Debbie was a treasure to work with! Her cakes and desserts far exceeded our expectations. We got married on May 6th 2023, and one of the most important things for us was to have a cake and dessert table that tasted as good as it looked. We're not big on traditional cakes, but we love pies and cheesecakes. So we knew we had to hunt down a baker that could make this happen. Our tasting was a blast! We got to sample homemade fillings, custards, 2 different variations of tres leches, chocolate decadance... you name it and she'll make it! Debbie was open to trying new things and attempted to bake even some of the non-traditional requests that she typically gets. She's funny, kind and very talented. When you walk into her kitchen she makes you feel at home. She gives off loving mom vibes with her apron covered in flour and her cute jokes. We ultimately fell in love with her strawberry filling cheesecake. We had a rough idea of what it was going to look like; a modern design with specks of gold, florals and our doggie cake topper- hand drawn on paper. We recommend emailing her inspo pics so she knows exactly what the vision is. The finished cake was gorgeous and delicious, and the price cannot be beat. Our dessert table looked phenomenal! We had requested to have to-go boxes for our guests but everything was eaten by the end of the night. HIGHLY recommend you reach out to Debbie for your upcoming wedding.
My husband and I used Debbie for our wedding cake a while ago and she did an incredible job! I used her again recently (2025) for my birthday cake and she did an amazing job! Not only are her cakes beautifully designed but they're also delicious. Literally some of the best tasting cakes Ive had. Awesome customer service as well. My husband and I love love love Debbie and her cakes! She is very responsive and prioritizes your vision, and will go over any alternatives or options with you. She avoids using too much artificial ingredients/food colorings, so you can trust her with the quality of the cakes. We tried tasting various flavors for the wedding cake, and chose to go with the three flavors: Toasted Almond, Half-original half-chocolate cheesecake, and Tiramisu. The 160+ wedding guests were all raving over the cakes, especially the Toasted Almond! The other flavors we loved during the tasting were carrot cake and lemon poppy. They delivered the cakes to our wedding venue and made sure everything was perfect. Because we just loved her cakes, we had asked her to bake our gender reveal cupcakes on a short notice. She was super flexible and went above and beyond to meet our requests. They were delicious and the inside pink filling was strawberry-flavored and especially yummy! Debbie is super sweet and we would highly recommend if anyone is looking for a cake vendor!! She never fails to impress.
Debbie has done my son's birthday cakes for the past four years, Spiderman this year. She does such a fabulous job, is very accommodating, and the cakes taste amazing! These are the cakes over the years - we will continue to use Debbie for our kids birthdays!

Bravo! I used Debbie at Not Just Cheesecakes for my daughters wedding. She is so easy to work with...really puts your mind at ease. Her desserts are to die for! She was detailed in her communication's really made you feel like your order is just as special as anyone else's. Not Just Cheesecakes was suggested to us by an acquaintance and after trying 3-4 other bakeries, we realized the perfect baker we wanted was right in front of us all along! Not only Debbie is local to us (something that was important to us), she is a phenomenal baker. Our consultation with her and tastings were great. One thing that played a key role in our decision is her pricing policy. It's not by number of tiers but by number of guests. We found it very fair way to determine pricing! She patiently answered all our questions and made us a perfect nature themed cake as per the design we requested. We opted for Traditional White with Orange filling and Toasted Almond flavors. Both were a big hit at our wedding! We have preserved the top now for our first anniversary and already cannot wait to eat it!!
Debbie made this amazing huge Rubrik cube cake for my son's birthday that was even off set to show off the unsolved layers. DEBBIE IS A GENIUS ...in the kitchen and on design! she baked, designed, and decorated without a shadow of a doubt THE BEST FRIGGIN WEDDING CAKE we could ever hoped to have for our wedding! THREE flavors!!! personal custom design! she was even so awesome to let us taste her creations by well, YOU have to just schedule with her and find out for yourself ....if you're planning a SPECIAL occassion and are looking for THE BEST, Debbie is just that and her artwork in baking IMO absolutely is unmatched, extraordinary and down right BEAUTIFUL!!! ..believe me, im not your typical cat who wants to just say some ish on a review platform. we booked some tastings, sat down and ran some numbers with a few establishments ...Debbie provides a service that is way above and beyond...and she is just a very cool person with a great personality to work with.
I have nothing but good things to say about Debbie and not just cheesecakes. The only problem I had was when I went to do my tastings for my wedding I liked all of the cake options way too much so it was hard to choose! I ended up choosing three different flavors one for each layer of the cake and my guests loved it! The cake that she made was beautiful and she even decorated it with flowers provided by my florist and lent me a gold cake stand to use for the wedding. Debbie is one of the most kind sincere people I have ever met, and I would not hesitate to choose her for any other event requiring a cake that I may have.
Debbie is Such a Warm Soul. It was wonderful meeting her in person. My family and friends were totally Astonished when we saw the Cakes. The Cakes looked Fantastic. Debbie is such an artist with great knowledge and Experience. The cakes speak for itself. The Enhancements she added to the cakes shows her Passion & Dedication for the work she do. Can't thank her enough for how special She made our Joint Birthday celebration with her creations. Dhrish loved his Car Cake and couldn't wait to play with his car. This bakery was recommended to us by relatives and Debbie was amazing! We were looking for a 3 tiered wedding cake. We went to her shop for a taste testing and due to covid, we had to take the samples home and taste it ourselves. But for the samples, she made mini cakes customized to exactly what I wanted - the type of cake, type of frosting and type of filling. She even gave me a sample of other frostings/fondant to try on the side. Her cakes are customized down to the inch and it tasted AMAZING! She is really sweet and will listen to all of your requests including the decorations on the cake. Her prices are very reasonable and she even gives you a one-year anniversary cake! We can't wait for that!

I've had this bookmarked for years and I walk past this place almost every Sunday (Campbell's Farmer's Market) but unfortunately, this isn't a brick and mortar storefront. I've read great reviews and a few negative reviews but I'm the type that will try a bookmark or random place out regardless of the reviews and its star rating; everyone has different expectations. After realizing it would be a hassle to bake my own cheesecake, I turned to Yelp for the rescue. Of course when you think about cheesecakes, Cheesecake Factory comes to mind right away and while their cheesecakes are great, I wanted something different, something local, something spectacular... I called w/ just a day in advance - Debbie called me back right away and was able to secure the order for the next day. Upon looking at the website, you can see that this bakery is bustling w/ wedding orders and birthday orders but what had me drawn to the place in general is the cheesecake. If you notice, the photos uploaded are not cheesecakes and 99.9% of the reviews written are for wedding cakes and birthday cakes..... still, I was determined to give this place a try. After reviewing the website, I was sold on the White Chocolate (cheesecake) w/ the Chocolate Cookie crust but when I was on the phone w/ Debbie, I ordered the white chocolate but she did not ask me what kind of crust I wanted and to tell you the truth, I completely forgot about it. I know that Kevin likes white chocolate, he likes cheesecake, and so I was just going by that... once she asked if I wanted a topping, I was skeptical but once I told her he likes peanut butter, she gestured peanut butter buttercream - SOLD! For a 6" it is $25. Method of payments accepted: cash and checks, not Visa/MC, folks. When I arrived, she showed me the cheesecake. I was thinking of a Cheesecake Factory replica but goodness gracious, the presentation of the cheesecake was just lovely! It was so simple yet so elegant at the same time. She told me that this cheesecake is a white chocolate cheesecake w/ peanut butter buttercream, peanut butter crumbles, and w/ a chococolate shortbread crust. I seriously wanted to take the picture and upload it right away but I didn't want to spoil the surprise seeing as how he was due to arrive in less than an hour. His actual words, "One of the best cheesecakes I've had" and "It's very rich". Thank you, Debbie for this wonderful cheesecake. It was a great birthday treat for him. Debbie is THE BEST. We wanted a small bride and groom cake and a bunch of other tasty desserts. I have a huge sweet tooth so good desserts were very important to me. Debbie let us pick up a bunch of desserts for a tasting, and they were all SO delicious it was hard to choose which ones we wanted. Our guests loved everything (especially the pies on a stick). I love baking, but we will definitely go out of our way to find opportunities to use Debbie in the future. Amazing desserts, and she was so friendly and wonderful. read more

We got a 6" cake for our sons cake smash and the cake was absolutely adorable. She knows her work and will make every way possible to make what you want. The cake looked absolutely beautiful for the photographs and tasted very nice. Just one thing that needed work was the softness of the cake. It was tad bit on the dryer side but no impact on the flavor. We would definitely recommend her and get more cakes in the future. read more

Debbie made a spectacular Baby Smash Cake for my granddaughter's 1st Birthday! It was delicious and so beautiful and beyond my expectations. She even made it with applesauce so baby wouldn't eat too much sugar. I just expected 2 layers, but when we cut away the "smashed" part, I was shocked to see 6 beautiful layers with filling. It's clear Debbie is an artist and cares about her craft. And her prices are more than fair. I am very lucky someone recommended her. read more

Went to the shop directly but she couldn't take my order since was going for delivery of another cake. After a couple of days I finally got a hold of them. After this part everything went well. Debbie made two cakes for my two separate wedding celebrations. Both cakes had to be gluten free bc my mother in law is gluten intolerant. Both cakes were absolutely stunningly gorgeous and so on point for the aesthetic I was aiming for. I'm an artist and really picky when it comes to design aesthetics. She nailed it! Additionally, the flavors were delicious (not just tasty for a gluten free cake but indistinguishable from and delectable as a gluten cake). I LOOOOOVE this place!! The owner, Debbie, is a wonderful person to work with! She's super creative and will help bring your vision to life. Her work was above and beyond how I pictured my wedding cake to be. My now husband and I dreamed of having a five tier pillow shaped cake. When I saw the cake for the first time at my reception I was amazed. It was gorgeous! Super elegant with lots of detail. She even made a topper that replicated our wedding rings. There was even a beautiful silver cake platform that just made the cake that much better. Unfortunately, there is no bakery store front for this place. I would come here all the time to try her cakes and cheesecakes. The toasted almond cake we ordered was to die for! Pick this flavor for your cake! Consider yourself to be in the lucky group if you're so fortunate to have Debbie create and design your cake for you. It's true that she is hard to get ahold, but she's essentially a one person operation. She has a set day to answer all her email and return calls. If you're patient and willing to wait, then you'll be blessed with her talent. My wife loved her when we first met for our consultation. She wasn't my first choice based on the cake tasting portion but she definitely made an impression on me. She had a great sense of humor and was very personable. What sold me finally was that she told stories of various couples and weddings she baked cakes for. No one else, during cake tasting, told stories and named the names of the brides and grooms like Debbie did. We sat around and tasted her cakes while looking at her photo albums of all the photos she took of her cakes. She told us stories about some of the cakes in the photos and remembered the names of the groom and bride. Her cake was not my first choice, only due to the fact that I prefer Asian types of cakes that are lighter in texture and contains less sugar. My wife and I chose her to bake our wedding cake. We gave her some ideas of what we wanted, which was a simplistic minimal clean look with buttercream, some fondant for design, and fresh flowers. We wanted her to make our topper but she suggested we hit up Etsy and have an expert create our topper. That turned out to be an excellent idea. Throughout the process Debbie was always available to respond to our questions via email. She made us additional mini cakes, on two occasions, to allow us to try other flavors she offered so we could decide on the 3 flavors we wanted for our 4 tier cake. We couldn't have been more pleased with the final design of the cake and the cake tasted fabulous. Everything came out the way we expected it would come out with her cake. She was so generous that she baked us a 6 layer cake for our bottom tier. Go with Debbie if you want to feel like you're part of her family. How many bakers do you know who give hugs and kisses? She was always so cheery around us and made us laugh with her funny jokes. For our flavors we ended up choosing toasted almond cake, pumpkin cake with cheesecake filling and chocolate ganache, and chiffon cake with raspberry puree and chocolate ganache. read more

The second my husband and I cut into our wedding cake, I immediately knew I had to write a review for Debbie ASAP. My cake was not only beautiful, but so SO delicious. We had a decent sized 3 layered cake and 100 cupcakes with 3 flavors to choose from - Red Velvet, Mango, and Chocolate Raspberry. Each cake was moist and not too sweet - I dare say, perhaps the best cake I ever had. We had so many people telling us the cake was so good. Most importantly, Debbie was so amazing to work with. She was very professional and responsive to all of our ideas, comments and concerns. She genuinely cared about what we wanted and strived to give us exactly that. And that she did (see picture). My husband and I live in New York, so most of our planning was done either via phone or email. Despite the long distance, Debbie always had great communication with us. MMMM....one layer of tiramisu cheesecake & one layer of lemon covered in chocolate fondant. It was a true centerpiece for my father's 70th birthday bash. Everyone LOVED not only the looks of the decadent masterpiece but the taste. Debbie was fun to work with and had great ideas. She really took her time with me and I felt like I was part of the process. I have no hesitation in recommending her fabulous cakes, plus her prices are very reasonable. We asked Debbie to do our wedding cake (super simple) with mini fruit filled cupcakes. It turned out AWESOME. Tasted fantastic. Looked cute. and turns out... mini is the perfect bite size taste most people want after a huge meal. We had a fusion indian/american wedding, so we wanted to incorporate mango into the desert without it being mango ice cream. Debbie's mini cupcakes with mango filling were perfect.
