We used to shop and order our cakes from Dick's bakery, up until they burnt down. We loved their famous burnt almond cake. When I heard that Peter's makes an excellent burnt almond cake, as well, I knew that's where I wanted my birthday cake to come from. When I opened the door, to enter the bakery, a fresh smell of baked goods and sweets hit me in the best possible way. It smelled like fresh maple glazed donuts. I love that smell. We were warmly greeted by the staff. It wasn't busy at all, so we took our time looking for other sweets to purchase. They found our pre-ordered cake and they did a wonderful job decorating with a cute pumpkin on the top. We also chose an apricot danish, a maple bar and a raisin snail. The prices were very affordable and reasonable here. I really loved how all the pastries and cakes. were displayed in their cases. Everything looked amazing. They even sell fresh loaves of bread and rolls. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were immediately helped with a smile. I love the old fashioned vibe in here. Both pastry and cake boxes were tired up with sting, to properly secure our box. We paid for our goods and hurried home to try a few of them. The maple doughnut was good. I loved the icing better than the doughnut itself. The apricot danish was delicious and so soft. The apricots on the top were not overly sweet, which I prefer. The pumpkin burnt almond cake was so good. The cake was so soft and light with a wonderful pumpkin flavor that reminds me of fall. The frosting and custard filling paired perfectly with the pumpkin cake. The caramelized almonds covered the entire outer cake and offered a nice flavorful crunch. The whole thing works perfectly. I didn't even know you could get the burnt almond cake in pumpkin. A huge thank you to my friend John D. for letting me know about this limited time fall flavor. We will definitely be back for more soon.

On September 4, 2026, I ordered and paid for my mother's 96th birthday cake--a burnt almond cake--a day in advance. When I arrived to pick it up, the line was very long, and the wait took far too long. Unfortunately, the cake itself was unbelievably dry and crumbled with every bite. After recommending Peter's Bakery to family and friends for many years, I was embarrassed to serve this cake. Sadly, it took away from a very special birthday celebration. I hope Peter's Bakery improves both its customer service and the quality of its cakes.

The canvas is a creamy white frosting, the base wrapped with flowing grass icing and white and yellow flower fondant. A classic whimsical Winnie and Piglet are nestled in the grass. As you make your way to the top of the cake, there's a "Hunny" jar with overflowing honey icing spilling over the side, and little fondant bees enjoying the bountiful honey. Perched at the top next to the honey jar is a chocolate yellow honeycomb, a perfect touch to this artful cake. The cake was an absolute hit with guests, and a perfect centerpiece. Then it came time to cut the cake... which felt so wrong but also so so right. The cake cut smoothly and was impeccably moist. Inside was a chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse filling. It was as lovely and delicious on the inside as it appeared on the outside. Infinity out of 10, can't recommend Marvel Cake enough! Great communication with Maryam, on-time pickup the morning of our event, and the price was very reasonable. If you're in the Campbell / San Jose area and looking for a custom cake, look no further! The Paris Brest was my favorite of the four! The service was friendly and helpful, and the shop has cute indoor seating that makes it a nice spot to enjoy dessert. Holy moly, why didn't anyone clue me into this place?! This is a true Parisian patisserie unassumingly on the corner of Meridian and Hamilton in a fairly rundown strip mall. It's a tiny shop with barely any seating, so plan to take your bounty home with you. The butter croissants (the only way to measure) are crisp, flaky heaven. They have a spread of other pastries but it's hard to choose anything different. Dare I say my favorite croissant in the South Bay, and reasonably priced too! Cherry on top is that they serve Chromatic Coffee, and the lattes are excellent. It's a new weekend staple for us.

I also thought it was really sweet. How this quaint little shop had a bunch of regulars in it!! As I entered, the gentleman behind the register greeted me and another customer came in and he knew that Customer by me. So cute!! I will definitely be back here again to get some more pastries at such a great pre-pandemic price!! I hope they start making sandwiches or other types of food items!!

I think I was really excited to try this place because they had a lot of fusion flavors and unique combinations. I came here and I ordered a long Neeha milk bread sandwich and I also got the egg Sando and the potato tostones (the flattened fried potatoes). we also ordered two drinks we got the cold brew with the turon cold foam and the dirty peanut butter Hojicha latte. Longanisa sandwich- 4/5 the bread was really good. I felt like the eggs were a little underseasoned not to my taste, but my fiancé really liked it long. It was good was a little bit salty and sweet and went well with the milk bread. I would say this could've done without the cheese. The egg sando was great. 4.5/5 It's classic. Exactly what I'd expect and the bread was good. I think egg to bread ratio could've been better but no complaints. Cold brew w turon cream 4/5- I didn't taste too much of the banana and it wasn't as sweet as I liked. Had to ask for extra syrup to sweeten but still had not much flavor Dirty peanut butter hojicha- 5/5 this was decadent, sweet, nutty, so good! Loved this.

What a great Filipino twist. The longanisa worked perfectly in sandwich form. 3. Potato Tostones -- 8/10 Very crispy and flavorful. Ham & Brie Toast with Seasonal Fruit (Apricot) -- 8/10 I'm not usually a big toast person, but this was really good! Loved the balance of textures and flavors, especially with the apricot. When I placed the order, I mentioned that my daughter absolutely loves cats and said it would be wonderful if they happened to have any cat-themed decorations, although the bakery didn't promise that they would. They were very thoughtful and patient in communicating all the details with me. When I picked up the cake, I was genuinely amazed--it was even cuter than I had imagined! And sure enough, my daughter was SO happy to have a delicious kitty cake for her birthday. Seeing how excited she was made the cake even more special. I liked the concept but wished it was warmed up. The chow mein itself could have been more flavorful Ham & veggie sandwich (5/5): Friend ordered this and said this was her favorite item!
