I recommend this business for Keto friendly treats that taste good. The owner is also very accommodating with great customer service.

I had ordered my dad's birthday cake from here back in 2024 (salted yolk/pork sung/matcha mix…read morecake), and it was absolutely delicious! This time I decided to stop by here after dinner, my first time sitting down here and ordering. The inside is very clean, modern, and Pinterest-like. They added more decorations and seating from 2 years ago, making the inside more aesthetic. whaT's More always has unique Asian flavors, like durian, earl grey, pandan, red bean, and oolong. The cakes are not too sweet, so definitely Asian parent approved haha! Unfortunately, when we came around 6:30pm, they were sold out of most flavors - so would definitely recommend coming earlier or just ordering online earlier in the morning for pickup. We got the sesame dark chocolate crepe cake. When you eat in the store, the owner provides you with free cups of tea, which are really great for washing down the cake. The chocolate was super rich, and they did not skimp out on the flavor - super chocolatey. The sesame added such a fun earthy and nutty flavor - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The cake is on the slightly denser side, so was super filling. While on the pricier side, the flavors are super unique and the craft that goes into crepe cakes is commendable. I will be ordering my next cake from here again!

The strawberry crepe cake was good. The strawberries are fresh and a bit tangy so it wasn't too sweet. I thought the creme brule sample i had was better. I'll come back to try other flavors. *i came around 4 and a lot of things were gone, i suggest coming early!

Ordering is also super easy with their touchscreen kiosks, which I always appreciate. The texture and flavor of their bingsu are on point. The ice is incredibly soft and fluffy with that melt-in-your-mouth consistency you want from a good bingsu. I ordered the mango, and every component was great--the mango was fresh, the toppings complemented everything well, and there was a good balance of fruit and sweetness without being overwhelming. My only small complaint is that I usually love getting both strawberry and mango bingsu, but they don't offer split flavors. Ordering two separate bingsu is just way too much, so I wish there were an option to do half and half. That minor gripe aside, the quality of the bingsu itself easily makes this a 5/5 for me. Great texture, fresh toppings, plenty of seating, and an easy ordering process. Definitely a spot I'd happily come back to whenever I'm craving bingsu!

Not only does it get really busy after work hours, many parking spots are reserved for other businesses. It's also usually crowded inside, making snagging a seat a bit hard. It's a popular spot, and I can see why--the menu features many different bingsoo options alongside other desserts, and they're all very beautiful and cute. There's also free WiFi and bathroom access. I will note that they don't seem particularly diligent about cleaning up between customers. You pick your own seats, and when I finally found a table, there was food residue visible on the tabletop. Their prices are a little higher than some other spots in SJ (ranging from ~$13 to $19 pre-tax), and I don't think the quality of the bingsoo is noticeably better to justify the price. I tried a pricier one (the premium strawberry), and found it to be quite good, but not $20 good. Plus, some aspects seem designed more for pictures than for eating. The little cheesecake slice is a bit hard because it's cold and difficult to eat with the shaved ice. That said, their bingsoo does taste good! The fruit tasted fresh and sweet, and the portion was enough for me to share with my partner. I wish the condensed milk was provided on the side instead of already poured on top, but I didn't mind the amount they gave. I may not be back immediately in the future, but I wouldn't mind visiting again. I would probably stick to the lower-priced options myself, though. If you visit, do keep in mind that it's usually really busy--your order probably will take a minute, and whether that's worth it or not is up to you.

The shop has a bright, clean interior with a casual atmosphere that makes it an easy place to stop for a refreshing dessert. Seeing stacks of fresh mangoes behind the counter immediately gave me confidence that the fruit would be one of the highlights of the experience. The mango desserts were easily the best part of my visit. I tried the Pomelo & Mango with Sago, which combined sweet mango, creamy coconut milk, chewy sago, and fresh pomelo for a refreshing balance of flavors and textures. I also enjoyed the Mango Chewy Ball, where the fresh mango and smooth mango juice paired perfectly with the soft, chewy rice balls. Both desserts felt light while still being satisfying, making them a great option on a warm day. I also had the chance to try a few of the other menu items. The mango mochi was fresh and soft, with ripe mango wrapped inside a delicate chewy layer. For something different, the spicy chili fish balls offered a savory contrast to the fruit desserts, adding a bit of heat and a springy texture that balanced out all of the sweetness. The ordering process was quick and straightforward, and my food arrived not long after I found a table. The dining area was clean and comfortable, and small touches like providing wet wipes made the experience feel a little more thoughtful. It is the kind of place where you can stop in for a quick dessert or stay a little longer while sharing a few different items with friends. Overall, Hui Lau Shan is a great spot for anyone looking for fresh, fruit-forward desserts with authentic Hong Kong flavors. The quality of the mangoes, the variety of textures, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a place I would happily return to whenever I was craving something refreshing.

They give you the option to put double matcha (for the honey matcha latte) which is a plus! The double shot of matcha and the honey pairs really well together. It has the perfect amount of sweetness and a perfect amount of matcha to make it taste rich without being bitter. The strawberry matcha latte has strawberry puree and strawberry bits which makes it taste really sweet. It's a really good contrast of flavors and an overall solid strawberry matcha latte. They also updated the self-ordering kiosk with 2 instead of one now, so there's barely any lines now compared to when they first opened. The drinks are a lot quicker so you don't have to wait too long. There's also no seats inside but there's plenty of waiting space on the outside patio! Overall I would highly recommend this place for matcha lovers. Their matcha is super rich in flavor and they have a lot of options. Sometimes, they also have matcha powder in stock too! The spot is also right off of 280 so it's pretty convenient.

My first experience was pretty mid because the ceremonial matcha latte was VERY strong and bitter. I couldn't finish it and it made me super jittery. After coming back a few more times though, I found a couple things I really liked. The Crème Brûlée Matcha was delicious. I finished the entire drink. You can't change the sweetness level, which is unfortunate, but their recommended sweetness actually balanced the stronger matcha really well. The ice cream is probably the best thing here. Super creamy, perfectly sweet and really well blended. I would honestly come back just for the ice cream. The strawberry matcha latte was pretty unmemorable to me, and the hojicha was also extremely bitter. Service was good. The barista was kind and helpful, which I appreciated. You order through a kiosk, so there isn't a ton of interaction overall. When I first came around their opening, there was basically no line. After they started getting more hype, the lines became longer and longer. I think it's worth trying, but personally I wouldn't wait in a huge line for it. Overall, the matcha itself tastes authentic and is prepared well, but some drinks are just too bitter for my preference. My recommendations: the ice cream or Crème Brûlée Matcha. Those were easily the standouts for me.

This spot is a takeaway counter only and shares the space and kitchen with Mayan Kitchen. You order at one of the electronic touchscreen screens and wait for your order. There's a rewards membership program here with Toasttab too. My review of the pork belly jianbing: Very flavorful and filling. The pork was sliced in thin slivers and marinated in a sweet and savory sauce. There were crispy wonton skins and cilantro in the filling too. The crepe wrapper itself had a chewy and pliant mouthfeel. Passionfruit tea that came with the combo was a bit sweeter than I'd prefer, especially since the pork belly marinade was already sweet. But the iced tea was refreshing on a warm sunny afternoon. I would come back to try other filling options for their jianbing when I'm in the area.
