I came around 6:50PM on a Saturday and there was a small line for the order kiosk. After I ordered, there were a limited number of seats since people tend to hangout in friend groups and treat it as their 3rd space, so be prepared to fight for a table if you're coming during peak times. I sat down and realized they were a whole 10+ orders behind, meaning I waited at least 25mins before getting my bingsu! I ordered a honeydew yogurt bingsu and it was $20. Inflation may be a little crazy, but this was a little above what I was expecting. It came with about 1/2's worth of honeydew. The bowl was not topped with bingsu, and I felt like there are more melons than bingsu (not ok). There were some sweet cheese pieces inside (yummy), some unsweetened frozen yogurt, and the rest was yogurt flavored bingsu. Although healthy, the bingsu itself was NOT sweet enough and I felt sick after eating so much unsweetened yogurt. I wish they gave us a cup of condensed milk like they do at every other bingsu place... Service was slow and everything is self serve, from getting your bingsu at the front to bussing your tray. I do believe there are other bingsu spots in Bay Area that give a similar experience with more variety and better pricing. I do not look forward to waiting almost 30min after spending $20 for a bingsu that's only half bingsu with honeydew layered on top.

We ordered two cakes: pandan raspberry and a tiramisu. Both were really well layered but it tasted like the tiramisu had far more cake layers than the pandan raspberry. The pandan raspberry was more raspberry with minimal pandan flavor. The tiramisu tasted just like its name and was great! Both were very lightly sweet cakes, and it was surprisingly easy for my friend and I to devour two slices and still feel ready for dinner later. I wouldn't get the pandan raspberry again, but would be willing to try other slices with how the tiramisu was. The downside is the cakes are pricey. And it feels the interior can't decide if it's trying to be minimal on purpose, or the furnishings were meant for a smaller space/grab-and-go only spot originally but then they moved to a larger location with seating. Good cakes, I would consider swinging by here to pick up a slice for a special occasion.

I ordered my 55th birthday cake from Emma Cakery, and it exceeded all my expectations. I requested a custom design with banana and walnut flavors, and the cake came out exactly as I had envisioned. The moment I saw it, my heart filled with happiness. The cake was elegant, beautiful, and truly the centerpiece of my dessert table. Many of my guests stopped to admire it and took pictures with it throughout the evening. After five hours, we finally cut the cake, and it tasted just as incredible as it looked -- super fresh, moist, and absolutely delicious. Some of my guests even asked for extra slices to take home! A special thank you to Niloofar for her amazing talent, creativity, and professionalism. Her organization and attention to detail made the entire experience wonderful. I asked for my deposit back - and after several emails, calls and voicemail, a week later I was told that it is not refundable. I was never told that it was not refundable, there is no contract made. Fernanda thinks that it says so at the bottom of her emails but nope, all it says is 'Please note that orders are not booked on our calendars until a deposit is paid and we confirm the receipt of that deposit. Quotes for your order do not constitute a contract for services.' NO mention that deposit is not refundable. She should have directed me to the disclaimer that she has on her website that mentions it but how else would I have seen that unless I am told to go into the website? Since I expressed my frustrations, she has told me that she will refund my deposit but has still failed to do so almost a week later. Even sent out a reminder PayPal refund email but no luck. Refunding the deposit takes less than 5 minutes - please don't give me an excuse to say that you were too busy. I think it is unfair to hold money from a customer without fully explaining the terms and conditions and if you've said that you will refund it then you should do it ASAP not drag it on...
