, and looked very pretty with the decoration. All the guests loved it and were surprised to know that it's vegan, and were asking me the shop's name. Thank you so much for the amazing cake

Vanilla cake with mango glaze
Sunny L.

I ordered a 1lb vegan cake for my husband's birthday recently. It was a vegan vanilla cake with mango glaze and some strawberries and blueberries for decoration. The flavor was great and the texture was so soft and amazing. I normally don't even eat icing on cakes but this time I did. I wish they put a few more fruits on top but other than that, service was good and cake was great. The store was pretty cute too. I would order from them again! :) Thanks guys!

We got a last minute, small wedding cake from Mr Cake to celebrate our civil wedding. The cake was vanilla and strawberry and it was one of the best cakes we have had in a while! I recommend Mr Cake for its freshness, flavor and reliability. He was very attentive and helpful to get us what we wanted. We will be ordering again in the future.

Mango cake 1lb

Best mango cake!!! I decided to try this bakery after I was last mung looking for a place to buy my mom a birthday cake and I ordered it and they said they could make it that same day. It's really good the mango purée is so good and for it being a cake it was not too sweet. I'm glad I took a chance and everybody loved it. Will definitely be coming back.

Customized mocha cake

This place has the best eggless cakes in the bay area. They are very accommodating and they make sure that they deliver your order on time and they are one of the few bakeries who would call you on the day of event and remind you that you have a pick up with them regardless of if you have made the payment before or not. Their snacks also taste amazing. I think before writing this review I have tried each and every cake from them and we order cakes four times a year for some or the other celebrations/ parties and for each of those times cake is from this place.

Black Forest Cake
Arvind S.

Got their Black Forest cake for my roommate's birthday because she loves a Black Forest and the reviews for that were outstanding here. It was great. Usually we don't happen to finish birthday cake's on the night we first cut them but this was over in a jiffy. "Not too sweet", as they say and pretty authentic. We've also tried some of their other flavors through the pastries and I'd rate them pretty high. Love the Butterscotch as well. Want to try the Pistachio next, and maybe a customized design next time? Actually had a cricket themed cake at another birthday and they had made that well too. Owner was friendly, and the cake was ready ahead of time. Ordered a day ahead. Also tried some of the puffs (veg, paneer) and they were good. Very good business serving high quality cakes!

Stopped by after a Safeway run. Got 2 puff pastries, ine egg and one of the curry ones. The tablet ordering was down so I ordered it with the front counter guy. It was quick and I brought it home and reheated them in the airfryer. They were sooooooo delicious! A great little snack! Will be back to try out more of their pastries. Didnt get a chance to try any of their cakes though.

Mango Cake

I have ordered cakes from here a couple of times! Recently ordered the mango cake and it was delicious. Absolutely soft and moist and not too sweet.

Mango and chocolate
Linda D.

I bought 5 slices of cakes that were available today, mango, pistachio, butter scotch, pineapple and chocolate. Owner Santoso is super friendly and accommodating. I am looking for a cake for a birthday party, this the tasting. There were not that many cakes on display but Santoso went back inside the kitchen to get me all cakes he had. That was nice. Other than the chocolate, the cakes have the same taste, color, light, not too sweet, and...taste the same. The chocolate actually is about the same but in chocolate color. The mango, to me, had an artificial flavor. The butterscotch is probably has slightly different taste because of the crunch of butterscotch candy. Owner claims that he uses only the fresh ingredients (out of bottle??). I was expecting that the mango cake will at least have some real mango, either in decor or bits and pieces inside, the same with the pineapple., instead you only got the "flavoring" taste.

However, we got a table in 15 mins. The service here is super fast. The first item we received was Pineapple Lihing juice which was perfectly sweet and spicy. It reminded us of the same juice we had at Kauai, HI. The next item was Point Reyes which had the right amount of spicy kick. The mushroom and avocado added in it also tasted fresh. The Spicy Garlic Ramen was sour and tangy and had great aftertaste. It isn't too heavy due to the broth, though tasty and was not as thick as what you get at Ramen Nagi. Then we got Eggplant and Gobo Maki. I liked the Gobo Maki as it was different had some sweetness to it. The Mrs, who's a Japanese cuisine connoisseur ate the Eggplant and Monterey which she liked (and I didn't) Overall a great place for the experience of vegan Sushi. One drawback I would say is the sushi has too much rice and is bigger than an authentic sushi you get at a Japanese sushi restaurant. Also the price point is on the higher side which makes it an occasional place to go. My ratings: Point Reyes - 4.5/5 Spicy Garlic Ramen - 4/5 Monterey - 2/5 for me and 5/5 for my wife Eggplant - 3/5 for my wife Gobo Maki - 3.5/5 Pineapple Lihing juice - 4.5/5 Overall rating 3.5/5

I got their ja jang mien, and I really liked it--especially the thick, chewy noodles! My coworker got General Tso's, and we also got some veggie dumplings to share. The dumplings were a bit on the bland side, but otherwise good. Service was relatively quick. The interior is clean and well kept (I guess more than you'd think looking at the little strip it is part of), and the wait staff are friendly. The parking lot for the strip mall this is in is on the small side, though, and may be tough to find parking during the lunch rush if you don't arrive early (and I would highly suggest carpooling). Tasty and friendly, I need to remember to suggest this place for lunch more often over the closer places we tend to think of first! I will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the customer service left a lot to be desired. I arrived shortly after they opened, and there was no greeting or acknowledgment when I walked in, even though the restaurant was empty. When I approached the counter to pick up my order, I gave the name it was under. Instead of confirming the order or asking any questions, the first thing I heard from the cook was, "Get her card first." The cashier then immediately said, "Give me your card." Only after my payment was processed did they hand me my food and say, "Thank you." I completely understand that businesses need to protect themselves and ensure orders are paid for before they're released. That's not the issue. It's the way it was handled. As a customer, it felt like I was being treated as if I might take the food and run, rather than being welcomed into a local, family-owned business. A simple greeting, confirming the order, and then politely requesting payment would have made all the difference. Great customer service and protecting your business can absolutely go hand in hand. The food was outstanding, but the experience made me feel unwelcome. Sadly, because of the customer service, I don't see myself returning.

Could not stop eating it. $17 8/5 Mezze plate - the coconut feta was very creamy and good, I really enjoyed the pomegranate arugula salad with pickled onion and with the pieces of falafel inside. The flatbread was a little hard, but good. The eggplant was good and hummus also good. $32 price a little steep for the platter 6/5 Impossible cheeseburger - classic impossible burger. The standout item was the fries, quite good! This location was much more peaceful compared to the Palo Alto location. I stopped by on a Saturday evening, and there were only a couple tables that were occupied. I will say I feel like the portion sizes here are noticeably smaller than those at the Palo Alto location. This might be because all of the orders are packed to-go, so maybe there's less space for food? For instance, the thali from the Palo Alto location includes a side salad, which was not included in my order here. The other sides (pickled salad and daal lentil), along with the entree, were also significantly smaller here. The prices are the same, so I do think the Palo Alto dishes are more worth it.
