    Dacquoise Sandwich! SO SO GOOD!

Best design cakes and desserts ever! J is an amazing pastry chef and always provides top-notch professional services. Her cakes and desserts are not only delicious but also aesthetically pleasing. My favorite desserts are Black Sesame Parisian Flan and Earl Grey Dacquoise. I strongly recommend Le Cake by J. to others!

    Le cake for NYU celebration!

Luckily we came during Saratoga classic car Sunday and i think it deters people since they can't park on the street so luckily less people than normal. Learned that their bakery items are from Sakura bakery which i really like! I got the hojicha latte no sugar, avocado toast, and pistachio rose gluten free cake. The hojicha latte is the best ive tried so far! So good even without sugar, smooth but still a deep toasted taste and not grainy. The pistachio rose cake was nice and rosey and generous. Really liked the avocado toast with a nice balsamic sauce. Overall def recommend and want to come back to try more of their drinks and bakery items!!

They have plenty of outdoor seating at their front patio, which is perfect since we had our pups with us. Service was friendly and our drinks were ready in a timely manner despite it being busy. I ordered the Iced Aztec Mocha and it was alright, nothing special, but provided the coffee fix I needed. Overall, this is a decent spot if you're looking for a local coffee shop in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but if I find myself in Saratoga area, I'll consider them as a possible option.

The shop has a bright, clean interior with a casual atmosphere that makes it an easy place to stop for a refreshing dessert. Seeing stacks of fresh mangoes behind the counter immediately gave me confidence that the fruit would be one of the highlights of the experience. The mango desserts were easily the best part of my visit. I tried the Pomelo & Mango with Sago, which combined sweet mango, creamy coconut milk, chewy sago, and fresh pomelo for a refreshing balance of flavors and textures. I also enjoyed the Mango Chewy Ball, where the fresh mango and smooth mango juice paired perfectly with the soft, chewy rice balls. Both desserts felt light while still being satisfying, making them a great option on a warm day. I also had the chance to try a few of the other menu items. The mango mochi was fresh and soft, with ripe mango wrapped inside a delicate chewy layer. For something different, the spicy chili fish balls offered a savory contrast to the fruit desserts, adding a bit of heat and a springy texture that balanced out all of the sweetness. The ordering process was quick and straightforward, and my food arrived not long after I found a table. The dining area was clean and comfortable, and small touches like providing wet wipes made the experience feel a little more thoughtful. It is the kind of place where you can stop in for a quick dessert or stay a little longer while sharing a few different items with friends. Overall, Hui Lau Shan is a great spot for anyone looking for fresh, fruit-forward desserts with authentic Hong Kong flavors. The quality of the mangoes, the variety of textures, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a place I would happily return to whenever I was craving something refreshing.

I haven't tried other drinks so I won't comment on those~ Drinks taste and smell like durian, definitely only for durian lovers. There's durian flesh/pulp at the bottom~ The Signature Golden Durian Smoothie is the one I would recommend if you love durian. The Durian Blossom is also very pleasant because it mixes in jasmine tea! The one durian drink I didn't like was Durian Silk Brew (I think this is a seasonal drink) because it included fermented rice. The mix of durian and alcohol/fermentation was too much for my taste buds. Line can be long, there are a few kiosks inside to place your orders and some (usually crowded) tables at the side.

I would definitely keep that in mind that this is a pretty busy place, but I also felt that the wait wasn't as long as estimated. I saw this was a popular place for durian or smoothie-esque drinks. However, I wanted to try other items which was a milk tea and the avocado coffee. I definitely would not recommend these drinks. The tea was not flavorful, and the avocado coffee was okay. This is also taking into the account the size and price of the drinks, which definitely makes it not worth it. I would try to come again to get a more popular menu item.

There are screens around the restaurant that displays all the numbers that have been called, which is a nice touch. Ambiance: spacious place with plenty of tables and seating. Food: - Injeolmi toast: 4/5. friend ordered it to share. I never had it before, so didn't know what to expect. It reminded me of a sweet pizza (in a good way!). Took me a bit to grow accustomed to the taste, but once I did I couldn't stop nibbling it. - Black sesame latte: 2/5. Tasted very watered down and bland. Spoke with others who also got various drinks and they would not recommend, either. Definitely more of a food spot Tldr: great spot to socialize and work. Skip the drinks, order the food!

We got the red bean and the strawberry flavors - the portions were very large for a bay-area reasonable price of less than $15 item. It was my first visit and honestly, I was a bit disappointed; while there were lots of fresh fruits, I found the flavor bland and not sweet enough - which may be someone's jam? I wished it had more condensed milk to give it a more creamy flavor. The shaved ice was beautiful and fluffy - i'd say this is the main draw that may bring me back to try new flavors. There is plenty of seating inside for tables of two or even small groups. Parking can be difficult since many popular establishments are in the same strip mall so plan ahead for parking time.
