She takes the time to understand the requirements and surprisingly, her rates were very affordable for the design, quality of work and taste. We constantly kept in touch right from the time I placed my order till the time I picked it up. The chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling was moist and decadent. It earned a lot of praises. My friends and I ordered a cake from Sonica for a friend's milestone birthday. We decided to go with things that she was passinate about as the decoractions on top of the cake. Sonica was very flexible and responsive and catered to every wish we had. She did a fantastic job with all the customized fondant decorations. It turned out to be better than expected. I ordered their Jasmine Milk Tea with boba. It took over 45 minutes - almost an hour to get just 1 drink. Either they do not have enough people working or they just take really long because it was not that busy for a weekend afternoon with only a few people ahead of me in line who has not gotten their drinks yet. The milk tea was not good at all, it was bitter and tasted more tea than milk - it was not that creamy and it did not even taste like it was a green / jasmine tea base. I took a few sips and toss it because I felt like it was not even drinkable - I felt a bit queasy drinking it.

Sonica came through for my son's 30th birthday cake and delivered his cake in such short notice. I asked for a detailed cake and she came through with every detail. I ordered a two tier cake of Oreo and Rocky Road. I personally am not a big fan of cake, but the more I ate the cake the more I began to like it. I enjoyed the marshmallow and walnuts in the Rocky Road. I thought I was going to have to order from Safeway, but luckily came across"It's Baked", and Sonica came through for us...Thank you so much for such quick turn around, my son loved it! I got a custom cake for my son's birthday and it was awesome. The cake turned out exactly like the picture I sent. Great attention to detail!! What's more I called with a 2 day notice and not only was Sonica accommodating, she was very thorough and professional in giving me several flavor options.
